Idoc to file problem

I am doing idoc to file scenario.
1.i have just mapped to 6 feilds from IDOC.....but while executing IDOC..i get 20 fields frm R3....will that cretae a problem....Because i have not mapped to thos fields of the receiver...
2.while executing the mapping program in IR,it succesfully executes...but in sxmb_moni,it throws an error saying mapping exception....

Hi,
On receiver side you have head ,tail and body segments.
You need to map these with the header nodes of IDOC corresponding to teh fields
for e.g.
If in IDOC, you have segment1 having three fields field1, field2, field3 etc.
Then if you need to map the field1 with target side field under header segment -->field1.
then the target side Header segment should be mapped to segment1 of IDOC.
if the fields from Segment1 are used to map with head as well as tail segments of target..then you can multi-map both head and trail with segment1.
Thanks

    Hi sudeer,
    Did You Check It In WE19.(Test Tool For Idoc Processing)
    If Not Do The Following Steps:
    <u><b>Step1:</b></u>
      >>      Give Your Existing Idoc Number.
    <u><b>Step 2:</b></u>
      >>      Basic Type is Your Message type.
            Ex: MATMAS05 or CREMAS05.
    <u><b>Step 3:</b></u>
      >>      In Your Existing MATMAS05 or CREMAS05 Structure say EDIDC,
      >>      You Should Fill  Your Mapped Entries In Data Structure of EDIDC.
      >>      So that Those Fields Gets Framed as Segments.
    <u><b>Step 4:</b></u>
      >>      After Doing It goto  Menu Bar and Click Idoc And Goto  Edit Control Record.
    <u><b>Step 5:</b></u>
      >>      Now You Give Your Sender And Receiver Port Number Along With Your
            Logical System And Message Type again its Your MATMAS05  or
           CREMAS05 .
    <u><b>Step 6:</b></u>
      >>      After Doing It Click Standard Outbound Processing.
    <u><b>Step 7:</b></u>
      >>      It Will Say what Happened To your Idoc.
    <u><b>Step 8:</b></u>
      >>     It Is For Sure That if This Processing Fails It Wont Go To XI..

  • Idoc to file problem with DynamicConfiguration

    HI SAP Guru's
    I have a iDoc to File scenario and the output file requirement is bit tricky.
    output file should be xx_Region_iDoc Number_YYYYMMDDHHMMSS
    I been through couple of blogs but non of them mentioned about the iDoc all of them showed the about the FileName in FileAdapter.
    I believe it is only possibly via Dynamic configuration.
    I need to extract E1EDKA1/LAND1, DOCNUM from Source IDoc Structure and then concat it with Date and generate the output file name.
    I cannot even get the iDoc Number i.e. DOCNUM via Dynamic Configuration.
    I was trying this method but it didn't work.
    DynamicConfiguration conf = (DynamicConfiguration) container.getTransformationParameters().get(StreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION);
    DynamicConfigurationKey key = DynamicConfigurationKey.create("http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/IDoc","DOCNUM");
    String ourSourceFileName = conf.get(key);
    return  ourSourceFileName;
    Can somebody please let me know how to achieve this and how?

    Hi Rodrigo,
    I have done the UDF with 3 inputs and mapped it with header of Target side and now would like to know about the setting in File Adapter.
    1. Could tell me what do I need to write in "File Name Scheme" , I am using *.xml , is it right?
    2. I also check the Use Adapter Specific Message Attributes,
        Fail if Adapter-Specific Message Attributes Missing
        FileName
    Could you please tell me is there anything else I need to do because I have been through couple of blogs and all of them mentioned about File but not about the IDoc.
    DynamicConfigurationKey key = DynamicConfigurationKey.create(u201Chttp://sap.com/xi/XI/System/Fileu201D,u201CFileNameu201D);
    Except you who mentioned this
    DynamicConfigurationKey key = DynamicConfigurationKey.create("http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/IDoc",fileName);
    I am bit confused about the FileName because there is no FileName in IDoc;
    I found these information in IDoc Dynamic Configuration

  • FIle Content Conversion Problem in IDOC-XI-File Scenario

    Dear All,
    I am doing IDOC-XI-FILE scenario.
    I am facing one problem related to File Content Coversion.My requirement was to generate a dynamic file like <b>%store_code%_%current_date%_sitemaster.xml</b> , I have completed the dynamic generation successfully .
    Now there is slight change in the requirement ,<b>we have to suppress the current_date node of the xml content</b> . i have tried to suppress the current_date using these <b>DATE.fieldFixedLengths 0 , Date.fixedLengthTooShortHandling Cut</b> , But I am unable to suppress it Can some body provide me the details on this .
    The output xml version generated by Reciever file adapter is as below :
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    - <ns0:MT_SITE_MASTER xmlns:ns0="http://sample-xitest.com/sitemaster">
    - <SITE_DATA>
    <STORE_CODE>N002</STORE_CODE>
    <TITLE_MEDI>Company</TITLE_MEDI>
    <STORE_NAME>Mount Road</STORE_NAME>
    <STREET>Chennai</STREET>
    <COUNTRY>IN</COUNTRY>
    <SALES_TAX_NO>12345678910</SALES_TAX_NO>
    </SITE_DATA>
    </ns0:MT_SITE_MASTER>
    Plz provide me the code I have to write in the file content conversion .
    Thanks in advance
    Regards
    Prabhat

    If u see my earlier reply, I mentioned that u can not suppress the field from the one node.i.e Form SITE_DATA data type u can not suppress the field called CURRENT_DATE.
    My suggestion is that , modify the Data type in such a way that you will be having two nodes as I have mentioned earlier.  Then use the Suppress Logic for the Current Date.
    So it will look like this-
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" ?>
    - <ns0:MT_SITE_MASTER xmlns:ns0="http://sample-xitest.com/sitemaster">
    - <SITE_DATA>
    <STORE_CODE>N002</STORE_CODE>
    <TITLE_MEDI>Company</TITLE_MEDI>
    <STORE_NAME>Mount Road</STORE_NAME>
    <STREET>Chennai</STREET>
    <COUNTRY>IN</COUNTRY>
    <SALES_TAX_NO>12345678910</SALES_TAX_NO>
    </SITE_DATA>
    <CURR_DATE>
       <CURRENT_DATE>20051105</CURRENT_DATE>
    </CURR_DATE>
    </ns0:MT_SITE_MASTER>
    So ur SITE_DATA is not having a field called CURRENT_DATE. This field is in separate node (segment ) called CURR_DATE. Now u can use the Suppress Logic for the same like this.
    CURR_DATE.fieldFixedLengths - 0
    CURR_DATE.fixedLengthTooShortHanling - Cut
    And in your Variable Substitution you can use the date from the other segment called CURR_DATE.
    Hope this solves ur problem.

    Moorthy

  • Problem in idoc to file scenario

    hi
    while creating the idoc to file scenario i am facing few problems.
    1) My design time objects are working fine. i have checked my message mapping, message interface etc.. (all design time objects are in active mode).
    2) In ID, i have tested my configuration in test configuration, its working fine there as well (in ID i am using 2 business service one for sender, one for receiver)
    3) i am using my ecc6 training server as my sender and using my XI server as receiver.
    4) i am sending idoc from ecc6 and converting it  to file in XI server and saving it in XI server itself(my receiver in this case).
    my error:
    i send my idoc from we19 transaction, and i see a error message stating
    that 'RCVR_DETERMINATION.NO_RECEIVER_CASE_ASYNC'
    my doubts.
    1) while sending the idoc from ecc6, is it mandatory to give process code in partner profile ( that is, assign an outbound function module to push the created idoc to the mentioned destination).
    2) also is it mandatory to have a partner profile on the receiver side( XI in this case) along with inbound process code.
    3) in my receiver adapter ( file adatper in this case ) i have used NFS protocal. is it rite?
    kindly help me with this issue.

  • IDoc to File scenario Monitoring Problem

    Hi,
    I have a problem in monitoring. In my IDoc to file scenario the ftp server is not reachable (wrong ip) but still in sxmb_moni I get a successful processed message with acknowledgement system error.
    Now, why dont I get an normal error in sxmb_moni?
    Thanks in advance...

    Hi,
    >>Now, why dont I get an normal error in sxmb_moni?
    Why because in MONI we generally get the Errors related to the Message Processing like mapping, and pipe line Services.
    But the error which u got is related to the Receiver, so this we can find out in the Receiver File Adapter monitoring( CC monitoring)
    MONI Shows the Errors those are related to the ABAP Satck means if any Errors occurs while going the process on ABAP Stack
    But the error which u got is on Adapter Engine Process, so Definately the Error finding place is on Receiver CC monitoring

    Hi,
    in my scenario (Z-IDOC - XI - File) I have problems with the mapping:

    __L062 87000 XXX XXX
    __L062 87000 XX1 XAA4

    Do I need here a BPM? Or should I use XSLT-Mapping??
    Or knows somebody a easyer way?
    Regards
    Christoph

    Hi,
    As per  my understanding to have a flat file struture you would require a flat structure at the target side.One similar to the second structure mentioned by you.
    DT_Target
    |_Header
           |______L61.....segment (child of header)
           |______L62.....segment (child of header)
    Using the mapping we convert the idoc structure to flat structure and then use content conversion like this :
    Recordset structure : L61,L62
    L61.fieldSeparator = ,(for you this value should be space)
    L62.fieldSeparator = ,
    I have not been able to convert the Target hierarchial structure to a flat file via content conversion.
    when i tried I got the values as
    L61,1800,...EUR,L62,8700,......
    Hope this helps,
    Regards,
    Sulakshana

    Hi Experts,
    I am doing a idoc to file scenario...
    There is a single idoc with multiple header and line items .
    I am using multi mapping for header and lineitems.
    The problem i am facing is regarding the occurences in target strucure...
    at which level they should be specified so all the headers come in one strucure and line items in another...or should the occurences be o to unbounded at each field level.
    Kindly help me regarding the same ...

    2. how to map the idoc fields to my file DT..do i need to map parent to parent and child to child...or different.
    plz help me out

    the problem is ...the same BPM contains another transformation step which contains a message mapping (which is not multi mapping), and here the code (UDF) works to fetch the file name...
    the code is all correct....and it looks like

  • Mapping Problem  ( IDoc to File  )

    Hi,
    I am working on Idoc to file scenario...My input and output structures like below...
    Idoc:
    ZOrderInfo        1----99999
        OrderNumber 0---1
         ZItem       1----99999
         Quantity       0---1
    File:
    Item
       OrderNumber  0-1
       Quantity         0-1
    Problem :  I need to produce Item nodes in output structure based on OrderNumber. like for 4 order numbers in source need to 4 Item segments.
    a) Summation:  If any duplicate Ordernumber comes in picture...we need to omit that and need to take the quantity from that...do summation and send to target.
    like OrderNumber -1...quantity -10 and Ordernumber -1 ....quantity -20
    Need to produce only one ordernumber -1 with the quantity of 10+20 =30.
    b) If the Ordernumber not present in any segment....Need to pass the quantity as is...
    any suggestions would be appreciated.

    Sunil,
    Note:   In this input Idoc - It has 3 segments, 2 segments have same ordernumber and 1 segment doesn't have order number.
    And I am expecting two Item nodes in output structure - One with quantities summation (500 +500 =1000) for the same order number and One with no ordernumber and quantity as is (600).

  • Problem : Idoc to File scneario using Party ..!!

    Hi ,
    lam doing Idoc to file scenario by using party.
    Partner type for receiving system is "LS".
    1. when I use Party for my sending system , the message is not processing showing error as " No receiver could be determined"
    2. When I use the sending system as Without Party and the receiving system as Party,the message is processing.
    Questions:
    1. We should not use Party for the sender system when the partner type is "LS"??
    2. Can we use the Party for my sending system when the partner type is "LI" or "KU".?
    If yes, Do i need to do any Identifier settings in communication channels or at Party side like ALE#KU or ALE#LI??
    Please clarify the main question whether can i use party for my SAP system when the partner type is "LS" for outbound scenario(Idoc to file).
    Waiting for your answers.
    Regards
    Krupakar.

    Hi,''
    a SLD registration of DUMMY system for every Party
    1. We should not use Party for the sender system when the partner type is "LS"??
    The only way I know is to make a Dummy system in the SLD with a LS, which I can use in the headermapping of the receiver agreement.
    You could use pratner type as LS enven for party, but there no need as such because you could do this as per below steps also
    it is not possible to have a logical system within a service, that belongs to a party. Any entries you are doing here, are ignored.
    2. Can we use the Party for my sending system when the partner type is "LI" or "KU".?
    If yes, Do i need to do any Identifier settings in communication channels or at Party side like ALE#KU or ALE#LI??
    Yes you can use the Party for sending system for LI or KU, You difinately need to setup the identifiers for it.
    Usually an IDOC which is received from a customer should have a sender type LI or KU.
    A workaround for your problem: For each service that belongs to a party create a party-less service with the logical system and do a header mapping. You need not maintain this service in the SLD. Just create a business service.
    If the field SNDPRT contains LS, the service is a logical system and the sender party remains blank.
    If it is not a logical system, a party is determined by means of the alternative identifiers (for the party). The following are used as identifiers:
    ·        Agency is the sender service found
    ·        Scheme is “ALE#“ + SNDPRT. If the field SNDPFC contains a value, the following is added: “#“ + SNDPFC
    ·        Name is SNDPRN
    These values are used to search across all parties. The party that is found is used as the sender party.
