I want to get hp estation printer but dont have a pc, can i still use this printer
I am in an apt with wireless available from the office. I dont have a pc i can install drivers on as it is my work pc. Can I still use the estation printer?

You can upgrade to Mountain Lion from Lion or directly from Snow Leopard. Mountain Lion can be downloaded from the Mac App Store for $19.99.

can i take apart the imac power cord to put it through a hole in my desk. I'm able to get the ring off, but dont want take the housing off incase it breaks
I hear you. The reason I asked is that on the computer end of the cable, I took the ring off and it looks like there are some clasps around the housing, so I was wondering if these were for the purpose of threading the the cable. I will try and get some pictures. The drill is charging, however!!

I have been having a issue with getting the colors on my monitor to match the colors fro my print lab. I now have the monitor calibrated to match the prints but when I open elements it doesn't use the same colors. If i have it use the calibrated profile by changing the color management settings, the color picker no longer shows true white or black. How do I get elements 12 to honor the new calibrated settings?

If you purchased a serial number, then click on "License this Product". You will be asked to sign in with your Adobe ID/password and you will be asked for a serial number, or you might click on "I have a serial number". I want to get a Nikon D3100, but my macbook has OS 10.5.5 on it and I've read that the D3100 needs at least 10.6.5. What will happen if I try to use this camera with my computer? Will iPhoto simply not recognize it or will I get distorted pictures, or....what?

Why does it state that the camera is compatible with "10.4.11, 10.5.8..."? Does that mean that anything between 4.11 and 5.8 is incompatible???
BTW, I tried downloading the 10.5.8 combo update recently and got an error message that the update was "corrupted" after it was all downloaded, so I was not able to install that. -

Well here's a simple solution if you don't feel like sending in your MBP 2, 3, and 4, maybe even 5 times to AppleCare for recurring issues: Wait until the next revision of the MBPs which will hopefully bring about the introduction of the Core 2 Duo (Merom) chips. It shouldn't be too far off in the future and if the new chip is as good as everyone's saying it is, the wait will be well worth it. The CPU whine of my MBP is HORRIBLE and to me it makes the machine utterly useless when I'm working in the lab as I need to concentrate; I'm back on my PowerBook.
I realize that my situation is unique in that I'm working in a sound-sensitive environment. However, I paid the similar price tag on my PowerBook and this machine has been flawless. I bought the AppleCare for it and have yet to send it in for anything. My MBP is maybe 4 months old and has been to Apple's repair depot 4 times. In fact, for the first 2 and a half months of ownership, Apple had my MBP more than I did.
Apple may have fixed the problems by now with their newer MBPs but that's anyone guess, and it's solely a gamble as to what week build MBP you'd get and what kind of problems it will have.
My advice: I strongly recommend waiting if you can. Even if you don't work in a sound-sensitive environment, you will get great peace of mind knowing that your computer will perform, look, and sound like a well-built, $2000+ machine (hopefully). -

I've done a search on here and haven't found any solutions posted for it for windows computers. You could try posting in the iTunes For Windows forum and see if you get any suggestions in there (are you able to download other items from the store e.g. a free app ?) - I use a Mac, the only things that I could think of to suggest trying is see if you get the same error on a different iTunes library :
creating and/or opening a different iTunes library : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1589
or using a different user account on your computer in case it's a problem with that user account.
But you may want to try the iTunes For Windows forum first, apart from anything else you are likely to get better help for the above -

These apps you wish to delete aren't ones that came included with the iPad, are they? Those cannot be deleted. If these are apps you installed, try restarting your iPad:

Someone used my email address to create an Apple ID. I logged in to appleid.apple.com and I changed the password because it is freaking me out. I want to report it to Apple but dont know how to go about it. I want the Apple ID deleted. How do I go about that? Is there also a way to ensure that the email address wont be used again by this person to create another Apple ID?
This is compounded actually by a Gmail issue. I have had this email address for ages, since the start of the beta. But lately in the last year or so, I am getting mail that seems to be intended for other people but it is using my email address. It's only available from the store, and you need 10.6.6 to access the store. But if you can download it using 10.6.6 on another machine, you'll be able to install it on a machine meeting the hardware requirements (it doesn't matter which OS was installed on it). -

You should go onto the Tmobile web site and look around. Very soon a pop up window will ask you if you want to chat. You can try asking for someone who knows Spanish (if you prefer), they might have someone available who can chat with you in Spanish.
I give this suggestion because I remember on the Tmobile website, you can order on line, but they let you choose to pay only a little money up front, then pay off the rest over 24 months, or you can choose to pay for it in full. However, their ordering process does not say whether the paid for in full phone is going to be unlocked or not.
It may not be, You may have to make a request and say that since you have paid in full please unlock. I am not so sure that a paid for in full phone is automatically sold in unlocked state.
This is why I suggest you talk to Tmobile to get a definite answer.
Unless someone else on this forum knows for sure? Hope someone else jumps in to answer. But the best way is to ask for yourself directly from Tmobile. -
