Idvd wont let me write dural layer dvd's?? Plz help
Im just finished my project from idvd it is a big slide show/ videos of my Great uncle that has recently passed away. The Project is 7 gig's I have a entry level macbook with out a super drive. I bought a lacie dvd burner and when i attach it to my computer it gives me the option for dural layer dvd burning but when i hit the burn button a message comes up saying it does not have enough space and it reverts back to 4.7 gigs. Even tho the project is 7 gig's it wont let me burn it.
Also is there anyway i can just throw the project i made on idvd to titanium toast because i have no problem burning dural layer dvds (dvd dl).
Any help would be greatly appreciated

It sounds like you don't have enough free space on your hard drive. How much free space do you have on you internal hard drive? You need to have at least something like 15 GB - do you?
I just looked at your screen shot 'up close'. It appears you have about 36 minutes of content in your menus!!!
Rather than dropping an entire movie file in a menu button drop zone, edit the clip to about 30 seconds in iMovie and use the short clip!

Blu Ray drive/burner can't write dual layer DVD - W500 Vista 64
I recently did a clean Vista 64 Business install on a new hard drive. I pretty much have everything up and going, except the Blu Ray drive doesn't recognize that it can write dual layer DVDs. I ran Nero InfoTool and it, too, tells me that the drive cannot write dual layer DVDs. (Pretty much everything in InfoTool is checked, read and write, except all the HD-DVDs and the dual layer DVD write functions.) Does anyone have any ideas? My understanding is that the drive can write dual layer DVDs.

It appears that DL (dual layer) writing in DVD-R and DVD+R formats is not supported. -
my icloud account on my new iphone does not match the user ID for itunes as it is an old apple ID. There is no password for this ID so I cant change it and it wont let me change the apple ID. Any help?
To change to iCloud ID on your phone you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID then sign in with the new ID. If you don't know the password for the old ID, and if the old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

i reset my ipod touch 5th generation and i just reset my apple id and password and it wont let me activate my ipod. I need help!!
What happens when you try? Error message?
To activate you have to enter the ID and password last used for Settings>iCloud. In most cases the Apple ID is used for Settings>iCloud but not always.

I am trying to burn dual layer DVDs with no success. Already tried Toast or Burn disc from Apple. Tried other DVD brands too. No luck.
The message I get is:

The strangest thing happened now: I bought 5 of those KODAK and only one of them started the process of burning. But it reported an error after burning 55% and crashed. So, chances are the problem is really with the discs? Not the burner?

Cannot Write Dual Layer DVDs on Pavilion G6 laptop
Hi,
I have a Pavilion G6 2213sa laptop with a DVD-RAM UJ8B1 DL DVD RW, I can burn single layer DVDs no problems and CDs however when I try to burn a Dual Layer DVD in either UDF or ISO using Nero or ImgBurn it just fails each time when attempting to burn layer 2.
I have tried to update the drivers but can't find any later ones than the Microsoft one that was from 2006 which I find old. I'm not sure what else I can do, can anyone else help with this? I've only had the laptop for 1 month. I can't see it being a fault with the drive it if it burns CDs and DVDs alright.Hi wilko7719, I have found a document that I think may be able to help you. You need to restore the iPhone, not just connect it. If iTunes says that the iPhone needs to be unlocked before it can be restored, put the iPhone into Recovery Mode:

Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

If you have iOS 4.2.1 or later on the iPod and there was version compatible with that version, then you should be able to get a compatible version by:
App Store: Downloading Older Versions of Apps on iOS - Apple Club
App Store: Install the latest compatible version of an app
You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists. -
