I changed my email address, which in turn, changed my Apple ID. I changed the settings of my iPad and things were fine for me, but my husband shares a few apps with me and isn't able to update or use any of those apps now. The change doesn't work for him.

Is there anyway that both husband and I can change the setting so we can access the apps we have already purchased?

You have to be signed into the correct Apple ID in order to download those purchases again for free.
Settings>iTunes & App Store. Tap the old ID and sign out, then sign in with the new/changed ID.

I accidentally changed the view in the mozilla window border and now i can't find how to get it back the way it was.

Did you hide toolbars?

My battery drained for less than 24 hours and now won't work, is it totally dead?

My battery was low (12%) and I put it to sleep and did not plug it in for only 24 hours as I had forgotten my power cord. It now says "Not Charging" and the green light will not turn red (I have had it plugged in for over 2 hours). I have removed the battery several times and reset the SMC several times as well. I am wondering if the battery is completely dead or if there is something that can be done. it is not under warranty and I cannot get to the genius bar until next week so i was just hoping someone could help, especially since it says "Condition: normal". Hello. Today I used Apple's Support Chat to clear up some confusion that I had. The staff member I chatted with was extremely helpful and walked me through the steps needed to address my problem. After the chat ended, I was directed to a survey of my experience (which I filled out). I was told that I would be sent a transcript of the chat, but have not yet received one. How long does this usually take?
The staff member provided useful links in the chat, and I was hoping to review it so that I can follow the links to the products I need. Is there a way to look up old chats or request a transcript? I have the case serial number, but when I look it up it does not display the conversation that I had. I thought that after I filled out the survey that it would bring me back to the conversation to look over, but it did not. I created a Support Profile hoping to find the transcript but had no luck. Now I am not sure what to do because I cannot recall all of the steps that were suggested.
Please help! Thank you in advance.

The staff member I spoke with was able to review my old chat and gave me the information I needed from it. She also e-mailed me the transcript of our chat, which the first person I talked to did not do. She said that one can request previous chat transcripts by going here,

selecting "privacy issues," and filling out the form. It would probably be faster to chat online with Apple Support like I did, but this is just another way to receive a transcript if you were not e-mailed one or accidentally deleted it.

The only way I know of is to copy the entire content of your chat window (while it is still active) and then paste it into a text document (or, if it is short enough to fit the window without scrolling, take a screenshot). Once you terminate the chat, the record is gone (as far as I know).

After going through the issues with apple support, they decided the best course of action was to erase the hard drive and do a reinstall. Since I have a recent backup this seemed like a good enough option. They were kind enough to send me a copy of the snow leopard disk to do the install since we couldn't get it to complete through the disk utility. Not sure why, since it says we are fully connected, it just never completed.
Anyway, so now that you have the background here is the new issue. The macbook pro keeps spitting out the disk I'm trying to install from. Disk utility and using the 'Startup Disk' function from the apple menu doesn't read the disk.
Can anyone suggest a solution to this vexing problem?

Mac OS X 10.9.2 was released today for this issue and others. Earlier versions are not affected.

Archiso-live with slax support

I found a way to make archiso scripts work like the old arch-live. By mounting the slax ext2 initrd has root filesystem. The idea is that archiso-live will be like the older arch-live based on slax but will have the archlinux kernel instead of slax kernel.
I couldn't do this before cause the linux-live scripts would not load right in initramfs with archlinux kernel cause of missing kernel modules that would have been build in kernel with slax kernel.
I got the system working by making a aufs union with /tmpfs/initrd and /real_root folder. Anyway i think i will share the code for you to understand:

Right the moment its a ext2 filesystem of initrd on the livecd. I plan on changing it to squashfs so we can save 6mb or so. I copy the kernel modules cause i don't want anything missing even though its mostly has everything the linux-live scripts. Just don't want risk crashing the system with out some module that was build slax but not in archlinux.
Anyways i hope this helps with the development of archiso.
EDIT: Fix a typo. tmpfs can only understand M not MB for size.
