In any case many states (like NY) just passed regulatory powers to the State Public Service Commission of which it may be called something different in your state. You could file a complaint with them. Or file a complaint with your state attorney generals office, they also take on wireless providers.
The problem here is the staff you speak to are poorly trained, in days gone by it took one call to them and they pulled up your account and see the error and had the authority to remove any errors. They did not remove legitimate account actions, but used their heads instead of putting a customer off or worse lying to the customer.
Its a shame you have to go through what you going through.

I'm sorry to read that you are having issues with your Sync account.
Your best bet is to follow the steps described in this blogposts and open a bug:

After that, if you don't want to user Sync in your computer, you can stop it with this simple steps:
* At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button (Tools menu in Windows XP) and then click Options.
* Once the options window opens, click on the Sync tab.
* At the bottom of the Sync tab click on '''Deactivate this Device''' link -

Ipad2 came without messages app. Please help me in figuring out why! :)
What version of iOS have you get (Settings > General > About > Version) ? Messages was introduced with iOS 5, so if you aren't on that then you can update to it and you should get the Messages app.
Connect the iPad to your computer's iTnnes and copy any purchases off the iPad via File > Transfer Purchases (you may also want to copy photos off the iPad as well) and then force a backup of the iPad by right-clicking the iPad 'Device' on the left-hand side of iTunes and selecting 'Backup'. You may also want to copy off the iPad any important documents, notes, files etc e.g. via the file sharing section at the bottom of the device's apps tab when connected to iTunes, via wifi, email, dropbox etc - they should be included in the backup, but it's best to have a copy of them outside of the backup just in case.
You can then start the update by selecting the iPad on the left-hand side of iTunes, and on the Summary tab on the right-hand side clicking the Check For Updates button.

What kind of card is it ? If it's a debit card then I don't think that they are still accepted as a valid payment method - they are not listed on this page and there have been a number of posts recently about them being declined
If it's a credit card then is it registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, it was issued by a bank in your country and you are currently in that country ? I've tried several times to clear my search history without any success. I've been able to do so in the past, but this is the first time I've tried in a while and for some reason it will not let me check the box for "Form and Search History." Then sometimes it will let me check that box, but when I click "ok" to apply the clearing of the search history, nothing happens and it still remembers all my sites. At that point I try to clear it again and its back to not letting me check the "Form and Search history" box (I've gone through this cycle a few times). I tried looking through some of suggested articles that Firefox sent me too, but I don't know much about computers and just doing the things they seem talking about isn't working either. Please help, thanks!

My wife and I have separate AppleID accounts. Ever since she updated to the iPhone 5c, for some reason when she tries to update her apps, it comes up with my AppleID and asks for my password. I cannot figure out why this happening and how to fix this. Please help!
I have had this issue lately.
I can only put it down to using the one computer to update all our IPads for me and my wife.
Some of our apps, although downloaded from both our seperate accounts on our IPads, are the same.
However after plugging her IPad into the computer when my AppleID is on ITunes, I think something strange has happened and when she then tries to update Apps on her IPad and I try on mine it now asks for the others Apple ID password.
The only way I have found to counteract this is to update an app one at a time, if that app asks for your wifes password then delete it and then reinstall it.
That has solved it for me.

Color in fcp7 changes to crushed blacks and warm skin tones for some reason
So I have a MBP Retina, 2.6 GHZ, 16GB memory, 512 SSD. I have two external displays LG IPS LED ones connected via hdmi. For some strange reason, when I perform a given function or just randomly the color of my video becomes highly contrasted, and warm. When I first begin my project everything looks great, but say for example I go to Window>Arrange>Standard, the windows will orgainze themsleves as usual, but then the color will become drastically crushed (see before and after photos below) The image becomes heavily contrasted as well as very warm in the red spectrum. When I disconnect the monitor to see if it is an issue of the external display and just view FCP on my laptop, the images remain the same, crushed blacks and warm/redish skin tones. But everything looks fine, if I close the program, disconnect the external displays and then recconnect them again and open FCP 7 again. It will NOT do this if I stay on my laptop only, seems to only do it when I have either one or two external displays attached.
Not sure if anyone has come accross this yet, any clues? The first photo is how it normally looks, the second is with the strange color annomily.In FCP, go to the menu Final Cut Pro > System Settings and click on the Playback Control Tab.
Make sure the Gamma Correction is set to Approximate:

I opened a family iCloud sharing account recently, at first I was able to share photos but now all I can do is receive photos and comments. I currently have the iPhone 6 updated to the current version. Is there something wrong with my phon? I restarted it as well as checked all of my connections the wifi is fine, but all I can do is recieive photos and comments. What could possibly be wrong?
1. You did not get an error message telling you that your iPhoto library was getting full. You got a message telling you that your HD was getting full, right?
OS X needs about 10 gigs of hard drive space for normal OS operations - things like virtual memory, temporary files and so on.
Without this space your Mac will slow down as the OS hunts for space on the disk, files will be fragmented, also slowing things down, apps will crash and the risk of data corruption - that is damage to your files, photos, music - increases exponentially.
Your first priority is to make more space on that HD. Nothing else can be done until you do.
Purchase an external HD and move your Photos and Music to it. Both iPhoto and iTunes can run perfectly well with the Library on an external disk.
Your Library has been damaged from being run on an overfull disk.
How much free space on it now? -
I just dont understand icloud I guess. I can't wrap my mind around this one. Once I back up all my data to icloud what do I do with the data on my phone as far as pictures,music ,mail etc. I have an ipad, mac and an iphone. Love them all just cant get this one. I bought forty dollars worth of extra memorey for this as I trhought that was my problem. It is still sitting there not used waiting to expire ...Please help and thank you for your time
Do not delete anything from your devices, if you do it will be deleted from the cloud.
Think of the cloud as the master copy for data you keep synced between devices. -
Locating souce file error? and purchase history deleted for some reason?
I have purchased serveral albums (nearly $500 estimated), and since I upgraded my computer, I cannot find the purchase history. I wanted to re-download the songs from a certain artist as it keeps coming up 'error, unable to locate source file' even though they worked before I tried to copy them into a playlist for burning.have severa
After I got the new computer, all of my stuff was transferred from the old one. This meant that I had several of the same song in my list before the update. After the update happened, these duplicates dissappeared, and I was left with trying to re-download the albums that I had bought from iTunes store from the cloud.
I had confirmation of one album being downloaded correctly, the rest need to be re-downloaded. Unfortunatley, as I cannot access my purchasing history, I am unable to download the rest from the cloud.
The support network wants a serial number and the only apple product I have is my shuffle. When I give the serial number for my shuffle, it then wants $20 in order to troubleshoot my problem over the phone.
The customer support is terrible, confusing, and they want you to PAY for help for problems in THEIR PRODUCT, which was bought under the understanding that it would be problem-free.
Anyone else see the problem with this?

Had to go through my internet browser in order to restore my purchasing history in iTunes.
Now I have to re-delete the duplicate songs in my list again.....
My songs from a certain artist still come up 'error unable to locate source file'.

Help! I updated iTunes on my windows 7 laptop and I updated my iOS on my iphone4 and I used a USB to plug it into my computer but it doesn't have the "iPhone"" icon appear in the corner of the screen. Ever since I upgraded my ipad mini and my hp photosmart 5520 printer it seem my ipad mini can't find my printer to print anything ,didn't have this problem till I upgraded both items how can I fix it
I have answered my own question I turned off both my ipad and printer and then started both again and it still didn't work so I rebooted my internet modem and then everything worked again so maybe it will work for others as well
