Implementing Response Id in CRM 5.0

Hi Friends,
Can you please help me with the steps to implement the RESPONSE ID in CRM 5.0
thanks.

Hello Daniela,
You can refer to below help link for response tracking.
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm70/helpdata/EN/60/7fc76a85cb4f1ea2a4f8ddc89c406e/frameset.htm
However if you asking how to insert, then its just like other attributes that you include into mail forms.
It will generate a GUID when you send the personalized mail form.
If you are looking for technical piece of it.
In the LCRM_IM_FORM_BUILDERF51
FORM add_tracking_symbol_btf
`<a href=" %SAP_HIDDEN_CRMMAIL-TRACKING_GUID"></a>`
This adds the Tracking Placeholder during design time.
During run time, this is been replaced by the MIG. This happens in the
Function Module:
CRM_IM_MAIL_BUILDER:
      PERFORM fill_variables
        TABLES   lt_current_text
                 it_ssffields
                 lt_text_blocks
                 lt_addr
                 lt_crmtable
                 it_crmtables
         USING   lv_mig_text
                 iv_langu
                 iv_nation
                 iv_basis_fm_exist
                 ls_header
                 iv_pers_b2b.
Hope this information helps you to proceed further. .
Hope this helps.

  • Looking for best approach to implement all ERP and CRM Analytics

    There is a scope to implement all the ERP Analytics (HR, Finance, SCM, Procurement & Spend, Project) and CRM Analytics (Sales, service, Marketing, Contact Center, Price, Loyalty ). Just want to know the best approach for impelmentation of both ERP and CRM analytics
    1- Work with two separate containers with separate execution plan for ERP and CRM
    2- Work with one container with one execution plan for both ERP and CRM
    3- Work with one container with separate execution plans for both ERP and CRM
    Also, Please let me know if there any standard document to achieve both the implementations simultaneously.
    Thanks!

    Answer, as always, is "it depends". Here is a list of things to consider w the 3 approaches you mentioned:
    1- Work with two separate containers with separate execution plan for ERP and CRM
    This is a good approach if you plan on a different frequency of ETL loads for each container or different timings. As long as the targets are the same and you run INCREMENTAL loads from both containers, then the refresh dates will be updated. This is usually a good idea if your ERP and CRM users have different timing and load requirements and do not want to "interfere" w each other. You will also have DATASOURCE NUM ID uniquely defined for each system so the data will be segregated. By default, each source system will have its own container
    2- Work with one container with one execution plan for both ERP and CRM
    This is good if you are ok w the same exact load time for both. Its a simple approach and all tables will be loaded at the same time to avoid any confusion.
    3- Work with one container with separate execution plans for both ERP and CRM
    Not sure what the advantage of this option versus keeping them in separate containers (like Option 1).
    I would also review the secion in the DAC guide for "MultiSource Execution Plans"
    if helpful, pls mark correct

  • SAP crm implementation business scenario for crm  marketing project

    Dear guru's

    hi
    well talking about the implementation project in CRM
    let us assume we are implementing it in BANKING industry
    here the requirement is in improvement in the field processing and all the effeciency of the sales or feet on street
    so we implement the CRM marketing with CIC
    what it will do that we start with first the readiness document that what all are the requirement of the bank and how the company can cope it with the help of CRM
    then we prepare the BLUEPRINT to state that the data to be processed will be strucutured in CRM in how many phases or the timely schedule of the roll over of CRM in bank
    next up we start with the configuration ,like we have to start campaigns and generate leads for the banks which may get converted into the opportunities
    so have to do all the configuration of CRM according to the requirements being given
    one thin g i forgot which is very imp is that we do requirement gathering,its pretty imp part of entire process
    after getting these only we can do whatever we want with CRm
    so after that we realise the configuration in realisation phase then we do those UATs and SITs
    this way we phase out the CRM in any sector
    just a gist of everything
    hope i cleared some air
    best regards

  • How can i implement sap note on crm

    can anyone please tell me how to apply sap note for CRM?

    HI Thomas,
    1. Releases: A note can be modified in case more changes can be included. In that case, a new 'release' of the note will be created. In snote, you can also find the function 'downlaod the latest version'. This means snote will check the current release in OSS can download it.
    2. Reference support pacakge: This is the support pcakge where the change in this OSS note is included. Any SP level equal or higher than that will make the note 'can not be implemented';
    3. Correction Instructions: One note can have one or multiple correction instruction. Usualy they're for different releases (620, 640, 700 etc.). But sometimes the CIs are for the same release and they will be implemented into the system sequentially when the note is being implemented.
    Normally, when you try to implement a note in SNOTE, go to the note browser, the note then has the 'implementation status'. ' can be implemented' means the note have the valid support pcakge level. 'cannot be implmented' means the note is already included the the support packages. "Not relevant' means the note changes a component which doesn't exist in the system.

  • EP Implementation with two different CRM client on same EP environment

    Hi All,
    I have the following scenario
    We want to use same EP instance for connecting to two different clients in ECC 6.0 system (say Client 100 and 200 ).
    But we also want to use Single Sign On.
    Then my problem is
    1. When I am logging on to EP through URL it should directly Log on to master client (say Client 100) setup during the single sigh on.
    2. But then if another user wants to connect to Client 200 how he will do that ?
    Is connecting two different client from same system from Single EP instance is possible ?
    Pls help me on that. It's very urgent.
    Thanks and warm regards
    Purnendu

    Purnendu: as I mentioned in your duplicate thread. It is certainly possible to connect two different client of the same system - but you have to have two different iView and two different system objects from them. You can have a single role and two iVIews inside that one connecting to 100 & another to 200 client respectively.

  • Crm isa 2007 implementation required steps?

    Hi All,
    We are working on a new implementation of crm 2007 isa and are at blue printing stage.
    Can any one please let me know how to proceed on a new implementation and what are the things to be taken care?
    What are all the things to be taken care by an isa technical consultant ..like shop admin, xcm...etc
    I would really appreciate the response.
    Thanks,
    Narendra

    Hi Narendra,
    I think what you're looking for is C14 - Internet Sales. This is the right place to start off when configuring your web shop for Sales.
    http://help.sap.com/bp_crmv340/crm_de/BBLibrary/Documentation/C14_BB_ConfigGuide_EN_US.doc
    Further, as per your earlier concern, the Internet Sales Architecture (ISA) Technical Consultant is someone who is involved in hands on coding on the ISA API built on Struts. It is SAP's API built on Java Struts framework. So you need to be coding in Java in case you intend to be Technical consultant for ISA.
    Apart from these you must also be familiar with tools such as Config Tool, SAP J2EE Visual Administrator, SAP NetWeaver  Administrator and the SAP NetWeaver  Developer Infrastructure (NWDI), which includes the development environment (IDE) for ISA, the SAP NetWeaver  Developer Studio (NWDS).
    The functional consultant involves himself in the activities of XCM Configurations and Base Customizing for the Internet Sales Scenario.
    In simpler terms, an Internet Sales implementation would involve:
    SAP CRM Base + ABAP Developments + Java Base + Java Developments + R3 integration + R3 base
    The Basis team looks at administration of SAP ABAP and Java layers, ABAP & JAVA technical developments are handled by technical consultants in the respective areas, Middleware consultant is required in case you have an integration with SAP ERP (ECC). Whatever is left is the functional consultants role, which is Base Customizing for CRM (Business Partner, Transaction type etc.,), Java Base (XCM, Shopadmin etc.,) and R3 base (SD, MM, FI/CO etc.). Depending on the organizations size, project constraints etc., you may have specialized consultants for each or simply an all-rounder.
    Further, considering the project involves the Internet, you have other areas which are external to SAP such as Network Architecture - Load Balancer, Dispatcher, Application Accelerator, Server Hosting etc., Security - SSL Certification, Antivirus etc., and Payment Gateway integration. These are generally not given much importance, but are crucial in the end to end execution of an Internet Sales project.
    I hope I have answered most of your doubts.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Slow performance after implementing TREX in CRM

    Hi All,
    We have recently implemented TREX in our CRM 7.0 system and from that time we are getting performance issue in two things:
    u2022Saving a New Contact. > Previously it use to take 15 seconds to 1 minute, but now itu2019s taking minimum of 2minutes to 5min maximum.
    u2022Creating Marketing Attributes in a New Contact > Itu2019s taking lot of time. As previously we use to get the option in seconds after selecting the category under > Attribute Set or Attribute Field to get the >u201CValueu201D.
    As we are facing this issue after TREX implementation so we expect that because of TREX we are facing the issue.
    Please suggest root cause of this error and how can we resolve it , Is there any paramter we need to tune after TREX to make the system working fine or any OSS note which contains information for parameter tuning after TREX implementation.
    Please suggest.
    Shivam

    Hi Shivam,
    This is an old post, just wondering how you solve this issue? Do you have any documentation?
    Thank you.

  • CRM Interaction Record -- Mutilevel Categorization

    Hi All -
    What would be a possible use for implementing Multilevel Categorization for CRM Interaction Records if we are not implementing ERMS or CRM Service?  Is it better reporting?
    All available documentation point to either better functioning of ERMS (mail routing, auto response)  or CRM Service (proposing templates, knowledge search)
    Regards,
    Pradhip.S

    Hi,
    It would depend of what do you want to achieve:
    -Interaction Record should be used for "Interaction Center WebClient" Business Role as the main transaction type to register a contact/interaction with a customer for every channel (telephone/fax/email/face-to-face/chat, etc). Therefore the structure is simple: Description, note, a reason, a status and a priority.
    -With a Service Request you are using a more structured transaction that will offer extra fields that are not available for a Interaction Record, such as:
    -Two Multilevel Categorisation areas, usually for "Reason" (Subject) and for "Result" (Reason), that could be renamed to any requirement.
    -Extra fields for processing such as Impact, Recommended Priority.
    -Relationship with extra objects such as Related Problems, Related Request for Changes, Related Knowledge Article.
    Additional a service transaction such as service request would offer:
    -Find Related Problems.
    -Find Related Knowledge Articles
    -Autocomplete (to find automatically employee responsible/service team).
    So basically you go option 1 or 2 depending of your requirement. If they are simple, you will have to configure less using an Activity (Interaction Record) rather than using a Service Request and then you would have to hide all fields that are not required.

    Lyda

  • Sign Out in IC Agent Role CRM 6.O

    Hi All,
    I am implementing CIC in SAP CRM 6.O. The standard is not having the sign out option in IC Agent Role , rather the session will end if we close the window. But ou client is willing to have the same in 6.O as all other Bussiness Roles is having Sign out option. Can any body suggest how to activate or include the signout option.
    Regards,
    Sarangamath

    Hello
    You cannot activate the "logoff" option in CRM6.0. This is only available as of CRM7.0.
    Anyway, when you close the browser window, automatic logoff takes place. This is the reason why the logoff button is not available.

  • Add ECC Custom Fields in CRM Web UI ERP Order item

    hi all,
    i have to Add ECC Custom Fields in CRM Web UI ERP Order item .
    I have :
    -  add the field on Web UI Screen.
    -  add the field on structure  TDS_item_COMV  and  TDS_item_COMC in ecc
    -  insert record for field on LORD_MAPPING table
    -  implemented badi BADI_LORD_DO_PA BADI_LORD_GET_INPUT_MODE.
    -  implemented method GET_I_S_STRUCT on crm with  :
    CASE COMPONENT.
        WHEN 'ZZSPOND'.
          RV_DISABLED = ABAP_False.
    endcase.
    - on method  do_prepare_output i have change value of fields with code :
    lr_loop = typed_context->erpadmini->collection_wrapper->get_first( ).
    WHILE lr_loop IS BOUND.
    posnr = lr_loop->get_property_as_string( iv_attr_name = 'POSNR' ).
    Does the current item has to be set for "Sponda Idraulica"?
    READ TABLE Z5CL_GSA_TOOL0001=>GT_ITEMS_SPOND INTO ls_spond
                                  WITH KEY posnr = posnr.
    IF sy-subrc = 0.
    lr_loop->set_property_as_string( iv_attr_name = 'ZZSPOND' iv_value = 'X' ).
    DATA : V_X TYPE STRING.
    V_X = lr_loop->get_property_as_string( iv_attr_name = 'ZZSPOND' ).
    ENDIF.
    lr_loop = typed_context->erpadmini->collection_wrapper->get_next( ).
    ENDWHILE.
    I can't change the field  value  because it is "not changeble"  .
    Can you help me ?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Celi,
    I have created some fields at header level of ERP Order, and the user is available to change them, replicating the information to SAP ECC (using interface LORD II).
    All sales item information is treated using RFC ERP_LORD_GET_ITEM_MULTI, available in SAP ECC.
    Please check the following point:
    If those structures below were expanded with your custom fields:
    SAP CRM:
    CRMST_L2_ITEM_COMV
    CRMST_L2_ITEM_COMC
    CRMTT_ADMINI_ERPIL
    CRMTT_ADMINI_I_ERPIL
    SAP ECC:
    TDS_RFC_ITEM_COMV
    TDS_RFC_ITEM_COMC
    Please check if for your scenario is necessary to implement the enhancement BADI_LORD_DO_PAI method ADD_SUPPLY_LIST. The code below works for header level.
      DATA: ls_supply TYPE tds_field_supply.
      IF iv_object_id EQ 'HEAD'.
        IF iv_module EQ 'VBAK_BEARBEITEN'.
          ls_supply-field = 'ZZCCINS'.
          APPEND ls_supply TO ct_supply.
          ls_supply-field = 'ZZCCNUM'.
          APPEND ls_supply TO ct_supply.
          ls_supply-field = 'ZZCCNAME'.
          APPEND ls_supply TO ct_supply.
          ls_supply-field = 'ZZAUNUM'.
          APPEND ls_supply TO ct_supply.
        ENDIF.
      ENDIF.
    I hope it helps!
    Kind Regards!

  • CVI in CRM 7.0 and ECC 6.0 IS-A VMS

    Hi experts
    I'm seeking for techinical advise on solution for CVI (Customer-Vendor Integration) in the given landscape.
    Refering to an excellent article from Mitchell Faiman (SAP) in CRM Expert and SAP help for CRM 6.0, we've done all the needfuls to set up but still has some issues.
    We're implementing a landscape with CRM 7.0, ECC 6.0 EhP4, NW EhP1, and IS-A-VMS (Vehicle Managmeent System). One of the key requirements is keeping BP master data clean and consistent across the landscape, including having the same ID, and having a mechanism to keep any changes reflected across the chain regardless of the change being made in CRM or ECC. In VMS, there is a requirement to have end-customer created as BP (role VLC001), as well as being a customer (KNA1) for SD Sales transaction and vendor (LFA1) for kickback payment in ECC. This is where we thought of CVI as the ideal solution. The ideal flow for us would be to have BP created in CRM (role CRM000), then via MW object BUPA_MAIN creates BP in ECC (hoping to find a way to default the role to VLC001 here as well, but that's another issue), and then with CVI, consequently creates a customer and vendor record, and extend ECC-BP with the FLCU00/FLCU01/FLVN00/FLVN01 in the process. (Flow diagram: CRM-BP -> ECC-BP -> ECC-KNA1 & ECC-LFA1)
    Once I've gone through the setup as mentioned in the article and SAP Help, I then proceeded to create BP in CRM only to find an error in the outbound queue in CRM reporting a syntax error in ECC program SAPLSFP_CRM. It turns out that there is a missing structure in ECC table which has not been activated (Actual error message is "The data object ES_FKKVKP does not have a component called ZAHKOND_SC" . We found out that this structure is related to FI-CAX (that explains the use of function module FSL_BUPA_MAIN_INBOUND instead of COM_BUPA_MAIN_INBOUND in Faiman's article).
    The problem is, we simply cannot activate FI-CAX as that is considered another IS solution/business function, and according to SAP notes, only one IS solution can be activated per environment (we already have IS-A-VMS). That's a brick wall for us, and I wonder if there is anything we can do to overcome this.
    Obviously I have created an OSS note to SAP and has been in touch with the support consultant, who have advised on the restriction as mentioned, but no further solution is recommended just yet.
    A few questions here:
    1) Can you validate our understanding of the CVI concept and the flow?
    2) Will the slight change to the flow to rather create BP in ECC, then via CVI create KNA1 and LFA1, and consequently via MW object CUSTOMER_MAIN create BP in CRM work? If not, any solution to this at all?
    I would appreciate your valuable feedback and a proper solution that solves our issue will be awarded with points (as always).
    Thank you

    Just an update.
    SAP got back to me after a few dialogue to confirm that the function i was intending to use (CVI via FSL) is part of FI-CA, and is considered another IS function. However, since we already have IS-A installed (switched ON), it is not possible to activate such function in the same instance as the general rule from SAP is that no more than one IS is activated in one SAP instance.
    I did not quite understand this restriction though, and wondering how automotive company who sells cars as well as act as a financial leasing company would live within the SAP environment.
    We've resorted to enhancement solution (one-way activation), which is only half a solution we expect CVI & CRM MW should be able to offer.
    Thread closed.

  • Standard (ABAP coding) delivery for SES in CRM 2007?

    Hello,
    I found the Netweaver functionality "Search Engine Service (SES)" on help.sap.com.
    This function sounds great. Documents on SDN (like "https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/21404ae5-0601-0010-0395-a6d917099f1a" and "https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/a751a1ec-0a01-0010-f0ba-89e4c5cd0261") tell that this functionality is part of Netweaver ABAP and that there're already ready-to-use implementations for business objects in SAP ERP.
    However, we're using CRM and want to extend the search functionalities using SES. I was able to create an index for business object BUS1006 (business partner) and insert some data, search for it, and so on. However, it was necessary to do all the data selection manually.
    I found enhancement spot COM_PRODUCT_SE which seems to deal with the product search using SES. I tried with business object BUS1006 where enhancement spot HRHAP00_SES seems to be used - however with no (sample) implementation. When creating/updating an index using report COM_SE_DISPATCHER, the methods of the corresponding BADI implementation are called to retrieve object IDs, attribute names, attribute values and so on. As described before, this seems to be not delivered by SAP standard, thus, we have to do the coding in methods IF_HAP_SES_BUSOBJ_AESGET_ATTRIBUTE_NAME_LIST, IF_HAP_SES_BUSOBJ_AESGET_ATTRIBUTE_VALUES, IF_HAP_SES_BUSOBJ_AES~GET_OBJECT_ID_LIST on ourselves?
    So my question is: Is the ready-to-use implementation of SES for CRM business objects already contained (and I didn't find it) or will it be part of further shipments?
    Many thanks & regards
    Wolfgang

    Hi Wolfgang,
    unfortunately, CRM did not include the SES methods in all their objects.
    CRM will focus on enabling their objects on "Embedded Search", which is basically "the next version of SES" that will beavailable for Business Suite 2008 applications. This will then also enable CRM content to be searched through SAP NetWeaver Enterprise Search.
    Of course you can - in the meantime - attempt your own implementation of SES for CRM objects. Unfortunately, I am not the right guy to further help with coding details for that.

  • CRM 7. How to make mandatory the BP Roles on CRM Web User Interface.

    Dear CRM Gurus,
      The requirement in our project is to have as mandatory at least one BP Role (except the default role of BP). Is there any way to implement or configure the CRM system to display an error message when a user tries to save a BP from WEB UI without having maintained the BP Role ?
    Thanks in advanced, John

    Hi Jhon,
    Before raising the error message as Garcia suggested check the collection of bp_roles.. if no roles maintain then raise the message.
    you can raise the message in eh_onsave event of BP_HEAD/BPHEADOverview.
    Sample code to check the collection of bp roles..
    DATA: lv_collection TYPE REF TO if_bol_bo_col,
                lr_bp                TYPE REF TO cl_crm_bol_entity.
      lr_bp ?= me->typed_context->builheader->collection_wrapper->get_current( ).
      CHECK lr_bp IS BOUND.
    TRY.
          lv_collection = lr_bp->get_related_entities(
                 iv_relation_name = 'BuilRolesRel' ).
    *     delete difftype-dependent roles (not maintainable/ displayed
    *     in standard)
          cl_crm_uiu_bp_roles_service=>filter_difftype_dependent(
            CHANGING cr_collection = lv_collection ).
    *     delete lifecycle stages (which are roles as well) from coll
    *     of "normal" roles
          cl_bp_accountlifecycle_service=>filter_roles_exclusive_stage(
            CHANGING cr_collection = lv_collection ).
