Download and install Bridge CC, then in the Bridge Edit menu > Color Settings choose the color settings you want to synchronize your CC apps to.

I can’t afford to buy Photoshop just to construct two special capital letters. I’ve used the B and M in my logo for Balquhidder Music for years - but from jpgs - and I was hoping to have more flexibility in the future. I spent $169 to make sure I am in compliance. But I didn’t get anything of use to me.
I can’t understand why those Alternate Caps are not part of this - or any other package. I thought Adobe was capable of amazing things.

Actually, when Adobe moved from Type 1 fonts to OpenType CFF fonts, all the so-called “expert typefaces” were consolidated into the base fonts. In other words Adobe Garamond Pro Regular not only has the Western Latin characters of the original Type 1 version of Adobe Garamond, but also has alternate Latin capitals (with titling, titling floating accents, and stylistic alternates), alternate Latin lowercase (swash and superiors), Latin small capitals (alphabetic and floating accents), ligatures, multiple numeric forms (including lining tabular, lining proportional, oldstyle tabular, oldstyle proportional, superscripts, scientific inferior, numerator, denominator forms, fractions, mathematical operators, etc.) plus a raft of other special symbols.
OpenType fonts are Unicode-based and allow for more than the 256 characters in Type 1 fonts which required multiple typefaces all with mappings to a standard keyboard to accommodate all these glyphs.
Thus, hopefully your disappointment will turn to joy.
To assist you in understanding OpenType fonts and to show you what is in the current Adobe Garamond fonts, I have attached a few PDF files for your perusal.

The officially unlocked GSM version will work just fine. However, that model is currently only available through Apple's online store, I don't believe stock has reached brick/mortar stores yet, you'll have to check.
Why do you want to purchase in the US? Your warranty & support will only be valid in the US, and you can purchase officially unlocked iPhones in France that have an EU wide warranty. Doesn't make any sense to me.

Choose Utilities from the Finder’s Go menu, open the Disk Utility, create two or three additional partitions(see below), and install or clone a different Mac OS X version to each.

Color management - going from 3ds Max to Photoshop

I'm trying to develop a workflow for bringing renders from 3ds Max into Photoshop, and having them look the same in both programs. The issue is that Max isn't color managed, so things can shift.

So, to repeat what Johan is describing in the article, here's a test I've been doing:
- Put my dell U2410 monitor in Standard mode (which is wide gamut)
- Set the monitor profile to Dell U2410 D6500 (the monitor isn't calibrated yet; I've just been using this profile for the tests)
- Create a scene in Max, and tweak the render so that the colors look correct to me in this non-managed setup
- Save the image
- Open the image in Photoshop (with working space of sRGBIEC1966-2.1), which of course gives the "missing profile" message
- Now, if I'm understanding Johan correctly, if I assign that Dell profile, the image should look identical in Photoshop to what I saw in Max (because I'm assigning the profile that was in effect at the time of creation). And if I assign the Working RGB (sRGB...), I should expect to see the brighter colors become desaturated, due to the smaller gamut.
So...what's the problem? Well, sometimes I get those exact results consistently...assign the Dell profile and it looks corrrect; assign the working sRGB and it's desaturated. But other times, for no apparent reason, I'll get different results: Assign the Dell profile and it's OVERsaturated; assign the working sRGB and it looks correct (i.e., exactly as it does in Max). Things have been in that weird state for the past few hours...I keep getting those same wierd results...earlier today I would consistantly get the results as predicted by the article. Yesterday it was the same thing...it shifted back and forth a few times between working and not working...nothing changed as far as I can tell.
Any ideas what's going on?

I think this is overcomplicating it, and with a quite a few stumbling blocks on the way.
To name one: using the monitor profile in the document accomplishes only one thing - turning display color management off in Photoshop, thus reducing it to the same non-color managed state as 3ds Max. Since the two profiles are the same, no change happens, and you just get what's known as a null transform. IOW you gain nothing and lose a lot.
The two will be consistent - and both wrong. That's why this is never recommended.
Now this is important, so pay attention: If you do this with the Dell in native wide gamut mode, you will be scr*wing up your files beyond recognition. Take that file into a properly color managed scenario, and it will be miles off.
I think the only workable approach in this case, since you have to use software that isn't color managed, is to put the monitor in sRGB mode. There's just no way you can work with a wide gamut display in this scenario and keep your sanity. Or, as I suggested in an earlier post, sell it and get a standard display.
For this to work, you need an sRGB-type monitor profile. That can be straight up sRGB for "close enough", or a calibrator-produced profile made with the unit in sRGB mode. That would be better for Photoshop, for 3ds Max it doesn't make any difference because it'll just ignore the profile anyway.
EDIT: I should add, just in case it's still unclear, that the reason sRGB "works" in a non-color managed setting while other profiles and color spaces don't, is simply because that's the way an average monitor displays. The Dell U2410 is not an average monitor. If we all had U2410s, and I mean everybody, then Adobe RGB would have been the consensus standard. But we don't and it's not. So you have to play by the majority rule.

Apple store switched my account from the French to the American location, where I am now. Whenever I want to download an app, it says that I must switch to the French store before purchasing. Does any one know how to do that? Thank you for your help

Hello and Thank You for your help!, I recently uninstalled malware from my computer. Since then I cannot open my gmail account and retrieve my email. ail.

I removed the ASK tool bars from my computer and since then I keep being told the cookies is either enabled or disabled. I refreshed Firefox and that solved nothing it just erased somethings that I setup on my desktop. I'm not dump but I'm not that well versed in resolving this issue and I don't want to make matters worse.......please help! And thank you so much! One more thing......I can still retrieve my email using Explorer but chose not to because of the lack of support for XP which is what I have. Again Thank You

Good afternoon and thank you John99!... for the reply and advice to my problem the other day. To give some insite to the issue I presented...the ASK toolbar was somehow downloaded onto my laptop and I not knowing that it was as malware and dangerous to my computer at first I left there. I did not like the fact that it was there and how it seemed to take over my setup. Well I looked into it which was fairly easy and found out what I did about Mindspark...not good! I also discovered while trying to solve the problem after receiving you responseto this problem that JAVA ORACLE can carry the Ask toolbar thru their updates. When OKed an update I found it wanting to add the ASK toolbar. I know that in the past I have not allowed other things that carry the ASK toolbar to download this because I liked what I had already setup. Well some where along the way it got downloaded. Anyway...I tried what you had suggested and nothing has changed. I receive email's thru Exployer and bring up my desktop to get onto Mozilla. This is not working!!! I just want to get onto Firefox, click into gmail and anything else I want and use it!..I can assure you that the one thing I cannot do is get into my gmail. It wants to tell my about my cookies...I have pressed all the right buttons and this is not solving anything at all. I was wandering that if I remove Firefox and download it again will this solve the problem. And will I be able to use all the same information or will I find it telling me that someone else already has that email, password, name, etc. because it did not clear everything when I removed Firefox from my computer? Remember, I'm not an expert on computers so any information you may have or suggestions you can give would be highly appreciated but step by step details are also welcome and needed! Very slow launch and usage of Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator and inDesign.

I have a brand new MacBook Pro and having major problems with my Adobe CC Suite. Takes forever to launch and once/if it does it is painfully slow. All my software is up to date, running yosemite, and Suitcase fusion 5, Experiencing the problems mostly with Illustrator, photoshop and inDesign. Any suggestions?
