I want to click on the sender's email address and save it to a Group.  Right now it goes directly to my "all contacts".  Is there some method of saving it directly to a group?

Currently when I receive an email, I have the option of adding that address to my address book.  However, I use groups quite a bit and I want to add the sender's address to a group, without having to later find it in my address book and moving it to a group.
Can this be done?
Bud

I moved the file formhistory.sqlite to another file folder. I then started Firefox up again to see if it worked or if I needed to start it in Safe Mode. No need for Safe Mode. It now works exactly as it should. Thank you so much!!

  • Can i generically change the "send from" email address in mavericks 10.9.2?

I have my regular email address and another that I'd prefer to be sending from. That one doesn't have password as it's a simple forwarding email. Can I send from it? Can't see how without setting it up as full email address.

From the Mail menu bar, select
    Window ▹ Connection Doctor
Click the Show Detail button. A drawer opens. Try to send a message and post the text that appears. Anonymize any personal information before posting.

  • My husband and I share the same e-mail address, and computer. We both have iPhones now and want to have our own individual Apple ids, but have one iTunes account is it possible?

My husband and I share a computer, have the same e-mail address, and have one iTunes account. Can we have different Apple ids on our individual iPhones or do we have to use the same one?

For purchasing from the iTunes and App stores, you will probably want to share the same Apple ID.  But for other services such as iMessage, FaceTime and iCloud, you should use separate IDs.  For example, if you use the same ID for iMessage you'll start getting each other's text messages.  If you use the same ID for FaceTime you may get each other's FaceTime calls.  If you set up the same iCloud account with the same ID, and data you sync with the account will be merged and the merged data will appear on all devices (i.e., you'll end up with each other's contacts and calendar events).  You would also be sharing the same 5GB of free iCloud storage rather than each having your own 5GB of space.

  • Email messages now show "To: me" instead of the name or email address and I want to know how to change back to the way it was.

I use several yahoo email addresses and it has always been very convienent to see if it is a personal or business related message by simply seeing the To: line. Now all of sudden all I see is "me" and it is not at all helpful. I didn't make the change nor authorize it to be done. I am not even sure if this is a Firefox issue or a Yahoo issue. I would like to know how to change back to show the full email name or address.

hello shackiraq, you'd have to contact yahoo's support about this issue - firefox doesn't handle your emails but just renders a website like it is provided to you by the server of a webmail service.

  • How to change the sender's email address

Basically, is there a way of changing the sender's address when using the hub to send emails from Gmail?
I have the following domain / email registered with Enom: {REMOVED}. But, when I signed up to Gmail I had to use one of their email addresses: {REMOVED}. This is now my login name into Gmail.
But I don't want people to see {REMOVED} whenever I send an email.
Whilst using Gmail, I use the feature "Check email from other accounts" and here I have entered "{REMOVED}". What happens is that, whenever anyone sends an email to {REMOVED}, Gmail intercepts it and they show up within Gmail.
Also, in Gmail's accounts section, I tell it to "Send mail as" to {REMOVED}. So, when I send an email, it says that it has come from {REMOVED}. That's great.
However, when I send an email using Blackberry's Hub from Gmail, it says that it has come from {REMOVED}. Is there any way of altering this?
I have downloaded the Gmail app, and does what I want. But I would rather use the hub to send emails. So is there any way to change the sender's address?
    Thanks.

    Hello thirtynine,
When sending email via Gmail from your BlackBerry 10 smartphone, the primary address will always appear on the sent message. This cannot be edited to appear as another address.
    Thank you.

  • Howto change the Sender/Reply-to address and name in the broadcaster

    Hello,
When I create a broadcast setting; the username and email address of the creator are used for the broadcaster.
Now I created a group account for broadcasting the reports. However, I don't want the recreate the broadcastings again, but only change the return address/name and/or the sender.

So, I have to change the RSRD_SETTING.  I can't go in and change a line though, the change option is not available (it was available for table RSRD_SETT_NODE_A.  Should that option be active?
SAP doesn't like you to "change" table entries just like that (and that's pretty obvious too), so it's normal that the "change option" is not available. That doesn't mean you cannot change the entry though... question is just why would you change it? Especially the "owner"? Anyways, in a program you can change the table entries using the correct commands. If you have a clear logic & cannot do it any other way, than that's the way to go forward.

  • I am trying to reset my apple id unmation onder icloud account infor the original pc that I signed in with...my phone is connected to the pc and I have made the change in email address and password but it will not register on my phone.

I am trying to reset my apple id under icloud account information on the original pc that I set the account up.  I have changed email addresses now and would like to change to new address.  I have gone through the steps on changing apple id and password and have my phone hooked up to pc but it will not change over to the new address and password thus I can not order any apps or use icloud.  Help!

Go to Settings, and then turn iMessage and FaceTime on if they are off.  If they are on, then turn them both off, restart the phone, then turn them back on.
Go back to Settings > iCloud.  Whether the current or old email address is displayed there, try your current password.

  • Subject Line & Sender's Email Address Not Printing

When using ePrint to print my emails, the sender's email address and the subject line do not print.  How can I get them to print?
    This question was solved.

    Hi eldi,
    Thank you for the update.
If I knew how design engineers thought then I probably would have become one.
You should be able to see who sent the email to the printer by logging into your HP ePrintCenter account or your HP Connected account (HP Connected has only been rolled out to the USA, the UK, France, and Germany).   Each account has a job/print history available.  If you are unsure who sent the job to the printer, you can always log into your account and check the email address the print job was sent from.   I’ve included a screen shot from each account and I've highlighted where you would find the email address that sent the print job.

  • I am unable to open a certain type of email. It has only the sender's email, subject, but no where to open the message. I have about one out of 10 emails like t

email. This happens about 1 of 10 emails. I can't open them or respond or add to my contacts.

I found the answer. Opened a new email message to my friend (which showed both the old aol email address
and her new one). Then went to Window on the Menu bar and scrolled down to previous recipients. This time clicking on that opened a window in the email showing allPrevious Recipients and lo and behold, when I scrolled down to her old AOL address and removed it in that window, I was finally rid of it. I don't remember that this window opened before giving me the opportunity to visit it, but maybe it was just below what I could see. Hope this helps others with this problem

  • How do I save a sender's email address to my address book without typing it in manually?

I used to be able to right click and save an address to my contacts with my old email program, but I can't figure out how to do it with TB.

You simply click the star right next to the sender's email address in the message header. This files the address to your Personal Addressbook and the star turns yellow.
You can click the star again to edit the contact.

  • I have a new email address and was successful in changing that information on line but my phone and iPad does not recognize the new address and I cannot update anything. It also does not accept the password associated with the old email address/Apple ID

I have a new email address and was successful in changing the information online but cannot change it on my iPhone 4S or iPad. When I try to fix the problem it requires me to create a new password and now I can't remember that either.

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iDevice, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.  When you do this you may find that the password for your old ID isn't accepted.  If this should happen, and if your old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, you need to temporarily recreate your old ID by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll.  When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

  • How do i delete a icould email from my iphone when i no longer have access to the email address and my security questions dont match to get in to the account?

I am trying to delete my icloud account from my iphone as i no longer have access to this email and when i try to challenge the security question to access the account apparently i dont know my own date of birth. I cant delete the account as i dont remeber the passwrod and i have a new icloud account that i would like to link the phone to. Any help would be appreciated
    thanks

If the old ID (iCloud account) is yours, and if it is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. This will not work if your current ID is an entirely new ID and is not a newer version of the old ID.
