How much space is your Other using? You may be able to reduce.
How Do I Get Rid Of The “Other” Data Stored On My iPad Or iPhone?
    http://tinyurl.com/85w6xwn
With an iOS device, the “Other” space in iTunes is used to store things like documents, settings, caches, and a few other important items. If you sync lots of documents to apps like GoodReader, DropCopy, or anything else that reads external files, your storage use can skyrocket. With iOS 5, you can see exactly which applications are taking up the most space. Just head to Settings > General > Usage, and tap the button labeled Show All Apps. The storage section will show you the app and how much storage space it is taking up. Tap on the app name to get a description of the additional storage space being used by the app’s documents and data. You can remove the storage-hogging application and all of its data directly from this screen, or manually remove the data by opening the app. Some applications, especially those designed by Apple, will allow you to remove stored data by swiping from left to right on the item to reveal a Delete button.

  • We updated our phones and now we are running out of memory.  Never happened before the update and we have not added anything new.  We have hardly anything on our phones.

We updated our phones and now we are running out of memory.  Never happened before the update and we have not added anything new.  We have hardly anything on our phones.  Why am I having to remove stuff that has always been on my phone.

    Thanks for the reply TJBUSMC1973.
I guess that means back to the shop.  Ridiculous to sell a phone that can't handle the new iOS more efficiently (or vice versa).  I can't imagine anyone going near a 5C now (I have a feeling mine had already been used and taken back once and sold as new at O2).

That means that the disk is almost full.  Unless you free up some space  soon, your operating system will begin to behave strangely and eventually will no longer boot into Windows.
Windows operating system uses part of the capacity of the hard disk for virtual memory. A good rule of thumb is to never come to within 15-20% of the hard disk's capacity.

  • Iphone: You are running out of disk space

I have 7.3 Gb free disk space but sometimes the iphone shows error message
" Warning: You are running out of disk space. Please delete some photos or videos."
    any idea ?

If you have 7.3 GB of available free space on your iPhone, this indicates you have not transferred any data from your computer to your iPhone except for maybe contact information, etc.
Since you have no data to speak of available on your iPhone, the standard troubleshooting steps in order are power the iPhone off/on, Reset, Restore and if no change after any or all, call AppleCare or make an appointment at a local Apple Store if there is one nearby.

  • I have a 2008 Mac Book Pro partitioned running windows and are running out of drive space. Can I upgrade hard drive for more capacity?

I have a 2008 Mac Book Pro partitioned running windows and are running out of drive space. Can I upgrade hard drive for more capacity? I purchased a faster drive initially, but has 200 GB capacity. I am running out of room and would like to upgrade for more space if possible.
    Can anyone suggest an alternative?

You don't need to partition your drive to run Fusion, only if you want to run Bootcamp.
If you have space on your Windows partition, I would suggest you backup your Windows partition, and then, delete the partition using Disk Utility.
You can now restore your virtual machine to a single volume or repartition if you prefer.
I would consider upgrading to a unibody MBP (used, refurbished will do) just to be able to access the HD. Opening the pre-unibody MBP is not something you would want to do.

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
That's exactly what you need. A Mini DisplayPort to HDMI adapter and a HDMI cable. See > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4241?viewlocale=en_US
This is the only way to view a video on the TV. After connecting your MacBook Air to the TV, image on your TV should show immediately. Then, press Command and F1 keys to mirror your MacBook Air display, and open the video

    Thanks,

    HI Sree,
I had the same problem in my client. The solution is you need to publish the URL to the internet and maintain the host name at the hosting server.
If possible talk with the IT Network guys and they can help you.

  • You are running out of disk space error message

When i connect my iphone to itunes its continously tell me I am running out of disk space please delet some videos and photos and i have a ton of space available?

Did you try to reset your phone by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes back again?
Do you have an "other" section on your phone, bigger than 1GB? If yes, try to restore the phone to bring it back to normal size, it might contain corrupt data from an unsuccessful sync.

  • I have a macbook, 2Ghz 10.5.8 which is running out of room. Should I add all memory I can and will upgrading to mountain Lion use that all up before i even begin?

I have a macbook using 10.5.8, 2 Gb memory which is running out of room. I use it mostly for photos/videos. How much memory can i add and when i upgrade through snow leopard to mountain lion what will it cost andwill that use up all the newly added memory?

You can put in any 2.5" form factor SATA drive that is 9.5mm or less in height. For RAM we need to know whether you have the 2.0 Ghz or 2.13 Ghz processor model 5.2 MacBook. The model 5,2 (Early 2009, 2.0GHz Model Only) can use 6gb of 200 pin 667mhz PC2-5300 RAM. The model 5,2 (Mid 2009, 2.13GHz Model Only) can use 6gb of 200 pin 800mhz PC2-6400 RAM.

Here are instructions on replacing the hard drive in a MacBook with a removable battery. http://creativemac.digitalmedianet.com/articles/viewarticle.jsp?id=45088
To transfer your current hard drive I like the free application SuperDuper. It makes a bootable copy of everything on your hard drive http://www.shirt-pocket.com/SuperDuper/SuperDuperDescription.html  You'll need a cheap SATA external hard drive case. Put the new drive in the case then format and partition the new drive and clone your old drive to the new one. Check that it's set up right by booting up from the external drive. Then replace your old hard drive with the new one and put your old one in the external case.
Here's a cheap SATA external hard drive case on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Vantec-NexStar-2-5-Inch-External-Enclosure/dp/B002JQNXZC/r ef=pd_cp_pc_0
If you don’t have the tools to open up the MacBook OWC has a set for $5

  • HT1688 my iphone5 is always running out of battery what should i do?

My iphone5 is always running out of battery do you have any recommendation as to what I can look and see what's causing this.

Considering the iOS 6.1.4 update was intended only to fix Wi-Fi issues with the iPhone 5, I would immagine these battery issues were brought on by that patch making your phone more aware of Wi-Fi signals and checking them more often, draining the battery when you are out mostly. I would recommend that you turn off Wi-Fi whenever you are going to be somewhere without Wi-Fi for a long period of time. Otherwise, your phone will be constantly checking the area around it for all the singals it can get. The opposite goes for when you are at home. When you are on a Wi-Fi network and using it, it is much more battery efficient that cellular. Staying consious of swapping betwwen Wi-Fi on and off will be the biggest saver in your case.
 Thank you for choosing Apple.

  • My hp_tools E it's running out of space, what i have to do?

I get a window that says my disc space is full, always say that I have to run a backup, I all ready do it but the it run out of space again, what i have todo on my notebook 2000?

    Welcome to the forum IronHide,
You should never be storing anything in the hp_tools partition; it should be able to take care of itself -- it is just large enough for what belongs there.
As to the rest:  Backups do not do anything to make the data smaller, they just protect what you have in the event that something happens to your computer and you need to restore something from the backup media.
    As a Refresher:
HP PCs - Backing Up Your Files (Windows 8)
HP PCs - Backing Up Your Files (Windows 7)
You did not tell us your Operating System -- the maintenance steps are about the same for both Windows 7 and Windows 8 once you get past the Winodws 8 "front bits", that is, the "Start Screen".
Essentially you need to remove some of the "extra stuff" that has accumulated over time, that is, the temporary files from your internet travels, the junk you put in the trash that is still lingering there and didn't really "go away", and maybe some of the left over "temporary installation files" from previous installations.  There are programs to take care of all of this; you do not have to search your computer for files lurking in the corners.
You can also run a Disk Defragmentation program to realign the programs and files on your system -- this takes a while, but it does make things clean and tidy.
You can use these guides to help you get started on understanding what you might need to do:
Improving System Performance without Adding Memory (Windows 7)
HP PCs - Improving System Performance without Adding Memory (Windows 8)
    Good Luck!

  • When running a BI session, what is "detailed/extended log" for?

    Hello all,
I couldn't find any information about "detailed log" checkbox (forum, notes, online help, sap library, google).
It is displayed in a popup when we run a BI session from SM35 transaction. It's also the LOGALL parameter ("extended log") of RSBDCSUB program.
By debugging the system, I noticed that it was used only with All-screen and Error-only display modes. In No-screen mode, the BI session is run with detailed log on.
In All-screen and Error-only modes, the message 00355 "Transaction was processed successfully" is not stored in the log if the detailed log option is off.
    Are there any other differences?
    Thx a lot

    Thx Harald, I missed it.
But unfortunately, it doesn't work as described, or there is something I don't understand. You can try with the following code which changes FR 1234567890 bank name to sy-uzeit using FI02 transaction (please create the bank before running the program), and produces both S and W messages, whatever extended log is on or off. The only difference is about the message number 00355 as I stated previously.

  • I Start a New am so frustrated with problems syncing photos on my iPad. I choose which files to sync but get deleted photos in my albums, my photos are in the wrong albums and the weirdest of all- I now have strange graphics and Facebook photos in albums!

I have spent several hours trying to find a solution to the following problems. After syncing my IPad with ITunes, I end up with photos that I previously deleted in my albums, duplicate photos, albums that have wrong pictures in them and weirdest of all, strange graphics and Facebook photos that are not even mine. Right now I hate this thing!
I have scanned the support forums, Googled it, deleted several photo caches, spent days editing my photo files, checked the specific folders I wanted to sync and it seems like it's not syncing, just adding the same photos and strange crap that it already had on it. Oh please help me!
    Thanks!

OK....I'm stumped.  The message you are seeing is typically there to protect someone from syncing with a different computer/iTunes account.  Is there any way anyone else has used your iPad and possibly connected it to their computer?
