Image accesibility

I have a sequence of images that appear and then fade through
out a slide. Other than describing them in the properties within
the narration script (description) as they come up, is there
another option? Am I 508 compliant doing it this way? I am used to
html where every image had to have alt text. Thanks for any advise!

There are a few ways you can handle this. If there's nothing
else on the slide except the photos - consider breaking them up on
separate slides. Then, in storyboard view, right-click on the slide
and select Properties. Now select Accessibility. In this text box
you can include text that will be made available for a screen
reader.

Accesing image files in java beans

hi all
I am developing an application which needs to access images files put in image folder in java bean file.
I tried a lot by using different methods and failed always, except in case of absolute path which I dont want to use.
My directory structure is as below
/Web-apps
/MyApp
index.html
myjsp.jsp
/Images
img1.png
/WEB-INF
/classes
/beans
GraphBean.java
In GraphBean.java I have the code
ImageIcon imageIcon = null;
imageIcon = new ImageIcon("../image/img1.PNG");Cureently the path is worng and the image cant be displayed.
I want to know what path I should give to get the image img1.png.

The disk file system knows nothing about the application which is asking for the file. You should always use absolute file system paths. In this case you can use ServletContext#getRealPath() to convert a relative web URL to an absolute filesystem path. Then use this in ImageIcon.

Problem in accesing Image from KM Content

Hello All,
I am having problem in accessing/viewing Image (the one which is uploaded in KM Content) in Quick poll IView.
It shows only image if the user has Content Administration role. It doesn't show if the user doesn't hv this role.
I suspect the problem is with user permissions for the image.
Please, help where I went wrong. Appreciate your time and valuable inputs.

Accesibility Issues with Image element

Hi All,
I've image element inside a table column. Image used is '~Icon/RedLed'.
Image source and tool tip are bound properly.
But we are facing an accessibility issue in this.
When accessibility mode is set to X, image tool tip reads as
'Image - Unavailable - Error Exist - Row 6 column Status'
where 'Error Exist' is the tooltip we are providing.
The problem is with 'Unavailable' word which is also coming up.
Also, Image is also rendered, so there is no issue like image path is not found therefore Unavailable word is comin.
Does anyone have any clue why this could be comnig up.

Low FPS when accesing iPhone video output image buffer

Hi, I'm trying to do some image processing on iPhone. I'm using http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#qa/qa2010/qa1702.html to capture the camera frames.
My problem is that when I'm trying to access the captured buffer, the camera FPS drops from 30 to about 20. Does anybody knows how I can fix it?
I use the lowest capture quality I could find (AVCaptureSessionPresetLow = 192x144) in kCVPixelFormatType_32BGRA format. If anybody knows a lower quality I could use, I'm willing to try it.
When I do the same image access on other platforms, like Symbian, it works OK.

I also happen to have T-Mobile, but the problem happened on WiFi as well as you mentioned and therefore didn't seem to be related to carrier.
I expect your videos are playing normally again like mine since yesterday morning. I guess it had something to do with the video codecs/standards being used by major video service providers like you thought, but I found it curious that so many different video sources beyond YouTube caused me the same problem during that time. I did find that Daily Motion worked fine when the other services weren't working, so I knew it had to be service (and what standards they were using) specific.
Still, how were there not tons and tons of other people experiencing this!? I had it happen on both my 6+ and my iPhone 4. Maybe there were other factors specific to my area/connection (outside of connection speed which was always fine) that resulted in it, but still...

Is there a way to delete the download button on the lightbox template? My site has my professinal photos and I prefer that even small sized images not be easily accesable to visitors?

In the iWeb templates I use the Darkroom template. Within it there is a download button that appears after a visitors clicks on the slideshow option. Since these images are my professional work and medical related I would prefer that this download option not exist. Is there a way to remove this from the template?

Accesing url idle ccm 5.1: where upload the image file?

I'm trying to work the url idle feature in ccm 5.1.
The phone gets the message error http (404).
I have the default configuration on the enterprise parameters of the callmanager and I have upload the xml image file in the tftp directory and in a ccmcip directory, but it doesn't work.
Where must I upload the image file or why it dosn't work?

Anonymous Portal ... Problem accessing images, css, js

Hi, i'm trying to build a web site to be accesed from internet and i'm having some trouble with some specific points (i'm new with SAP). I've seen many questions like this in the forums but none are finally answered.
I setup the anonymous portal based on SAP Instructions (help.sap), i'm using the Guest user to the anonymous users and i can access without login throught this adress http://localhost:50000/irj/portal/anonymous.
<b>First Question</b>
When i create a html using the html editor from the KM it work fine, i can see the page with the styles i used; but when i inssert an image uploaded, the page start to ask for authentication and don't show the image, if i enter a valid user and password it shows the image correctly. I tryed assinging permissions to the Guest user over the image and it doesn't work. Locally i create a html and i upload it through the KM, i used separate .css file (style sheet file) and .js file (javascript file) to make some effects but when i load the html to the KM Document Iview it shows only the text and doesn't recognize the files with the styles or the javascript; i have the html over the abc_htmlfiles directory (my test directory) and the css files on the css directory, look this is the directory structure on KM:

/root/documents/abc_htmlfiles/css/styles0.css

from the html i've tried to access the .css and .js like this:

First Question
I solved my problem following the SAP Note 837898, I am using the NW04 SP16 - Enterprise Portal 6.0.
The problems as i understood is that SAP Portal uses WebDav authentication throught the default access /irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/, to avoid that authentication when using anonymous you have to config the portal to allow this path to access the documents in KM /irj/go/km/docs/. The way you config the portal is described step by step in the <b>Note 837898</b> .. I followed all the steps (including the ones who modifies the Standard User Role iviews in Portal Content) and finally i restarted the Portal.
It works for me and my SAP EP version.
Second Question
The 2nd Question was solved the way one of the posters said in this thread, but to anonymous portals after config the Note 837898 you should use the path <b>/irj/go/km/docs/</b> to avoid the authentication window which prompts for the user and password.

Third Question
The menus in SAP portal are made with Roles and assigned to the groups that are going to have access to the options of the menus .. it's quite simple following the links suggested in the answers already posted in this thread.

Mac freezes when using Core Image apps (iMaginator, Lineform-) but-

… not with Apple Core Image apps like iPhoto or Aperture.
The computer freezes and after rebooting and checking the logfile, it says :

I've upgraded my G4 AGP with a Radeon 9800 pro. It seems to be a driver issue or a Core Image bug. After talking with an expert from Strange Dogs, it could be a driver issue concerning especially the G4 AGP and the 9800 pro. Does some one know something about this problem ?

Hey, what os version are You using ?
It's possible that it's hard drive but also its possible that is just ram.
Get same software for disk test and check whats the time for accesing data.
Also you might check ram, easest way is to open any file document and just copy any text with cmd+c cmd+v
to the moment the ram would be almoust full then remove all text. if it crashes then it seems that its ram

Java Swing GUI Button Image

Hi, I really need help with this one, I have tried many things and looked at many pages for this but to no avail as of yet.
I have a Swing GUI in which I want to display an image. The way I am displaying it at the moment is as a button icon as I do not need to be able to alter the images. I can also use the button functionality as displaying something when the image is clicked. So I have an array of image paths which are accesed to load an image into the button and a "Next" button to change the image as required.
My problem is that when I load an image into the button it moves from it's original location. When there is no image displayed the button is where I want it to be, but when I load an image it moves, this cannot happen. Any ideas.
Also, when I am trying to click thru the array of images, it starts at the 1st image in the array but then skips to the last image in the array. Here is the code for that.

Can you show at a glance which event images are in albums?

Say I had an event containing multiple similar but different images, is there a way to show in the grid view for example which images have already been used in one or more albums?
Would be handy to be able to select a 'show list of albums containing this image'dialogue box. I guess you could hide images you've used but that wouldn't work automatically, nor would any other tagging/rating.
Another approach would be to make albums containing everything in a given event, then move the images out of that album once used, just seems fiddly to me.

Yes it would and many people have suggested tit. Add your voice to the chorus at iPhoto Menu -> Provide Apple Feedback.
A workaround - and it's no better - is to go to an album and select al, then give all those pics a keyword. Then in grid view you can see which pics have the keyword. (View -> Keywords)

did you install jacob ? with the correct version number described in the installation-guides.
jacob is not an oracle tool, which normally is only useful for COM-commands against windows.
What did you do with the image?

System Image Restore in Window 8.1

I have not been able to find a data migration application that works at cloning a Windows 8.1 hard drive to a new SSD. With that in mind I want to go about moving the contents, data and operating system from my working C: to a new SSD. I want
to go about it as if I have backed up my system, my C: drive has failed so I need to install a new drive and restore my data and operating system to the new drive. I can't seem to find any simple (this should be simple) straight forward way to do this
nor can I find any form of written instruction on how to go about this.
I would love to have someone articulate this. As it stands I have a fully operational intact C drive. I have completed a disk image to a second separate hard drive. I now want to restore that content to a third (SSD ) drive.

There is a system backup tool called System Image Backup, follow these steps to conduct this:
Swipe in from the right edge of the screen, and then tap Search.
(If you're using a mouse, point to the upper-right corner of the screen, move the mouse pointer down, and then click Search.)
Enter File History in the search box, tap or click File History, and then click System Image Backup at the left part.
See the screenshot as below, you can backup it on local machine or a DVD or a network share folder:
Besides, I need to point out that this backup method will generate a vhd file, if you want to restore the system you need an DVD installation midia.
You cannot just restore a vhd file directly to the hard drive.

Adobe Photoshop CS2 opening an image in middle of CS opening screen?

Can anyone please help me with a way of opening images in CS2 where after opening they will appear in the middle
of the CS screen rather then in the top left corner?
I can drag and maximize so they appear in the middle, but on reopening another image they default to the top left again, I would like them to always
open in the middle?

Still having problems? I was struggling to find any documentation for CS2 online, but realised that my bookshelf goes back to Photoshop 6, and I have Martin Evening's Photoshop for Photographers CS2. Unfortunately, I could see nothing in any of the Preferences tabs that would help.
At this stage I don't really know what you have tried? You should try to reset your workspace, and if that does nothing, reset your preferences. The usual way to do that is to hold down Shift Alt Ctrl while opening Photoshop, but I don't know for sure that worked with CS2.
