In a Conversion file, Using Java Script - IF statement with Greater,Less definitions

Hail to All Gurus,
Well, I've been trying to make a conversion file by using if statement of Java script with < , > definitions. unfortunately i got "Evolution error" over and over again.
Actually i want to convert all dates before 2009 as 2008.12. And the dates which is greater than 2009 will be converted as they are (e.g. 2009.01 or 2010.02 etc.).
Code is:

You can write if Statement in transformation not conversion.

I am trying to read a text file using Java Script within the webroot of MII as .HTML file. I have provided the path as below but where I am not able to open the file. Any clue to provide the relative path or any changes required on the below path ?

I tried above code after importing JQuery Library through script Tag. It worked for me . Pls check.
Note : You can place Jquery1.xx.xx.js file in the same folder where you saved this IRPT/HTML file.

Acrobat standard 9.0 error while enabling commets option using Java script object

I'm using the below java script code in my VB 6.0 application for enabling commets options in the PDF file

It is working fine till Acrobat 8.0. Now I'm trying with Acrobat 9.0 standard edition, it is throwing scripting error 'An unhandled Win32 exception occured in Acrobat.exe[308].
Can anyone suggest the way to enable 'comment' options in Acrobat Standard 9.0 using Java Script Object?

I get much the same problem with VB6, Acrobat 9 Pro and WinXP SP3. When I single step the line:
oJSO.Collab.showAnnotToolsWhenNoCollab = True
in debug I go to the error handler for my Sub. Inspecting the VB Err object has Number = -2147417851 and Description = "Automation error
The server threw an exception." I get a Microsoft crash notice about Acrobat a short while later.
I've experimented with the JavaScript debugger in Acrobat and you can execute Collab.showAnnotToolsWhenNoCollab = True and reference the value of Collab.showAnnotToolsWhenNoCollab in the console. The problem appears only when accessing Acrobat Javascript through the Interapplication Communication API.
If anyone can help it would be appreciated. I tried Adobe's Acrobat support and they were no help at all.

Spawn a new PDF using Java Script within LC Designer

I am trying to spawn a new PDF file to be created from an existing PDF using Java Script within the LC designer
I have this example but I can't get it to work

I would like to see if it was possible. I thought it would be easy, as
there is a standard batch processing sequence (Print 1st page of all) using
Java that comes with Acrobat 7. This allows you to print the first page of
a number of files that you select when the sequence is run. Its code is:

To my uninformed mind it seemed logical that the same code, slightly
modified to print all pages, should work from within a form.
Anyway, if there is a way to choose individual files, I would appreciate
that.

We implemented one concept in Flex and now would like to integrate with JavaScript. Earlier we integrated an Applet code but now, we developed the concept in Flex, however, I am unable to integrate the concept in java script.

What version of FlashPro are you using? If you want a self contained app that doesn't load external resources, publish an AIR app, which will work on Windows or OSX. I'm using OSX so I can't really help with .exe projector files, but it looks like the latest version of FlashPro no longer outputs projector files—I think everything is AIR now.
If you really want to go the projector route, I'm guessing Jeffrey Smith's suggestion of finding an older version of Flash Player would be simpler.
So for AIR, set your Publishing target to AIR for Desktop. Then under File>AIR settings:
Output as: Application with runtime embedded
Include files: Add all of your resources—the swf ID generated and it's resource folder
In the Signature tab click New to create a self-signing Certificate (if you were developing commercial software you would need a third party certificate). You can save the certificate anywhere.
When you publish you should find an AIR application file (.app) file in the directory with your .fla

could any one tell me how can I create an Excel file using java. I can create the file using PrintWriter and other IO classes. But how do I insert the data in to different cells and rows.

There are three ways for achiving excel operations using java including excel to xml etc.
1. There is a very effective tool available for this operation is "jexcel". You can find it at http://www.andykhan.com/jexcelapi/index.html
2. Jakarta site has provided a very good tool by name jakarta poifs. one can find at jakarta site.
3. One can develop a very effective tool by combining these above tools togather.
The operations that can be performed are read, write, convert etc for excel. The major attraction of Jexcel is excel to xml conversion.

You have option to read a cell content as html. else you will have to go for SDK. I think you will get better suggestions, if you can explain your requirement in a little detailed manner.

How to print a text file using Java

How can I print a text file using Java without converting the output to an image format. Is there anyway I can send the characters in the text file as it is for a print job? I did get a listing doing this ... but that converted the text to an image format before printing....

Hi I had to write a print api from scratch, and I did not convert the output to image. Go and read up on the following code. I know there is a Tutorial on Sun about the differant sections of the snippet.

I wanted to get the all the values in to a internal excel , so that my calculator can read the values from that. can any one help me on getting values in to internal excel by using java before the executing the web template ?...

I might not be understanding your question completely since you mention WAD and then Excel, but if you are asking how to get the key figure values using Javascript in WAD, you can go to the Dataprovider properties and enable 'Output Result Data'. This will embed an XML element into the HTML output that you can then parse using standard Javascript DOM navigation.
