IDOC to XML and send it to SAP SCM SNC(Supplier network colloboration)

I am currently working in a project which I need to send the PO IDOC to PI (which is working fine) and convert it to xml and send it to SNC system which is SAP SCM system. I am not sure if this is going to be an IDOC or xml , I wasn't given more information as all of us are new to this SNC environment. Any help would highly appreciated.
Thanks,
Menaga

Following are the interface mappings in use for the Purchase Order scenario from ERP to SNC
1. create purchase order -> display PO (ERP to SNC)
OrdersOrders05_ReplenishmentOrderNotification_01
2. Create or change PO -> Display updated PO (ERP to SNC)
OrdchgOrders05_ReplenishmentOrderNotification_01
3. Confirm PO or change in web UI (SNC to ERP)
ReplenishmentOrderConfirmation_OrdrspOrders05_01
4. Create or Change Purchase Order -> Receive and Display Purchase Order     (ERP to SNC)
OrdntfOrdint01_ReplenishmentOrderNotification_01
Just configure the Integration scenario "MaintainPurchase_Order_Processing" from http://sap.com/xi/SNC/Global namespace present in SNC 5.1 SWC
in your ID.
In SNC Scenarios Idocs will be sent and received from ERP and ABAP Proxies (Client/ Server) used at SNC side. You do not have to code for the ABAP Proxies as the proxies will already be inmplemented in your SNC system.
So 1. configure your SNC system for ABAP Proxy configuration
2. Configure the Integration scenario "MaintainPurchase_Order_Processing" in ID
3. Configure your ERP system for IDoc send/ receive
You are done.

  • Conversion of purchasing idoc to xml and sending with FTP to supplier

    Hello,
    I have a question about something i am not very familar with. And i could not find the answer in this forum.
    We have a supplier who wants to receive our orders by EDI.
    The plan is to convert the IDOC to XML and to send this XML by FTP to our supplier.
    Could anyone give me some hints to achieve this.
    usefull help will be rewarded.

    Hi,
    1. Create XML port in WE21.
    2. Configer the partner profile in WE20 for required message type.
    3. Access the file by using transaction AL11.

  • SAP SNC Supplier Network Collaboration integration with SAP ERP via BizTalk - experiences?

    Hello,
    had anybody experience in integration of SAP SNC Supplier Network  Collaboration with SAP ERP via BizTalk Server?
    Versions: SAP ECC 6.0 Ehp5 SPS11, SAP SNC  current version (7.0?)
    We will have to integrate following processes:
    Master Data integration, PO Purchase Order, Forecast, SMI Supplier Managed Inventory
    Usually SAP takes an SAP PI middleware for this, where the full implementation can be downloaded from the SAP marketplace, but we want to avoid having an additional Integration Platform with maintenance etc.
    Are there experiences, success stories, pitfalls, issues to be known, recommendations, known efforts in this forum?
    Thanks in advance.

  • SAP BW data in ODS to XML and sending this XML file to 3rd Party

    Hi Gurus,
    We are having a scenario in which we have to convert our data in ODS to XML and need to provide this XML file to our clients so that they can use this XML file in their 3rd party system.
    Now the issue is that i have created ABAP program for converting into XML.
    If I execute this program, since i have given path as my Desktop, the converted XML file gets saved on my Desktop.
    But the problem is how i can provide this XML file to the client.
    Is there any way of converting this XML file to html and send them the URL ......
    plz suggest me.... what can be done......
    my ABAP code u can see in the following link

  • Using ABAP Web Service tor convert IDoc to XML and transfer to SOAP Server

    Hi all,
    I have a problem to use ABAP Web Service to convert IDoc's to XML and then send them to a SOAP Server.
    Currently we have the following landscape:
    SAP->XI->Archive
    The sap-system (ECC6.0) sends an IDoc to the Exchange Infrastructe. The XI maps the IDoc and converts it to the required XML format, used by the archive. Afterwards, the XML documents are sended to the SOAP Server.
    So I'm trying to replace the Exchange Infrastructure with ABAP Web Service.
    I've read a lot of posts and documents reagarding ABAP Web Serivce, converting IDoc's to XML, RFC and so on, but I'm not able to do the replacement.
    I don't know how to start and which steps are required.
    The required roles and authorizations at the sap-system and the service for soamanager and the Web Service Viewer are available.
    First I thought to create the RFC and partner profiles and then the report to convert IDoc to XML as a BAPI. With this BAPI I supposed to create and define a Web Service. The problem is, I don't know how to trigger the report if the Idoc should be send to the archive.
    Hopefully, someone has an idea or a how-to for me.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Christoph

    Hi BigTicket.
    A suggestion to trigger the BAPI / WebService at the IDoc receiving is to use a user exit or enhanced inside the idoc function module. When the idoc arrived to the idoc port the system start the related function module and then your user exit/enhanced in which you invoke your BAPI.
    I hope this help.
    Ciao.

  • Need to grab the data from Web Page and send it to SAP using PI

    Hello Experts,
    I need to grab the exchanges rates from the below link.
    http://www.cbr.ru/scripts/XML_daily.asp?date_req=09-06-2011.
    This link returns an XML . I need to get the data from this XML page and post it to SAP ECC using PI.
    My requirement is that, process should start from the ECC and grabs the data from the web page which gives you the XML and post this data into ECC using PI. We have a RFC written in ECC side to post the data in ECC.
    Please help me to identify the adaptor's needed and what should I need to do to initiate the process from ECC.
    Would it be a Async or Sync process ?
    I would really appreciate the inputs.
    Thanks.
    Gaurav.

    Hi,
         Any particular reason that you want to go for a sync process as then you would need to either use a BPM (RFC to BPM where you use sync/async bridge to get the xml file from the specified link and then send the response back to ECC) or go for a synchronous Java proxy on the receiver side which will grab the exchange rates and then map back to the RFC response structure. In this case, you can avoid the BPM.
    Else, as mentioned in Michal's blog, you can break it up into 2 seperate scenarios. RFC/Proxy to File and then File to IDoc/RFC/Proxy which will get the exchange rates into ECC.
    Another option can be Proxy --> PI --> ECC(IDoc/Proxy/RFC). Here you can grab the exchange rates from the link in your message mapping through a UDF.

  • XML and sending its data by sockets

    In my new project, i need to receive data from an XML file and send it to a client when the client has requested it from my server.
    so far, i've stored the elements into variables (i'll call them item1, item2, and item3 for now). I put this into the protocol so when the client calls upon the server to store itemn to one of its variables, it will do so.
    apperently, all this does is send my String variable output, which starts out as null and doesn't change, and so the output remains null which in turn will close my client. here's my protocol (it gathers data from avalonmap.xml):
    * xmlStorage.java

    * To change this template, choose Tools | Options and locate the template under

    for one thing, don't use == to compare strings... You have that all over the place, like:
    if(currentElement=="region") {

  • Using JCo : IDoc to XML and XML to IDoc

    Hey guys,

    Hi,
    what you are looking for is the sapidocjco.jar. You can get if from the service marketplace and it comes with a couple of example Java code which shows how to implement it. You will also need the normal JCo jar to use the sapidocjco.jar.

  • Creating IDoc XML and sending to XI

    There is a mechanism to create IDoc XML within SAP ERP through the use of
    Change Pointers in concert with a port of type XML File (WE21). This is well
    documented in this document.
    http://www.erpgenie.com/sap/sapedi/Conversion%20of%20IDOCs%20to%20XML%20format.pdf
    My question is whether the IDoc XML can be generated using Change Pointers and
    the resulting IDoc XML be sent to XI through a RFC Adapter.
    Please don't suggest using an IDoc Adapter. I already know how to do that.
    Thanks
    Vamsi

    Hello Vamsi,
    2)  You need  use Sender File Adapter for this.Not by RFC Adapter
    1)yes, you can generate IDOC-XML using Change pointer
    for better understanding...

  • How to read an IDOC flat file and send it to XI

    Hi,
    I'm looking for a way to read a complicated Idoc structured flat file sent to XI by a legacy system and then pushing that data to and R/3 system. Can anyone recommend a good technique?
    Thanks,
    Steeve

    hi steven....
    this shud help u...
    for FileXIIDoc
    File->XI->IDOC (how to start?)
    also check this blog for specifying adapter specific identifiers in this scenario
    These are steps to follow:
    STEPS IN DESIGN
    1. Import idoc from the SAP System (SAP02) through imported objects.
    2. Create Data Type, Message Type, Message Interface for the Outbound File.
    3. Create Message Mapping with file Message and idoc (Matmas04)
    5.Create Interface mapping between File Interface and the idoc.
    Steps to be followed in Creation of Technical and Business System
    Technical System
    In SLD, click on technical landscape->New Technical System->WebAS ABAP.
    Business System.
    1.Goto Business Landscape->New Business System->Name the business system.
    2. Choose the technical system that needs to be attached->WebAS ABAP->Technical System Name.
    Preconfiguration steps for transfer of data to IDOCS
    1.Create a RFC Destination in SM59 of XI Server of type.
    2.In transaction IDX1 ,create a port for the client of XI server.
    3. The port has to be displayed in the idx2 transaction and we should be able to view the idoc’s which we imported through integration repository.
    Steps in Configuration
    1. Goto service without party, right click->Assign a business system.
    2. Choose the business system to be added.
    3. Create a File Sender Service with communication channel for the same.
    4. Create an idoc receiver channel under the business system. Mention the RFC Destination and the port created for the same.
    5. Mention the logical Name in the Service->Adapter Specific Parameters of both the File Sender Service as well as the business system.
    6. Make the Sender Agreement for theFile Sender with communication channel.
    7.Create the Receiver Determination and Interface Determination for the business system.
    8.Create the Receiver Agreement for the Business system.
    TCODES for File>XI>IDoc
    SM59-rfc destination on recving side
    IDX1-port on recving side
    IDX2-load metadata
    Bus. service adapter specific Identifiers-->Logical sys name (check this blog:/people/michal.krawczyk2/blog/2005/03/29/xi-error--unable-to-convert-the-sender-service-to-an-ale-logical-system )

  • Best way to write objects in an xml and send the file?

    hello all
    i am making some objects, which i conver to xml using the XStream and then i am saving them to a file, call a function to send the file to a servant (basically i do this by sending bytes and this may be the problem). In the servant i take the data i write them to a file and then i read them again to make them objects...
    i have the following code in the client
            XStream xstream = new XStream(new DomDriver());
            xstream.alias("Jobb", WorkflowFramework.Jobb.class);
         String xml = xstream.toXML(translation);
               FileWriter fw = new FileWriter("translation.xml");
               ObjectOutputStream out = xstream.createObjectOutputStream(fw);
               out.writeObject(new Jobb("ougk2", "Walnes",null));
               out.close();
               File file=new File("translation.xml");
               byte buffer[]=new byte[(int)file.length()];
               try {
                    BufferedInputStream input=new BufferedInputStream(new FileInputStream("translation.xml"));
                    input.read(buffer,0,buffer.length);
                    input.close();
               } catch(Exception e) {
                      System.out.println("Error: "+e.getMessage());
                       e.printStackTrace();
               theRemoteObjRef.translationService(theCallbackObjectRef, buffer);i write the file and then i read it so as to have a buffer of bytes (there should be a better ways..)
    the last line sends an objectRef (we dont care about that) and the file in bytes to a server (to be specific to a servant of a server)..
    in the servant i do the following
    public void translationService(TheCallbackInterface objRef, byte data[]){
              try{
                        File file = new File("translation2.xml");
                    BufferedOutputStream output = new BufferedOutputStream(new FileOutputStream("translation2.xml"));
                  output.write(data, 0, data.length);
                  output.flush();
                  output.close();
              } catch(Exception e) {
                        System.out.println("Error: " + e.getMessage());
                        e.printStackTrace();
               XStream xstream = new XStream(new DomDriver());
               try { // If an error occurs, go to the "catch" block
                    FileReader fr2 = new FileReader("translation2.xml");
                    ObjectInputStream in = xstream.createObjectInputStream(fr2);
                    Jobb newJob = (Jobb)in.readObject();
                   System.out.println(newJob.getObjServerRef());
                   System.out.println(newJob.getForTranslation());
                   System.out.println(newJob.getTranslated());
                    }catch (Exception e) {
                         System.err.println("File input error"+e);
                    Jobb testJob=new Jobb("ougka","mpougka","falalala");
                    System.out.println(testJob.getObjServerRef());
                       System.out.println(testJob.getForTranslation());
                    System.out.println(testJob.getTranslated());
    the problem is that in the first group of System.out.println i get the error File input errorcom.thoughtworks.xstream.mapper.CannotResolveClassException: Jobb : Jobb
    but the second group of printlns, prints the correct results...
    do you know what is the problem? Why can i read the content of the file and get the objects from there?
    do you have any suggestions of writing and reading the file in an another way or to send it by NOT using a bytes array?
    do you have an alternative way of making the xml file?
    many thanks!

    Hi,
    I would suggest to reconsider building of your document so that it doesn't contain duplicates if you don't need them. And it doesn't have much to do with DB XML then.
    Also you could insert your document with duplicates and use XQuery Update facilities to delete undesirable nodes.

    Hi Nicola,
    read the pdf from dataset as binary into an XSTRING.
    use function to convert xstring to table.
    Do not use SO_DOC.. function but CL_BCS (see blog 'unknown thus unloved'

  • How Can I export a specific Business Attribute set from CRM and send it to SAP Cloud System

    Hi,
    I have a scenario, where I have Business Attributes Set in CRM.
    But I want to send specific (not all ) Business Attribute from CRM to Cloud System (C4C).
    Is is possible via some customization.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Amit Khatwani

    Hi Padma,
    Do we have a standard BADI delievered for this integration from CRM to C4C.
    Or the customer has to implement the custom BADI and enhance the existing
    message type (process)?
    Best Regards,
    Amit Khatwani

  • Issues with creating and sending BOM XML IDOC to SAP using 2010 WCF-SAP Adapter (without using Biztalk Server)

      I'm trying to replace an existing Biztalk 2006 Send BOM IDOC process, and completely remove Biztalk server from the equation.   The existing Bizatalk 2006 server receives an input BOM (Bill of Materials) flat file, and using a Biztalk Map (BM08),
    and Orchestration, generates an Idoc and sends it to SAP.
      In my replacement C# program, I'm using the 2010 WCF-SAP Adapter, and am trying to generate the BOMMAT03 XML IDOC it to SAP.
      I generated the BOMMAT03 schema from SAP using the Add Adapter Service in VS 2010.  I was able to generate a BM08 XSLT from the existing BMO8 map in the current Biztalk 2006 process.  I am able to run a XSLT transform on the input BOM flat
    file, and generate an XML file from that.
      However, I've run into a few issues.   First of which, is that the XML file that is generated from the XSLT transform is NOT the same schema as the BOMMAT03 schema expects.  It's somewhat similar, but different enough that I have to manually
    translate between the two in my code.  I've verified that both the original Bitztalk 2006 process and my replacement program use BOMMAT V3 from SAP.  Question--Is Biztalk 2006 server doing some other magic to turn that transormed XML into the BOMMAT03
    schema?
     I ended writing code which translates the transformed XML into the BOMMAT03 schema (which is a strong typed XML IDOC at this point).
      However, when I try to send the BOMMAT03 XML IDOC, I get an exception "Object reference not set to an instance of an object."
                   idocClient.Send(idocData, ref sadapterTxGuid);
    idocData is of type BOMMAT03, and I've verified that the various fields are populated.
      Any help is appreciated.

    Well, putting in a MSDN subscription support ticket for Biztalk server actually helped with the issue.  They didn't find, or fix the issue directly.  But one of the examples (https://randypaulo.wordpress.com/tag/idoc/) they sent over, jogged my
    memory, and I realized in the code snippet below, I had accidentally deleted the 1st line.  Such a simple mistake, yet was easy to overlook.  The URL example is almost EXACTLY like my code, but without the transform and translation code to convert
    from input XML file to IDOC XML.  If someone is interested in that, let me know.
    //Forgot the 1st line.
    idocClient = new IdocBOMMAT03SIEIS_WED_BOMMAT03V3R700Client(binding, endpointAddress);
     idocClient.Send(idocData, ref sadapterTxGuid);
    For anyone else interested in knowing, you CAN send a strongly typed IDOC to SAP using C#.NET and the WCF SAP 2010 Adapter, using the IDOC Binding Client class you generated using the Add Adapter Service Reference in VS2010.
    The one difference, which no one, not even the tech support from MS could tell me, was why the XSLT which I generated from the original map, did not transform the input BOM XML into the BOMMAT03 XML.  Instead, it transformed it into an intermediate
    XML, which resembled the BOMMAT03 IDOC XML, but still needed to be translated to the BOMMAT03 IDOC format.
    The tech support person swore up and down that it should.  But I believe that something happens in Biztalk server, after the Mapping occurs, maybe in the Pipeline, which converts that
    intermediate XML into the final BOMMAT03 IDOC XML format.
    I do think that the examples are severely lacking in showing how to send a strong typed IDOC using C# and the WCF-SAP Adapter.  Even worse, the examples are completely lacking in how to actually generate a weakly typed IDOC.  They show how to send
    that weakly typed IDOC, but show me, or give me a class to be able to generate it.
    I realize that this is not quite the "recommended way" to do it, but in reality, not everyone wants or even needs a full Biztalk installation.   For some simple stuff like this, a C#.NET program and WCF-SAP adapter do the trick.

  • Classes and methods to send email to SAP inbox

    Hi,
    I want an appropriate class and method to send emails to SAP Inbox.
    My objective is that i convert spool to PDF and send it to SAP inbox as an attachment.
    I've used  'CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF' and 'SX_TABLE_LINE_WIDTH_CHANGE' to generate PDF attachment.
    I tried Function modules 'SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1'/'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1' to send email.
    It was working fine till now (for last 4 months). Now the Basis team has run some patches due to which the PDFs are getting damaged.
    Now the FMs 'SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1'/'SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1' seems to be useless.
    So i tried some methods in classes cl_document_bcs and cl_bcs. These are working fine for Internet mails but not SAP mails.
    Please suggest me some Classes and methods to send the PDF atachments to SAP inbox.

    to have all SAP inbox messages into lotus notes inbox you have to sync the same with the use of connectors rather than resending them
    check out this link

    for outlook its done using MAPI
