Image Viewer skips first photo

Hi please help me I got a small problem. I created a Image Viewer with Macromedia Dreamweaver 8.
The Image Viewer is a slide where you can show Photos.
My problem is when i am scrolling trough my uploaded images, it does not show the first photo again.

Just try to scroll, after the fourth photo you will it wil skip photo 1.
Maybe someone can tell what i should do.

I used tinypic.com to host the photos and sites.google.com to host the generated .swf file.

Skipping first view of a Web Dynpro Application

I have an entrance screen to a WebDynpro Component on which the user has to enter a value for an input field and select one of the processing modes( Create, Delete, Change) for this object. There are some input checks and some data are filled for the second screen when the user fills in the input field and presses one of the buttons on the screen. Now i want to open this functionality with an API to a SAPGUI based application and I would like to skip the first screen when the user gives the value of the input field and the processing mode(Display, Create or Change) on the screen. Is it possible to program a kind of CALL TRANSACTION ... SKIP FIRST SCREEN with WebDynpro applications and navigate to the second screen automatically with triggering the filling of data and checks on first screen with displayigng it?Thanks.

I have some parameters in the at the WD application level. In the WDDOINIT of the view, im using these parameters based on
these values i'm skipping the 1st view and going to 2nd view directly.
In my 1st view, I have a input field and some button with an action to it.
for ex:
i read application parameter into some variable lv_var.
and EXECUTE is the action attached to the button where im firin my plug to second view.
lv_var = wdr_task=>client_window->get_parameter( 'VAR' ).

Bug: All emails containing unique large images show up with the image of the first viewed email

After deleting all messages in my inbox and rebooting my Blackberry,
Various emails arrive in my inbox, each containing a large image.
Whichever email I choose to open, it will show the image that it contains, but after that, every other email I view that contains a large image, displays the image of the first email, and not the actual image in the email that I'm trying to view.
This happens constantly.

I have the same problem. Running Windows 7. This started to happen with in the last two weeks. Even my older e-mails from a year go does the same thing.
Been on tech support twice and have friends of mine over to look it over.
Does not happen on G mail. Happens on my laptop and pc and HTC verizon phone.
Yes, they see it the image as fine. No help from them, verizon.
My images will have an X or show up half grey or like there Fios TV some time all blocks.
I been with them for a long time too. Since they were call Bell Atlantic.
I am at work and I use Clear.com wifi.
Feel very disappointed in Verizon.

Flash image viewer, picture scale problem in CS3

Please someone help me. I have built a website 3 years ago, and I still have this problem. In CS3 I added a flash image viewer (slideshow.swf) as a slideshow to show gardens we have made. When you first visit the site and look at the pictures (wich are bigger than the viewer window because of picture quality issues) they don`t shrink to fit into the viewer window, you only end up seeing a fraction of them. But when they download and you go back to see them again a second later, they become the right size. It also swiches to the right size when the loop play gets back to the first pic again.
In the flash element properties I tried the different scale settings, and looked at other settings too but I couldn`t make it work.
I think making the viewer window as large as the pictures, would look odd. Maybe buying on other slideshow program to insert into dreamweaver would work.
If you would like to see the site its: tsugagardens.com , than look in the photo gallery and after the pics download go back with the back button and see the difference in the pics.

How to exit Full screen view to same photo

How can you go back to same photo that you viewed in Full Screen instead of the first photo in the file. Each time I use Full Screen or Compare 2 photos, when I exit, Elements goes back to 1st photo in the file. Then I have to scroll back to where I was viewing photos. There was no problem in Elements 9 on these features.

Which operating system are you using?
In the organizer, if you select an image, switch to full screen and the exit without doing anything, does the selection stay in the same place or move to the start?
Does it matter what type of image it is?
Are you using the Esc key to exit full screen mode?

Editing Polaroid Image Viewer

So, not sure if this is the right section to put this in, so if not I'm sorry!
Anyways, I'm currently making a polaroid image viewer working off of this tutorial: http://active.tutsplus.com/tutorials/design/create-a-nifty-polaroid-photo-viewer-with-flas h-and-photoshop/comment-page-1/#comment-47571. It's my first time working in Flash, so I'm kind-of on the verge of a mental breakdown. Anyways, to my own surprise I've actually gotten it to work and look great. My issue? I'm making the overall project larger and with more images (800 x 600 with seven images). Anyways, when I publish preview the flash document it shows up 800 x 600 but all of the polaroids are squished together as though it's still 600 x 600. Is there a way that I can space them out a bit? Or, even better, is there a way that I can have each of the polaroids sit in a specific spot on the flash document?

My issue is that there are 7 polaroids on the image, not just one, so if I get rid of the random element and give it an exact location then they'll all be in the same spot. Even if there was a way to add padding to each image so that they wouldn't touch that would be amazing. I don't even know if that statment made sense, sorry, I'm so very lost with this project.

Images viewed in elements organiser appear over saturated compared with acr or editor

Hi,
I've been struggling with this for some time now. When veiwing images in elements organiser (10) the images have started appearing more saturated than in either adobe camera raw or photoshop elements editor window. They used to always match. I've tried reseting all the colour presets, I've tried changing every setting I can find in acr and I've resorted to a full re-install of elements (including deleting the presets). None of thise have solved the problem.
I'm pretty sure it is the organiser view which is over saturated rather than acr / photoshop which is washed out as, although mostly quite subtle, sometimes the colours are pushed much too far. (I'm only describing it as saturation as that's how it looks - I couldn't say for sure that it is acutally a saturation setting rather than some other colour setting which is causing the issue).
Every so often organiser updates it's images as I veiw them to match acr but I've not noticed any one reason why that happens - and if I shut organser down and restart it's back to over saturation again.
Any suggestions would be greatfully recieved,

Thanks for getting back to me. You're right - it would seem that if I have every thing set to always optimize for computer screens then everything looks the same. Ideally I wouldn't have that set though - the photos are all taken with adobe RGB colour space and we are more given to big prints than sharing on screen.
This never used to be a problem and I've always previously optimised for printing. The pictures are definitley adobe RGB and checking in canon DPP the raw veiw there is the same as ACR so it is the initial organizer colouring which is at fault. I would rather use optimize for printing as we tend to make big prints from our photos rather than sharing electronic albums. Following the suggestion I've done some more playing with settings and found the following situations:
1) If opening organizer when set to optimize for printing the image opens with the wrong colouring. Changing to optimze for screen and update thumbnial and the colouring corrects. Changing back to optimize for printing update thumbnail and any subsequent changes and the colouring stays correct.
2) If opening organizer when set to optimize for computer screens orgainzer opens showing the right colouring. Chaning to optimize for printing and update thumbnail causes the colouring the change. Changing back to optimize for screen and the image corrects it's self. Changing back to optimize for printing and any subsequent changes and the colouring stays correct.
So in summary the first thumbnail viewing optimized for printing is over satuarated / vivid. Changing colourspace away and back seems to correct the problem.
If the colouring is correct for one photo it will update to be correct for any other images viewed.
If there is a way to make optimized for printing photos display correctly on first opening that would be great.

Image capture and sort photos correctly by date (SOLUTION)

Hello all:
+Image Capture+ has a hard time sorting photos properly unless you use the YEAR-MONTH-DAY short date format.
For example, if you try viewing photos on a memory card and your date format is month/day/year +Image Capture+ will first sort your photos by month, then date and finally year. If you list photos by day/month/year it'll first sort on day, then month, and finally year. Get the picture?
The solution is simple once you see the pattern:
Set your SHORT date format to YEAR-MONTH-DAY in System Preferences -> International -> Formats -> Dates/Customize.
Drag the colourful icons so you have the SHORT date format as 2010/01/05 (or 2010/1/5 if you don't use 0 in front of days or months).
As an aside: I do find it slightly amusing that the most logical date format (there's no ambiguity as to whether someone used mm/dd/yyyy by mistake instead of dd/mm/yyyy) is the one that works "best" with Image Capture.

This had been driving me CRAZY! Thanks so much for posting this.
Now if I could only get my iPhone 4 Camera Roll to list all the pics in date order as well... I restored them from a 3GS back-up and now they're in a jumbled mess.

Aperture Jumping to First Photo in Browser List

My Aperture library photos are organized into Projects and Albums. I use List View to browse my photos. Within each Album, the photos are organized in numerical order from lowest to highest. I’m using the most current version of Aperture 3.
I generally do some photo post-processing using Adjustments in Aperture. However when I use Aperture to edit a photo (Crop for example), Aperture usually (but not always) loses my spot and jumps to the first photo in the Album. This is in the Browser list, though the current photo continues to be displayed in the Viewer. When Aperture jumps to the first photo in the list, it is incredibly annoying and time consuming to get back to where I was in the list.
If I just use a Preset in Adjustments, e.g., Quick Fixes > Auto Enhance (without cropping), Aperture generally maintains where I am in the Album browser list. I can just go to the next photo in the numerical sequence.
This has been going on since Aperture 2.1. I have a lot of volunteer work coming up and I would like Aperture to function properly. Does anyone have an idea how to eliminate this jump to the top of the list bug in Aperture?

Hi. So your workspace is set up in Split View, with the Browser in List View?
How are you activating the adjustment? ("when I use Aperture to edit a photo (Crop for example), Aperture usually (but not always) loses my spot ...") If you continue with the adjustment, is it applied to the Image showing in the Viewer?
Just trying to understand better the behavior you're seeing.

Unable to install plugin Image Viewer

I have Adobe Reader 9.1, Adobe Acrobat (no idea which version), Adobe Photo Delux, Adobe Photoshope Elements 4.0, Adobe Shockwave Player 11.5 and Adobe Flash Player 10 with ActiveX Plugin.
I have downloaded the Image Viewer plugin but am unable to install it. I get an error message that says I need Adobe Reader 5 or later...I think I'm amply covered. Any ideas what the problem might be and how to fix it?
My OS is Windows XP.
My anti-virus is Comodo and it isn't making any alerts about the software.
Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

In what mode, Events, Photos or in an Album, are you when you select View ➙ Sort ➙ By Title?
As a first fix attempt try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder (Snow Leopard and Earlier).
or with Mt. Lion from the User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto/
Data/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder
3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE 1: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.
NOTE 2: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.

Widget: Flash Slideshow (Image Viewer) - Modifications Help!

I created a Flash photo slideshow using Dreamweaver CS3's Insert > Media > Image Viewer. It can be seen here: http://cba.ua.edu/~ckent/ImageViewer/imageviewer.html.
All and only relevant files can be found in the following directory: http://cba.ua.edu/~ckent/Image_Viewer/.
Then, I added a Web Widget to my iWeb '08 site, using the entire code from image_viewer.html as the HTML Snippet (after changing relative links to absolute). Everything works beautifully.
However, I have a few questions for you Flash aficionados out there:
1. Is there a simple way to modify the code such that the images appear at random, instead of in the same order every time? Dreamweaver does not provide this as an option. I can do this easily with PHP, but of course that is not allowed with iWeb, so I'm looking for a quick and non-complex technique to add to/modify the existing code.
2. The images load quickly for normal bandwidth speeds, though with slower connections you sometimes see the loading dialog for a second or two. Is there any preload or other technique I could use to alleviate this?
3. Look at this page: http://cba.ua.edu/~ckent/ImageViewer/image_vieweralt.html. The green is a border that exists due to left-over space where titles and captions were supposed to be presented. Everything has been adjusted such that the minimum amount of space is left within the border. The images are 640x360, but the Flash element has to be set at 654x380 to display the full image size.
Is there anyway to completely collapse the border around the image viewer? I think this is a function of the actual SWF file, so I doubt it is easily possible considering Dreamweaver creates it on the fly.

Sorry to hear you are having a similar problem. Last night I went to the tool bar at the top of iphoto, clicked on "File", then clicked "Browse Backups" in the drop down menu.    I have an external hard drive that is set up to Time Machine.   The Browse Backups opened the iphoto pages in the Time Machine. I selected a date one day ahead of the day I performed the now infamous update, and it showed my iphoto library as it had existed that day.   I then clicked "Restore Library" at the bottom right corner of the Time Machine screen.   Roughly 2 hours later my iphoto was back to normal.   When I opened iphoto there was a message saying I need to upgrade my program to be compatible with the new version of iphoto(version 9.2.1). I clicked "Upgrade" and within seconds it had done whatever upgrading it needed to do.
The only glitch in the restoration was that it restored the library as it appeared last week, so I no longer had photos I had imported this past weekend.   I simply went back to the Browse Backups in the drop down menu, when Time Machine opened I selected the page showing my pictures from this weekend and again said to Restore Library.   Roughly 45 minutes later the library was restored including the most recent photos.
I am now a happy camper.
I don't know if any of this will be of help to you because your email says you are having trouble with photos imported after the upgrade was performed.   Have you had any pop up notices when you first open iphoto, that tell you you need an upgrade to be compatible with the new iphoto?     If so have you clicked "upgrade"?
