  • Enable deactivated productiove password from the backend

    Hi Experts,
Does any one know how to enable deactivated productive password from the back end. The scenario is administrator him self not logged in continuously for 90 days and the login/max_idle_productive is set to 90 days and login/password_expiration_time set to 60days and the productive password got deactivated.
We can do this by deleting sap* and relogin sap* and reset the password. But I want to know how to do from the backend.
    I tried this.
    updated schemaname.usr02
    set pwdstate=0 where bname='XXXX' and mandt='000';
    commit,
But this didn't work. I know the id is not locked. Thatswhy I didn't set uflag to 0.
Appreciate if anyone could help on this?
    Thank you

Sorry, but this is a wrong assumption.
Only password-based authentication is effected by passwords and their status (locked, expired, ...).
In any case you experience problems to logon to an ABAP server, kindly use the tracing approach described in [SAP Note 495911 |https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/495911]to analyse the cause.
By the way: the trigger for this feature (to specify after which time of not using a password it shall no longer be usable for authentication) is an Italian law. So, it's mandatory for Italian customers but optional for all others to make use of that feature.

  • Error while reading the PO in the Backend system. Inform system admin

    Hi All,
We are having a peculiar issue of 'Error while reading the PO in the Backend system. Inform system admin'.
The P.O is in ordered status in SRM but the same is not getting transferred to backend ECC system.
No error messages or logs in RZ20, SLG1 any where.
All programmes like BBP_GET_STATUS_2 and CLEAN_REQREQ_UP are running fine.
Tried pushing the P.Os manually using function module (BBP_PD_PO_TRANSFER_EXEC_V2) to backend ECC.
It was working fine till a week ago and suddenly this problem is coming.
We had implemented few OSS notes suggested by SAP for the issue of 'shopping carts appearing in sourcing cockpit even after P.O creation' in both development and test system.
Now this issue is coming up in test system where as development system is working fine.
Please let us know where to look and how to resolve this issue.
A quick response would be highly appreciated.

    Teja

I am facing the same issue with one PO in the Production system.
    SRM 5.0 , R/3 4.6C Extended classic scenario.
I checked the status of other PO's created today. I see them in R/3. There is one PO which was created a week back which shows up as "ordered" in SRM but the PO is missing in R/3. When clicked on the details on the web, system throws the error
Error while reading the PO in the Backend system. Inform system admin.
    Message no. BBP_CF010
I checked RZ20, SLG1 no errors were found. I checked RFC connection, it was working fine too.
I tried pushing the PO using the FM BBP_PD_PO_TRANSFER_EXEC, it did not solve the problem.
In SRM WEBGUI Process PO - Item data -->follow on documents --> PO status is shown as Archived.
Any inputs would be greatly appreciated. Please throw some light on this issue.

  • Goods Receipt not transferred to the Backend System R/3

We are currently using BBPCRM4.0 & SAP R/3 4.7 (extended scenario)
For a particular Purchase Order which has a material number, We cannot transfer GR to the Backend System R/3 successfully.(The shopping cart of unsuccessfully transferred GR is created by using material)
When I check R/3 using WE05, I can find the message "The plant data of the material G09002202 is locked by the user MRP_RFC". This must be the reason why GR is not transferred successfully to the Backend System, but I do not know what this message mean.(As you see, MRP_RFC is the user name that connects SRM and R/3. + That moment the material is not locked by any user in R/3)
If we try to create the GR document again in SRM, the message "Item is already being processed" is shown, so cannot make BUS2203 Docs.
To sort out this, we remove the GR Transfer Error Information in
    BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB.
After removing the information of this error in BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB, surprisingly we can make GR successfully.
    Weird!.
Only for a particular PO which has a material, but not everytime.
    Sometimes this problem happens.
At the first time, it doesn't work, but after removing the data from BBP_DOCUMENT_TAB, when we try GR again it works.
Could you help me why this symptom happends..?
Edited by: Hyangsook Moon on Feb 28, 2008 6:44 AM

    Hi Hyangsook Moon,
The system is allowing  you to create Confirmation again in SRM because the status is not yet updated in SRM since the G.R is not created in the backend successfully.
Since the confirmation is created in SRM and could not able to create G.R in R/3 through IDOC the system is giving you message as " Document is being processed".
So the system is allowing you to create confirmation again once you delete the table entry.
Hope this makes you more clear.Clarifications are welcome.
    Award points for helpful answers.

  • After Transporting the request RFC Destination is empty in SWCV and BEA

    Hi All,
we are using SAP NW Mobile 7.1 SP08
After transporting the SWCV & Backend adapter, in the transported system the RFC Destination is empty
Please help me to fix this issue.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Joseph Beevin.

    Hi,
When an SWCV is trnasported to a another system, the backend destination will be empty in the target system.,We need to configure the bakcned destination in the target sytem through the DOE Adimin.
    DOE_ADmin Portal -->Configuration --->Backend Configuration.
In the backend configuration, select the SWCV for which the destination needs to be configured.Select the parameter "RFC  DESTINATION FOR BACKEND"
When the SWCV is selected all the active Data Objects will be listed in the table below
Insert the above parameter to the parameter list(the table below)
Give the name of the availlable backemnd destination name in the "text value" column of the table for each data object and save it.
Now the backend destination is configured correctly in the target system. Please try this..

now i am creating new sc(only 1 line item will bein sc) with the above po number .
1.system should check whether the  po exists in the backend system....if not ...throw error mesage.(if entered)
2.if yes, after approval and before creating backend document, system should update(change) the existing po(0000783) comparing with  new sc .
it shouldn't create new po for that sc(new)
    3. the new sc should be deleted.(can we delete sc after  approval?)....if no any other suggestion to achieve.
    4. updated (change ) made should be reflected in the history of sc(1000089).
    5. if po number is not given in the sc field...the system should follow the standard ..to create back end document.

  • Direct contract in the backend - Classic Scenery SRM 7.0

    Hi Masters,
I´m using SRM 7.0 Package 08 in the classic scenery.
I´m trying to create a direct contract of a QUOT acepted and that need to go to the backend.
    I´m using two badis:
    BBP_DETERMINE_LOGSYS
Where the variable CV_LOGSYS is with the system backend destiny
    BBP_CTR_BE_CREATE
Where the variable IV_LOGICAL_SYSTEM is with the system backend destiny.
Where the variable CV_USER is with the user RFC.
    The result is generating myself a message: " CONTRACT 4400000041 - WAS CREATED " (/SAPSRM/PDO_WKL455 BPP_PD455)
But that contract is not available in SRM and it is not also available in ECC.
    I forgetting something?
    Thank you,
    Pedro Marques

I believe that it exists yes possibility, as well as it comments on the text of the badi:
    Use
With Business Add-In BBP_CTR_BE_CREATE, you can replace or supplement existing contract data in SAP Enterprise Buyer with your own backend structures and tables.
Enterprise Buyer calls this BAdI before it makes the RFC to the backend system to create a contract.
    Activities
Implement and activate the BAdI if you wish to create contracts in the backend system and replace or supplement contract data.
    Anybody have some idea?
    Thanks,
    Pedro

  • Error On Distribution Model in the Backend

    Hello,
I'm customizing our SRM and Backend to work together.
I'm in the part Distribution Model. It works on SRM but on my backend, when I want to "Generate Partner" I have a message "No messages have been defined for the selection conditions in the model" and nothing is done.
    I don't know why...
I don't know if it is link but me RFC connexion that I created on SRM to link to the backend name for example ABC_020 and in the backend is one RFC is ABCMAND020. doesn't it matter if they don't have the same name?
    Thanks in advance.
If someone has a cookbook or documentation about SRM can you please send me at "[email protected]"
    Thanks twice.

    Hi Eileen,
We have observed that without local RFCs i.e.
    SRM to SRM
    R/3 to R/3
the business objects (matl/services) don't get replicated as you can not configure the Middleware sites in SMOEAC.
Don't know whether it will help for Distribution model but worth trying

  • Sending cache notifications to the backend ABAP

    Hi,
    1. How the cache notifications are sent to the backend ABAP?
    2. What is the role of INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI ( /dir/CacheRefresh )?
    3. If I need to require cache notifications to be sent from PI (ABAP 7.1) to ECC (ABAP 7.0), do i need to  have INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI in ECC?
    Thanks and regards,
    Sreehari

    Hi Abhishek,
Just want to be clear about one thing. If INTEGRATION_DIRECTORY_HMI stores the cache updates, and I need to send these updates to ECC ( which is on a seperate AS ),  ideally I should be having the RFC destination in ECC as well.
My understanding was if the RFC destination exist in PI, it will send cache notifications to the ABAP of PI. If we need to send cache notifications to some other ABAP system in the landscape, we need to have the RFC destination there as well. Please correct me if I am wrong.
    Many Thanks and regards,

  • How to call a previous operation in the routing in the backend?

(We have a requirement to call a previous operation in the routing in the backend and create-assemble-complete the SFC.)
    Routing would be u2013 OPERATION_1 -> OPERATION_2 -> OPERATION_3
The SFC has not been create and we are using u201CCreate SFC On Demandu201D.
The production operator is given the SFC value to use, however, the POD is configured to START the SFC at OPERATION_2
The desire is to process the SFC at OPERATION_1 as a u201Cblindu201D operation to production.
The question: If we use a PRE_START activity, is it possible to launch the PRE_START activity at OPERATION_2 and have the activity:
    1) Create the SFC,
    2) Start the SFC at OPERATION_1,
    3) Assemble a child SFC (part of the activity information),
    4) Complete the SFC at OPERATION_1,
    5) Upon completion of the SFC at OPERATION_1 finalize the activity and allow the SFC to start at OPERATION_2 normally?

    Hi,
a managed property only gives you a anlde to a bean or property, it doesn't execute it. To execute a bean, you can use a custom JSF PhaseListener that calls a bean method. The reference to the bean is achieve through value binding
    ValueBinding vb = FacesContect.getCurrentInstance().getApplication().createValueBinding("Name of Managed Bean);
    TypeOfBean theBean =(TypeOfBean) vb.getValue(FacesContext.getCurrentInstance());
    .... theBean.theMethod() ...

  • Attaching a pdf file in the backend

    Hi All,
    I have the following requirement.
I have a certain Backend table and I am using a FM to send all the data from it to the middleware and then to the client.
Now I need to pass a pdf (or an image) file from the backend to the client.
Like one can add a file in some field of the table and when the client syncs, the file should go to the client.
Any Ideas how should I go about it?
    Any suggesstions will be helpful.
    Thanks a lot...
    Ankur

    Hi,
well, if you have a method in the backend, you have two possible options:
No. 1 is to use the GENERIC sync, call this method and deliver the string itself.
The second one is the one I described above as well: Take the binary string, split it into pieces and store these pieces as items in a SyncBO. On the client, take these chunks, put them together to one bit and save it.
The only hint I can give you to see how this works is to check the MAM Signature capturing solution - this doies the same on the other way - take an image on the client, split it into chunks and send it to the backend.
Perhaps a little more in detail: There is no field in a syncBO that is able to take an object that is longer 255 characters. The longest thing we have to store values is the STRING method. And this is able to store about 255 chars.
So do the following: create a SyncBO. In the top structure zou store name, date, assigned user,.... all data you like to specify this Object. Then the BO has an item 010. This item has two fields: INDEX and ITEM. You have the PDF. Lets say as raw string you have a string of 290 chars. So you create a first instance of item 010, INDEX is 0, and the first 250Chars you store in ITEM. Then you create a new instance of 010, INDEX is 1 and the ITEM contains the last 40 chars. On the client, you just take the two items, put them into the right oder and then save the string with its 290chars to the HDD.
Just another thing to clarify: in the moment you have a file, you can read it and store it in a simple STRING. If you then take this string and save it again with its filename, then the informaiton is still complete. There is no special conversion necessary in 99.9% of the cases.
I hope this helps you to get the thing done. If not, please specify exactly where I have lost you, I try to explain that point then more in detail.
    Regards,
    Oliver
p.s.: Just to make it more simple: Long Text in MAM is handeled exactly the same way. They split the text into chunks of 132chars and store it in MAM010Item090

  • System-Copy on the Backend

    Hi,
we are planing to make a copy from our productive-system P11 to the test-System C11. Our SRM-Server is connected to the existing C11 (Client 100). What must I do on the SRM-Server (SRM Server 5) to stay correctly connected? Just copy P11 to C11 won't work - because the GUID's for objects on the Backend (e.g. in the table COMM_CATEGORY on the SRM Server) will no longer match.
I looked for some guides on the SAP Service Portal - but the only document I found was dated July 2002 - and describes what to do if you want to make a copy of the EBP System...
    Yours
    Jürgen

    Hy Jürgen,
First of all, the GUIDs are not used in the Backend, but only localy.
    The problem you'll get are:
    -RFC/ALE configuration
-Logical system in the Org.plan and some other atributes(the standard program BDLS doesn't change the attributes), for that use program RHOMATTRIBUTES_REPLACE from note #336688
-You have to re-synchronize the number ranges (for PR,PO and reservations depending on the integration scenario you use)
-The vendors may differ between your 2 systems
    Hope it'll help.
    Regards.
