Image.createImage() on benq-siemense M81 and SE z530i (using google maps)

I'm getting static google maps to show them in my j2me application. There is one problem...
Code for shoing image:

}Data coming to preimage. Size of it is OK. But Image.createImage() method doesnt work on z530i. I dont see any messages with exceptions... Whats wrong? Maybe data format? I tryed GIF, JPG, PNG32. Result is the same...

Images from other resources (not google maps) loading whithout problems.

Hello
I rooted my Sony Ericsson Arc S by following your excellent and easy to understand instuctions in order to remove some of the unwanted crap that came preloaded on the phone and in order to install the rooted version of Avast antivirus/antitheft app.
Everything has worked perfectly well for the last few months since doing this however now I am unable to update the phone via the sony ericsson update service.
Please advise

Maps and other apps using Google Maps

All map related apps no longer work correctly, although the iPhone knows my correct location. For example...
Using the "Where To?" app to find a "Convenience Store" where I am it it suggests one in Austin TX - not convenient as I'm in Australia!
Using the "Maps" app and searching a local bookmarked location it shows a pin on Australia in a world view - a waste of time!
Using the "Maps" app to get directions from "Current Location" to any bookmarked location keeps putting the pins at the same location. Select the "Edit" button shows "Current Location" in both text boxes and is happening most of the time - therefore useless!
Using the same local bookmarked location as a pure search sometimes brings up the world map or works, but the get directions option doesn't.
The iPhone Maps worked great on version 2.

I experienced the same a couple of times at first but since a couple of shut down/start ups, it hasn't happened again.
Even with my Razr 3xx, it was recommended to me by an AT&T Wireless technical support agent to turn the phone off and off every few days or so (I have a habit of leaving cell phones on 24/7 probably like just about everyone else) and even though the iPhone runs OS X, the same may apply.

I have a problem when using Google Maps, at some point my computer blanks the window and says there's a problem with display drivers, and it has recovered,but it doesn't. Problem doesn't happen with Int Explorrer, so I do not believe it is the computer

When using google maps through Firefox, after asking for a place which is not the general North America section which routinely comes up, the firefox screen goes white, with a narrow banner at the top. A message appears in the lower right corner which says something about display drivers having had a problem, but now have recovered. However the display doesn't recover and the banner message is that Firefox is not responding. When I go to restart Firefox if I go to the restore point, the page is still frozen out.
I do not believe it is a problem with my computer because it doesn't happen if I use I.E. to go to google maps, then G-maps works normally.
This phenomenon did not happen before the latest upgrade to either Google or Firefox. I have used Fiefox for a number of years and also Google Maps on previous computers and on this one, and not had this before.
This is a relatively young computer (Asus EeSlate 121) less than a year old. I have used Firefox since I bought it and until recently had no problem with Google Maps.

I solved it myself, after the "note" which came back from FF/Mozilla just as I finished my message, commenting on what it was that my system had , I wnnt back to check my plug-ins etc. I downloaded the latest Java, BOTH 32bit AND 64 bit versions and latest Firefox.
Now all is working.

What you should see on a restart is a black screen followed by a screen with the Apple (at which point you let go of the two buttons). There is no progress bar, just the Apple. The Apple will stay there for 15 seconds or so, then the "Slide to Unlock" screen will redisplay.
But, I don't think the reset will fix it for you. I just tested it, and it comes back on with the zoom still on. The only way to get it to zoom out is the tapping with the 3 fingers.
I said to double-tap....MY BAD! You need to triple-tap with three fingers!
Try that and see if it will display the zoom menu for you, or if it will zoom back out.

HT5622 why does Find My iPhone via iCloud on my iMac use Google maps and not Apple maps?

when I use Find My iPhone through iCloud on my iMac, the app uses Google maps to display locations. Why? Shouldn't it use Apple maps?

I used Apple maps on my iPhone, iPad and iMac and prefer it over Google maps except for street view (which albeit has an annoying, difficult to use interface). In El Salvador, Apple maps was certainly more accurate than Google maps. I like Apple maps turn-by-turn navigation via my Sonata's sound system, quite nice

If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one.

I lost my only navigation tool bar, so I can only open one window at a time, and can't use google. Help.

I'm not sure what I did, but I right clicked on my google tool bar (which I use since I can't find the Firefox navigation toolbar) and I somehow disabled it. Now I can only use one window at a time, and if I go to a website, I can't go to another without closing my current one so I can go to my homepage, which is google.

If the Menu Bar is hidden then press F10 or press and hold the Alt key down to bring up the "Menu Bar" temporarily.
Go to "View > Toolbars" or right-click the "Menu Bar" or press Alt+V T to select which toolbars to show or hide (click on an entry to toggle the state).

When I try to upload photos to a wordpress blog using Firefox an IO error occurs. I cannot upload and have to use Google Chrome

When I open Firefox and go to my wordpress web site to create a new blog, I cannot upload photos as an error message appears IO Error.

IPad Mini and Exchange Issues Using Google 2-step Verification

I cannot get my gmail email, contacts, or calendar to sync with my iPad Mini, and nothing seems to work. I've set it up with Microsoft exchange using all the proper settings of m.google.com and the app specific password from my account, but to no avail. I've tried regenerating various app specific passwords, nothing worked. I've tried updating to the latest software, but still didn't work. I've even tried wiping my iPad to restore its factory settings, but no luck at all. Any other ideas out there?

You will need to delete that iCloud account on the device, then create a new one and login with the alternate AppleID.

Is there a way to roll back ios6? I upgraded before I knew about the new mapping. I used google maps all the time and absolutely hate the new one. Just about everything I've looked for is wrong or missing.

Firefox is displaying improper dates and times while using Google calendar, however they display correctly in Internet Explorer. Firefox has always worked right before, but not now.

The Google calendar's information is accurately saved on our end on this sample page.

Can I use Google Maps in iPhone application and charge for it?

I'm looking to create a location-based application for the iphone that uses a map to display locations. I'd like to use a UIWebView to display Google Maps using their javascript API which shows a map hosted on my web site.
When my app is finished, can I charge for it in the App Store, or will this be a violation of the Google Maps API Terms of Use?
Are there any other non-free iPhone apps that embed Google Maps?

I enabled 3d in google maps, and it now crashes firefox everytime I open maps. HELP!!

I have a mac, and I was using google maps. I was trying to find the views of the actual buildings on the maps, and clicked on the 3D option in the lower left corner. That caused an immediate crash of firefox and has done so everytime I try to open google maps. The window isn't open long enough for me to try and unclick that option. Please tell me how to get my google maps back! thanks

I couldn't tell which of the many cookies was the offender, so I had to clear them all...which I know is going to mean I lost some convenience, but it was worth it. For future reference, is there a way to know which cookie is causing the problem?
