Ignore some specific Open item in AR during credit check

Hi,
User had a customer whose AR open items are subjected to "settlement issues" and are still opened after 90 days.
The customer had been assigned a risk category that will blocked the sales order when open item is more than 90 days.
How can I configured such that the credit check will bypass the selective open item (AR) document line items for a certain customer without changing the same checking for other customer within the same credit control area.
Currently, whenever a sales order is raised, it would be blocked by the above and the documentation to releasing it can takes over a few days. Not only that, a hugh paperwork are required as stipulated by audit requirement.
Any options to bypass selectively?
Thanks

If Im reading this right you want the open AR item that is in dispute excluded from credit check thus not placing new orders on hold due to the oldest item check
Create a special G/L indicator that is excluded from credit check. During the AR process this indicator can be applied to either the total invoice or the remaining amount. The system will then exclude the disputed item from credit checks allowing all other sales to proceed as normal without affecting the way the credit check works for all customers. Once the dispute is resolved and if the amount becomes an actual outstanding recievable the indicator can be removed and will once again be included in the scope of credit check for the specific customer.

  • Open items not considering in credit check.

    Dear Experts,
We have implemented credit management in our new role out company code with the same credit controlling area for both company codes.
As per our configuration at the time of sales order creation, credit limit has to be checked and check the open items and oldest open items. It is working fine in old company code, but in new company code its not considering the open/old open items its only checking the credit exposure value. But the old company code its checking the credit exposure and open items and old open items.
In OVA8 we have configured the below way
selected the Dynamic check box  - reaction C
selected the Cretical fields check box  - reaction A
selected the Open items check box  - reaction A
selected the OldestOpen items check box  - reaction A
The above credit management is working fine in quality for both company codes, but in production its working fine only old company code.
I have already checked the all relevant configuration and requests, there is no issue in configuration.
Please let me know the possibilities for not considering the open items for credit check

    Hello
You are absolutely right ,  the automatic credit control is at credit control Area level and not at company code level. Need to know few things from your end.
why business has not set up the new credit control area, when new company code has been configured. I think this would have made more sense .........
however its bit strange that sales recevables are not getting considered in the credit check, only in production ....... I think you need to keep your search on in SDN as well as try to search for any sap not in Service market .......
Once you get the answer; hope you update the thread ........
wish you luck in your search ......
    Cheers
    Big Screams ...........

    Hi,
Open items check means it will consider all the open items when it is doing credit check. Here it adds all the open items amount and do the credit check..
Oldest open item means it will consider only the oldest open item and based on tht i will do credit check..Here i will check the oldest open item value and its date then do the credit check..
Coming to payment terms check, system is responding correctly.. because payment terms are immed due net. tht means still time is there in the same day. that is the reason it is not blocking the second document.
once move to 2nd day then it means first doc is not cleared tht is the reason it is blocking the 2 nd doc on 2nd doc..
    Hope u have understand..

  • Open sales order value for credit check need to be changed (S066)

    Hi all,
I need to change open sales order value which is already there in S066 table.
Previously we had used open order value for credit check. Open order values are already updated in the S066 table.
Now we dont want to consider open order value for credit check (which is already included in the credit exposure field in FD32).
When we create sales order system is taking old open order value for credit. Now i have changed not to update open order value for credit check. Now its not updating open order value. But my issue is how to change existing or (previous) open order value for credit?
Can i change S066 table data directly to '0'. Is it advisable to chage open order value directly from this table?
    Please advise me.
    Regards,
    Babu

    Hi Babs,
If you doesn't want to reflect the open order value in the structure for this order value ,If the order is not processed kindly delete the line items and the order. Then save the document. Then try to see the structure S066.. This will be modified.
If you want to modify the value then follow the below process.
Otherwise delete the line item in the order and change the pricing date and the document date. Re enter the line item again so that it will take it up the new changes.
    I hope it will help.

  • How to Avoid Open Sales Order Value from Credit Check

    Hello Everyone,
We have a problem with Credit Management, When my user run the execute credit master sheet, system is considering open sales order value under Credit limit used. My user do not want consider open sales order value, they want only Open delivery and Open Billing value need to appear in Credit limit used.
Is it possible to avoid open sales order values, if yes what setting i need to do....please help me.
    Thanks
    Sudheer

    Sudheer,
You need to check the update rule given in the definition of the Credit control Area which you are using for credit management. If you want only the open deliveries then you need to have update rule 15 in the credit control area.
In the credit controal settings, you need to have settings for the credit check at the delivery level.
Hope this will solve your issue.

  • RV042 - How to close all ports and leave some specific open

    Hello everybody,
Here is the scenario of my network:
    - A company with 20 branches in Rio de Janeiro area. The main servers are in a datacenter located in downtown.
Each branch has a RV042 router with firmware version 1.3.12.19-tm (Feb 13 2009 13:03:21) installed.
All users in this network have a proxy configuration pointing to proxy.[blah].com.br port 3128.
The HTTP/HTTPS traffic should go through proxy only.
The network settings for every RV042 are similar:
    RV042 LAN IP = 172.16.***.1 /24.
    RV042 WAN IP = 192.***.***.*** /30.
    Network Setting Status
    LAN IP: 172.16.***.1 /24
    WAN1 IP: 192.168.***.*** /30
    WAN2 IP: Not used
    Mode: Router
    DNS(WAN1): 208.67.220.220 / 208.67.222.222 [OpenDNS Service]
    DNS(WAN2): Not used
    Firewall Setting Status
    SPI (Stateful Packet Inspection): On
    DoS (Denial of Service): On
    Block WAN Request: On
Firewall -> Access Rules Section: Please see below
    The problem:
    - Some "smart" users were caught using Ultrasurf application, which changes the proxy settings to go through port 9666 or even 443.
In other machines, we've found some black proxies [for example: 212.46.27.142 port 8080].
    My objective:
    - To close all ports in Firewall -> Access Rules section and grant permission only to some selected and specified ports.
    - To redirect all HTTP/HTTPS connections to go to proxy's IP address only.
Gentlemen, could you please tell me which Access Rules can I set in these RV042s in order to block and prevent these users to continue abusing this network? Is there anything else am I missing?
P.S.: The users who were caught using Ultrasurf were fired. ;-)
    I gladly appreciate your comments.
    Thanks in advance,
    Luciano

    Hello Randy,
Thanks for your answer. But let me tell you better. In this scenario, all machines in LAN can use RDP and VNC normally.
I want to block everything else, just to avoid users to try using other ports.
You might want to try Deny all traffic out, except for the PC's you need  to use RDP, and then only allow 80, and 443 to the proxy.[blah].com.br  port 3128. This way all web traffic would have to pass through that  proxy, otherwise it would be denied.
In this network, we use VNC to provide remote IT support to users in these branches.
They use RDP to access some servers in the datacenter.
I think that the rule below line 6 is letting users go and traverse the proxy.
Priority    Policy Name    Enable    Action    Service        Source Iface    Source    Destination        Time    Day
    *                                                  Allow    All Traffic [1]             LAN     Any        Any                  Always
How can I modify this access rule? It seems it cannot be altered.
    Thanks in advance,
    Luciano

  • How to restrict vendor open items to be picked to 45 during F110 process

    Hi experts,
My client want to restrict vendor open items to be picked to 45 max during F110 payment run for each vendor.
For example: If vendor " xyz" is having 60 open items at the time of payment run, it should allow max  to pick only 45 open items and generate one clearing document during payment run F110.
Kindly give me any suggestions weather it is possible or not.
    Thanks & regards,
    Raghul

    hi ,
    Thanks for your quick reply.
Actually we are using only payment method C- check.
We have developed ZFORM and ZPROGRAM by copying standard form F110_PRENUM_CHCK  and std prog RFFOUS_C.
In My ZFORM only single page is there with invoice details in main window ( upper side ) and check in the below page.
when i had taken print on  pre printed stationary sample i came to know in main window at maximum 45 items details can be dispalyed in first page with  total amt check in below  for each vendor.
Its works fine if each vendor has open items  below 45 during payment run.
If any of the vendor is having more than 45 open items then 2 pages are printing.
For ex: if vendor having 60 open items.
For Ex : In first page 45 invoices details with  say total invoice amt 30,000 is printing check with same amt.
in second page remaining 15 invoices with say total invoice amt of this 15 inovices is 5000 amt is printing check with 35,000 Instead of 5,000.
We are not using void check concept here as my client dont want to waste checks.
    thansk & regards,
    Raghul.

    Hi Ralph,
Yes we are having two company codes.your understanding on this point is rite.
I am using the standard file upload functionality from the presentation server for uploading the non-sap company data.since in the earlier thread i had explained very detail level, so now had made it short.
The only issue that I am having is that I have just one line item in my upload file and it is from non sap company L001 for trading partner u001. File gets loaded (data selected 1 correctly), Then after all the steps when I am in the last step (reconciliation) I see that line getting reconciled with other line available in U001 with zero difference. That looks good because it is matching as per my rule. but I am also seeing some other open items in U001 that are also getting reconciled with no lines in file with difference equal to their values. They should not show up in the bottom part of reconciliation part at all as they are still open in U001 and should not get reconciled until I put their offsetting lines in upload file from L001. So they should stay at the top right side in simple words I am seeing open items as well in reconciliation portion bottom one even I do not have any lines to reconcile them and they are showing a balance in them as well.
    Thanks in advance.
Let me know, if you need any more details.
    Regards,
    Karthik

  • Open items check in OVA8

    Hi Friends,
Can you let me know the impact if I have not maintain the *Max open item% *and maintained only No days openit as 5 in OVA8 transaction.
    Thank you,
    Ram

    Hi,
You need to do some testing to understand clearly on how the sytsem behaves,
In normal scenario, the field Max.open item % is used in tandem with NoDays openl.
In the field Max.open item %,  a % is added which denotes the ratio of the open items overdue by a certain number of days (which you mention in the field NoDays Openl) to the customer's balance should not exceed that % value.
If no value is maintained in the % field  then, I assume, it is going to denote 0%. So when the ratio between open items overdue by certain days to the total customer's balance will always be more than 0% during credit check. This means the customer will always be in credit block (to me which makes no sense).
As mentioned before, do a test by changing the settings before moving any further.
    Regards
P.S: I can see some questions you have posted earlier, which are still open. Can you please close if those threads are answered so that the members can understand which answers really helped solve your problem. Thanks.

  • Unable to Clear Vendor open items in F.13

    Hi All,
We have few vendor codes, where all are having some normal open items as well as Spl GL open items and net balance is 0.
When we do clearing with F-44, No issues at all
But when we try to clear them through F.13, system is grouping normal open items and Spl GL transactions separately.
If i choose  Shortlist (Statistics) in selection screen, then only atleast i will be able to see normal line items in one group and spl gl items in another group.
If i choose, Detailed List with Error Log, i am not able to see anything related to any kind of line items.
So then, i red the documentation of the program SAPF124, in that it says Down payments can only be cleared if down payment clearing for the same amount has been posted.
As we all know that, each spl GL transaction can be cleared against one normal transaction in F-54. But in our case, we never do that practice, and always want to clear spl GL transactions along with normal transactions.
My question is that, Is it mandatory to clear them in F-54 before doing F.13?
As i know, there is an check box option for selecting spl GL transactions in F.13....in this case why should i clear prior to F.13?
    Please advise...
    Regards,
    Srinu

    Hi Gaurav,
    Thanks for your inputs.
I agree with you, but my intention is to know, whether any possibility (change of internal selection criterion for recon account)
to clear them automatically in F.13 without doing F-54 only.
Anyhow i have found two other alternative solutions for the same.
    1) Batch input recording for F-44 in LSMW.
    2) Using worklist instead of vendor code in F-44 to clear all items at one go.
As our business won't follow clearing with F-54, so this requirement may come often.
But only my concern is, they need to identify these cases separately and spend more time to add each vendor code to that worklist, since they are not able to add a range of vendor codes directly. As it allows only single values.
So, is there any other way, which we can suggest them to add 10000+ vendor codes to the same worklist, since we can add 12 codes at one go and repeating the same will take time
    Regards,
    Srinu

  • F-44 Clear Vendor Open Items

    Hi Guru's,
We are trying to manually clear some vendor open items using t-code F-44. For some reason we are not able to find the invoice so that we can clear when we go to F-44. However, if you go to FBL1N and pull the vendor open items as of 7/1/09 you can see the invoice listed there as an open item.
Can someone please help me on this?
    Best Regards,
    Noopers

Assuming the vendor document is not cleared there could be two reasons why the document is not in F-44
    - Wrong company code
    - A special G/L indicator  - Document is a special GL document and in F-44 selection screen indicator is missing.
    Try additional selection -document number.

  • Selecting open items in F-03 using additional selections

I need to select open items in a GL account using more than one additional selection eg. document type, posting date, assignment
I select Additional Selections then document type then add a document type, then I select Other Selection - posting date and then Process Open Items. Only the first selection for document type is recognised.
    Is this a bug?
Edited by: Richard Somerset on Jan 7, 2009 5:14 PM

However SAP help suggest that this can be done
    Searching for Open Items
    Use
After you have entered an account with open items, you can search for specific open items to be cleared.
On the screen for selecting open items, you can search for specific open items to be cleared using the following additional selection fields:
    Gross amount
    Document number
    Posting date
Other fields depending on the system configuration
    Procedure
To search for open items using the additional selection criteria, proceed as follows:
Choose one of these fields, such as Posting date, then choose Execute.
The screen for entering selection criteria appears.
Enter one or more single values or ranges within the selection, such as 01/01/1993 through 01/31/1993 for a range of posting dates.
To search for specific open items by other criteria (optional), choose Edit ® Select more.
Repeat steps 1 and 2 for the other selection criteria.
After you enter your selection criteria, you have the following options:
Display the list of open items by choosing Goto ® Open items.
Display the clearing document header and the items entered so far by choosing Goto ® Doc. Overview.
Post the clearing document by choosing Document ® Post

  • FBL3N - line item visible both as open item and as cleared item

    Hello,
Please can you tell me possible reasons for which I see the same line item in FBL3N as an open item when I check "open items" and as cleared when I check for "cleared items".
    Thank you !
    Daniel N.

    There is a small correction:
It is not partial it is residual.
In case of partial your original document will be intact - Open items will show debit, credit and the balance.
In case of residual, your original amount will be deducted and a new entry gets posted as if there is a new transaction. For example from 100 USD if 40 USD has been cleared, then two line items will be shown in 40 as cleared items and a new line 60 will be generated in open items 60. But, this 60 will have different document number.
I think there is some issue the way in which selection criteria has been selected.
Please do not see the open items at a key date. Because that date it might be open item, later at a stage it might have become a cleared item.
Do not restrict any dates and see the total items (cleared items and open items) and let me know if the same document is showing as cleared as well as open. This is more unlikely and I have not seen.
    Regards,
    Ravi

  • Clear Open Items

    Experts,
I am planning to clear some vendor open items through LSMW - Before doing that, i wanted to do a normal manual g/l entry - I created a new document type for this kind of transaction, but that how would the g/l entry i enter close the open item of the vendor because the G/L entry i am doing is simply going to Dr the vendor account and Cr the clearing account ( i created for this purpose) .
    Would that be enough??
All answers would be duly rewarded with points.
    Thanks,
    Nandita

try to enter the LSMW entry through the sub ledger account (vendor).... in that case only u will be able to clear the vendor open items.....
