I am trying to update my ipad mini to ios7 the update says its downloading but nothing is happening what can I do?
Reset iPad and continue with update.
Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears
Note: Data will not be affected. -
my ipod touch wont turn on ive tried restoring it but every time i do it just says its waiting for the ipod to respond. meanwhile my ipod is no longer a black screen but the apple logo with a loading bar underneath that after leaving for 8 hours hasnt moved.
Try:
- Another cable
- Another USB port
- Reboot the computer
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

I have the ipad 4th generation. I tried installing the latest version and the screen came up with the arrow and itunes sign. Im pretty sure I have the latest version of itunes. After I tried restoring it on my coumpter it now has an apple logo staying on the screen.
That would be the indication of Recovery Mode. You can try instructions from this support document. If you can't update or restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
If you attempt it a couple of times and it does not complete, then make an appointment at the Genius Bar of the nearest Apple Store, or Apple Service Provider to check for hardware problems. -

On the apple icon when I click on preferences nothing comes up, what can I do?
can no longer get Preferences to come up when I am on the Apple Icon but it does show up under the Safari icon what is going on and now I can not dwn load or burn picture to a dvd what am I doing wrong???
The System Preferences icon next to the Safari icon is an alias that allows you to launch System Preferences from your Dock.
Not sure what that has to do with burning a picture to a DVD.
Open a new Finder window. From the menu bar click File / New Burn Folder.
Drag your pictures to that folder.
Now from the menu bar click File / Burn Folder.fpbf
Make sure and insert a blank CD into the optical drive. -
I updated the new OS7.2 version, and now my iPad doesn't work at all.
I updated my iPad with OS7.2 version, and now my iPad is not working at all. The screen had a frozen iTunes icon with the diagram of the charging cord. I can't turn it on or off. What do I do?
You need to start iTunes on your computer and connect the iPad to the computer. Tis will allow you to go through the restore process. Be sure to update iTunes to version 11.1 before connecting your iPad.

My mac doesnt start. All i get is the gray screen with the apple and the loading icon but nothing more happens. I tried to start it in safe mode but it doesnt help. What can i do?
If you have a external USB enclosure - trying installing your hard drive in that enclosure and connect it to your usb port - restart your macbook while holding down the options key. If you Macbook boots to your desktop then you have a faulty cable. If you get the same error, then your hard drive just died on you.
good luck. -
I tried updating my iPod touch to the newest update. But my iPod was unable to complete the update. Now my iPod doesn't turn on completely. The apple logo appears but then the screen goes blank. I've tried charging it, letting it discharge, I've tried things I found on the internet but nothing seems to be working. What can I do?

ADE is trying to open but is saying loading library but nothing is happening.
I have downloaded hundreds of books onto my laptop Windows XP. Everything was fine but I started putting them into the library and now ADE is trying to open but is saying loading library but nothing is happening. How can I restore, delete or sort it out? Have I overloaded the Library?

Hey there MP1201,
It sounds like you would like to reset your iPod Touch to factory settings but the Erase All Content and Settings function is not working. I would next try using iTunes to restore the iPod with this article:
