ICloud restore on a new phone
My daughter dropped my wifes phone and she had to get a new 4S. The "genious" at the Apple store put in the wrong apple ID and now we can't restore from the Icloud. On both my other Iphones( yea I have two, my kids each have one, and my wife has one...), under settings>Icloud, there is a red delete account bar at the bottom of the screen. The new 4S she got from Apple today doesn't have the delete bar. How can I change my username on Icloud by not deleting this Icloud account?
Go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in the the correct ID. This deletes the account and any synced iCloud data from her phone, but not from iCloud. Devices using this account will not be effected by this.

TS4036 iCloud restore onto my new phone is stuck.
Nothing new is adding after 5 hours. Only a small fraction of my photos and music have loaded.. What can I do?
Welcome to the Apple Community Meg.
When you restore from back up, the process will restore the OS and some initial data, it will then restart and allow you to use your device while the remaining data is downloaded and restored in the background. have you allowed enough time for this to complete.
If you think it's taking too long, try restarting the device. -

How to restore iCloud backups on a new phone?
How to restore iCloud backups on a new phone?
The only way to access iCloud backups is to Erase all content and settings, go thru the setup assistant, and when prompted to restore from iCloud backup - choose that option.

How do you get your icloud on to your new phone?
how do you get your icloud on to your new phone?
If you mean how do you sign into your iCloud account, go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your iCloud ID and password.
Or did you mean how do you restore your iCloud backup to your new phone? -
Trying to choose iCloud backup on my new phone as I lost my previous one but it states"no iCloud backups are compatible with this version" therefore I can't set up my replacement phone! Any suggestions
You can't restore a backup that was made on a device running a more recent version of iOS. If your replacement phone is running iOS 6.0.1 and the one you backed up was running 6.1.2, for example, you would have to update your replacement phone before you could restore to the backup. If this is the case, update your phone by connecting it to your computer, and selecting Check for Update or Update on the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings, update the phone and set it up as New. Then go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings, go through the setup screens again and choose Restore from iCloud Backup. You should then be able to restore your backup.

I need to install my back up iCloud info onto a new phone with the same sim in and then erase old phone from my account. How can I do this?
When you setup the new phone restore it from the iCloud backup from your old phone.
Then, on your old phone, use Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings. -

The phone is physically intact, but you can see the LCD is cracked behond the glass. I have tried plugging it in, tried putting it on the charger, and resetting it using the off and home buttons, bit response. I don't need the phone to work, but I do need to be bale to back it up in order to restore to the new phone. Is there any way to extract the data or back up the hard drive without repairing the phone? Just curious what my options are before I spend cash trying to fix the phone and find out there was another way to get the data. Any thoughts here or should a good repair shop being able to create a backup somehow?
Im not going to be much help because I don't know of anything else to besides take it somewhere that fixes electronics and see if they can get it off some how maybe if you take it to an apple store they can do something to get your information.

i have a white screen on my computers. I tried resetting it and it worked for a few minutes until it was put to sleep and then went back to white screen when i turned it back on. I tried resetting again and it did not work. I then did restore for itunes. it didn't work. was wondering if i did restore, as a new phone set up in itunes will i loose my contacts. just want to make sure before i try in the event i have to buy a new phone want to be able to have the information to transfer.
restoring as new does just that. It will wipe your phone clean just as if you just bought it.
If you've been using your iPhone as recommended, you've been synching your contacts to your computer to a contact manager such as Outlook or Address Book, or you've been synching your contacts with a cloud service like MobileMe or Google. Your contacts should be safe in one of those locations. -

Delete my iCloud account on old phone without affecting my iCloud account on my new phone
I've migrated my data and settings from my 4 to my 4s. The 4 tells me that if I delete my iCloud account it will update the Cloud and I will lose my Contacts and Photostream. What should I do? I want to purge this phone of all its data without losing my iCloud data on my new phone.
Welcome to the Apple Community.
You will only remove the account and it's data from the device, it won't remove any data from the iCloud account itself. -
I Have just bought an iPhone 6 and want to restore my iPhone 4s via iCloud backup to the new iPhone 6. The setup of the iPhone 6 halted because according to the new phone it has iOS 8.1.2 whereas the backups were stored using iOS 8.2 following my updating of the iPhone 4S recently. How do I jump through this hoop? How do I update the new phone to iOS 8.2 without serring it up first? Anyone, please help?
Update the new phone to the same version that has been used to create the backup. In your case, the new device has to run 8.2 to be able to use the backup made with the other device.
Setting it back to factory settings will install the newest version and after that you can use the backup made under 8.2
