Ican't login on my server

I have make a mistake with the installation of the server software on a mac mini now a can not login. wrong name ore password.
booting from the instalatin cd, starting up with holding the C button will not work, also i can not starting up with holding the option key.
wat can i do?
Anton Groeneschey

Common bootstrap choices:
Pressing the C key during boot triggers a DVD boot and would generally require media having been created locally or an older (10.6.8 or earlier) bootable distro DVD from Apple, and a functional optical drive.
⌥ triggers a bootstrap chooser (used when there are multiple bootable disks present)
⌘R is a recovery boot.
If you're looking to reinstall and have the recovery partition, then ⌘R would be typical.
If you want to try that DVD, then the optical drive is a common failure and booting from an external USB DVD drive will usually work, whether it's an Apple SuperDrive or a third-party USB DVD drive.
If you don't have a recovery partition and don't have a USB DVD drive, then you'll either need to create a bootable partition on another disk or locate an installer, or use a FireWire (if this is a Mac Pro) or Thunderbolt connection and cable and another Mac to wipe and reinstall, or use an Internet network boot.  You'd use FireWire if the system you're having trouble with is a Mac Pro.   AFAIK, Mac Pro does not support the Internet network boot.
If you're comfortable using the command line, there's a way to create a USB installer using a command-line tool, and here's an example.

  • Problem Login to Weblogic Server and Enterprise Manager Page

    Hi master and guru,
I have installed WebLogic 10.3.5, SOA 11.1.1.5.0 and OIM 11.1.1.5.0 in production server.
But when trying to login to Weblogic Server page (http:\\<host>:7001\console), failed without error.
And when trying to login to Enterprise Manager page (http:\\<host>:7001\em), failed also.

    Hi
    Try to increase socket limits
Normally you can do this within the admin console , Servers -> Configuration -> Tuning -> Socket Readers
For you, since you can't login, set the ThreadPoolPercentSocketReaders in the config.xml to a higher value than 5
    kind regards
    Michel

I install Active Directory Domain Controller on Windows server 2008 enterprise and dont login on Sql Server 2008 R2. Before install ADDC, I have logon SQL Server 2008r2 Success, After when i install ADDC is don't logon on SQL Server 2008r2 -->not success.
I have uninstalled ADDC but i still can't login on SQL server 2008r2.
please help me. it  is very very disaster!
I think is loss account SQL server 2008r2!

    Hello,
I stronly recommend you post the detail error message to us while you try to connect to SQL Server instance, it's useful for us to do further investigation.
Microsoft recommends that you do not install SQL Server 2008 R2 on a domain controller, there are some limitations:
You cannot run SQL Server services on a domain controller under a local service account or a network service account.
After SQL Server is installed on a computer, you cannot change the computer from a domain member to a domain controller. You must uninstall SQL Server before you change the host computer to a domain controller.
After SQL Server is installed on a computer, you cannot change the computer from a domain controller to a domain member. You must uninstall SQL Server before you change the host computer to a domain member.
SQL Server failover cluster instances are not supported where cluster nodes are domain controllers.
SQL Server Setup cannot create security groups or provision SQL Server service accounts on a read-only domain controller. In this scenario, Setup will fail.
On Windows Server 2003, SQL Server services can run under a domain account or a local system account.
So, I would suggest you try to open up Windows Services list and changed the account for SQL Server service.

  • R12 Login: 500 Internal Server Error in Windows 7

I have successfully installed R12 on my VMWare Linux guest. I'm able to login and perform the needed operations in R12 on windows XP laptop.
However, when I try the same in Windows 7 (my installation is portable..thanks to external harddrive and VMWare), I get this error at the login: 500 Internal Server Error on IE 8 browser. I tried firefox..that did not help.
My inital troubleshooting lead me to networking options in VMWare. But I can ping with both host name and ip address.
I looked at the application services through this script: $ADMIN_SCRIPTS_HOME/adopmnctl.sh status
    All application services are alive.
I tried disabling firewall and added web link to trusted site list. Even this did not help.
So far...agony continues. Just wondering if anyone had similar issue like this.
    1. Host is Windows 7 Home Premium
    2. VMWare Server 2.1
    3. OEL 5.5 Linux Guest
    4. Tried with different networking options "Bridged and Host Only" ofcourse NAT option - could not even ping.
Appreciate your time responding to this. Thanks

    Thanks Hussein for your response.
Do you have proper entry in the hosts file?I do have the correct entries in both host and guest OS. As I mentioned, I'm able to ping in command prompt both linux guest (DNS) name and ip address. It is just the login page load. It could be not just R12...may be any other web page as well...
I don;t know how these DNS Server name is resolved and so on..this networking stuff in windows 7...it may be irrelevant to this forum...but chancing my luck if someone had this issue in the past.
I believe the main issue with the ping, so once this is fixed you should be able to access the application (assuming it is up and you can access from other machine -- If I understand you correctly, I believe you did from XP).Yes..the same config works fine in XP.

When I'm adding new login in SQL server it searches and gives the available AD groups in my domain in the Checknames box. Anyone knows what is the SP called when it searches the Group names from the domain?

If you want to know what commands SSMS are emitting to SQL Server, you can use Profiler to find out.

  • End user login to CI server

    Hello,
In R/3 landscape there are 4 Application servers  and CI Cluster (2 separate servers) and DB Cluster (2 separate servers)
In one of the CI Server,  Message server and Enrique server  is running.   (allocated virtual IPs for this  MSG server & ENQ server)
(End user will connect to the message server)
So when a request comes to message server, it will direct the request to one of the Application servers.
So according to the setup, all the users should reside in the Application servers. End- users are not allowed to login to CI server.
Only BASIS admins can login to this.
But when checking using al08, time to time  it shows few users are login to this CI server (erpcv)
How this happens, Is that a problem with the message server or any other issue !!!
    regards,

You need to configure your servers in logon groups (SMLG) and distribute the correct logon groups to the users.
My assumption, There may be few users have SAPGUI points to directly to CI.
We also have 4 apps and 1 CI/MS and DB as cluster, but have allowed users to logon to all the servers (4 apps + 1 CI) this is due to nothing is running on CI+MS and technically speaking waste of CI resources if you are not allowing users to logon and using system.
Don't worry SMLG (load balancing) will take care of distributing the load.

    Hi,
I found solution to the problem. By default sshd in solars 10 does not permit root logins.
We need to edit /etc/ssh/sshd_config file as follows:
    PermitRootLogin yes
    and restart the sshd.
    #svcadm restart ssh
    Thanks & Regards,

I have been trying to login into Bi Server using Oracle Bi Publisher Desktop. Once I try to login, a credentials error pops-up saying 'Please Contact your administrator for userid/password'. I am sure the credentials are correct because I used them on a different computer of the same specifications as mine for another user. Please help me.

Just found a solution that worked for me:
uninstalled BI Publisher Desktop 11.1.1.6 32-bit
    manually deleted old installation directory
renamed all .exd files on harddisk to .exd.bak
    deleted all temorary files
installed BI Publisher Desktop 11.1.1.5 as administrator
    started word 2010 as administrator

  • Find out SQL Server Logins and associated Server Roles

We have SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008 and R2 in our environment.  We have several SQL Servers in our environment. I want to find out Server Logins and Server Roles Assigned in SQL Server. I want following information. Is there any way I can
find it? Any help would be highly appreciated.
    SQL Server
    Login
    Role Assigned
    Server1
    Login1
    bulkadmin
    Server1
    Login2
    serveradmin
    Server1
    Login1
    diskadmin
    Server2
    Login1
    public

The query only returns those logins that are assigned to at least one server role.if they are not assigned it will not return that login. If you want to return all the login then use the query below.Note that query returns public for those login with no server
    role assigned.
    select @@SERVERNAME
    ,sl.name
    ,isnull(DB_Roles.Roles,'Public')
    from syslogins sl
    left join
    select 'sysadmin' as Roles
    union all
    select 'securityadmin'
    union all
    select 'serveradmin'
    union all
    select 'setupadmin'
    union all
    select 'processadmin'
    union all
    select 'diskadmin'
    union all
    select 'dbcreator'
    union all
    select 'bulkadmin'
    union all
    select 'No serverRole'
    union all
    select 'public'
    ) DB_Roles
    on
Case When sl.sysadmin=1 and DB_Roles.Roles='sysadmin' then 'sysadmin'
When sl.securityadmin=1 and DB_Roles.Roles='securityadmin' then 'securityadmin'
When sl.serveradmin=1 and DB_Roles.Roles='serveradmin' then 'serveradmin'
When sl.setupadmin=1 and DB_Roles.Roles='setupadmin' then 'setupadmin'
When sl.processadmin=1 and DB_Roles.Roles='processadmin' then 'processadmin'
When sl.diskadmin=1 and DB_Roles.Roles='diskadmin' then 'diskadmin'
When sl.dbcreator=1 and DB_Roles.Roles='dbcreator' then 'dbcreator'
When sl.bulkadmin=1 and DB_Roles.Roles='bulkadmin' then 'bulkadmin'
    else null end=DB_Roles.Roles

  • Sometimes when I try to sign in, I get a Forbidden, you don't have permission to access login on this server

Sometimes, not all the time, I get a message that says
    Forbidden
you do not have permission to access login on this server
It does not happen all the time, but it happened today about 5 times. I finally had to use Safari to get online and get back to Firefox.
I never know when I shut down if it will happen when I reboot and try to get online again. This morning was particularly distressing, since it used to happen once, and then I would quit and restart Firefox and it worked. Today it did not work. What can I do to fix this? Thank you

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
*Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
    *Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
    *Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.
    "Clear the Cache":
*Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

  • Setup has failed to automatically login to the server ServerMachine

    Hello,
This error appears when installing the sboclient in a WINXP machine.
Setup has failed to automatically login to the server <ServerMachine>
It asks for the userID and Password, and even if I type the correct user and password it doesn't do anything.
I can access the machine from the windows explorer, it is in a vmware.
    Anyone with the same problem?
    thanks in advance.

    Dear All,
I was facing the same problem and now it is resolved.
You should try the same what I did:
    • Browse the SQL Server CD from a client machine.
    • From the Root installation DIR, (SQL2005 in my case) double click "SPLASH.HTA" file.
    • It will ask for Security Warning, click Run.
    • It will pop up a Windows 2005 Server window.
    • Under the Install heading click on "Run the SQL Native Client Installation Wizard"
    • It will again pop up a security warning message. Click "Run"
    • Follow the instructions for installation.
    • Select all the components including SDK if it asks.
Once it installed, try installing your SAP B1 Client. It must work.
    Best wishes

  • How to do a programmatic login in a server context

    Hello,
How to do a programmatic login in a server context?
How can the current authenticated user, if any, be substituted by another in the middle of a request, in a save pipeline, eg?
    Regards.
    -- Nuno

I don't know of a way to do exactly what you are asking. However, when I had your requirement I elevated the current user to the permission of an administrator who had the ability to perform any configuration desired.
The only other reason I could think you need to be a specific user is so that the logs would indicate that the action was performed by a specific user.

  • HTTP 403 when login into SSO-Server

    Hello, all!
I have RHEL 3.0 and OAS 9.0.4. and Domain (Win2003).
I have configured the synchronization between Oracle Internet Directory and Microsoft Active Directory (AD). The Oracle SSO server configured to enable Microsoft Internet Explorer users to automatically authenticate to their web applications using their desktop credentials. So I use Windows Native Authentication.
    About my problem:
In some computers when user try to login into SSO-Server (as sample, press button 'Login' in page http://host:port/oiddas) he gets error 'HTTP 403'. But this user can sit into other computer and login into Windows with him domain account and can login into SSO without any problem!
In some situation the windows user profile re-creating helps to get out this error.
But sometime only re-installation of Windows can help to resolve this problem.
Maybe anybody faced same challenge... and have a solution....
    Help me, please!
    Best regards,
    Natalia.

Installed tamper data and from what I can tell, the requests go back and forth between AM server and protected resource. Here's the Request Graph output.
