IDoc adapter - Receiver Agreement

For IDoc Adapter, y should the receiver agreement should be created.
I know y sender agreement is not created.
-Naveen.

Hi Naveen,
The Integration Server pipeline converts the received XML to IDoc XML, and then transfers this IDoc XML to the IDoc adapter. The IDoc adapter converts the IDoc XML to native IDoc format and sends the IDoc to the identified receiver system using the standard IDoc interface, this receiver system is identified because you specify it in your <b>receiver agreement</b>. The IDoc adapter can also call external subsystems.
I hope you have understood the need of receiver agreement incase of  IDoc adapters...

  • Issue about IDoc Adapter Receiver Channel's Performance

    Hi Everyone,
    Currently, I am working on a scenario of File -Integration Process - IDoc in XI 3.0 with patch level 16. The scenario works fine when it process one/two/three files in parallel, and the IDocs arrive R/3 system quite fast. But when I try four files in parallel, the whole XI server blocks, I can not do anything even logon Integration Builder, and the IDocs arrive R/3 brokenly, sometime with the invterval to 10 minutes. When the XI comes back, I found all the four integration processes finish successfully and each transaction works fine and fast. What's more, after I change the IDoc Adapter receiver channel to a File Adapter receiver channel, it works fine for even 20 files in parallel. So I think it is some issue about IDoc Adapter receiver channel. Does anyone have the same experience as me? Any comments will be appreciate.

    Nick

    Hi Nick,
    Can you check this Blog-
    /people/sreekanth.babu2/blog/2005/01/05/delayed-xi-message-processing
    May be useful.
    How are you picking the files .. You can try with EOIO options while picking the file.
    But if you use BPM, it is not applicable. It will act as a EO only.
    Check this SAP Note- 833740
    Thanks,
    Moorthy

  • No receiver agreement for the sender "xyz" to receiver "abc" found

    in SXMB_MONI i am getting the following error message when the data has been sent from the IDOC
    No receiver agreement for the sender "xyz" to receiver "abc" found
    I have specified 3 receiver agreements and a Default receiver (in configured receivers)
    so in any case, it should pick it as the receiver
    but, still I am getting the above error message
    any one faced same kind of issue?
    regards,
    nikhil.

    Hi Nikhil,
    Correct me if I understood it wrongly.
    You need to copy the IDOC xml data and copy it for testing. XSD is the definition for your XML data.
    You should not copy the XSD as the input to the Mapping program.
    Follow this steps:
    - Go to your Mapping Program
    - Click on Test tab
    - Click on the SRC tab and copy your XML data here not XSD.

  • ACK send back but which Idoc Adapter

    Hello,
    I have the following scenario(party):
    R3 ->  XI -> Http
    I am send orders from the R3 via XI to a customer. I'll get an status from the Http-Adapter that I want to send back to the R3. The definition for sending back are all done and fine. I've 2 Idoc-Adapter (Receiver). Adapter A is an old on used in an other scenario and the new on (adapter-B) with the special setting. When I am receiving the ACK from the HTTP-adapter how can I define wich idoc-Adapter has to be used. My problem ist that the adapter A is used which don't have the necessary settings and can't be changed. How/where can I define to use the adapter b for sendign back tke ACK to the R3.
    Regards Jami

    Hi Jami,
    Receiver adapters that run on the Adapter Engine support system acknowledgments if they are requested by the sender. Acknowledgements are triggered when a message is successfully processed by the adapter or if an error occurs while it is being processed. Receiver adapters do not support application acknowledgments. The RNIF and CIDX adapters are exceptions to this rule, since they also support scenario-dependent application acknowledgments. Sender adapters of the Adapter Engine do not request any acknowledgments.
    There is a guide to handle idoc acknowledgements, in sap xi. please refer,"how to handel acknowledgements for idoc" at,
    https://websmp202.sap-ag.de/nw-howtoguides
    Have look at "How To Handle Acknowledgments for IDoc" .

    I hope this clears all your doubts.

  • SP14 Multi-mapping - error in receiver idoc adapter

    Hi,
    I have a scenario where a business service should send some XML to SAP CRM. I get the file via a sender JMS adapter and try to post it to CRM via a receiver IDOC adapter.
    I have created a multimapping (1:N - 1 XML file to many Idocs) as should in the repository.
    In the configuration under Interface Determination, I have chosen 'RB_SPLIT' and selected the interface multimapping.
    It should be pointed out, that when testing both interface and message mapping i get no error. All idocs seem to be created as they should.
    When testing the setup 'real life' the message fails. The error message in the monitor says:
    - <!--  Call Adapter
      -->
    - <SAP:Error xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30" xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" SOAP:mustUnderstand="">
      <SAP:Category>XIAdapter</SAP:Category>
      <SAP:Code area="IDOC_ADAPTER">ATTRIBUTE_WRONG_INTF</SAP:Code>
      <SAP:P1>InterfaceCollection</SAP:P1>
      <SAP:P2 />
      <SAP:P3 />
      <SAP:P4 />
      <SAP:AdditionalText />
      <SAP:ApplicationFaultMessage namespace="" />
      <SAP:Stack>Unable to interpret IDoc interface InterfaceCollection</SAP:Stack>
      <SAP:Retry>M</SAP:Retry>
      </SAP:Error>
    Notice that the above error is when trying to send only 1 record, which in turn then should result in only 1 idoc.
    If trying to send multiple XML records, i get the following error:
    - <!--  Technical Routing
      -->
    - <SAP:Error xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30" xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" SOAP:mustUnderstand="">
      <SAP:Category>XIServer</SAP:Category>
      <SAP:Code area="OUTBINDING">MMF_ENGINETYPE</SAP:Code>
      <SAP:P1 />
      <SAP:P2 />
      <SAP:P3 />
      <SAP:P4 />
      <SAP:AdditionalText />
      <SAP:ApplicationFaultMessage namespace="" />
      <SAP:Stack>A system error occurred in the outbound binding</SAP:Stack>
      <SAP:Retry>M</SAP:Retry>
      </SAP:Error>
    In the monitor in the payload of 'Request message mapping' I see as many Maindocument, Submaindocument pairs as should be Idocs.
    Now i really don't know how to interpret the error messages in both cases, so I'm a little lost here...
    It should be pointed out that the idoc being used everywhere in this scenario, has not been modified - from all places it is being used (and only exists) in the 'Imported objects | Idocs' place.
    Also the Idoc is also being used as Inbound interface - so no mistakes here either.
    I really hope someone can help me here, as I'm otherwise pretty stuck in this case.
    Best regards,
    Daniel

    Hi Daniel,
    I have exactly the same type of scenario (under SPS14 and now also SPS15), sending an XML message over JMS to XI and trying a multi-mapping to many IDocs (actually a list of orders in XML is mapped to n ORDERS Idocs).
    I also face problems doing so, when I use the IDoc Adapter as outbound in the Receiver Agreement. I receive the following error:
    <i>CO_TXT_MMF_ENGINETYPE
    Messages in multi message format can be sent to one adapter engine only</i>
    However, I tested the same scenario by just changing the Receiver Agreement to a File Communication Channel and - surprise, surprise - it works. One file per IDoc is created.
    Of course, this is not what we want to accomplish, but when I checked this piece of documentation (sorry another link
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/42/ed364cf8593eebe10000000a1553f7/content.htm
    the IDoc adapter is not listed in the list of Adapters that are supported. Does that mean, that this feature is not supported for generating IDocs? Maybe that's a question for a SAP OSS Message?
    I hope that helped you a little further - if you find out more I'd be happy to learn about it.
    regards,
    Peter

  • Getting Receiver Agreement issue in IDOC to File scenario

    Hi Gurus,
                Need your help. I'm working on a IDOC to File scenario. I'm using CREMDM.CREMDM04 as outbound Interface & small structure VEND_FILE_IN_MI as Inbound Interface. Though I've configured the receiver Communication Channel as a File Adapter with proper Inbound Interface I'm seeing the message getting failed which is showing CREMDM.CREMDM04 as both Outbound & Inbound interface and pointing a Receiver Agreement issue . The Receiver service is coming Properly, only the Interface is coming wrong as the sender interface. I've checked both Receiver Agreement & Receiver determination and found the Receiver Service, Communication Channel & Interface are perfectly mapped there, I cross checked the same Configurations in IE via SXI_CACHE after full Cache copy.

  • Why we r not Creating Sender Agreement For HTTP & IDOc Adapter at Sender .

    Hi Buddy's,
                         Why we r not Creating Sender Agreement For HTTP & IDOc Adapter at Sender .And why we create receiver agreements at receiver side bt not sender agreement at sender side.
    Wat Is GLOBAL Container ?, where it will Occur & wat is the functionality of that.

    Kumar,
    1) XI integrattion server - IS expects the messages in XML format. If you see the HTTP request you will see that we pass all the info contained in the Sender areement in the the HTTP request itself , namely - Message interface, message type and the namespace (along with login parameters). For IDOCs the the IDOC- XML are are sent to the IS (through IDOC port configuration at the source system.
    2) When send a message to XI the sender knows that XI system parameters, but when at the reciver end there could be any any system that is reciving the IDOc/HTTTp message. you specify those message through a commumication channel and this channel is associated to a receiver agreement.
    3) A Global container is like a place holder for variables. You can set a variable here and access it throughout your mapping and hence the name.
    A good example for a gloabal container is a counter to countthe number of records in te target side.

  • No Receiver Agreement found - IDOC RCVPRN = Party

    Hello,
    I have created all the receiver agreements required and they are in the configuration scenario.
    I have a receiver determination that is using the IDOC vendor number (RCVPRN) to determine the party for delivering purchase orders and another RD with the same config for delivering po changes.
    In tests my POs are sending successfully and my PO Changes are failing even though they use the same party setup/config.  In SXMB_MONI I can see that the receiver determination for the POs are creating the correct party:
    PO Results:
    <SAP:Party agency="http://sap.com/xi/XI" scheme="XIParty">Ventura</SAP:Party>
    But the PO Changes seem unable to connect the vendor number to the party:
    PO Change Results:
    <SAP:Party agency="http://sap.com/xi/XI" scheme="XIParty">0000557129</SAP:Party>
    In the sample above the party Ventura is set up under the party identifiers as follows:
    Agency:
    http://sap.com/xi/XI
    http://stc.com/pi/SAPR3
    Scheme:
    XIParty
    Vendor
    Name:
    Ventura
    0000557129
    How is it that PI 7.10 is getting the same value in RCVPRN and assigning the Party correctly in one case and incorrectly in another?
    Any ideas?
    Thanks,
    Matt

    Sometimes you just need to walk a way for a day or two...  I rechecked the standard configurations over and over.  But I didn't review the Party Extended selection.  In the Receiver Determination I chose to use RCVPRN to identify the Party but upon further investigation I realized I was using the wrong scheme and agency on the Party extension.
    So my party had the following:
    Agency:
    http://sap.com/xi/XI
    http://stc.com/pi/SAPR3
    Scheme:
    XIParty
    Vendor
    Name:
    Ventura
    0000557129
    My Receiver Determination was not using http://stc.com/pi/SAPR3 Vendor 0000557129 to determine the Party it was attempting to use http://sap.com/xi/SI XIParty Ventura.  So it was unable to find a matchinig party using the Vendor Numbers.
    Thanks for all the help.

  • IDOC to FTP File - Error : SAP:Stack No receiver agreement found for send

    Hello Friends,
    I need to configure a senario Idoc to FTP File, Í did required settings in R3 and in PI... , did mapping and configuratino in PI... and when I send my idoc I got error msg in monitor
    <SAP:Stack>No receiver agreement found for sender ,BMG_ASN_File_Component to receiver ,GTN_224,http://adis-bmg.de/asn,SI_BMG_ASN</SAP:Stack>
    I search the fourm but did not got my answer, me just a bit confused...
    In my senario I have having followings:
    1. Bussiness System ( RFT : sender R3 system).  ( I have define a party and make a connection under Idoc Partner )
    2. Bussiness Component ( ZTEST_COMP as on Reciever side is File Server, so I define the reciver as bussiness component )
    3. Communicatin Channel
        File with protocol FTP having communicatin component as my Bussiness Component ( reciver ). there I defied the required info for FTP
    4. Reciever Determination
        Sender:
        - RFT
        - Idoc-Interface
        - urn:sap-com:document:sap:idoc:messages
       Reciever
        communication party  = space
        communicatin component = ZTEST_COMP
        Configure Reciever:
       There I again define the communication component as  ( ZTEST_COMP)
    5. Interface Determination
        -RFT
        - Idoc-Interface
        - urn:sap-com:document:sap:idoc:messages
       Reviever:
        ZTEST_COMP
    and define the mapping which I did in design ( although I have seen some threads where mentioned we dont need maaping in this case ) ?
    6. Reciver agrement
    sender:
    - RFT
    Reviver:
    - ZTEST_COMP
    - SI interface ( SI_BMG_ASN )
    - http://test-etc.de/asn
    and included my CC for file .....
    Now when I send Idoc I got error msg that Reciver is not found : am I dong something wrong ?  do I have to defien a bussiness system instead of Bussiness Component ?
    Pls suggest...

    ( I have define a party and make a connection under Idoc Partner
    Do you really need a party in your communication? Should it not be a partly-less communication.
    In the receiver agreement ensure that you have included the inbound message interface.
    communication party = space
    No need to give any space.
    In the Interface Determination i hope that you have included the receiver meessage interface and then the corresponding Interface Mapping.
    If still not works then make some dummy changes and again activate....correspondingly check the cache status of the ID-objects

    Abhishek.

  • SAP PI Party setup IDoc - HTTP: no receiver agreement found

    Hi,
    We have setup SAP IDoc -> SAP PI --> HTTP with 2 parties, as described in the the 'HOW..TO Sample IDoc - XI scenario's' case 7:
    For the clarity of the example, the sender at our side is 'AAA', and the receiver side is 'BBB'.
    1. Sender Party
    Agency -
    Scheme -
    Name
    http://sap/com/xi/XI -
    XIParty -
    PA_AAA
    BS_BBB    -
    ALE#LI -
    0000100581
    2. Receiver Party
    Agency -
    Scheme -
    Name
    http://sap/com/xi/XI -
    XIParty -
    PA_BBB
    AD2_200 (SAP system) -
    ALE#KU -
    DE217560
    The other components in XI are as follows:
    3. Business component: PA_BBB | BS_BBB (party and Business System)
    4. Receiver determination: sender AD2_200, receiver party: PA_BBB, receiver component: BS_BBB
    5. Receiver agreement: sender AD2_200, receiver party: PA_BBB, receiver component: BS_BBB
        Header mapping: sender comm party: PA_AAA, receiver comm party: PA_BBB
    6. Communication channel (HTTP):  CC_HTTP_RCV_BBB
        Identifiers: sender agency: BS_BBB ALE#LI, receiver agency: BS_BBB ALE#KU
    When we send an IDoc with SNDPRN=AD2_200, RCVPRN=DE217560, RCVPRT=KU, SAPXI doesn't seem to find receiver determination, iinterface determination and receiver agreement

      <SAP:AdditionalText>No receiver agreement found for , AD2_200, PA_BBB, , urn:sap-  com:document:sap:idoc:messages,
    Can someone explain why these parties have to be indicated in all these different places (the party descriptions, the receiver agreement, the communication channel), and why the receive determination with receiver party PA_BBB is not found, although it is created and refreshed in the cache ?

    I am also facing same issue when using 2 parties. Could you please let me know if you got solution for this?

  • Problem with an Receiver Idoc adapter

    Hi.
    We have just went from XI 3.0 to PI.7.10.
    The Receiver idoc adapter is set up in the same way as it was in XI.
    The problem is when two different interfaces runs at the same time I got data into the DC40-record which not belongs too this idoc but from an another interface/idoc.
    The idocs are different messagetypes.
    In this case the field MESCOD which belongs to one of the idocs also appered in the idoc where the field MESCOD not should be used.
    Any idea whats wrong ?
    /Per-Arne

    Thanks.
    Checked sxmb_moni as you said.
    In the OutboundBinding-node I can see the right idocadapter is used
    where 'Apply Control Record Values from Payload' is enabled.
    <SAP:ChannelName>IDOC_INBOUND_U01_110</SAP:ChannelName>
    In the IdocOutbound-node I can see the message code 'EXT' which should'nt be there.
    - <SAP:IDocOutbound xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30">
      <SAP:TABNAM>EDI_DC40</SAP:TABNAM>
      <SAP:MANDT>001</SAP:MANDT>
      <SAP:DOCREL>710</SAP:DOCREL>
      <SAP:DOCNUM>0000000000033474</SAP:DOCNUM>
      <SAP:DIRECT>2</SAP:DIRECT>
      <SAP:IDOCTYP>OILLDD01</SAP:IDOCTYP>
      <SAP:CIMTYP />
      <SAP:MESTYP>OILLDD</SAP:MESTYP>
      <SAP:MESCOD>EXT</SAP:MESCOD>
    Too be more specific about the interface.:
    I got one file in from a file adapter and out of that file I produce two idocs into R3 whit
    two different idocs-adapters.
    I think you are right about that the configuration may be mixed up.
    Any idea of what I can do?
    It may be an PI 7.10 bug ?
    Shall I delete all config objects and so set config up from scrach again ?

  • Adapter Module for receiver IDOC adapter?

    Hi,
    I have a scenario where i need to do some custom logging in the receiver adapters. For all receiver file adapters, i have written an adapter module which fulfills this custom requirement but how will i do this in the receiver IDOC adapter as its on the ABAP stack? I cannot write a java adapter module for this.
    Is there anyway by which i can write a ABAP adapter mosule and deploy it in the IDOC adapter? Or any other way to achive it. the scenario is such that i need to do the logging before the idoc is posted into R/3 system by the idoc adapter.
    Please advice.
    Regards,
    Yash

    Hi Chirag,
    Yes i have seen that the module tab is disabled for idoc adapter. I have a fin interface where i need to split a incoming file into an idoc and a file. For this purpose i need to log how many records are received by each adapter and the sum of the line items for audit perspose.
    any othr way to do it apart from doing it in message mapping. The req is to do in the adapter engine.

  • Why do we require Receiver IDoc Adapter wen Sender IDoc Adapter is not req?

    Hi All,
    We require Receiver IDoc Adapter( if the receiving System is R/3 and uses IDoc) but when sending BS uses IDoc, Sender IDoc Adapter is not required since it resides in ABAP  Stack. So, can anyone explain me as why do we need to configure Receiver IDoc adapter?

    Hi,
    Both the sender and receiver IDoc transmission is done by the RFC communication channel.
    In case of the sender IDoc, partner profile configuration in the sender system will tell for a particular IDoc type which port should be used. This port will have the details of the RFC channel to be used to deliver the IDoc.
    However, in case of SAP XI/PI system we don't configure partner profile and hence we need a way to tell which port & RFC destination should be used to deliver the IDoc and hence we define a receiver aggrement and adapter. This is just used as a reference at rutime and unlike the other adapter, this receiver IDoc adapter doe's not process any message over Adapter engine.
    Hope this helps...!!!!

  • IDoc-Tunneling -- No Receiver Agreement

    Hi, i am trying to do the IDoc-Tunneling scenario from Michal.
    Well everything looks fine so far except that i get following error:
    +<SAP:Error xmlns:SAP="http://sap.com/xi/XI/Message/30" xmlns:SOAP="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" SOAP:mustUnderstand="">

      <SAP:Retry>M</SAP:Retry>
      </SAP:Error>+
    Well i have Receiver Agreement that looks like:
    Sender Service: Q01CLNT010
    Receiver Service: EDI
    Interface: DELFOR.DELFOR02
    Namespace: urn:sap-com:document:sap:idoc:messages
    CC: IDOC_RECEIVER_EDI
    In this Receiver-CC i also activated
    - Apply Control Record Values
    - Take sender from payload
    However, i have no clue what is wrong.
    Can somebody help? br Jens

    Hi Jens
    (6) Error Category - CO_TXT_OUTBINDING_NOT_FOUND
    The problem is in Technical routing.
    Check whether the receiver determination and interface determination objects are active in change lists tab. If they are not active, activate the objects.
    check the if the receiver determination and interface determination objects are referenced to the same namespace or not. Sender and receiver interface objects should always refer to the same Namespace.
