if I store a name with phone number with a country code eg. +218-925555555 and I receive a call from that pearson then only number ( 0925555555 ) is appeared but no name.
and visa versa when I store 925555555 and I receive a call from that pearson then only number ( +218-925555555 ) is appeared but no name.

Or were you referring to the one in the old temporary replacement device? Would that even be compatible with the newer phones?
The one that wasn't working had a 4G LTE SIM card in it. It should have usable in the replacement Razr. It was only until I read the OP a third time this morning that there might be a third device involved. It would be nice if people would give more specifics on what devices are active at what time. Then the readers of this community can follow the progression of the events better.

Hello, I recently travelled to Israel and used a differnet SIM card in my Iphone, but ever since I got back to the states... othe people got my txt from my hotmail account. I read through the discussions here and figured out how to change that, the other problem is that my phone numer under the text massage setting appear with Israel country code (+972) before my american number!?
so when I go to setings>massages>send and recieve>...
my options are either my hotmail account or +972and my us number ...
so when other people recieve txts from me it seems like somebody txted them from a different country ...
anybody has an idea how to change that ?

I changed one of my contacts phone number, but when I start a new text message their old phone number appears along with their new number. I have checked my contact information and only their new number is in there.

When your mother used this BlackBerry did she use a SIM card or not?

My Phone Number not appearing...

My phone number is not appearing in contacts or settings as other users claim to be seeing. I just noticed that iTunes shows my Phone Number as N/A on the summary tab. I could have sworn that it listed my number earlier.
Any ideas?

Numbers with US country code (+1) are not recognized

Hi Everyone,
some of my contacts have +1 (US country code) stored in front
of their number, as that is the only way to ensure texts reach
them, while one is abroad.
In the US, though, when they call their numbers are not always
mapped to the contact by the iPhone. The incoming number is without
the +1 prefix which I guess confuses the phone.
I was wondering if other people were experiencing this and if there
is a fix for it?
Hopefully this will also reach Apple, so they can take a look at it.

Store BOTH numbers in your contact list...one with the +1, and one without. If you hit the edit button for a contact, a new field will pop up for phone numbers, add new number. You can add a custom label as well by clicking on the chevron in the "new" number field.

My phone does not ring when receiving a call. It then goes to voicemail and doesn't show a missed call.

I have an iPhone 4. When someone tries to call me, the phone sometimes(most of the time now) does not ring. It will roll over to voicemail but does not show a missed call. Has anyone had this same thing happen and how did you get it rectified?

My wife's iphone 4 also has your same no ring problem as does my iphone 5 just less often. I called her iphone 4 at home from where I work 20 miles away on my iphone 5. With her phone in 3G mode ONE call went through and 9 went to voice mail in 10 tries. This is a 10% sucess rate!! I also could listen in real time from the wired work phone and the wired home phone. She turned off 3G mode and it went to "O" mode at the top left of the screen after the ATT. In this mode it rang on the first ring tone 5 times out of 5 tries which is 100% of the time. I have learned that the calling party will hear up to 4 ring tones when placing a call on the ATT network. If the ring tone changes volume slightly before the 4th ring then and only then will the cell phone start to ring. If the ring tone does not change after the 4th ring you get voice mail. If the calling party does not leave a voice message there is never a missed call displayed on the iphone. If the calling party does leave a voice message a few minutes later the iphone dings for arriving voice mail but still no missed call indication.
This appears to be related to the time of day and the ATT tower that the receiving caller is using. Tried other towers and it works in 3G mode 10 times out of 10 tries. Apple replaced the first iphone 4 with a new phone, no improvement. ATT replaced the SIM card and no improvement. ATT so far is clue less. This has been going on every since we got the new iphones which is 4 months. The ATT web site also describes this same problem from several years ago. Has anyone got better information?

I cannot hear the caller's voice when I receive a call. I can only hear them when I turn on speaker phone. What can I do?

Even if I have a good signal on my iphone 4 I cannot hear any sound when I answer a call. I can only hear the caller's voice when I press the speaker phone button. Please help as have fiddled with setttings to no avail and taken out SIM card and restarted. No joy. Thanks.

CUCM 8.6.2 Generating CSRs With Incorrect Country Code

Hi folks, I'm running CUCM 8.6.2.25900-8 on a single cluster (1x pub, 4x sub). My CA certs for the tomcat service are due to expire shortly so I've generated CSRs for all the servers and submitted them to our provider. All but one of the requests went through with no issues but one failed because the CSR specified a country code of 'US'. We are in the UK and the four other servers all generated CSRs specifying C=GB.
Examining the current tomcat cert or issuing "show web-security" on the command-line of the server who's CSR failed also show 'C=GB'
Looking at the 'set web-security' command it appears that I cannot change the country code.
Why is the server generating CSRs with 'C=US'?
How do I change this behaviour such that they are generated with 'C=GB' instead?

Surprisingly, it has made it all the way to 10.5(x) with the same info and the same error...
I did found a method to change it via root access, and you might not require root access, but I can't tell for sure as I would need to look at exactly what the contents of the file that TAC changes, but apparently it's just the platformConfig.xml that they need to change and reboot.
If that's the case, using the utils import config using pretty much all the same info, except the country, would end up with the same outcome.
Again, not 100% sure but theory says that should do the trick, you can run that thru TAC if you open the case and see what they think about it.

Now they bought AIR-CT8510-1K-K9 WLCs (1000AP License) and

Am I able to integrate all to new 8510. In that case What country code I will use?
OR Do I need to keep different WLCs for each AP type

In order for the WLC to be able to manage the LAP, the LAP should discover the controller and register with the WLC. There are different methods that an LAP uses in order to discover the WLC. My sister got the 5S, so she has given me her old 4S. She got the IMEI code from her network to allow me to unlock it. When I plug the phone into my computer, how do I use the IMEI code to unlock it on iTunes. The text my sis got from O2 says, "Apple have confirmed the iPhone IMEI 01.....etc. is set to unlock. To complete, connect the device to iTunes with a SIM never used in the iPhone". But I'm not sure what to do, I already connecting the iPhone with my SIM to iTunes... What next? Also how do I change the iCloud account connected to the phone (hers) to my own?

Is it possible to attend the apple store to get phone updated if i dont have access to itunes and im having hardware problems?

i was trying to update my iphone 5 to the new iOS but some how in between it kept crashing. after a few attempts to install the update it automatically gave me the screen to which it was asking to plug into itunes and making the phone disfunctional . i dont have access to itunes and wont for a few more days. can i just take it to the apple store and have them update the phone to where is now functional?
