[IDS Java CS4] packageForPrint() not copying linked graphics?

packageForPrint() creates a folder and saves my .indd, but doesn't copy the linked graphics. Here's my code:

The docPackage folder is created and it contains my .indd and Instructions.txt report file, but there is no "Links" folder containing the linked graphics, and the links in the .indd are not updated from their original path The report file says
LINKS AND IMAGES
(Missing & Embedded Links Only)
Links and Images: 54 Links Found; 0 Modified, 0 Missing
Images: 0 Embedded, 3 use RGB color space
which is the correct number of images.

Can not copy links to other menus correctly

When I try to copy a link to another menu, it does not copy just the link itself. Instead, it copies that target menu and all it's submenus, and pastes them into that menu. So when I past a link and then look at the DVD map, everything is repeated within another submenu. The problem snowballs from there. The help menu clearly states that when you copy a link, it only copies the link itself and that it will link back to the original menu, when in fact it is creating an entirely new menu. Does anyone have any idea what's going on ? Thank you very much for any input.

When you copy a button in iDVD you are copying that button's properties.
For example: I have a button "Submenu 1" and that button leads to a menu with a movie inside called "My Great movie".
I then click on the button "Submenu 1" and go to Edit > Copy and then Edit > Paste it pastes that button again.
Both buttons lead to the same menu with the same movie inside of it (much the same way as an alias works in the Finder). The DVD Map view shows them as 2 separate menus with their own tree of items. However the actual files are not duplicated, simply referenced.
You can check to see if content is being duplicated by going to Project > Project Info.
In the "Media" section you will see a reference to every video / audio file used in the project.
In this case of my project there is only 1 copy of the movie in the window: "My Great Movie".
This means that rather than duplicating the files, it is making a reference (alias/link) to the original.

Can not copy links with firefox ...

I use Firefox to play a ton of games on Face Book. When ever I right click on a link to copy it and send to others, it doesn't work. This has been going on for several weeks. I thought it was my computer but have discovered that Safari lets me copy the links just fine. I prefer Fire Fox. Can you help me with this. ?????

Many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.
Note: ''This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to.''
To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.

Is it possible to copy a graphic from a java applet and paste it in a word document ?

This is not possible on a generic applet because the browser security does not allow access to the system clip board. This can be done in a Java application or a signed applet.

Copying the text of a link, not the link behind the text?

I get emails that contained tracking numbers that are linked tracking information. I just want to copy the tracking number, not the link. When I hightlight the link and right click, all I get are options about the links. I did find that I could use command C and V to copy and paste. Is that my only option?

Linked policies not copying to sysvol\domain\policies?

This problem started recently, and I have not been able to find any resolutions online.
This is a relatively new installation of Server 2012 R2 on a small network of about 25 PCs. I was able to set up a number of GPOs without issue, but all of a sudden, newly linked GPOs are not copying to sysvol\domain\policies. That path is accessible from client
PCs, but the folder itself (5C53E...) isn't created, and gpupdate is producing the error:
The processing of Group Policy failed. Windows attempted to read the file \\dominionair.local\SysVol\dominionair.local\Policies\{5C53EB48-F4BA-4763-8500-E05BB54E3AB4}\gpt.ini from a domain controller and was not successful. Group Policy settings may
not be applied until this event is resolved. This issue may be transient and could be caused by one or more of the following:
a) Name Resolution/Network Connectivity to the current domain controller.
b) File Replication Service Latency (a file created on another domain controller has not replicated to the current domain controller).
c) The Distributed File System (DFS) client has been disabled.
Computer Policy update has completed successfully.
To diagnose the failure, review the event log or run GPRESULT /H GPReport.html f
rom the command line to access information about Group Policy results.
I AM able to add to existing GPOs and the settings update on client PCs, so this doesn't appear to be a permissions issue. Any idea where to start on this?

Your sysvol replication is broken. Check NTFRS or DFSR eventlogs on all
DCs and then follow either

To be more precise, you can setup a JComponent or JPanel on top of your JavaFX nodes that has a TransferHandler that can convert the (AWT/Swing) images dragged to the app to JavaFX image and then insert it into the underlying node.
As for the file chooser itselft: ListView and the JavaFX composer can allow you to create one quite easily. TreeView can aslso be used to a lesser extend (still a big buggy). For both of these, there are small bugs in the Cell API that may (or may not) prevent from displaying a proper thumbnail in the cells.
You can also use a regular JFileChooser if you do not mind the dialog box having a different LnF from the rest of your application.

In Textedit, how do I copy a hyperlink url, but only copy the link location and not the link text?

Suppose I have a list of hyperlinked internet URL's. I want to extract their Internet addresses -- the link locations -- which are essentially hidden in the link text. Is there any way to select and copy the list of hyperlinks, but only copy the link locations, and not the link text?
For example, with the links:

What I really want to copy are: "http://www.whitehouse.gov/", "http://www.google.com/", and "https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2737556".

I figured out how to do it. First, copy the hyperlinks onto a blank RTF document in TextEdit and save the file.
Second, open the file from within TextEdit, and make sure that the box "Ignore rich text commands" is checked in the open file dialog box. In the open document, the hyperlinks from my example in my first post will look like this:

Java plugin is not working properly

I have FF 16.0.1 and Java plugin 7 u 9, this is not the java with security problems...

loads very slowly or not at all, including the majority of the links on the page...this is a menu to multiple Java applets in GeoGebra. This page has a preload link which causes a problem. All links are java applets which until your security issues on Java were implements worked flawlessly and better than any other browser service...

So, you are having problems with Java 7 update 9 in Firefox? You said "until your security issues on Java were implements worked flawlessly and better than any other browser service..." I don't know what you mean. Java security updates are from java.com (Oracle) not Mozilla.
In case it helps, I downgraded from Java 7 to Java 6 awhile back for security reasons and I'm now running [http://java.com/en/download/manual_v6.jsp Java 6 Update 37], which is the latest Java 6 and has all current security patches. (I'll eventually switch back to Java 7 once Java 6 is no longer supported). Except for a few of the links loading slowly, I don't see any issues on the page you mentioned. Hopefully someone with Java 7 u9 will be along and test the links but you could try uninstalling Java 7 and installing Java 6. More on Java here:

Java Stack is not started in SAP netweaver ABAP+JAVA Stack

Win2003 64 bit , ECC6.0 , Oracle 10.2.0.2.
Its a newly installed SAP Netweaver Dual Stack (PI) , Yesterday i have done Client copy from 001 to 999 (SAP_UCUS).
Client copy also successfully completed .
login/system_client=999 ,i have activated in Default profile and i have restarted the Server.
Now i dont have issue with ABAP stack ,its working fine, but java stack is not working running.

Please provide the full log entries of server0_out.log.
You can access UME service properties in config tool by following this path..
Global server configuration -> services -> com.sap.security.core.ume.service
There you can set the following settings for new client 900 (it u want to change it)
ume.r3.connection.master.client
ume.r3.connection.master.user
ume.r3.connection.master.passwd

Also, Make sure that the Users J2EE_GUEST, J2EE_ADMIN, SAPJSF ABAP Users exist in the ABAP client (i.e. client number as mentioned in ume.r3.connection.master.client ) and they are not locked. All the required roles need to be assigned properly.
