ICal Error Message 403 (iCloud)

Hi Apple Users!
After giving my girlfriend access to my calenders via iCloud I get the Error Message 403. (I also got now acces to her calender.)
"The Access to the account "iCloud" is not allowed
Answer of the servers:
"403"
to process CalDAVSetPropertyQueueableOperation"
(I translated it into english, the original message is shown in german)
"Der Zugriff auf Account „iCloud“ ist nicht gestattet.
Antwort des Servers:
„403“
an Vorgang CalDAVSetPropertyQueueableOperation"
On both iPhones 4S (iOS 5.0) the calender are shown and updated correclty. Only in iCal I get the error message.
Can someone help me please?
In advance I thank you.
Yours sincerely,
Marc

Sorry reading your error in more detail I get the feeling our errors are not exactly the same.
I do not have access to my colleagues iCloud account.
This started when I tried to import two recent meeting invitations I recieved by e-mail to my iCal.
The error message was identical to yours:
The server responded:
“403”
to operation CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation.
The result being I was unable to import the meeting.
If I create a new invitation in iCal directly I have no problem.  And up until today I have not had any problems importing invitations from this person or anyone else using Microsoft Outlook.

iCloud's Calendar is full of errors and problems for me.  The "Couldn't move your calendars to iCloud because an error occurred" is now gone (by itself) but nothing syncs between my Mac's Calendar to iCloud or my iPhone to iCloud.
I tried creating a new event directly on iCloud.com to see whether it pushes to any of my device and  got this "This event couldn't be created because of a server error; please try again." error.
    Apple, please fix this!!

  • Just started MobileMe.  Struggled with the setup of iCal but eventually got everything working fine for about a day.  Then I started receiving an iCal error message stating that the URL was wrong.  Of course, sync no longer works.  What is correct URL?

Just signed up for MobileMe.  Had a little difficulty setting up iCal but eventually got everything working.  Whether posting to iCal on my Mac Book or iPhone, sync seemed to be working fine for about a day.  Then suddenly when I opened iCal on my Mac Book, I would receive the following iCal error message:
"The calendar https://cal.me.com/calendar/calendar/principals/users/1.1117025442/ was not found on the server. Make sure the URL is correct."  I know where it is located but because I did not enter the URL when I set up MobileMe/iCal, I don't know what the correct URL should be.

This is because Chrome does not use Adobe Flash Player. Chrome uses something called Pepper Flash, maintained by Google (not Adobe). The issues you are experiencing are Adobe Flash Player issues. You should be able to get assistance with these issues [https://forums.adobe.com/community/flashplayer/using_flashplayer on the Adobe forums].

If one is downloading directly to the iPhone via WiFi, it doesn't matter what version of iTunes is on the computer.
I decided to sync my phone to Outlook via iTunes.  First thing, iTunes discovered that 7.0.3 was not on my phone.  It asked if i wanted to install it.  I said, "yes", and VOILA!! 7.0.3 is now installed on my iPhone.
So therein is the answer.  Have no idea what bug is in there to keep it from loading to some phones directly via WiFi, but obviously, it is something!!
There is no bug.  While you can update your iOS via wi-fi, it's recommended to do so via USB & iTunes.  Depending on your wi-fi connection & singal strength, you can get errors.  That's not a function specifically of the device.

I can't download Maverick, get error message "403 forbidden"-mid 2010, 8Gb ram, 466Gb useable HD- what is the matter?

How are you trying to download Mavericks? From a Recovery HD system, drive, boot USB or from the Mac App Store once you are logged into the version of OS X that is presently installed on your Mac?

  • Error messages w/ iCloud

I keep getting an error message from iCloud saying, "URLs with the type "file:" are not supported." What's going on? I've only been using iCloud and the new Mac OS for a week. Thanks in advance.

It doesn't sound as if this has anything to do with iCloud, but basically whatever you are doing, you're trying to make use of a file which is living either on your Mac or on someone else's Mac or PC, and is thus not available over the internet and so can't be opened.
If, for example, you had a page called 'fred.html' on your Mac and you opened it in Safari, the URL displayed would be something like
    file:///Users/username/Sites/fred.html
You sometimes get people posting this type of URL in a web page, thinking that it's a useful URL, but of course it only works for them.

  • ICal error message "HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden" but still syncing via mobileme.

here is the screenshot ......http://gallery.me.com/joyseeker/100217/Screen-20shot-202010-07-15-20at-2011-59-4 5/web.jpg?ver=12791918490001
My problem must have started last week when I did a restore on the iPhone to see if its speed would improve. I noticed this week events added to the iPhone calendar were not updating the Mac and vica versa via Mobileme.
I realised then I had to switch on Mobileme syncing on the iPhone. Bingo syncing works again but now I get this popup error message regularly.
What am I not doing or enabling kind sirs?

I get the same error, when I am importing a calendar into MobileMe (via CalDAV) with items that have alarms more than 7 days out. The calendar I am trying to import is 37 MB in size and goes back to 1999 (it started life on a Palm III).
My solution, which is very time consuming, when this error occurs is to
    1. change the alarm lead time to less than seven days,
    2. re-export the calendar to an ICS file,
    3. disconnect iCal from MobileMe (Preferences->Accounts->"-"),
    4. delete the old destination calendar on www.me.com,
    5. create a new, empty calendar on www.me.com,
    6. reconnect to the MobileMe calendar in iCal (Preferences->Accounts->"+"), and
    7. import the ICS file into the empty MobileMe calendar.
It's a real pain! I really do wish, Apple would fix the issue very soon. During a chat with a MobileMe support agent I was informed that Apple was working on the CalDAVWriteEntityQueueableOperation, although she didn't offer any details and didn't appear to be aware of a connection with the length of alarm lead times.
