Import Date Go to User Tablespace

i create one tablespace for one user and grant this tablespace or put default tablespace to user .but when import tables go directly in USERS tablespace. Please Advice Me How Make Solution.
Ahmed.

Where were the tables on the source database created. If they were created in tablespace users, then that is where they will be created on the target system. Just because you changed the default tablespace on the target database doesn't mean that is where the tables will be loaded.
If you want to move them to a different tablespace I think you need to make sure the old tablespace is not there.
If you use datapump, you can use the remap_tablespace parameter
remap_tablespace=old_tablespace:new_tablespace
This is not available on exp/imp.

  • Import data and ındexes diffrent tablespace

    Assume that
    I have tablespaces "user_data" and "index_data".
    If I export the entıre schema

    import it into another database, all the data and index are stored in one tablespace. But they are in diffrent tablespaces in the source.
    What should I do to ımport ındexes to diffrent tablespace?
    Oracle 10g

    In Import, there's an parameter "indexfile".
    imp file=abc.dmp show=y indexfile=abc.sql fully=y
    will generate a sql file with metadata definition.i.e. Table creation scripts/index creation scripts.
    modify the script and change the tablespace names for the indexes and execute them.

    imp userid=/user/passwd show=y indexfile=import.sql indexes=n full=y

    Edit the import.sql and import2.sql to modify the tables' tablespace and indexes tablespace.
    execute import.sql the script in the database. this will create the tables in their respective tablespace.
    imp userid=/user/passwd full=y ignore=y indexes=n constraints=y - to import just the data since the tables have already been created.

  • Import data to User defined table

  • Export and import change document for user master data

    Dear Gurus,
    I have two queries on change document for user master data:
    1. Are there any approaches to export and import change document for user master data?
    We often do system copy from PRD to QAS for UAT and troubleshooting. Before system copy we export the user master data from QAS and then import after the copy process. We would like to keep the change document for user master data on QAS from being refreshed from PRD for security reason.
    2. Change document for Role change in QAS
    When the role is created or modified in DEV and then transported to QAS, the role change document doen't include this change log. The role change document in QAS only records those role changes directly made in QAS.
    Could you advise this is by SAP design or are there any approaches to record this transported role change  in the role change document in QAS?
    Thanks
    YBY

    1. Perhaps you want to consider a system copy to a "virtual system" for UAT?
    2. Changes in QAS (as with PROD as well) will give you the delta. They should ideally be clean... You need to check the source system.
    Another option is to generate the profiles in the target system. But for that your config has to be sqeaky clean and in sync, including very well maintained and sync'ed Su24 data.
    Cheers,
    Julius

  • Is it possible to create a form with Livecycle that a user in Adobe Reader can import data into?

    I made a form, then found out that much of the data that needs to be filled out by our data entry personnel (in Adobe Reader) already exists in an Excel file. Is there a way I can set up this form so that my coworkers can import specific records from the Excel file and save themselves time?
    I noticed that when I open the Reader-Enabled version of the file that the "Import Data" command under "Extensions" is dimmed out. So even if I could successfully create an XML file it looks like we couldn't import, even to a Reader-Enabled PDF form. Why is that?

  • How can I import schema to a different tablespace in a new database?

    Hi,
    I want to transport a schema "abc", which is on 'USERS" tablespace in the old database, to a new database using Data Pump. But on the new server, I want it on a different tablespace, say "TEST". How can I do that? I tried the following but it does not work:
    1. Create a user "abc" on new database, assign "TEST" as its default tablespace;
    2. use impdp to import the dmp file;
    I found that on the new server, the imported tables are still on the "USERS" tablespace.
    Can anyone tell me how to do it? thanks a lot.

    Use the REMAP_TABLESPACE option:
    REMAP_TABLESPACE = source_tablespace:target_tablespace

    CORE 9.2.0.6.0 Production
    TNS for Solaris: Version 9.2.0.6.0 - Production

    and I get the following error:
    ORA-01552: cannot use system rollback segment for non-system tablespace
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Also when I upgraded my database I received the following error message but continued without fixing:
    Warnings Ignored: Your database is using US7ASCII as the NCHAR type. In Oracle9i, the NCHAR datatypes (NCHAR, NVARCHAR2, and NCLOB) are limited to the Unicode character set encoding (UTF8 AND AL16UTF16) only. Refer to the Oracle 9i Database Upgrade Guide to change NCHAR columns in user tables to one of the supported types.
    Can I fix this via an sql statement or what?

    Hi, i think that the problem is around the rollback segments. The solution is bring other rollback segments ONLINE state, if not exist others rollbackup, then you need create the other rollback segments and bring online state.
    If you need more information, you will must see the next DOC-ID on Metalink site,

  • How to drop users tablespace

    Hey to all
         I want to drop USER tablespace wid data file but as we know many oracle users Scott OE data reside in users. How can I protect their data. One method which I read on net to export and import once again is quite cumbersome I run this query
    SELECT
    owner
    , segment_name
    , segment_type
    FROM
    dba_segments
    WHERE
    tablespace_name='USERS'
    it give me two user OE and SCOTT. How can I protect their data before drop the user tablespace

    Hi..
    As you said direct load takes place, then the rows which are inserted are always inserted above the HWM.So the datafile size size kept on increasing.
    i read about segment advisor i run the advisor it shrink the segment but users tablespace size on OS still 200 GB could anyone tell why??You would have run alter table <table_name> shrink space; -- This statement will procede in two steps:
    - The first step makes the segment compact by moving rows further down to free blocks at the beginning of the segment.
    - The second step adjusts the high watermark. For this Oracle needs an exclusive table lock, but for a very short moment only.
    The HWM goes below, and table are now more well organized. This command doesn't resize the datafile at the OS level. So, the datafile sizes will remain the same. One thing which you can do is resize(decrease) the datafile.

  • How to import data from a text file into a table

    Hello,
    I need help with importing data from a .csv file with comma delimiter into a table.
    I've been struggling to figure out how to use the "Import from Files" wizard in Oracle 10g web-base Enterprise Manager.
    I have not been able to find a simple instruction on how to use the Wizard.
    I have looked at the Oracle Database Utilities - Overview of Oracle Data Pump and the Help on the "Import: Files" page.
    Neither one gave me enough instruction to be able to do the import successfully.
    Using the "Import from file" wizard, I created a Directory Object using the Create Directory Object button. I Copied the file from which i needed to import the data into the Operating System Directory i had defined in the Create Directory Object page. I chose "Entire files" for the Import type.
    Step 1 of 4 is the "Import:Re-Mapping" page, I have no idea what i need to do on this page. All i know i am not tying to import data that was in one schema into a different schema and I am not importing data that was in one tablespace into a different tablespace and i am not R-Mapping datafiles either. I am importing data from a csv file.
    For step 2 of 4, "Import:Options" page, I selected the same directory object i had created.
    For step 3 of 4, I entered a job name and a description and selected Start Immediately option.
    What i noticed going through the wizard, the wizard never asked into which table do i want to import the data.
    I submitted the job and I got ORA-31619 invalid dump file error.
    I was sure that the wizard was going to fail when it never asked me into which table do i want to import the data.
    I tried to use the "imp" utility in command-line window.
    After I entered (imp), i was prompted for the username and the password and then the buffer size as soon as i entered the min buffer size I got the following error and the import was terminated:

    Please show me the easiest way to import a text file into a table. How complex could it be to do a simple import into a table using a text file?
    We are testing our application against both an Oracle database and a MSSQLServer 2000 database.
    I was able to import the data into a table in MSSQLServer database and I can say that anybody with no experience could easily do an export/import in MSSQLServer 2000.
    I appreciate if someone could show me how to the import from a file into a table!
    Thanks,
