I want to create an ePub2 document should have a proper view in IPAD

I created a ePub document as per the standard epub2 format but it is not to good to view in IPAD. IF i view it in ADE or kindle it is good to look but in IPAD the inline images are even placed in their position. So please anybody help me to built an epub2 document which can be viewed good in both IPAD and ADE. I wanta help that whether any script or code to be added in the EPUB document to make it viewed properly in the book format.

Do check your META-INF folder. It should contain "com.apple.ibooks.display-options.xml" which will make the view same as you do it on ADE.
I know my answer was too late. Please let me know if you had already solved the issue and what was the solution you figured out.

I want to my plugin to create a simple document as soon as My Plugin is loaded in Indesign. I have derived my class IStartupShutdownService so that it's called in startup.

I want to save the document to MyDocuments folder, I tried to look in IDocFileHandler but I can not get a function which takes path/name as input with docRef.
Can u suggest how can my document to disk?
I dont want user to enter any detail, the document just created should get saved on Disk with the use of some commands only.

Want to create a InDesign document that is Interactive as a PDF

I want to create an InDesign form that is made into a PDF that can be filled out (populated with their answers) and returned via email to someone.
Can I make the document in InDesign or do I have to do it in Acrobat? I am running CS2.

Just started doing interactive PDFs so I'm learning as I go. Been using Sandee's VQS and Scott Citron's Professional Design Techniques to learn the mechanics. Scott's book is my current favorite. Sure hope he gets well soon.
I rushed through most of the books to get the first issue out but I have a week or so to smooth out my template. Main concern is navigation. I don't want page numbers on the pages but I do want people to click on nav guide and be taken to a specific page. Here's an example of what I mean (note how the page you're on is indicated in red):

Fixing a sequence created as 29.97 - should have been 25fps

It's been many years since I edited anything, as I primarily shoot commercials and edits are done by others much more qualified. My last Premiere software was purchased back when Photoshop 5.0 was new . . . so apologies in advance for this senior moment. I am now using Premiere CS5 build 5.0.1.
I shot this 2 camera fashion show as a favour for a friend and thought I did a very nice (but painfully slow) edit of a 6 minute pre-show and runway project. Hundreds of edit points and transitions . . . only to find on exporting to AME that I had stuffed up the sequence frame rate, which is to say it did not match my source FPS.
I shot both cameras as 25P, and created a source sequence @ 29.97 inadvertantly, then went on to create a multicam sequence (also @ 29.97, again, brain fart). I made all my edits and transitions on the multicam 29.97 sequence. I trancoded the sequence as 25p mp2 at high bit rate twice to see if I could get away with it. I tried both with frame blending and without, all at maximum render quality. I also tried to export it as a 29.97 movie and then let encore transcode it back to 25p. All the footage is jumpy as one would expect. The titles especially.
The 29.97 movie plays smooth as silk on my computer. . .
I then tried to then nest my multicam edited footage sequence in a new sequence that is created at 25p. Transcoded that whole project at 25p at all the recommended settings that I took from watching the top moderators sugestions. And that movie plays back just as jumpy.
While it would probably be good practice to re-edit the whole project again . . . I probably should be out trying to make a living right now instead of fixing a pet project for a friend. Fact is, I am not likely to let this just be, as it is too nice not to fix . . .
I thought of exporting and EDL and starting over, but I am not sure if that EDL would be any better in terms of sequence frame rate referencing. And the main thing also is that I thought by nesting the multicam sequence in a 25p sequence, that it should have taken care of all that anyway? Anyone know why that would not have worked, or what I should do now?

Thanks for the input. First off; I did think the transitions were intact, but only after looking closer, saw that all kinds of changes had been made. I did an EDL import but decided that I might just be better off fixing the copy and paste.
That said, We decided that the flash movie looked fine on his website and that for big screen, the H.264 movie I made looked great @ 29.97. SO I'm wrapping this up at that. I also got to play with the H.264 file on a USB stick and plugged into my PS3 which looked great as well, so that's something else I probably would not have tried otherwise.
All in all, I'm having a great time getting back into editing after years of simply shooting. I love PPro CS5. Actually, I'm having a ball with the whole master collection. My son needed it for school work, otherwise I may not have gotten into Encore, Illustrator and After Effects as well. Now I'm itching for a grunty box to make it all work without 4 hour 2 pass transcoding sessions. My 2 year old machine is choking!
Next time I'll pay attention to the basics . . . source footage sequence settings!

We created a pdf document with comments and hyperlinks. On iPad, comments/hyperlinks disappear.

Using Acrobat Pro 9, we created a pdf with comments and hyperlinks to be shared with a large community on the iPad, through a server. Once the document is opened on the iPad, all the comments and hyperlinks disappear. Are we missing a tool on the iPad or is there a different way to create this file? Thank you.

Is everyone on the iPad using the latest version of Adobe Reader mobile for iOS (10.6 at the moment)? You can see all the comments (including drawing markups) as well as view the notes attached to text markup with this version.

How can I best edit word documents that have been emailed to my iPad?

I regularly receive word documents from work, via my yahoo email account. I have two questions really.

Sorry, yes. When I asked "how do I transfer it to Pages for editing?" I perhaps should have made it clear that I have purchased it. I can also create documents in it and send them as a Word document to others via email.
Could you clarify "When you get the email, click on the Word Document to view it." The email appears in the Inbox list but does not show an attachment in the same way it does on my Mac. If I tap the email, it opens and reveals the contents including the Word document contents. At what point am I looking for an arrow - in the email list or in the opened and readable Word document?

PR created through CRM service should have receipient field as blank

We are doing enh for receipient field blank when PR creates through CRM service but when the PR creates by CRM badi we are able to generate this receipient field as blank but it overwrites by STD Bapi in R3
Can anyone tell me how i can make this field blank by any R3 badi/user exit or nay other wayout

In CR700 materials there is the next explanation: "Service-based revenue recognition (value/quantity contracts with a target quantity) means that the revenue is realized based on an event. Events are releases that are reflected as service orders or service confirmations. Every document should have a unique number.

The layout of SDN and service.sap.com changes seemingly daily. The location of documents changes to an extent that it is often not possible to find things any more. Many documents refer to other documents that no longer exist or at a location that no longer exists.
The search functionality yields 'creative' results many times.
This could be easily rectified by giving each document a unique number. This way, all documentation would only have to have a reference (e.g. See document 123456789.99) so that we could always find what we want.
Some smarts could be applied to the document number format.
E.g. XXX99999999.999, where XXX identifies the type of document, 99999999 is the document number, and the .999 is the version number.
Some examples,
SNO000012345.027 would be version 27 of SAP Note 12345
SNO000012345.999 would be the latest version of that document - this is important. Can you imagine how easy it could be to find a document? In the search field you just type the document number with a version of .999 and you would be guaranteed to find the latest version of that document!
The potential time and money saved for SAP and customers would be enormous.

Thank you very much for your response. It is gratifying to know that the appropriate people read and respond to our comments.
It is true that only the latest version of a document is available on the Service Marketplace. However it is very typical for me (and I assume others) to have my own copy of a document. For example, instructions on performing some technical task.
When I next want to perform that task I might check to see if there is a newer version of that document. I frequently encounter the situation where the structure of the service marketplace has changed and I can spend considerable time trying to find the location of that document. I used to keep instructions on where to find particular documents but I gave up because the locations seem to change more quickly than I can keep up with.
Another common situation I encounter is when one SAP document refers to another document, with navigation instructions for the Service Marketplace. However, again, due to the dynamic nature of the layout of the site the instructions are no longer valid.
SAP also frequently change the names of products. e.g. Solution Manager 4.0 is now known as Solution Manager 7.0. Netweaver 2004s has become Netweaver 7.0. This can make searching difficult as I may be searching for product 'X', but unknown to me it has become product 'Y'.
These situations, combined with the sometimes slow speed of the Service Marketplace can result in much wasted time trying to find a document. Again, please imagine being able just type in a document number and instantly be presented with that document? Across the large number of users this would save many, many hours.
Do you ever trace the usage of the site? If others are like me you would see that we spend a long time navigating in many directions trying to find the desired document. A short method like I describe would remove a considerable burden from the site if people could instantly find what they want.
The search engine has improved immeasurably over recent years but it still can be frustrating at times searching by keywords alone.
Thanks for posting the URL shortcut for SAP Notes. I have been using something like this. Is this publicised at all? I think many people would find it useful.

Foreign trade--Billing document should not be created with missing data

Hi,
We have foreign trade set up. In that we defined incompletion schema at line item level with commodity code and country of origin as "Field ready for input - Incompletion check active".
Can anybody tell me that, in the above setup, is it possible to avoid the creation of billing document with missing above data.
Generally , system will go for the accounting status for block with foreign trade data missing. But our users don't want to create the billing document if the data is missing.
Can any body suggest us.

You have to set up a new subroutine or you have to copy the standard subroutine and include the logic that it should read the foreign trade details at both sales order and delivery levels.you need to assign the subroutine in both VTFL and VTFA copy controls (header and item levels)

Adobe Creative Suite Confusion. Want to Create a Website

I am so confused by all the information or should I say I am overwhelmed. I am wanting to create a website. I have an idea of the layout of the website. It is basically using a PNG image that I had created as the background. Some rounded rectangle shapes which I need to add (Dont know how to do). I will be using a top naviagtion all text with one button dropdown menu and a header footer and a sidebar. I am so confused with CSS,what it is and why I need it etc. I dont know which tools in the creative suite I need. How is fireworks used. I have seen tutorials where people make sites in photoshop and then take to dreamweaver but I have been told the coding isnt clean. I just need some advice as what to do and where to start. I think it is because there are too many tools. I would purchase additional software if it meant my job is easier but again the coding needs to be clean.

With regards your statement, "I can't make shapes in dreamweaver" maybe you should find out a bit more about the DOM, document flow, and the box model. In my head, you don't make shapes with Dreamweaver. A web page is a series of elements (in general terms, boxes) that you code up with HTML and style or manipulate with CSS and maybe, javascript. A web page is nothing like a printed page.
Take this tiny snippet of code:

That code would render in the browser fine enough. It's a <div> containing a title(<h1>) two small paragraphs (<p>) and a subtitle (<h2>).
Once you have your page structure, you apply CSS to each element as you need it. You can postition them in a rudimentary way with padding and margin and in more complex ways with float or more cautiously, with position. You can add background images, borders, color, and all kinds of fancy things and until you do, each element will just render one after the other, down and accross the page according to the content.

How to create wave pick document and transfer order from that document

I want to create wave pick document based on delivery and correspondingly want to create transfer order for that. My requirement is that if in 3 delivery i have to pick material M1 as 100, 50, 100 qty then when i create wave pick for these deliveries and create Transfer order by this wave pick doc it should pick from single bin of warehouse , currently it is picking from 3 different bins though qty in each bin is more than 250 in each bin. Also suggest me the configuration requred for this.

How to create a XML document

Hi,
I am new to XML and don't understand when to use what.
I have a java.sql.ResultSet and wants do create a XML document.
When should I use the following methods ?
- createElement
- createAttribute
- createCDATASection
- createTextNode
I think I have to create at least a "root" element, right ?
Should every column in my resultset be an element and its value an attribute ?
When should I use CDATA and Text ?
Please explain this to me.

Use CDATA sections when you know the string will include some funny characters e.g. ?,<,> etc.
You can decide yourself whether to create an attribute or a separate element.
e.g. <book isbn="1234">The Spice Girls</book>
or
<book>The Spice Girls
<isbn>1234</isbn>
</book>
I do not know about you, but I like the first better, using attributes.
It is up to individual preference, but it all depends what you intend to do with the data. At the moment, there is little understanding of how to map a/some xml files to a database type relation.
Many people are trying to force XML documents into relational database schemas, soem use object-oriented databasese.
Another suggestion is to treat the whole internet as a big web-site.
Who knows what is the next big decision, I do not think even the experts know! So, what do you think, your thoughts in this are as important as everybody elses.
