IMovie only displays shell no library or projects

Suddenly iMovie does not load up with any menus, library or Projects - any ideas. Do not appear to be able to redownload and repeat install.

from Your Start-up Hard Disk.
Don't - But instead move them back and Hope
iMovie has no function to look elsewhere for the content in them - so if You move them iMovie get lost.
If You need to move Event's or Project's - DO this within the iMovie application and onto a • MAC OS Extended • formatted memory (hard disk) - it is a must.

You can transfer the music purchased from iTunes Store to the computer but not music acquired somewhere else.
Syncing is one way street, computer to iPhone. You have to use 3rd party tool to transfer music not from iTunes Store to the computer.

Sync the music from yur iTujes library on yur coputer to the iPod.
If you have iTunes 11 turn on the Sidebar. Go to iTunes>View and click on Show Sidebar. You can also do a Crtl+S to show the sidebar. The sidebar is where Devices appears. and Control+B to show the Menu bar
To import music into your iTunes library on the computer go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Add items to iTunes and follow the instructions
To sync to your iPod go to iTunes>Help>iTunes Help>Sync your iPod.... and follow the instructions.

Library shows original but will only display clip if double-click to open

I did some editing in PSE, lifting a couple of clips from one of the photos in iPhoto. When I look at the photo in the iPhoto library, it looks fine. However, if I double-click to open it, it will only display one of the lifts - not the original. Where/how can I find the original photo? It seems to me that if it is gone, it would not display in the library. Thank you.

Can you explain what you mean by "clip"?
Every version of iphoto has a Revert to Originals command.
How have you set up editing in Elements?

What's the difference between "Library" and "Projects and Albums?"

In the navigation panel, under Library I click projects and of course see all 16 of my projects displayed to the right.
Now, under the "Projects and Albums" 3 of those project are listed. Only 3. If I try to delete them so as not to have these 3 appearing in both places, I get the warning that photos will be deleted.
So my questions: why is there a library top level and also a "Project and Albums" top level? And why does the latter only show 3 of my 16 projects? Finally, I think my projects should all appear in just one place.
Any ideas?

Spry Menu Text only displays in hover color, doesn't sense browser edge

I have a Spry horizontal menu in a website that is working fairly well in everything except IE6. Firefox, Safari, and IE7 are all fine.
In IE6, random menu items only display in the blue hover color, so they are invisible until you hover over them.
My second problem is that the menu is right-aligned, and the button on the far right has three submenus. I would like the second two submenus to automatically open to the left of the first submenu when opening to the right would cause them to be cut off by the edge of the browser window. How do I do this??

How do I move files from Event Library to Project Library?

How do I move Files from Event Library to Project Library? I tried drop and drag, that didn't work. I am new to Apple. I have always had a windows box b4 this. If anyone can help, please do. Thanks

you're missing the concept of iM .. you don't move 'files' from Event to Project Library.. Events is the big box of all your imported clips; now, from that box of bricks, you drag the clips into all kind of projects.. you can 're-use' the same clip again'n again in many projects.. you can use all clips of all Events in one Project.. or all clips of one Event in two projects.. or..

the concept of Events & Projects, Clips and Libraries is at first glance very different to 'normal' editing apps, but you'll get convenient to it within minutes..

Error -49 opWrErr File already open with write permission
Trash the preference files while application is NOT Running.
Easiest way to find out if this is the problem is by:
• Create a new User-Account
• Log out of Your old one and into this
• Re-try iMovie
If it now works OK - then 99.9% the problem is iMovie pref. file that needs to be trashed.

Display a document library view on a subsite

Hi
I have SharePoint 2013 On-Premise and I would like to display a document library from the top level site in a subsite. This subsite will then be saved as a template and used to create other subsites.
For example,
I have a site called Site 1. In Site 1 there is a document library called doclib1. Site1 also has a subsite called subsiteA.
I would like to display a view from doclib1 in subsiteA. SubsiteA will then be used as a template to create subsiteB, subsiteC etc.
I have tried a few things but these have not worked or I am not doing it correctly. Here is what I have tried
Copied doclib1 code from site1 to subsiteA using SPDesigner. I get the error "List does not exist......"
Used a Content Query Webpart. I get the error "Something went wrong"
Used a Data view web part. The complete page was displayed. I only want the view
Although it looks possible, I do not know how to take this forward. All I need is to display generic documents on each subsite that can be modified from one location.

To get the custom field in the search filter. You need to follow these steps.
Go to the Search schema from the Manage Service Applications -> Search Service Application in Central Administration
Create a Managed property for your field (Category)
Map the crawl property to the Managed property.
Once managed property created, run the full crawl.
Once full crawl executed, you are able to get your filter property in the search filter.

Colunms display in document Library

Hi All,
Is there any way to add a column to a document library which displays " Last Modified By " (metadata) from MS Office files just like the " Author " (metadata) column?
I'm trying to add a column to a document library in SP 2010 which would view the " Last Modified By " from " Related People "
field of MS Office files (Word, Excel, Power Point and Access). The " Modified By " column in SP 2010 only displays the last person's name who uploaded the file and not neccessary modified it.

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to add a column in SharePoint library to store the user who last modified the documents.
Per my knowledge, we cannot add a column to read the Last Modified By of the document by OOB way when uploading the document to SharePoint.
The Modified By column in SharePoint will store the user who last modifies the document after the document is uploaded to the library. When a user modifies the document which has been uploaded to SharePoint, the value of the Modified By column will change
to the user.

Don't display team in a team project based on user permission

Hi all,
I have a problem because I want to disable display and access to a Team Project\Team in WebAccess.
My organization for a team project in my collection:
Team project Customer
--> Customer dev team (default team)
--> Customer consulting team
--> Customer Support team
Each team have an area.
"Support team" doesn't have access to see and edit WorkItems in "Customer dev" and "Customer Consulting" areas, it's ok but I want that Support team member never have access to the "Customer dev team" and "Customer
consulting team"
I log in as a Support team member, Security works well for workitems but when i go to "Browse all", the popup "Browse Server" display all teams under team project name. It's a problem for me.
Do you already see this security problem ?
Is this possible to do this in TFS 2013 (Update 4) ?

I do this test with two users : Me and ISupport (ISupport is a local account on TFS Server because I don't have permission to add user to AD for my test)
Team Project Customer teams :
--> Support Team users:
- ISupport
--> Customer dev team :
- Me
--> Consulting dev team
- Me
ISupport in only include in Team Project Customer\Support Team
If I log in as ISupport user, I see all teams in Team Project Customer List in Browse Server popup.
I always have an access to Customer dev team and Customer consulting team home page.
(I can't create a bug because workitem security is set on Area permission)
If I just remove ISupport user from Team Project Customer\Support Team, I can't see the Team project Customer in Browse server pop up, it's ok.
How I can set permission to only limit ISuppport user to access Support team ?

CR Database Fields doesn't display classes from a referenced project

I created a website and a class library project. The website have a reference to a class library.
I added a new Crystal Report item to the website (CrystalReport.rpt), and on the Database Expert screen, in the Database Fields section I need to select fields that are members of classes in the class library (referenced project). Only the website classes appear in the list.
Is there a way to do this?

you need to verify the database to pull in the new fields

Images displaying differently in Library view to Develop - also affecting Exports

I've run in to a strange problem since the 4.1 upgrade.
When displayed in the Library view, images are not appearing correctly. In my case, there is a huge amount more noise in the Library view compared to the Develop view. This is also affecting Exports.
I have been unable to find any answers online, and only found one other case of this reported via a You Tube video.
Any ideas?!

I am assuming you have a correctly calibrated monitor calibrated using a hardware calibrator. Lightroom sometimes shows the aforementioned problems with canned monitor profiles on windows machines. Now that out of the way:
I am also having this problem - the library view is closer to the printer output - very frustrating! In dev mode the image is lighter - sometimes appears to be too hot, but in library and during print it is just right. This was not a problem in 3 - what's the fix?
Have you tried seeing what happens when you soft proof for the paper profile in the Develop module?
It seem the fit views do not match up...the confusion comes in that it seems the fill views sometimes do, and sometimes do not match. when the images appear different, I've the sense in dev the images are brighter and hotter.
This can happen if your image is very noisy or has a lot of high frequency detail. The sharpening preview in fit view that is applied in Develop tends to brighten images with lots of noise or detail. It also happens when you are applying a lot of color noise reduction and have a lot of colored detail. SInce Lightroom cannot really show you the result of this correctly but for when looking at 1:1, this results in the Fit preview showing more color saturation than there really is.

Only portion of iTunes library visible on AppleTV via HomeShare

Using up to date versions of iTunes for Windows (running on Windows 8.1 64 bit), Airport Time Capsule, and current Apple TV. Even though Apple TV can connect to Media Library via Home Sharing, only portion of my library is displayed. I have restarted the Apple TV, Router, Modem, and Computer, nothing seems to force the library to be refreshed with the missing content, though the items that are listed play fine. Also tried logging out of and back into home sharing but no joy. Is there a firewall setting that I am missing, not sure what the problem is since it was working a couple of weeks ago, thank you in advance for reading this.

Hi all, sorry, but I seemed to have figured out my own problem. The missing files somehow got recategorized as home videos and music so they naturally were not showing in the TV Shows and Movies Section. Sorry for any inconvenience, take care all.
