I want to create two windows

I am new to this, I have one window already working and I want to have another window up at the same time. The purpose is to write in one window and have it show up on the other.

Just create another window the same way you created the first one. Then write the text to the back window that the front window has written to it, and call the back windows paint method? That should work.

This is a LV7.1 Vi that does exactly what you want.... Just uncheck all "Allow user..." options under "VI Properties >> Customize..." and your .EXE will show only one window at the task bar.

I wanted to create two partitions on my iMac w/ Lion using a Recovery USB i created using Lion Recovery Disk Assistant but I keep getting Partition failed message saying "couldn't unmount disk"

I have this recently purchased iMac that comes with a Lion but I wanted to have two partitions on the hard disk. I know that the Recovery HD partition is on the same hard disk so I downloaded the Lion Recovery Disk Assistant and created a Recovery disk using a USB. I boot up the system using the USB Recovery disk and run Disk Utility to create 2 Partitions on the hard disk but I get a Failed partition message saying "couldn't unmount disk". What could be the problem here?

I have several computers. On each computer Firefox operates different. On the system I am writing these words. Every time I open a link Foxfire opens a new set of windows instead of a new tab. On my laptop Firefox opens a new tab when I want to open a new link. I think that this the way it should be. I have looked in the options to try and fix this but there is NO option to correct this. Both the computer are running the same version of Firefox. On the system I am writing this when new window pops up it creates two windows, one with a web page and one with tiles. If a unwanted page pops up; say a Web Cam site or Dating site that Pop-up Blocker use to block appears there is a race to close it because Firefox switches back to the page you were on before the new windows appeared. The Firefox on this system I am writing on also does not allow scrolling when something is being highlighted anymore.
I use Firefox because it allows me the configure it to use Applications on my computer to open, view, and save material from the Internet unlike the other browser that are available. Can someone fix these bugs?

Calendar web part doesn’t provide settings to display two weeks view.
Based on my understanding, you need to custom a server control to show as the calendar, just like the default calendar control. B y default calendar web part doesn’t contain property to set this.

How do I have two windows open side by side in Mountain Lion

I want to open two windows side by side for comparison purposes. Can anyone tell me how to do this please? BUT when I input something into one window, I don't want the other window to close. I know this can be done on my Windows laptop but I'm now using Mountain Lion on a new Mac - maybe it's something I have to learn to do without.

You want to have two browser windows open at the same time?
In Safari, just type command + n, and a new Safari window will open. You can use either window independently.

At this point there is not a way to create two different profiles on an account in ePrintCenter. The only way to switch between the two would be manually on the "ePrint Settings" within ePrintCenter.
If you were trying to do this from an iPhone or Android phone it would be possible to download the HP ePrint home & biz app which would allow you more options regarding printing in color and paper size and type.

Hi,
I already developed this kind of customization. The system offered the possibility to clic on a cell (Project Center, or My Task, or Timesheet), to input a value to store in a custom field, or in a database.
After clicking, a Popup with different textbox, etc...is displayed: it is possible to put values, comments, or whatever.
The benefits is that with this method, you don't have to redevelop the complete timesheet grid, which would be really complex.
Instead of that, you develop a part of javascript code, which displays a popup containing asp.net code. From the aspx page, you can make what you want: modifying the value of an task/assignment customfield for exemple.
To start, you can search for the Project Server 2010 SDK, Customize Project Center: it would be a good start point.
In case of big difficulty, ask again here, and we could get in touch to give more explanations.

Can anybody tell me how to create folders. I want to create two folders by coding and wants to put three fields in each folder. Actually it is not difficult by using Screen Painter and I can create but can't understand how to do by using code itself and also when click on first folder then second folder's field should not be visible and when click on the second folder then first folder's fields should not be visible and want to insert data into database table by using this form and I can do this. Only the problem with folders.......
I had tried so mant things but could not get how to do.

Only SkinLF for creating irregular windows?

I have tried to get an answer on my question at Java new but no success. I hope that somebody here will help me!
I have downloaded SkinLF and very eager to use it. I want to use it by NetBeans 4.0. For themes there are no problems. But when I want to create irregular window or trying to run Clock Batch File from SkinLF the following message appears "If you are using JDK 1.4 (I am using jdk1.5) and it complains about jawt.dll use jdk.home\jre\bin\java instead of jdk.home\bin\java". I have tried to change NetBeans .config file but then NetBeans failure to run. May be I am doing something not in a right way or it is impossible to run SkinLF within NetBeans 4.0 environment at all?
Another question, is there only SkinLF for creating irregular windows? Can you recommend another tool(s) (probably JDK 1.5 already has something new)?
Please advise.

I want to use two separate Lion Time Machine backups and use them to create two separate profiles on one new computer

This is something I need to do temporarily but I must do it.
I have an iMac 27 (end of year 2009) I5. It has 1 TB internal and I want to replace it with a 2 TB internal.
I have time machine backups on an external hard drive that has been connected via Firewire.
I have another iMac (my son's)Imac 24 Intel Core 2 Duo that has it's own separate Time machine backup to it's own separate firewire connected external drive. Both machines are completely up to date with the latest version of Lion and all other necessary software updates.
When the internal hardrive is replaced - I want to use my latest time machine backup to create one profile on the imac and then use my son's latest time machine back up for a second profile. The end goal being to have everything from my current set up ie: apps, documents, itunes, etc existing in one profile and everything in my son's current set up existing in the other profile. We can both be administrators for the time being as well. I should note even though we both have some of the same apps, we both also have other apps that the other does not.
My profile will be using about 900 gigs of total space.
My son's profile will be using about 250 gigs of total space.
This is temporary until the new iMac is released. Then I will want to transfer my profile to that leaving my son's intact on the iMac 27 I5.
I realize that during the temporary period that Time Machine will be making backups of this entire two profile setup, which I am now understanding as I write this will create a new issue for me when I want to transfer only my profile to the new computer as well. But one bridge to cross at a time, I guess.
I need to do this because we must bring his current computer to my father - as his iMac G5 is inoperable. We have been doing this round robin hand me down in our family since IMac DV special edition :-)
Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated. And any other suggestions as well.

Hey Shootist000, Thanks for the replies. First off, I am actually okay if we both have each other applications so I am not concerned about that. It is still unclear from what you have said as to whether I can in fact, use these two separte time machine backup to create two separate profiles on the new hard drive. If that in fact can be done, then - will it create two copies of the apps we both have in the ROOT of the drive as well as placing all the ones we each have separately?
And reading your second reply, makes me think that maybe the partition is the way to go to begin with and then down the road - after I am in the new iMac, I could reformat the iMac 27 with only one partion and restore my son's latest back prior to the reformat thus giving him full access to the 2 TB of the drive.
If this is still making sense, does this mean :
replace the 1TB with a 2TB - but have it partitione - 1.5 TB & 500 GB.
Install(Restore using Time Machine) my latest back up prior to the 1.5 partition
Install (Restore using Time Machine) my son's latest back up prior to the 500 gig partition
Lastly, in order for us both to be using the partioned computer - I am assuming Switch user can no longer be used - so would we need to restart and select our respective partions in order to use the computer? And if so, how would we each be able to be using time machine to back up - two separte external hard drives - with each one dedicated to only one partition? Or ?
