  • IDOC---XI----SOAP(Webservice) Sync

    Experts,
    Need to Develop IDOC-XI--SOAP(Webservice) Sync Communication Interface
    I have  importing the Standard Idoc & External Def  for WSDL ,which has the Request & Response Structure.
    I need to handle the SYNC message in the XI  and ignore it/ do not pass to the source system.
    Any Weblog will help ,

    Hi Edward,
    Follow the steps given below
    In IR create following objects:
    1: Import Web Service definition file in External Definition.
    2: Import IDoc ZDLVRY. (I have used custom IDoc)
    3: Create Message Interface
         a. Abstract Synchronous for sender
         b. Abstract Synchronous for Receiver
         c. Abstract Asynchronous for request
         d. Abstract Asynchronous for response
    4. Create Message Mapping for Source Request to Target Request
    5. Create Message Mapping for Target Response to Source Response.
    6. Create Interface mapping and specify proper input in request and response tab.
    7. Create Integration Process
    Configuration in ID:
    1. Create Integration Process for BPM created in IR.
    2. Create receiver determination
        a. From SAP R/3 to Integration Process
        b. From Integration Process to Third Party (Web Service)
        c. From Integration Process to SAP R/3

  • Reg File- Webservice Async-Sync bridge

    Hi,
    I have File -WS async-Sync scenario.
    I have configured the RequestResponseBean-CallSAP-ResponseOnewayBean in my sender CC
    When i execute the scenario, the sender channel is throwing Error: java.lang.NullPointerException
    When i check the sender channel log, the SOAP call is executing, then
    MP: processing local module localejbs/AF_Modules/ResponseOnewayBean,
    MP: processing local module localejbs/AF_Modules/ResponseOnewayBean,
    MP: exception caught with cause java.lang.NullPointerException,
    File processing failed with java.lang.NullPointerException.
    Is there any thing specific to be configured while using File adapter.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
       How is the WebService sync-Async implemented are you using any aysnc-sync bridge...
    is that process returning the response back in the correct format.. ?

  • SOAP to RFC - Sync Scenario. How to find where the response is going to?

    Hello All
    I have a SOAP to RFC sync scenario.
    In SXMB_MONI,  i see that both the initial message and the response message are successfully processed.
    But, the SOAP sender is not receiving the response message.
    How can i trouble shoot this scenario? How can i findout what is going wrong?
    Most importantly, How can i find out the web address of the SOAP sender? I do not see it anywhere.
    Thanks

    Hi Chandra,
    Please check this blog.
    /people/shabarish.vijayakumar/blog/2008/01/08/troubleshooting--rfc-and-soap-scenarios-updated-on-20042009
    You can by pass your message through a TCPIP gateway , this will help you to see the message contnet and the SOAP header information.
    TCPIPGW application is availabel in one of the SAP notes for Monitoring SOAP adapter. and 2 SAP SDN PI  blogs are also there on how to use this application...

  • Soap to proxy : sync scenario

    Hi
    Have a new PI 7.1 system , wanted to do a soap to proxy sync scenario
    Do i need to create business system for proxies or if I just create 2 business services: one for sender and other for reciever ,it would suffice?
    Is there any advantage / dsiadvantage if I use Business service instead of Business systems?
    In SLD if I just create a product /swcv : it should be good if I want to use Business service mechanism instead of Business syste, ? or is creating Technical system and Business system mandatory even if I have to configure scnearios using Business service
    Thnx

    Business Systems require technical systems/software components and products, from an organisational perspective in PI it might be a good idea to define these things for an external entity (Business System). As far as Im aware business Services do not have that same requirment.
    I tend to limit business service usage to one off or simple interaction B2B, as soon as you have more than one adapter interacting with the same external entity a business system with all of "their" adapters will help keep things clear to other people configuring integration scenario's. Whilst smart naming standard will get you around this most of the time, it makes more sense to put them together under the one system.
    Hope this helps.

  • Async/Sync scenario idocs- soap

    Greetings All,
             I have a scenario (on PI 7.1) where i needs to send a ZIDOC data from ECC to external web service. The web service returns response back on successfully processing the data. There is no need to update anything received from the response back to ECC (response is just a record no).
         Is it possible to achieve this without using BPM?
    (Note: I am using Java mapping to develop SOAP envelope after message mapping, as I need to add some parameter to soap header of request structure)
        I am ready with scenario (without BPM), the operation Mapping is having idoc at sender side and service interface which soap wsdl on receiver side. I did not have any mapping from response to ECC. I am not sure if it going to be work for me or not.
    I am waiting for your inputs/help and will be appreciated.
    Many Thanks,
    Sandip

    >>>Is it possible to achieve this without using BPM?
    Yes. It is possible to do idoc to soap without using BPM. You basically want asynchronous scenario.
    >>> I am not sure if it going to be work for me or not.
    >>>I am waiting for your inputs/help and will be appreciated.
    Theoratically you can ignore the response from webservice by not doing response mapping. You might see some errors  that message got interrupted in Integration Engine. I guess

    Hi,
    Please go through all the settings for the modules once again - check for any space or other such character present or if some name is not correctly specified.
    If you still get the error, then make some change to the channel and re-activate.
    Also, make sure you are following the below sequence in the sender file channel-
    ModuleName                                                   Type              ModuleKey
    AF_Modules/RequestResponseBean      Local Enterprise Bean     1
    CallSapAdapter                                        Local Enterprise Bean     2

  • Proxy-Soap-Jdbc  Async/Sync Bridge

    Hi,
    I have proxy soap requestsoap response-jdbc syncronous scenario. i have used async/Sync bridge for that.
    I m getting NO_RECEIVER_CASE_ASYNC, No receiver could be determined error.
    I have created :
    2 Datatype for proxy sender and jdbc receiver and 2 MT
    6 Service interface :
            one abastract syncronous for proxy sender and jdbc receiver
            one abstract asyncronus for proxy sender
            one outbound asyncrous for proxy sender
            one abstract asyncronus for jdbc receiver
            one inbound asysncronus for jdbc receiver
            one abstract syncronous for SOAP request and response
    2 message mapping for request and response
    1 operation mapping  using  abastract syncronous for proxy sender and jdbc receiver with   abstract syncronous for SOAP request and response
    BPM steps
    two container request and response
    receiver- send1- send2
    receiver for asyncrous and file request
    send1 for syncrouns for request and response
    send2 for asyncrouns response.
    Activated the IR.
    ID Part.
    Imported BPM from Design and created two business component one for SOAP receiver and one for proxy sender and jdbc receiver.
    Created 3 Reciver Determination as proxy sender to bpm, bpm to soap, bpm to jdbc receiver.
    Created 3 IInterface Determination as proxy sender to bpm, bpm to soap, bpm to jdbc receiver.
    Created 2 Receiver Agreement as  bpm to soap, bpm to jdbc receiver
    Activated and run the proxy . in sxmb_moni i m getthing No receiver could be determined error.
    I have checked the BPM ,No semantic errors found.
    cleared the cache with sxi_cache and full refresh url.
    Please suggest me with above details.
    Regards
    Laxmi Bhushan Jha

    like in operation mapping we have abstract syncronous interface which has proxy as sender and jdbc as response
    receiver to SOAP reuest and response...
    Either of us seem to be confused!
    This is your scenario (as per my understanding)
    Receive (Proxy_message) --> Transformation --> Send (Mode = Sync...SOAP message) --> Transformation --> Send (mode = Async..JDBC req)
    If the requirement is correctly understood by me then:
    You should have one ASYNC-Outbound and ASYNC-Abstract interface for your Proxy-side.....proxy to be developed on the ASYNC-Out interface.
    You should have a SYNC-ABS and SYNC-IN interface for SOAP req and resp.
    You should have one ASYNC-IN and ASYNC-ABS interface for your JDBC side.
    Mapping to be developed between PROXY_Async and SOAP_Req_Async & SOAP_Resp_Async and JDBC_Async.

    Abhishek.

  • How to capture SOAPFault in an Async/Sync Scenario without BPM

    Hello friends,
    My scenario is ECC (async) to SOAP (sync) and back to ECC (async = ALEAUD). I'm using aync/sync bridge is receiver SOAP adapter.
    My scenario works fine with a normal response but when I get a SOAPFault as a response I get the following error in de receiver SOAP adapter:
    Message processing failed. Cause:
    com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.ConfigException: No sender agreement configured that matches the message's header fields (sender party: "", sender service: "NONSAP", interface: "urn:test,  SII_Test_Sync", receiver party: "", receiver service: "BS_ECC")
    The configuration of my receiver SOAP adapter looks like this:
    Did I use parameters interfaceOnFault and interfaceNamespaceOnFault correctly?
    Your help is greatly appreciated,
    Kind regards,
    John

    Hi Nilesh,
    sorry for the delay. What I found every time i used the option "DO NOT use SOAP envelope is checked" is that the envelope is removed from request and response/fault messages as well. To solve those kind of errors I developed a module called ReplaceString. What this module does is to replace a string with another one passed as parameter. What do I archive with this? Well I sometimes use this module to include some parts in the xml message before it gets in PI. For example, lets say you receive something like this:
    <FaultMessage>
    <standard>
         <faultText>
         <faultUrl>
         <faultDetail>
              <severity>High</severity>
              <text>This is an error</text>
              <url></url>
              <id></id>
         </faultDetail>
    </standard>
    </FaultMessage>
    and you are expecting something like this:
    <soap:Envelope
    xmlns:soap="http://www.w3.org/2001/12/soap-envelope"
    soap:encodingStyle="http://www.w3.org/2001/12/soap-encoding">
    <FaultMessage>
    <standard>
         <faultText>
         <faultUrl>
         <faultDetail>
              <severity>High</severity>
              <text>This is an error</text>
              <url></url>
              <id></id>
         </faultDetail>
    </standard>
    </FaultMessage>
    </soap:Envelope>
    You could use this module to replace the following strings:
    <FaultMessage>
    by
    <soap:Envelope
    xmlns:soap="http://www.w3.org/2001/12/soap-envelope"
    soap:encodingStyle="http://www.w3.org/2001/12/soap-encoding"><FaultMessage>
    And
    </FaultMessage>
    by
    </FaultMessage></soap:Envelope>
    If you find it useful, I can paste the code of the module here.
    Regards!

  • SOAP to RFC sync scenario

    Hello members:
    we have a business scenario: SOAP to RFC sync
    an external system (ABC) sends documentrequest thru XI SOAP adapter and makes an RFC call to a BAPI and gets back the resposne to the ABC system.we are handling 4 mappings. 1. request msg to a common msg 2. common msg to BAPI request3.bapi response to common msg 4. common msg to response msg(which is same as the req msg)
    i have the request msg and common msg as external definitions. I did the following steps and wanted to
    know if i am right.
    1. there are no data type & msg type needed for this
    2.  4 msg interfaces
    i)  document o/b sysnc
    ii) document i/b sync
    iii)common o/b sync
    iiii) common i/b sync
    3) 4 mappings
    i) document to common
    ii) common to bapi req
    iii) bapi resp to common
    iiii) common to req/response
    4) 3 intf mappings
    source intf**********               target intf
    i)document o/b               common o/b uses mapping #1
    ii)request :common i/b         bapi i/b  uses mapping #2
       resposne:bapi i/b           common i/b uses mapping #3
    iii) common i/b             document i/b uses mapping # 4
    pls provide your inputs if my approach is rite? do i need to have 4 msg intefaces?has any made mappings where 4 mappings are involved ( without BPM)
    Thanks in advance

    Hi,
    I think you will have only 2 interfaces.
    1. Sync Outbound interface (SOAP Structure)
        Two message types Req and Res
    2. Sync Inbound interface (RFC Structure)
        Two message types Req and Res
    Then two message mapping
    1. SOAP Request  to RFC Request
    2. RFC Response to SOAP Response
    and finally one Interface mapping.
    Thanks,
    Prakash

  • Error from BPE Adapter using in Async Sync scenario

    Hi,
    I'm trying to use a Asyn Sync pattern with BPM:
    1)File adapter get a file from AS400, split it several XML messages and send to XI(Async)
    2)XI get each message and forward to BPM using XI adapter
    3)BPM has to send the message to R/3 via BAPI (Sync)
    4)R/3 reply the result message to BPM(Sync)
    5)BPM has to send the result message to e-mail system if an error had occurred in BAPI call (Async)
    When I send directly from File adapter to R/3 works like a charm, but when I want use the BPM, a soap header error says to me, that cannot identify a data type that I’m using in the message sent by File adapter.
    The error that I'm getting is BPE Adapter UNKNOWN_MESSAGE in soap header.
    Regards,
    Eduardo

    I got the same problem after installing new patches.
    This is what I had to do:
    Go to SXI_CACHE
    - Choose Business Processes
    - select your Buisness Process
    If your buisness process has Return Code 99
    - Click "Repeate Activate" button
    - On the next screen, click Activate again.
    This worked for me. Good Luck!

  • Async-Sync scenario with out using BPM

    Hi All,
    With SP19 we can implement File-RFC-File scenario with out using BPM.
    But can any one suggest how can I implement the following File-RFC-File scenario without using BPM.
    My input file has five elements. A1,A2,A3,A4,A5
    The RFC (BAPI) needs A2 and A3 as input and it produces the output R6.
    Now in the destination I need to populate D1,D2,D3,D4,D5,D6.
    D1 has to be mapped from A1 and so on till fifth element. D6 will be mapped from R6. In order to achieve this we need to store the value of source interface before calling the RFC so that when we get the response back we can populate the entire destination structure.
    Can anyone advise how to go about it. I don't want to use a BPM here.
    Thanks
    Abinash

  • Stuck in BPM Transformation process Async to Sync Scenario

    Hi there im building up a   R/3 ---> Idoc PI -
    >Soap  3rd Party   Async/Sync Scenario,
    on the integration process window i drag a transformation box to change my input idoc to the structure the Webservice needs, but i cant import it, i tried to make a new one using the abstract interfaces im using but it tells me i cant transform an Async Interface ( Idoc ) to an Sync Interface ( Webservice ), any sugestions?, i can provide everything i have done up to date regarding interfaces mappings and stuff if needed, thx!!!,
    Roberto.

    but it tells me i cant transform an Async Interface ( Idoc ) to an Sync Interface ( Webservice ), any sugestions
    You cannot perform a mapping between an Async MI and a Sync MI....not only for a BPM but even in general
    Your BPM should have below steps:
    Receive(IDOC)-> Transformation(IDOC_to_SOAPReq...both Async)-> SyncSend(SOAPReq and SOAPResp Messages)
    You need below Container elements in your BPM:
    1 for receiving the IDOC
    1 for the SOAPReq message
    1 for the SOAPResp message
    You cannot have a Container element for Sync Interface.....you include the ABS Sync MI directly in the SyncSend step and then will get Request and Response fields (automatically)....here specify the SOAPReq and SOAPResp Container elements.......
    Your Interface Mapping will be between MI_IDOC_ABS and MI_SOAPReq_ABS......and then you can inlcude this in the Transformation step
    Just a question to ask....what are you going to do once you receive the SOAPResp message?

    Abhishek.

    Hi,
    Instead of using a JMS adapter can you try this with a File Adapter on the sender side?
    It worked for me with a File adapter or alternately try looking into this blog if it helps ( not sure if it will  tho)
