If I have iMessage on my phone and text to another person's phone, does my message go to our family iPad for anyone's viewing?
If I have imessaging turned on my iphone, if I text someone else through their phone number, does my texting conversation go also to our ipad where my kids can read my texts that I send and receive on my phone? We only have one apple id account. do all my texts go to the ipad if we have only one apple ID account between our phones and our ipad?
Yes, they can. You probably want to consider getting a second Apple ID for your personal use for iMessage, FaceTime and iCloud on your phone. You can continue to use the shared Apple ID for iTunes/App Store.

i have an iphone 4 for verizon and i am going to switch phones and get a droid motorolla 4g phone and the droid doesnt have a sim card. does my iphone 4 have a sim card that i can put in the droid? can i buy sim cards separately online for the droid?

The CDMA iPhone 4 does not use a SIM at all. There is no SIM slot. It is a pure CDMA phone. -

I have a new Samsung phone and I live in CT. Last month they charged me $38 on my bill for the sales tax for the new phone which was $600. I'm paying for the phone itself over 20 installments of $30 each. Now again I'm getting that same $38 charge. I can't believe that the monthly CT tax is higher than the payment for the phone itself. Does this make sense. Last time I spoke with them on the phone it was for 1 1/4 hours for something simple. I don't want to call unless I need to. The salesman told me nothing about any of this. The bill from last month states:

Actually, now I'm realizing that last month's bill stated I was making the first payment toward the phone. Now this month also says it's the first payment toward the phone when it's really the second. -

Sounds like you have multiple Apple IDs, which causes a myriad of issues. Go here to straighten it out. Be forewarned that it's a pain.

While using my iPhone the system behavior changed where I now have to click on the app to select it, then double click to launch it. Same goes for entering in my password to access the phone and entering digits to make a phone. I am also having trouble swiping the screen to move to the next page. This is no longer working. I did not change any settings, the phone just started behaving this way. Any ideas on how to revert back to the single click selection/launch? Any assistant is greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Edge has very clear restrictions, one being that you must have 6 months of clean payment history which you don't. Either wait until April 14, or good luck at Sprint.
I am unsure how it can be determined the payment mix up was the fault of CS, but regardless, the mix up was done. There can be any number of reasons why a payment could be missed without any fault on your part, however you are still the responsible party for the account and must live with the repercussions. -

Hi,
Photos synced from your computer can't be deleted directly on your iPhone. You'll need to connect your device to iTunes and remove the pictures by going in the Photos tab on your device's settings.

I purchased extra icloud storage to back up my phone and phots. Purchased a new phone and went to pull my photos from icloud and only a portion trasferred to my new phone. How do I get all of the photos moved to my new phone?
Not photos, just data synced with iCloud shown in Settings>iCloud. If you don't have sufficient storage to back up to iCloud, back up to your computer instead using iTunes (connect you phone to your computer, open iTunes, click on the name of your phone in iTunes, go to ths Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings and click Back Up Now). Also transfer your purchases to your iTunes library (connect your phone to your computer, open iTunes and go to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases). If you have photo stream photos older than 30 days tha you wan to save, save these to your camera roll before backing up (tap Select, tap the photos, tap the share icon -- box with upward facing arrow, then tap Save to Camera Roll).
When setting up your new phone, when given the option choose Restore from iTunes Backup and restore the backup you made earlier. -
how do I make it so that the one computer that has the main itunes account on it be used on other computers, when it comes to backing up phones and not deleting data off of phone that isnt on that computer itunes becasse its all on the one main computer. Baiscally the problem is that one comuter and one account has always been sued for eey persons itunes. Now if we want to be able to backup and use itunes on our own computers fro our iphones and such, how will all he data that is on our phones not be deleted once its plugged into a new computer? Also, is theere a way to get all the stuff on thw current itunes onto each computer, via differtn account name?
option discovered in preferences. Really this and any feature that moves deletes or edits a users data should as far as possible be OFF BY DEFAULT. It shouldn't by default and without the users specific say do this dangerous and unnecessary thing without even letting the user know what it's doing!!! And then cause me a few hours (as i'm new to mac) searching for the option so as to switch it off. If i hadn't noticed the status cage declaring that it was copying files then i might never have twigged that this insane thing was occurring. And if i hadn't of noticed i would have been left maintaining the contents of the folder i copied the files to, the folder which as far as i was informed and so believed was also the location of the music files i was playing. How does Apple justify this 'genius' piece of software non-design? Surely it will hurt no one if this was off by default for new users - overall at least i dare say it would cause a lot less distress in the future for the unsuspecting public at large. Switched to Verizon and bought my phone and plan in Feb, submitted all paperwork to receive a discount because company I work for uses Verizon. Was told they lost the paperwork in Jun and I could verify my employment by using my employee e-mail. Did this and here it is towards the end of Sep and I still don't have my discount!! Very frustrated and think maybe I should have stayed with AT&T.

Must turn off 3G to get phone and text
I have been having problems with receiving calls and text's on my one week old 3GS. 4 out of 5 calls go right to voicemail. Some texts never come in. Also some outgoing texts lockup and don't go through. I went to AT&T and they gave me a new SIM card. That didn't help. Then they told me to reset my network settings...that didn't help. I find the only way to get consistent phone and text service is if I turn off 3G. Anybody else having this problem?
Same thing was happening to me when I lived in Arizona. Calls and text only worked on edge. I went through 3 phones and 2 sim cards. signal would totally drop off from 5 bars to none, "3G or E" would go away for 20-30 seconds and come back. Every time it happened I would take a screen shot of the home screen. Shows date on the calendar icon, time at the top and signal. It got to the point where I was taking screen shots 4-5 times an hour. I had over 100 screen shots of signal dropoff and failed text sent.
When I took the phone back to the Apple store they would replace it because under diagnosis it was internal resetting, 5-6 times a day. Every phone was doing it. Finally after calling applecare and AT&T 9 times. I got a call from AT&T regional telling me there was trouble with the tower in my area. He told me the Apple store had replaced 136 phones. No one knew even people working at the Apple store were replacing their phones. It took about a month until we were operational again, Apple Store stopped replacing phones and just told people to keep it on EDGE until it was fixed.
This was on my 3G my 3G(S) has been flawless... -
