we just installed an SAP ERP EHP7 IDES System and when trying to create a new user via su01 we get into a Runtime error:
Category: ABAP Programming Error
RUntime Error
check the note:
1793251 - FAQ: Known problems without a specific SAP Note
GETWA_NOT_ASSIGNED in SU01, SU10
See SAP Note 1796136.
Execute the report RSUSR_CLEANUP_USER_TABLES to clean up the inconsistencies.
Note: Select the option "Include CUA Tables".
Missing entries in the table USRSYSPROF can be corrected using the text comparison from child systems.

Dispatcher for IDES EHP7 does not running
Companios of the SAP community, I'm trying to install an IDES EHP7 in Red Hat but the dispatcher stays in "Yellow".
The dispatcher log just stays on continuosly repeating what the images attached to them.
Someone has happened to you or i might suggest that i do.

i solved it by myself. There was a wrong javaparameter in the settings of the dispatcher.
-Xgcpolicy.gencon instead of -Xgcpolicy:gencon, my colleague has found it out.

Dispatcher para el IDES EHP7 en Red Hat no arranca
Buenas,
Compañeros de la comunidad SAP, estoy intentando instalar un IDES EHP7 en un Red Hat pero el dispatcher se queda en "Amarillo".
El log del dispatcher solo se queda repitiendo contantemente lo que les adjunto en la imágenes.
A alguien le ha sucedido o me podría indicar que podría hacer ?

Que tarjeta wifi tienes?, has buscado una actualización del controlador de la misma.
En el icono de la batería, mas opciones de energía en configuraciones avanzadas primero poner todo en opciones predeterminadas, pruebas si persiste el problema, si persiste modificas el apartado de wifi a alto rendimiento tanto para conexión a batería y conexión a enchufe.

IDES Installation - EHP 7 for SAP ERP 6.0, fails at abap import win 2012 r2 ORA

I am having an issue on import abap phase to complete the SAP IDES ERP EHP 7 for ABAP installation.
i am already search on the net, but found nothing about this>

I already patch kernel, and try another things, but nothing solve it.

I have exactly the same issue as you have.
as I checked in the sybase database, actually the index SKAT~001 already exists.
if I run sql statement CREATE INDEX [SKAT~001] ON "SKAT" ("MANDT","SPRAS","MCOD1") with consumers = 3, via Toad or any other tools, it says the index already there.
So i think this error could be ignored, just set ok instead of err in file SAPAPPL0_17.TSK
I SKAT~001 C ok
and then retry to continue the installation steps, it works well.

I understood, that we have to clean up stock...I mean, to not have stock on the materials that we set to charge handling, but even than does not allow us to set this option.

I have searched for the file DODS.SQL on the IDES import media. It is missing.
Could that be the cause of the error?Hi Daniel.
It looks to be problem with export DVDs. Can you download the same again and re-extract it.

SSFS/DB connect issue in EHP7 IDES installation
Hi Experts,
I am new to SAP Basis.
I came accross an issue while installing EHP7 IDES.SAPINST is terminating at the step "start instance".Upon checking I found that connection to DB is not being established and r3trans returns error code 0012.
System Information----
DB --oracle 11.2.0.3( windows bundle patch already applied)
OS--Windows 2012 R2
Kernel--741 unicode
As per the note 1622837 I tried to setup the scure connection of ABAP to Oracle via SSFS.After following all the steps now r3trans is finished with 0000.But still I am unable to start the instance.
I have followed the below steps--
i)setting up the profile parameters --
rsec/ssfs_datapath = $(DIR_GLOBAL)$(DIR_SEP)security$(DIR_SEP)rsecssfs$(DIR_SEP)data

iii) setting up SSFS storage
rsecssfx put DB_CONNECT/DEFAULT_DB_USER SAPSR3 -plain
rsecssfx put DB_CONNECT/DEFAULT_DB_PASSWORD *****
iv)Check SSFS storage
rsecssfx list
v)Exclude the standard SAP connect method
drop table ops$sidadm.sapuser;
Now here I am not able to find any table.It is showing table or view doesn't exist.
Now coming back to th error,I have checked the dev_wo log which says

Installation Error with SAP ERP6,EHP7, NW7.4 (IDES Export)
Hi,
I am trying to setup an IDES Server and downloaded the latest packages from market place.
Operating System: SLES 11 SP3, in SAP flavour as it is provided by Novell.
There is enough space on disks as per Note 2012989 and the Installation Guide.
This is my first Sybase SAP-Installation.
The error appears in phase "Setup Backup Server".

I checked the table status. There were no database tables.
This is my second upgrade of EHP7. At first time , I choosed 'Starard' mode.
At this time I choosed 'Single System'.
I activated one table(/BA1/F4_RELEASE) and repeated phase , then passed its table.
But there are almost 1,300 talbes.
Is this bug of 'Single System' mode ?
Or is there any solution?
My configuraion is
OS: WIndows 2008 R2
DB: SQL Server 2008 R2
CPU: 2
memory: 16GB

TH_DELETE_MODE not working in Web GUI after EHP7 upgrade
Hi
After upgrading to EHP7 the function module TH_DELETE_MODE is not working in the Web GUI. If I start the TH_DELETE_MODE in SE37 with the default paramter "1-" I'll get the HTTP error code 500. We use the function module for our webdynpro to logout but it is not working anymore.
Any idea or recommendation?

I don't find Inst.Master which is required to start up the installation. Where to download it and what specific version I need to download for EHP7 for SAP ERP 6.0 IDES ?
Are there any JAVA COMPONENTS that I need to download before starting installation like Java Component BS2005SR3 or Java Component NW 7.0 SR3 ?? and SAP ERP 6.0 SR3 Components for EHP3 do we have similar components for EHP7 ?

Good day, as per you advice. I manage to go thru the IDES installation but its stuck on 19 of 34 (Import ABAP) with error code 2.

So, at this point I agree i have to update SQL Server to 2012 before next step
Now, my concern is that my Source System does not have the minimum NW SP level (14) to run under SQL Server 2012 which is 26.

If your system is running on a SPS lower than the one required above, you have to apply the minimum required SPS before upgrading/migrating to SQL Server 2012.
If you install a NetWeaver product on SQL Server 2012, the required SPS for your product must be applied immediately after the installation - see SAP note 1676665, section I for more information.
But performing the Upgrade would be technically possible? I mean not for productive use but technicaly during that time the Database is Upgrade and during SUM Execution.
According to the note it states if you install a Netweaver Product in SQL Server 2012, SPS must be applied immediately, so is kinda ambigous what SAP is saying.

For a test scenario, there's no harm in trying it (other than spending a lot of time on it, but hopefully that will prove not to be a waste). Generally, I expect you'll be fine upgrading your DBMS even though you aren't on the required minimum SP yet. The main thing you'll be missing out on is the updates to DBACOCKPIT, but once you do your EhP upgrade (with sps update included), you'll be putting that in place.
So, you could try this on your sandbox system and see if there are any problems. I assume the intent is to start the EhP upgrade as soon as the DBMS upgrade is done, right? In other words, you won't be actually using the system without the required SP except to run the EhP upgrade?
Alternatively, you could do a minimal support pack update, perhaps just a Basis SP only, to the minimum SP needed for your current release, then do the DBMS upgrade, then proceed with the EhP upgrade. This would be the safest procedure, but, as I said, I expect you can probably get away without going to this level without much problem. Again, the idea would be minimizing the time between the start and end of the total project on each system (DEV, QAS, PRD, etc).

Will windows 8.1 support GUI, if i install GUI?
Kindly suggest for another configuration which suits to IDES.

1. I am not sure about Windows 8.1 OS supports, but you can select the latest version of SAP ECC ERP6 EHP7.

Gateway OData service on multiple clients (IDES)
Hi guys,
I have ERP 6.0 EHP7 SP1 IDES version of SAP Business Suite standard installation with NW 7.41 embedded. I am using NW Gateway (backend, not HUB deployment) to expose Odata web services. I have managed to expose and read data on client 001, where i also made all the customizing neccessary to enable the NW Gateway, maintain system aliases etc..
Now, since all the demo data for IDES is in client 800, i don't know how to configure NW Gateway and system aliases so that i can expose data from client 800. I have searched for an answer to this a lot, but most of the information i could find was for a HUB deployment.Also, if i login to client 800, i can see that the customizing settings for NW Gateway are not there. So i have a couple of questions:
How do i set-up my NW Gateway and system aliases to expose data also from client 800?
Aren't gateway customizing settings cross-client? How come the gateway is disabled in client 800 but enabled in 001 on the same system?
If not, how do i configure the gateway in client 800, where do i set the HTTP port etc.
I am quite new to SAP / NW, so sorry if what i'm asking is something stupid.

PrimožHi Timo, i didn't get any answer (i guess SAP considers this too basic a question ). I did however manage to retrieve data from client 800, using the web service configured in client 100.
This can be achieved with the sap-client parameter:
http://mysap/my_service_path/MySet/?sap-client=800&filter=...
This way you are returing data from client 800. But how to have a dev/prod scenario on a single embedded deployment, i have yet to find out. By this i mean how to have a service definition in client 100 that you can transport to client 800 (using ie. SCC1) on demand, so these two clients can use different service definitions. Altough i did transfer ws configuration from 100 to 800 using SCC1, looks like you have to set-up the aliases in a right way to achieve the above and i don't know how.

Hi everyone Im using Sap Business One Version 2007A SP00 PL49, SQL 2005 and Crystal Reports Basic for Sap Business One (Add on 2.0.0.7). Whenever i try to generate a report from SBO the system displays the following message "Failed to retrieve data f
