I want use 0SEM_BCS_10 info cube for our BCS in BI. We have an R/3 ECC 6.0 with Appl Support Patch 15.
We have not implemented the NEW GL functionality in OUR R/3 system. We have done only Technicahal Upgradation fron 4.7 to ECC 6.0 last year.
My question is, that can i Use this '0SEM_BCS_10' infocube . If yes that, please povide some details

Did you means that you use the Windows Azure Virtual Machine DNS name as the server name in the Reporting Server Web Services URL?
For example:

He keeps telling me that , there is no way for us both to have it. So, since his Apple ID was the one programmed into our Apple TV's he has custody to everything. I know there has to be a solution for this, because I can't be the be the only person this has ever happened too!

Anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID.

Also we are having Mac book pro's (Late 2009 & 2010) after upgrading them to 10.8.5. Unable to launch the mac, getting only white screen with apple icon.
Let me know is there any specific Hardware (Graphic Cards) we need to use for the same.

Joining tables to be used in info cube

I have 2 tables - both stored in DSO's. They have one id in common. I thus want to join the tables with this id so that it forms one big table (with more columns). Then I want to transform this table into an infocube so I can design queries on it. I thought the best way would be if I create a infoset (linking the similar id's) and then send the result to an infocube. Thus I thought the infoset did this basic join for me. But it is giving me errors such as "parameter (specific currency key to my application) is not used", after linking that currency key to the target. Any help on why this isn't working smoothly or is there perhaps a more simple way to do joins.
I do want to join the tables, because if I send these tables seperately to the cube and I use a id (other than primary id) it splits up the data instead of seeing it as one line with more attributes

Ok good. Let's call it table 1 and table 2. Table 1 being the DSO being transformed oldschool.
I am not sure what your sequence of events is.
I see 2 scenarios. 1. You add data to one table before transforming to cube. 2. You add data from table 2 directly into cube.
If it is scenario 1.
In your suggested SQL code. You say SELECT into <myworkarea>. Where is this workarea? Because this is a start routine it will grab my data and I want to add it to table 1 before being transformed. So is this <myworkarea> table 1. Or what? Where do you then specify the transformation rules for the extra coloumns (attributes) that comes from table 2.
If it scenario 2.
If table 2 data should directly go into cube, shouldn't you know a bit more about how data is stored in the cube. Because you need to assign it to a table right?

We are using the following scenario: -
Info cube = Sales Order Line level information (yes, we want to capture the product level sales order information in info cube for our internal reporting purpose)
ODS = NO. we are not using the same
Info Source Same as data source (standard one)
Data Source 2LIS_11_VAITM (standard business content data source for sales order information)
Delta in above data source = contract related information (5 extra fields) working fine added as append structure in the data source
Extractor = Standard using SBIW - Perform setup - SD Sales Order (SD 11)
Number of Sales order line records / month = 80,000
Historical Sales order data to be uploaded = 1 year = 80,000 * 12 = Nearly 1 Million records
Hardware Configuration = 4 * 750 MHZ, 8 GB RAM
Please advice on the following things: -
1) How long it will take to upload 1 million records in BW?
2) Does our server capacity sufficient enough to take 1 million load?
3) Which delta procedure should we follow for day to day Sales Order line level data updation? Please advice on data selection procedure.
4) In case, last month Sales Order is changed, how to reflect the same in our info cube? Please suggest the suitable method.

1) How long it will take to upload 1 million records in BW?
This depends on your network, on the width of your data record, the performance of your machine, on the settings for communication between BW and R/3 ....
It can be done in 2 hours, in 3 hours, it can take a whole day. There is no exact answer possible.
2) Does our server capacity sufficient enough to take 1 million load?
If your disc space is enough, no problem. If you already loaded your master data, there is not too much space necessary to load the transactional data.
3) Which delta procedure should we follow for day to day Sales Order line level data updation? Please advice on data selection procedure.
Just run your initial setup and initialize your delta. Run a daily delta package (this is what most companies do).
4) In case, last month Sales Order is changed, how to reflect the same in our info cube? Please suggest the suitable method.
The extractor takes care about this, just post the delta to your cube, that's it.

How to use Purch. Info Record, for different Valuation Types ?

While doing Split Valuation,
I have created three valuation types - say, M1,M2,M3. for material M.
Now, I want to create Info record for material M and Vendor V1.
when i go to me11, system is allowing me to create info record for M and V1 once only,
in Purchasing Organization View, I'm getting the Valuation type field,
but can't entering 3 prices for 3 valuation types,
such as in Material Master.
Can any one help me regarding this....

if u create po with info update indicator then u can use your valuatiion type in po for whihc there is no ifo recrod existing then system willl createt one
but actually the price will get stored in the price oder history not exactly in the pir

Info Cube doesn't show-up for selection on authorization profile?

I would like to allow limited number of queries for a report user based on info cube using auth role. Steps I am using:
PFCG
Tab: Authorization
Maintain Authorization data and Generate Profile
Click "Change Authorization Data" to go to Change Role: Authorizations
Expand Business Information Warehouse
Expand Business Explorer - components
Click Pencil for Info Cube to select the info cube for full authorization for info cube queries
- It displayed the selection "from" "to" list for info cube.
I wouldn't able to find my info cube "zsdc_c01", but I would to see all SAP delivered info cube.
Any idea what setting should I set to see my info cube here so that I can select this info cube to give access to users for all queries build on this info cube using the role I created?
I would appreciate any input.

Subcontracting Info record for Same Vendor which is used in Purchasing vendor

Hi Gurus,
When we want to create info record for both standard and sub contract with one single vendor., system is not creating a separate info record.
It is considering the same Info record for all the options. This triggers error - Info record price does not match.

Yes.. That's correct. System will just update the same info record number.. But you should not face any problem for price fetching...
System will work properly for standard PO and subcontracting PO..
System will compare the item category of info record and PO line item, as per this comparison, system will pick the price from info record..
You can see in the above screen shot the value 3 indicates that it is for subcontracting PO.
Standard PO :
I am just changing the item category from blank to L.
