Implement PO without Inventory & HRMS Module.

Hi,
We are implementing PO, FA & AP as part of P2P impelementation for Bank (v 11.5.10). Can you please let me know if there are any specific things to keep in mind considering there is no plan to implement HRMS & Inventory module in near future.
Also is there any Banking Specific tips for implementing these modules?

When you implement Purchasing, the Inventory module gets installed in a shared mode.
That shared mode will allow you to do receipts but the POs have to be "Expense" POs.
That is the destination on the PO distribution cannot be Inventory.
This ensures that you can do a 3-way match but you cannot increment your on-hand balances.

Yes, you can implement the credit management without SD module.
So you cna check the credit limit againest the open exposure consisting of open AR due.

We are creating custom interface for deducting some mismatch sales amount from respective employee's salary in HRMS module.
So what are the interface table or API I have to use for employee’s salary detection process?
I’m very new to HRMS module….

Review with the functional implementation team how will be this deduction setup to identify what information you'll need to upload. You'll need to use Batch Element Entry (BEE) interface for it. As mentioned, review iRep as well as HRMS implementatio guide for more detailed information.

HU without inventory management and message L3778 in storage type 999

Hi experts,
Need suggestion on the process to add inventory of an HU with status 'HU without inventory Management'. This issue has occurred out of the below scenario:
1. our warehouse is HU & WM managed.
2. We have a transfer order for a delivery document requesting to pick up 100 cases of MAT1 which is assigned to HU1.
3. While confirming the transfer order user has confirmed difference for the full quantity of 100 because the SU/HU was not found in the bin.
4. The system has set the status of HU as 'HU without inventory Management'. The HU is empty.
5. system has moved the stock from the bin to difference storage type 999.
Now user has found the stock for this HU and he wants to post the stock back into the bin. system does not allow to move the stock back to bin using LT01 as we get error message 'L3 778'.
What will be the best practice to get the stock back into the bin and post the stock into the same old HU.
Is there a process wherein we can post this stock to another bin and repack into the old HU?

Thanks Manish on the hint. I was able to transfer stock to partner location and then bring back to original Storage type/Bin. Below steps was used to fixed the issue:
1. Initiate a transfer of stock from WM/HU Sloc where the IM stock resides into Sloc 9099. An outbound delivery is created during this process.
2. Create a transfer order with reference to delivery and pick the stock from 999 storage type.
3. Create a Pick HU using LH01 and assign the HU on the pallet to the transfer order.
4. Confirm the transfer order using LT12.
5. Perform PGI for the delivery.
6. Use HUMO to display the HU and then you can transfer the stock back to WM/HU location using the storage location transfer option available on the HUMO screen(EDIT à change HU posting à Storage location)
7. Perform Bin to bin transfer to move the SU from 921 storage type to putaway the HU/SU back to the destined Storage type/Bin.

Handling unit without inventory management

Hi Experts,
In our scenario, we have Goods reciept from production into Storage location 1000 which is IM managed, Later the stocks are transfer posted into storgae location 1100 which is HU/WM managed. Now in 1100 i have found HU's which have been created with status 'Handling unit without Inventory management'.
Can someone explain to me what does it mean when a HU gets created with this status? under which scenario does the system create the HU with this status?
Also when this HU is scanned for putaway the system gives error message Handling unit does not exist in SAP. Can someone let me know the resolution or the root cause for this issue.

The above mentioned status is when a Handling Unit created, but the Inventory management is not yet posted for the content materials of the HU
I can give an example: Created a Inbound Delivery for material XXX. Then a HU is created in Packing screen, but the PGR is not yet done. At this stage, HU has the same status

If the GR/GI is reported for HU contents, then the HU status will change. With you case, a Handling Unit is just created, but no further tansaction like, packing, GI or GR is done.

Remotely installing the Inventory Only Module

Version 11.3
I want to install the inventory only module to multiple windows devices. The only documentation I can find states you have to download the agent and install at the windows device. https://www.novell.com/documentation...deployment.pdf. Is there a way to install this module using the ZENworks console? I can't seem to find it. Deployment task is only set to to install the ZENworks Adaptive Agent.

I also like to point out that the Discovery tool is not designed to be
the only way or even necessarily the main way of pushing agents.
Login Scripts, AD Scripts, or any other management tool can push the
agents (If you don't have any management tools, you should be
considering the full product.)
Even a Scripted PSEXEC would work for you, but only in theory.
The issue is that by default, Non-Domain Joined PCs will not permit
remote software installation unless you perform quite a bit of manual
configuration. So if your PCs are not in a domain and you have no
management tools, you will need to visit the PC to manually configure it
to allow a remote push at a future time that you hope the PC may be
powered on and not in use. So if you are going to do all that work, it
would only make sense to install the agent while you are there at that time.
In my mind, the Discovery and Deployment tool is best for discovering
straggler devices missing the agent and less at deploying since there
are so many limitations due to the very nature of basic default Windows
security.
The best bet in my mind is to try and figure out a way to use your
current management methods, even if they are as simple as logon scripts,
to push/pull down the agent instead of trying to remotely access the PC
in the hopes it is on, since that method has a whole series of hurdles
that are tough to overcome.

Oracle Applications does not support deinstalling products once it is installed and licensed. So, there is no supported way to deintall HRMS.

You first need to understand the requirement of the business first because if there are 600 reports in legacy system you no need to presume that you need to develop 600 coz of the multidimensional report of BI you can club so many requirements in to one report. And you have to decide, up to what extent the Business content reports would be helpful. If the BC report meets the requirement it is as simple as that to activate and use it. But if the BC report wont meet the business requirement then you need to estimate the efforts to develop. Here you need to keep in mind that the standard extractors would be fine or need to enhance or need to go for Generic extraction. And also the HCM reports are big tricky and lot of data issues would rise. By considering all this you need to plan the days of work to complete all the reports.

Yes, it is possible to run PY without TM. But workschedule must be filled and choose time management status 7 - without Payroll Integration.

You don't need to do any of this. The servlet container starts its own threads, and they call the servlet methods as required. All you have to do is syncrhonize your servlet internally as required to protect anything that needs protecting from multiple threads.

I have been asked to gain the functional knowledge,flow of forms and the tables used in the backend. I am browsing for this for a long time but not getting a good site. Any suggestion would be helpful.
