I want to open ERP Opportunity by ITS

Hi, all
I want to realize the following.
I register an ERP QUOTATION by a follow-up from an Opportunity in CRM7.0.
When I opened from a transaction history of Opportunity,
I want to show an ERP Opportunity via ITS of the ERP.
Therefore I carried out the next customization.
I carried out customization of Navigationbar profile in spro
and set logic link ID "ERP-DLV-OV" in B inquiry of ERPQUOTATION by general OP mapping related to an Opportunity.
As a result, when When I opened from a transaction history of Opportunity,
I got possible to show an ERP Opportunity via ITS of the ERP.
However, the transfer of the transaction number does not seem to go well.
I displayed a screen before it is searched with transaction number.
How will the transfer of the transaction number go well if I do it?

I think I know what you are trying to do.
some information and possible steps for you I assume you are familiar with transaction launcher setup and enhancement
1) logical link erp-dlv-ov is for display of ERP Delivery document
2) erp-dlv-ov uses standard CRM launcher class CL_CRM_TL_ERP_LIKP_DISPLAY
3) erp-dlv-ov will try to use transaction number from Activity Clipboard ONLY which is "//clipboardICBORWrapper/OBJKEY"
4) transaction history of Opportunity is not the same as Clipboard
5) you will need to create your own launch transaction for showing the ERP document that you want because you should not change the standard
6) when using the transaction launch create wizard you can try using Component Set "ALL" to try and get to the transaction history of the opportunity
7) if component set "ALL" does not allow direct access to the transaction number you want - then modify the method PREPARE_DATA_FLOW of your Z class that you created in step 6 with the wizard; in method prepare_data_flow you will then have to read the opportunity object and history to get the transaction number you want. once you have the transaction number you then just need to move it into method parameter ICWEBCLIENTBORKEYPARAMETER.
you can check the standard class cl_crm_tl_erp_likp_display method prepare_data_flow for how erp-dlv-ov is accessing and setting transaction number from Clipboard.

I have a trouble when i Want to open a opportunity. I have done a Multi creation of opportunities with the BAPI_OPPORTUNITY_CREATEMULTI
Now when i go to CRMD_ORDER and I try to open one of these opportunities charged, i have the error: "Transaction with the transaction number 'xxxxxxxx' is not available or archived. Message no. CRM_ORDERADM_H012
If i try to open the transaction in UI i have the same error.

Hi,
In the SAP GUI, the Opportunity is retrieved through the One Order API - CRM_ORDER_READ. So, my guess is that, before the call is made to this Function Module, we have to append the Transaction ID field with a wild card character like *. As the underlying Data Element is a Character field, it will behave in Searching of a Character field. But, we have to check this approach.
I have a couple of doubts. Can you debug the CRM_ORDER_READ Function Module and have a look what exactly is getting filled in the field Transaction ID. As the Web Client UI uses the Search Framework, we can compare the behavior of retrieving the data.

I have a proper mailing list created as the manual says. It's a small group of contacts that exist in the address book. I do not type them as CC I just write "clients" and before I finish the word the name of the list appears.
How can I stop Avast from scanning out going mail? It's the free version and I haven't found a real solution. I also tried to totally turn off the "mail shield" but I kept facing the same issues. However, I just turned it off and tried to send the mail, I didn't restart windows or thunderbird
The idea with ipage server was fantastic! It would never come to my mind!!! As far as I see, the limit is 250 mails per hour. I doubt if I have ever reached the 50% of it. I also don't reach the bandwith limits... Besides that, if I had exceeded the limit I would get multi responses that "mail was not delivered".
I want to thank you both for your excellent help so far. I'm sad to say that I still haven't solved the issue. When I made smaller lists, with the same addresses chosen from the address book I could send the messages, having a short delay. I would blame Avast but I tried the same on another laptop with my favourite NOD32 and had the same problem.
What else should I check? Should I focus on Avast?

Getting Page Load Error while opening a Opportunity in new window

outbound SSO is enabled.
when i try to punch-in to my application from CRM through opportunity web link with Web Link Target as "open in custom tab" its working properly, but when i have Web Link Target as "open in new window" i am getting page load error. previously with out Outbounf SSO it is working properly.
Do i need enable any settings in CRM

when the web link target is "open in new window" or "open in current window" the request send to third party application from CRM ONDemand is HTTPS request as SSL is not enabled it is giving "page load error"(In the web link we are specifying http only) (User athentication type is "username & password/ SSO")

To confirm, your existing mail client isn't communicating with your existing and remote mail services at Dreamhost? Which mail client are you using (Apple mail?), and how is mail on the client set up?
It would initially seem that your client is still referencing the server, either for its inbound or outbound mail. (And I'm not sure how unplugging the server helps here, unless there's some sort of a configuration issue, or a duplicate network address or such.) This would usually be something within the configuration of the mail client.
The Mac OS X Server is significantly easier than the many other servers and server operating systems I've dealt with over the years, but it requires reading the manuals and/or some knowledge of networking and of server environments.
Small shops and home folks without the time or inclination to "spin up" on these server areas can be well-served with some help initially configuring the server. Servers are different from clients. Stuff that you're implicitly used to using when you're running a client -- the DHCP server, for instance -- are what the servers provide you with.
As for Mac OS X Server and particularly if you head outside of the default settings and sequences and off into the customizations, which is what has happened here, you might want to engage some assistance. Not just for the direct and obvious initial set-up sequence, but also for getting you set-up and started with backups and other such tasks. Before you get too deep in here and get too much underway and too much saved on your disks, do seriously consider getting somebody in to help set this box up for you.
Mac OS X Server is not "no IT", but it is rather closer to "less IT" than most. Particularly once you get it configured and running.

I want to open a new browser window and display the html file in local drive. The below html applet work in local system successfully. But i deploy the same in web server (Tomcat) and try the same in client machine it does not work. Please help.

The best audience for applets is people off the internet. 'People off the internet' might be using a computer that has no (what was it?) 'open.html' in the root of the C: drive. In fact (shock horror) they may not even be running Windows, and would therefore probably have no 'C:' drive at all.
If you do not intend to distribute this to people off the web, an application makes a lot more sense, but even then, you cannot rely on the document being there unless you 'put it there' (during installation, for instance).
As the other poster intimated, applets can load documents off the local disk as long as they are trusted. Here is an example*, but note that it is not so rash as to presume any particular path or file, and instead leaves it to the user to choose the document to display.

I am pretty sure showDocument() in an applet off the internet will work with an URL pointing to a foreign (not its own) server, but it will not be able to load documents off the end user's local disks.
I suggest a couple of things.
- Try to express this problem in terms of what feature it is that you want to offer the end user. Your question jumps directly to a bad strategy for achieving ..who knows what? An example of a feature is "Shows the applet 'help' files on pressing F1".
- A good way to indicate interest in a solution is to offer [Duke stars|http://wikis.sun.com/display/SunForums/Duke+Stars+Program+Overview] to match that interest.

I am unable to open files on amything!!! a box pops up that asks me what do i want to open the file with..every time!! I want files to open when i click on them!! This happens with emails, websites, everything

I try to open attachments in emails and they will not open! A box comes up asking 'what do I want to open the file with', and it wants me to select from a list of options like - Firefox, IE, Word, Yahoo Browser. When I make a selection (usually Firefox) a new tab opens with a blank page! This always happens on attachments, links, websites......everything!

These files were lost two years ago.
That's not consistent with what you wrote in your first message. I can't help you unless I know what's going on. Either you do, or do not, have backups of all the data you want to keep. If you do not, then the first thing you need to do is back up those files. It makes zero sense to do anything else. In order to back up, you'll need either of two things: another Mac, in working order, with a FireWire port and enough space on its internal drive to hold your files; or an external drive, also with enough space.
On the other hand, if you do have backups, or if you simply don't care about any of the data, then the solution to your problem may be quite simple. All you have to do is boot from your installation disc (your profile says you're running Mac OS 10.5), erase your internal drive, reinstall the Mac OS, then restore your data from backup. You will need to be selective in restoring software, because incompatible software may be what caused the issue.
But it's also possible that you have a hardware failure, in which case you can't get your computer working again until it's repaired.

Since projects are now stored in events and events are stored in libraries, you need to create a new l;bray on that different drive or open an existing library on that drive. Then duplicate your project and move it to the new library. It will copy the media. Then use the Consolidate Project File command to round up any external assets; there may or may not be any.

Open Word Document from ITS

Hey,
i want to open a Word Document "write protected" via ITS, until now I used the FM ALEWEB_DOWNLOAD". The combination of GUI_DOWNLOAD and WS_EXECUTE works, but the document is opened in the "normal" mode and before the word application opens I get a popup requester window.
I would like to reach the Word application on the client by OLE2 but i don't know how this works through the ITS?
Has anybody experience with this problem?

unfortunetaly I get an exception. But I'm not sure if my question was clear enough.
I want to open an application on a client through the web browser.
I use generated SAP WEB GUI screens which look like the SAP GUI. A double click on the result list in the web browser should open an application (word) on the client and display a document.
This works so far with the function module 'ALEWEB_DOWNLOAD' but causes some other problems, thats why I'm trying to find an alternative.
I think that using the class 'cl_gui_frontend_services' the server looks for the application on the ITS and not on the client. But I'm not sure at all.

Problem with opening a file in its application using Runtime

excuse me for my ignorance, but I am facing a problem and I would really
appreciate some help. I am working on a java program in which I want the user
to have the ability to save the contents of a JTable into a file of his preference (the file could be of any type i.e xls, txt, doc...) and then open this file in its
default application (i.e the txt file through notepad, the xls file through excel etc..).
Everything works fine with the code below, if the filePath does not contain blank spaces. I did some search on the forun and the web, and also tried to
find a solution through the great link

Want to open jsp in a new window

I'm using JSPDyanPage. I've a search iview. In search.jsp if the user clicks on "Search button" then
after firing database qry in the Java file, the control
comes back to search.jsp. And onload of this jsp I want
open result.jsp in a new window.
Any idea how to implement this. Will the bean be available in the new popup window. In search.jsp I tried to open result.jsp by writing javascript
window.open("result.jsp");
But its giving me error: iView not found: result.jsp
Any help will be highly appreciated.

Hi Dhiman,
the most simple thing would be to react on client side within search.jsp (not directly on server side) on the "Search" button. The client side should call some JS, which reads the search term from the input field and calls your component within a new window (by window.open("</irj/.../portalappname.portalcomponentname>"> or by EPCM.doNavigate, this would be calling the iView instead of directly calling the component implementation, with parameters to open the destination in a new window.
You would pass the search string as url parameter, so no bean problems here. After calling this JS, you would stop the server roundtrip for search.jsp.

Photo elements wants to open last used dir location. When it doesn't exist or cannot access, it fails to open. How do you set the default file location?

I did a test as you suggested - open an image on a removable drive, close the editor and took the removable offline. When I next went to the editor, it opened OK.
From the screen shot in message #5 above, I think that the fault is with SolidWorks. I am not familiar with that product but it seems to be a form of asset management and it can't open its database - is that on the removable?
Normally, the editor does not open any files when it loads except for it program files and any addins. Could SolidWorks be an addin?
See if this works to reset the preferences.

Hold down the Ctrl, Shift & Alt keys when you double click on the shortcut. Keep the keys held down and eventually a message box will pop up asking if you want to reset the preferences - you do.

In Aug I upgraded to Photoshop Elements 12. It worked fine but this week someone worked on my PC and deleted it by accident. Now I downloaded it again but it doesn't want to open?

find any right clicks in that maneuver. Have you tried...
1. Select the Elements Organizer 12 thumbnail for the photo
2. Look to the bottom of the workspace to where it shows an Editor button. Click on the tiny triangle to the right of the work Editor in the button.
You should then get a pop up menu with choices of External Editor, Photoshop, Video Editor. click Photoshop. Does that work to get
you into the Photoshop Elements 12 Editor workspace to edit that photo?

You can also process your Raw with a 3rd Party app like ACR or Photoshop. But iPhoto does not handle this gracefully and it's a bit of a kludge.
First off set your preferred app as an external editor in iPhoto:
Next: In the iPhoto Preferences -> Advanced, elect to use Raw with your External editor:
Now when you go to edit the Raw it will be sent to your external editor.
Now for the kludge:
You cannot save a Raw. The work you do must be output to a new file, in a new format (jepg, tiff, whatever). However, as the External Editor is making this new file iPhoto has no knowledge of its existence. Therefore you must save it to the desktop and then import it back to iPhoto as a new file.
This means that you will have your Original Raw and the processed version in iPhoto but they will not be recognised as version and original. iPhoto will see them as two separate shots.
