Icloud storage refund

I purchased an upgrade to iCloud storage, but have since decided that I don't really need it. In the email reciept, it says "You may contact Apple for a full refund within 15 days of an initial upgrade purchase or within 45 days of a subsequent yearly payment. Partial refunds are available where required by law."
I'd like to cancel. How, exactly, do I "contact apple"? I can't find anything that seems approporiate here: http://www.apple.com/contact/

Go to www.apple.com/support/contact
Select Express Lane for MobileMe (DO NOT select Express Lane for iCloud)
On the next screen, ensure MobileMe is selected
Coose Account & Billing
Next screen choose Cancelling paid subscription; you can provide additional info, optional
Next screen choose Chat; provide requested info
Enter chat session; explain you would like iCloud Storage refund and your within 15 days
Apple rep will ask for birthday, address, phone and last 4 digits of cc used to order storage
You then get your refund
This will be a no charge chat. Shouldn't be this hard, but this should help.

You can cancel an iCloud storage upgrade within 15 days of buying:
Apple have made this as difficult as possible. However two posters have managed to achieve this. Elizellen was able to use Express Lane to get a refund:

However if you use Express Lane may find you cannot proceed without entering a hardware serial number which is still eligible for AppleCare. julia22 managed to find a way round that by phoning them - please see this post:

If it is more than 15 days since you purchased the storage you cannot cancel it for a refund; you can downgrade your plan as from your next renewal date. Please see

I want to share as follows :
I was accidentally bought 50 gb storage on 13 Apr because after upgrade 5 GB to 10 Gb still not enough when backup datas. Reflectly I upgrade to 50 gb and shocked that I need 148 hours for backup my Ipad. Then I tried to downgrade to first storage 5 g, but I could not downgrade it on that time untill I received the receipt (noticed on my Ipad). I tried to find how to get the refund and 22 Apr. i sent email to apple support and have follow up no, and thenn case id on 26 Apr, chat case id on 5 May. I spent for weeks trying hard to find the way how to process the refund, until this moment, more than a month.
The apple support already assisted me to contact the Icloud support, but I have not found the online refund form yet.
I hope I could find the way how to process the refund. Please help me.

You could try calling the support number listed here: http://www.apple.com/emea/support/contact/itunes/phone_contacts/. This is for product support and they will probably ask you for your device serial number when they answer. When they do, just explain that you are trying to get a refund for an iCloud storage upgrade.

Hello, my payment method for my Apple ID is gif cards, i had the 20$/year subscription to give me total of 15GB of storage and i recently upgraded to the 40$/year by mistake and i downgraded the plan to the 20$/year again but it said it will take effect on the yearly anniversary of the first subscription purchase! Now i need to have a refund, i want my money back and i have no idea how! Can somebody help me please, i am out of the USA and i cant contact them at all.

I don't believe that you can purchase additional storage with gift cards. Additional storage will be an annual subscription, Apple will need to know how you are going to pay next year and every year after that.

Hi there, saw my annual iCloud storage billed yesterday and went to downgrade and get a refund. Couldn't find any links(s) that spoke clearly and concisely on how to get a refund. My iPhone says to contact support for a full refund within 45 days. Used iTunes and "reported a problem" with the storage purchase but was routed to the wrong customer support team who then suggested I seek support through iCloud. Well there's lots of topics and associated links - none for a simple refund. Any help (preferably a working link that takes me right to the correct form screen to submit my iCloud storage refund request) is greatly appreciated.

Contact AppleCare support at 800-694-7466, and tell them you want to get your icloud storage fee refunded. The Advisors should be able to help with that.

ICloud Storage Automatically Upgraded with upload of v8

When I uploaded v8 to my iPhone 5 and 4, I instantly received an email from iCloud team that they charged me $.99 a month for an increase in iCloud storage. I did not order an increase to storage or modified and iCloud backup plan. Now I want to downgrade this iCloud storage and get a refund from iCloud/Apple but cant find a place where I can communicate to desire to and stop further auto updates and billing. I have since shout down ICloud- no storage or backups. Anyone experience this issue of automatically getting a bill form Apple for more Icloud storage even though it was not ordered. Also the Apple instructions to downgrade, via the iPhone Settings/iloud/ Manage Storage does not allow a committed downgrade to occur and grays out the 'Done' button.

Try contacting the Apple online store for your country. They process iCloud storage refunds and may be able to help you. The number should be at the bottom of this page.

I was able to get a refund processed for storage I accidentally purchased by calling the above number ^^.
It did take me three calls because the system is fully automated and it was difficult speaking an answer to any of the automated questions that would actually get me to a live person - the first time I was automatically hung up on for not replying; the second time I couldn't get past the automated system. The third time I was finally transferred to a live person; and after being transferred to a second live person it took about 20 minutes to get the refund processed. I'm hoping it goes through and will be watching my credit card statement closely for the next week. Apple will call me back a week from today to ensure the refund was processed.

Keeping current plan, but downgrading when it ends:
Settings>icloud>Storage & Backup>Change Storage Plan. Look at downgrade options. There you can choose the plan you want when the current one ends.
