ICloud drive still "setting up" after 2 days

I installed Yosemite on three Macs the day of release and I noticed that all three automatically turned on iCloud drive. Problem is that after two days, when I open iCloud in Preferences, it still says that iCloud drive is being set up. Meanwhile I have files I need to access on iCloud and I can't reach them. Any suggestions about what I can do? TIA

I've managed to fix this problem by signing out of iCloud altogether and signing in again.
In detail, I went into System Preferences -> iCloud, clicked the Sign Out button, clicked the Delete buttons for all the individual apps as their dialogues came up and then signed in to iCloud again using my Apple ID and password. The iCloud Preferences dialogue took a while to process the iCloud Drive 'App' and seemed to generate a lot of network traffic but it eventually displayed an Options button just like all the other iCloud-enabled apps. Note that I had to choose the option to delete all files in iCloud because the only other option was to cancel the operation. (I assumed that cancelled the whole process of signing out of iCloud.) As I wasn't using iCloud Drive before deleting all files wasn't a problem for me.

I can't set up iCloud drive on my iMac after upgrading to Yosemite - iPhone and iPad are updated but both say my iMac isn't (even though it is running Yosemite).
My iMac is OS X Yosemite 10.10 (14A389), memory is 4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 and storage capacity is 273.64 free of 999.35 GB.
When i go to System Preferences and click on iCloud. The iCloud Drive section is greyed out and says setting up and a spinning pin wheel. It stays like this the whole time. I have tried restarting the computer. i amanita sure what else to do to make it work. Any suggestion would be great.

I found another way to correct this...
1) Select Message, then go to Preferences,
2) a window will appear with 3 options, General, Accounts, Audio Video, don't be surprised when you see a video of yourself, your camera just turned on.
3) Select Accounts (you may have several here)
4) Select the account that has "iMessage" under the account name. This may likely be your Apple ID ****@me.com
5) Look at what is checked under the "You can be reached for messages at:"
6) Select the one account (or more if you like) and deselect the others
7) Close the window and the problem goes away.
I'm not longer getting my sons iMessages.

I have just purchased the iPhone 5s and my previous phone was backed up on iCloud. However when I restored this on my new phone my photos are still being restored after 4 days. Shows the amount there but no pictures?

Many users have lost photos while preforming a restore from backup or upgrading the iOS. Recall, only photos in the camera roll are backed up to iCloud. There is a way to turn backups for camera roll on/off, perhaps these users had camera roll turned off.
See:
Settings>icloud>Storage & Backups>Manage Storage, tap the device's name and on the next screen, be sure Camera Roll is turned on.
IMPORTANT...
Photos should be regularly synced to a computer (like you store photos from a digital camera) using either USB via iTunes (on a mac use iPhoto or Aperture to move them to an album) or using photo stream. If using Photo stream, but sure to move the received photos to a permanent album. If you have been doing that, then you can sync those photos back to your device.
Or, you can find other apps in the app store that send camera roll photos to a service like Dropbox.
If you haven't been saving photos except relying on iCloud to store them in a backup, then that is risky, as many users have discovered. I'm afraid I have no advice in this case - there is no "cure".

Valid Acrobat Pro XI still requires activation after 30 days

I already asked a similar question in a different sub-forum, but i was recommended to make a new thread here.
The problem is this:
We need to deploy Acrobat Pro XI to computers that are 100 offline. We used the Adobe Customization Wizard XI to make a customized install for Acrobat Pro XI. We entered the serial number and used the "Grant Offline Exception" button on a computer with Internet access, which worked fine. The ISX_SERIALNUMBER property is successfully added to the mst.
Adobe Support has earlier told me that all that is needed for offline activation to work is to have the ISX_SERIALNUMBER set in the mst. Still, Acrobat complains after 30 days that it needs to be activated. Is there some other magic that the "Grant Offline Exception" button does to the installation package that i need to be aware of?
The way the installation is run is:

So the bottom line is that i would like to know if this way of running the installation is correct, and also exactly what the "Grant Offline Exception" button does.

We are not ghosting the installation, it's a normal installation using the standard files from Adobe.
The installation process is as i described above.
I tried using the wizard again now, granting the offline exception with it, and saving it as an mst. According to point 4.2.7.1 in 4 Installation Workflows — Enterprise Administration Guide, this should occur: "The Wizard validates the serial number and saves the exception inside the MST."
I can not for the life of me see any references in the mst that an offline exception exists. PRESERIALIZATIONFILEPATH is not mentioned in the property table or anywhere else in the mst either.
All further help (if possible) will be much appreciated!

In Settings\iCloud Don't See "upgrade to iCloud drive" or "set up family sharing"

I would like to use family sharing. We have iOS8, but in Settings\iCloud we don't see "upgrade to iCloud drive" or "set up family sharing". I am unsure what else to do. I searched support, but they all see to assume we can see these settings.

I figured it out! I changed my email & password at the icloud site, then when I deleted the icloud account on my iphone - it still showed my old email but when i typed in my current password it went through. I was then able to sign back in with my current email and password. That was too easy for the amount of time I have put into this! Glad its finally fixed.

ICloud Drive permanently setting up

I upgraded my iMac from Mavericks to Yosemite yesterday. iCloud Drive in System Preferences and Finder seemed to be stuck in 'Setting up...'. Having shutdown the Mac overnight and started it again today iCloud Drive is still 'Setting up...'. I saw this question in the iCloud section of this forum minutes ago but I can't find it now. The earlier message asked whether it might have something to do with having an iPhone 4 running iOS 7, which is also my situation. But we do also have an iPad mini running iOS 8 and it would be nice to able to share files between the Mac and the iPad.
Any suggestions?

Why icloud delete every my document after 2 days?

hi, i have a macbook wiht lion, a ipad2, and a iphone4, ( all updated at the lastest version ) and i use wiht icloud,
icloud works correctly in all function. but, after i uploaded a document from numbers, or pages, or keynote, after 2 days icloud removes all my document, from any places!

I wish I could install Mac OS X 10.6.8 but since my computer...(a workhorse mind you) is a G5 dual 2Ghz processor, but NON-INTEL it will not run a version higher than OS X 10.5.8. At the Guiness dek in SF with another problem I was told my G5 computer will outlast the dual intel because they run hot. I wish they would make the higher versions PPC friendly there are many of us still out here ;( I'm suppost to have the faster at&t DSL but it hard to tell...at&t has been jerking with their system trying to get the city to allow them to put in huge boxes all over the city to supply TV. I haven't tried reinstalling iTunes...I will try that...thanks!

"icloud drive" option is unchecked after every reboot of windows 7

Hi,
I have iCloud Control Panel 4.0.2 on my Windows 7 x64 pc. I have checked the tickbox as enabled next to "iCloud Drive". But after a reboot my docments are not synced to my iCloud Drive folder in windows explorer. When I open iCloud control panel, the option is unchecked and I have to re-enable it to start syncing.
Anyone has a solution?

Can someone when exactly the point for a purchase will actually be available? I made a purchase on 9-22-14 and the points still show pending. I thought it only took 15 days. I'm over that now.

ICloud drive still installing

Evening!
I've upgraded my iPhone to ios8 this morning which was very straight forward, however it's been upgrading since and I can't access it at all.
Has anyone got any ideas, I've tried to turn my phone off etc but this didn't work either.
its getting on my nerves now as I can't access it at all anymore.

Set up iCloud Drive
You can set up iCloud Drive using Setup Assistant when you install iOS 8, or you can set it up later in Settings. iCloud Drive is an upgrade to Documents & Data. When you upgrade to iCloud Drive, your documents are copied to iCloud Drive and become available on your devices using iCloud Drive. You won’t be able to access the documents stored in iCloud Drive on your other devices until they are also upgraded to iOS 8 or OS X Yosemite. For more information about upgrading to iCloud Drive, see support.apple.com/kb/HT6345.
Set up iCloud Drive. Go to Settings > iCloud > iCloud Drive, turn on iCloud Drive, then follow the onscreen instructions.

Creative Cloud purchase still pending after 13 days?

My order status still says pending after 13 days. I ordered a year photography subscription on december 16. It's allready paid with paypal.

I have an iPhone 5c and updated to iOS 8.0.2 and in iCloud the iCloud Drive is stuck and says "Updating" for a couple of days. When iOS 8.1 became available, I downloaded and iCloud Drive still says "Updating". I have singed out of the iCloud on my phone and logged back in and nothing has changed. I have also done the reset while signed out and again still "Updating".
Let me know how to fix this issue so I can backup everything to my iCloud account.
