Image in table column

Hello All,
I have a table with some data in it, but one of the columns of the table I want to put an image.
Is that possible?
How do I do that?
Thanks & Regards,
Chris Bogers

Hi Chris Bogers,
Yes, it is possible to display the Image in a table.In order to display the images directly in the table use the image UI element as Cell editor in the table.Then bind the appropriate image to the column whenever you populate the data to the table bound to the table ui element ie., bind the source property to the image_source attribute.
Thanks & Regards,

  • Image in table column header to the right of the text?

    Does anyone know how I can put an image on the right of the text in the table column header?
    If I do column.setGraphic it positions image on the left, how can I change the position of the image?
    For that matter how can I set alignment of the image? Like if I want it in the corner (even left corner will do) and not next to the text?
    Appreciate any help !

    You can do this with CSS (needs an external stylesheet, can't be done (easily) with an inline style).
    Something like
    .table-view .column-header-background .label {
      -fx-content-display: right ;
    }(Untested... you may need to experiment a bit.)
    The structure of the table view control from the css perspective is documented here: http://docs.oracle.com/javafx/2/api/javafx/scene/doc-files/cssref.html#tableview

  • How to display images in a table column?

    Hi,
    In a VC model, I have to display images in a table column for each record found.
    How can this be done?
    Regards,
    Nitin

    Hi Nitin,
    It can be done by adding to the table the Image control (can be found under Advanced Controls in the Compose panel).
    In the URL property (in the Configure panel of the Image control) you can define any expression that will return the image URL. For example:
    ="http://hosting.site.url/"&@ImageNameField

    Is there a way to put images based on BLOB table columns on a JSP Page using ADF/Struts/JSP, or not ?

  • Insert an Image in Table's column

    Hello again Gurus!
    We're trying to insert an image in a table column like in answers analysis. Our issue is that we need to use some images based on conditional formatting, for example, an arrow that describes project trends.
    It can be done in Publisher's reports? Any workaround to that issue?
    Regards,
    Ariel

    With BI Publisher, you create a data model (that includes the source query) for generating the data and you use the xml generated to develop RTF templates and you would include the code (as suggested in my previous thread) in the RTF templates.
    Please use the Report Designer's guide to familiarize yourself with the process of creating the BI Publisher Report: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/bi.1111/e22254/toc.htm
    Hope that helps.

  • Images in table rows/columns

    Hi I am new to this and seem to struggle on what I think
    should be easy!
    I have one client with many pictures I want to display 4
    pictures in a row, repeating the rows until all the images for that
    client are displayed.
    Can anyone point me in the right direction with the correct
    CF tags to use
    Many thanks

    You want to use the MOD attribute.
    <!-- set how many rows across you want-->
    <cfset ColumnCount=4>
    <!-- set the physical path to your images-->
    <cfset imagefolderpath = "D:\website\folder\images">
    <!- query the folder for a list of images that are jpg -
    edit for other file types if needed-->
    <cfdirectory action="list" name="readfolder"
    directory="#imagefolderpath#">
    <cfquery dbtype="query" name="listimage">
    SELECT Type, Name
    FROM readfolder
    WHERE Type = <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_varchar"
    value="File">
    AND
    ( Name LIKE <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_varchar"
    value="%.jpg">
    OR Name LIKE <cfqueryparam cfsqltype="cf_sql_varchar"
    value="%.JPG">)
    ORDER BY Name ASC
    </cfquery>
    <!-- output images -->
    <body>
    <table>
    <tr>
    <cfoutput query="listimage">
    <cfif (listimage.CurrentRow mod ColumnCount) is 1>
    </tr><tr>
    </cfif>
    <td>
    <IMG src="../images/foldername/#name#">
    </td>
    </cfoutput>
    </tr>
    </table>
    </body>
    This is a basic proof of concept. You can style your images,
    whatever

  • Problem with LinkToURL in a table column

    Hi,
    let's say we have a LinkToURL element with a text and an image. Then a click on the text OR a click on the image navigates to the given URL.
    This behaviour changes if you put the LinkToURL element in a table column. In that case the link is executed only if you click on the text, nothing happens if you click on the image (I assume this is a bug, of have I missed a detail?). If you have a LinkToURL element without a text and with an image only, this becomes a problem.
    One column of my table contains a single image, and a click on that image shall open a link. Is there another way to do this except using a LinkToURL element?
    Thanks,
    Karsten

    Hi Valery,
    yes, this hint is exactly what I needed. I just changed the LinkToURL to a LinkToAction, and this can be activated by clicking the text OR the image.
    The necessary coding in the action handler would then look like this:
    WDWindow wnd = wdComponentAPI.getWindowManager()
         .createExternalWindow("http://www.sap.com",
         "SAP Global", false);
    wnd.open();
    Thank you very much,
    Karsten

  • Can we have more than 1 UI element in a single table column?

    Hi All,
    For example, I want to have IMAGE, ProgressIndicator and LinkToAction together as a template in a table column.
    I already tried without success. I could only add single UI elements. After that, tools won't let me do it.
    Any help or suggestion will be appreciated.
    Sub

    Hi
    You can have at one time only one UI element in the table.
    if you want to have more than one type of editors in the table then you can use table cell editors as suggested above.
    but i guess you are referring here to grouping more than one UI element in one editor or one column.
    i think that is not possible as such.
    How ever what you can do is, make use of the TABLECOLUMNGROUP.
    instead of adding column directly to the table use TABLECOLUMNGROUP and add columns to this.
    create three table column for three UI elements you are reffering here and put them in this one TABLECOLUMNGROUP.
    and add rest of the column straight to the table.
    thanks

  • Inserting an image in a column of a multicolumn listbox

    Hi,
    How can I insert an image in a column and row of a multicolumn listbox? Is it possible?
    Thanks,
    ToNi.

    To change any property of a cell, you must first select it using the Active Cell Property node, a cluster of row and column indexes. Setting the indexes values to -2 select the entire row/column/table, including the headers, setting the indexes to -1 select only the headers.
    Changing a column foreground color without affecting the header color is therefore a 3 steps operation :
    - set the active cell property to -1, n (n being he column index); read the foreground color
    - set the active cell property to -2, n; write the new foreground color
    - set the active cell property to -1; write back the previously read foreground color
    Since you cannot change programmatically the images in a ring, the pict ring array cannot be used if you want to load new images at run time.
    Use instead a picture array, as shown in the attached vi. I still use a pict ring, but that's just as a convenient image source. Replace it with your own source (file dialog for instance...)

  • Export data to excel and table column headers

    I noticed that with LV 2012 when I call the method "Export Data to Excel" for a table, the table headers (= column names) are not exported to excel.
    Am I right? I think that the column names should be exported too...
    As a matter of fact when you call the method "Export to simplified image" the column names are included
    How can I export the table column names to excel?
    Vix
    In claris non fit interpretatio
    Using LV 2013 SP1 on Win 7 64bit
    Using LV 8.2.1 on WinXP SP3
    Using CVI 2012 SP1 on Win 7 64bit, WinXP and WinXP Embedded
    Using CVI 6.0 on Win2k, WinXP and WinXP Embedded

    In this document there is a full description of how to export data from LabVIEW to Excel.
    Using a table, the method "Export data to excel" should export the "currently selected data", and data can be programmatically selected using ActiveCell property (as described here).
    With ActiveCell I can select the column headers too (using negative numbers for row and/or column), and I do this.
    And so I expect that when I select "Export data to Excel", the column headers should be exported too (because I selected them!).
    I think that the actual behavior is a bug, rather that an expected behavior.
    Don't you agree?

    ...snipped...Not very nice code... why create an empty image row, then lock it (it is already locked by the uncommitted insert statement), and then update it again? Not very efficient or sensible.
    image is on local machine.When a row is created on the server from user input on some PC, who supplied that input? Who read the user's keyboard input on that PC to obtain the values for the columns for the row to create?
    Did PL/SQL read the keyboard of that remote PC? Of course not. The client program on that PC read the keyboard input. It then made a client call to the Oracle server. It supplied the data entered via the keyboard by the user to the Oracle server (using a PL/SQL call or using a SQL statement call to Oracle).
    Now why would a local image data on that PC be treated any differently than the keyboard data on that PC? How can you expect PL/SQL code running on the Oracle server, to read that image data from the remote PC when the same PL/SQL code is incapable of reading keyboard input from that very same PC?
    You need to review your understanding of client-server and how it pertains to using Oracle within client-server architecture.

  • Problems with Image Field Table in Adobe Forms

    Hello,
    I have a desgined a Adobe Form(Print Only) in the Adobe Desinger in NWDS.
    The form layout contains a table of images in 2 columns and 3 rows. Every Column has a Image Field and a TextField displaying the Image URL.
    The URL of this image is passed at runtime.
    The problem is that when the form is rendered, All the Columns have the same image which is the URL in the first row first column. However the text field displays the correct URL.
    Is this some known bug in the Adobe Forms, or I am missing some property.
    Regards,
    Shubham

    Hi,
    The solution was to put the following code in the initialize event of the image field.
    this.value.image.href = <Photoimagepath>.rawValue;
    Where <Photoimagepath> is the image path.

  • Anchor link only for image in table header for sorting

    Hi,
    I need to implement sorting functionality for datatable.
    for sorting header of the table column will have image along with header text.
    for this i am using <h:commandLink> and <h:graphicImage>.
    But i am getting behaviour as anchor link for both text and image.
    deserved behavior for this is only ofr Image.
    If any one implemented the same ..please help me
    Regards

    Try:
    Sub ClearKeepWNext()
    Dim Tbl As Table, i As Long
    For Each Tbl In ActiveDocument.Tables
      With Tbl
        .Range.ParagraphFormat.KeepWithNext = False
        For i = 1 To .Rows.Count
          With .Rows(i)
            If .HeadingFormat = True Then
              .Range.ParagraphFormat.KeepWithNext = True
            Else
              Exit For
            End If
          End With
        Next
      End With
    Next
    End Sub
    If the tables only have a single heading row, you could instead use:
    Sub ClearKeepWNext()
    Dim Tbl As Table
    For Each Tbl In ActiveDocument.Tables
      With Tbl
        .Range.ParagraphFormat.KeepWithNext = False
        With .Rows(1)
          If .HeadingFormat = True Then
            .AllowBreakAcrossPages = False
          End If
        End With
      End With
    Next
    End Sub
