I have requirement like , if i did not create dimentions drill down in BMM layer at rpd level, is it possible to get drill down from answers. How is it possible?

First this doesn't sound like a requirement but some weird tech decision someone is making without really knowing the impact of doing so. It's almost like asking: "Can I paint my house without using any paint?" Yes you can but it will look very uggly and it will take you much more time.
You need to rephrase your question and tell us what your real requirement is. To do proper drill down in OBIEE you need to define dimensions. If you think you can't do that then explain why. Describe your goal not the step:

Anyone know how to remove Overdrive books from my iphone that have been transferred from my computer? They do not show up on itunes. I see a lot of answers to this question but they all are based on being able to see the books in iTunes.

How do I remove Overdrive books from the library that were downloaded onto my computer then transferred to my iphone? The problem is that they do not show up in iTunes.
I see this question asked a lot when I google, but they always give answers that assumes you can find the books in iTunes either under the books tab, or the audio books tab or in the music. They do not show up anywhere for me. They do not remove from the app like the ones I downloaded directly onto my iphone.the related archived article does not answer it either. I even asked a guy working at an apple store and he could not help either. Anybody...?

there is an app called daisydisk on mac app store which will help you see exactly where the memory is focused and consumed try using that app and see which folders are using more memory

How do I make Iphone proritise answering with bluetooth rather than ringing on phone?.

Previously, when I received a phone call in my car, the bluetooth radio would ring and then I would take the call by pushing button on steering wheel. Ever since installing latest IOS the bluetooth device connects but the phone just vibrates (doesn't even ring) The radio shuts off but the audio ring does not sound. Have to answer the phone manually. Defeats the purpose of having handsfree!! I note that when I phone voicemail while in car the screen shows options to use bluetooth, Iphone or speaker phone. When I am in the car I JUST want to use handsfree bluetooth (it is the LAW!!). Is this just a glitch in the new operating system update? and if so, when will it be repaired?

You can't. If iPhoto is open when you connect the phone then it will offer itself from importing.

Report performance Issue in BI Answers

Hi All,
We have a performance issues with reports. Report is running more than 10 mins. we took query from the session log and ran it in database, at that time it took not more than 2 mins. We have verified proper indexes on the where clause columns.
Could any once suggest to improve the performance in BI answers?

I hope you dont have many case statements and complex calculations that you do in the Answers.
Next thing you need to monitor is how many rows of data that you are trying to retrieve from the query. If the volume is huge then it takes time to do the formatting on the Answers as you are going to dump huge volumes of data. Database(like teradata) returns initially like 1-2000 records if you hit show all records then even db is gonna fair amount of time if you are dumping many records

Mail OS wont open, it just says "program not answering"

I just intalled the latest update, and now when i click to open mail OS, i wont open the program, i just gives the message "Program not answerin" when i right click on the mail icon.

I USED THIS PROCESS :
Get Pacifist.
Download Safari 5.1.7 for Lion.
Quit Safari if running.
Install Safari 5.1.7 using Pacifist. Select "Open Package", choose the 5.1.7 dmg from step 2. Click on the "Contents of Safari5.1.7LionManual.pkg", then click "Install" on the toolbar. Choose "Yes" or "Replace" when asked, and wait for it to finish.
Disable the frameworks that were installed by Safari 6 (by renaming them). You will be prompted for your administrator password.$ cd /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks $ sudo mv SafariServices.framework SafariServices.framework.disabled
Disable additional Safari 6 frameworks (optional, but recommended):$ cd /System/Library/StagedFrameworks/Safari $ sudo mv SafariServices.framework SafariServices.framework.disabled $ sudo mv WebInspector.framework WebInspector.framework.disabled
Launch Safari.
If it doesn't work, you can re-install Safari 6 from Software Update.

Answer report as pdf

I have requirement where I have two reports, summary and detailed report. Summary report is in the dashboard. The requirement is to display a hyperlink/url for the detailed report. When a user clicks on this link a pdf of detailed report should open. How can this be done?

We cant give directly a pdf output,but we can drill down or navigate or use go URL to the detailed report on the same page or open it in other web page.There you can provide a download for the user to download it to pdf.Here are the links how to achieve that

How I want to use iCloud + my PC, help/look for answers here

Howdy all, I will be updating this if i manage to fix my problems
So I love my iPad, and I will soon get an iphone. But regardless of those purchases, I still have a PC and I will continue using it.
But I love my iPad as my main personal organizer, (contacts, calendar, etc). So I want to be able to use my iPad to update stuff and have my contacts, calendar, and purchases apply to my PC as well as my future iPhone. Since apple devices sync my easily, I decided to make this discussion to help others as well as my self set up apple to windows related things.
And please, back up your device before anything, just incase.
I am using:
Windows 7 home edition 64bit
iTunes 10
iPad IOS 5
Outlook 2010

Apps - This part is DONE

So, you have to turn the MUSIC, APPs, BOOKS on through iTunes(PC) as well as your devices. So now, buying apps, as long as you devices/PC has your account logged in, it should apply my purchase to all of them at once.
Book Marks- This part is DONE
I like to use chrome. But to sync them together, I exported all of my Chrome bookmarks, and shoved it into Safari, it seemed easier than using IE.
I then synced my ipad's book marks into Safari. Now Safari, on my PC, contains ALL of my iPad and Chrome book marks. I then exported the bookmarks from safari and imported it into Chrome. A bit longer and annoying, but it worked.
So from now on, all Chrome bookmarks on my PC will have to be added to Safari. And my iPad bookmarks, will require me to carry it from Safari to Chrome.
Photos - This part is DONE
So, in my own opinion, Photo stream is stupid. All this is, is Dropbox for pictures.
On a PC, after setting it up, it will give you a Photo Stream Folder. ANY pictures you put into Photo Stream Folder will be on photo stream and sync to all of your devices that have it turned on. But, in order to KEEP this picture, you must save each one or else it will auto delete in 30 days.
But, any photo that you take SHOULD automatically download into your PC. Which will also require you to save the photos into a different folder.
My boss at work figured this part out. IN ORDER TO ERASE photos off of photo stream, you will have to reset photo stream, which will kill the cloud distrubution of the pictures to each device, and erase those pictures on the cloud. Then you have to delete it off each device.
We believe that apple will change this. I mean, its kind of pointless if you can erase the pictures.
This part is where I had to use Outlook 2010.
Please note, This is a brand new outlook, I do not care about anything previously inside and there is nothing for me to erase or lose
eMails - This part is DONE
So the point of this part is to sync your iPad mails with your Outlook 2010. I don't use this, because I still prefer to go to each of my 3 individual email accounts to send mail. If I were out and about, I would be accessing each email through the website or my iPad, so I do not see the point in setting up the email sync.
But in order to use eMail, contact, calendar sync with Outlook, I had to make a default account. I HAVE NO CLUE what that means, but the error was this
"Setup can not continue becuase outlook isnt configured to have a defualt profile. Check your outlook settings and try again."
So find the settings a set a default account. IF you wanted to set the account to your @me.com account, then you will have to connect that email to outlook. But, it WONT WORK! I used these settings
p99-imap.mail.me.com > incoming
p99-smtp.mail.me.com > outgoing
check remember password and SPA
then go to "more settings" > "Advanced" tab and enter
For IMAP Port :"993" or just choose SSL from the encrytion dropdown
For SMTP Port : "587" and choose Auto from the encrytion dropdown. (do not choose SSL)
then goto outgoing server tab
check first box ...SMTP

Calendar - This part is PARTIALLY DONE
My original Calendar was on Gmail, I synced my calendar from my gmail to my iPad. But with the new iCloud, I want it to all be on the cloud. I think I can sync the iCloud's calendar into outlook, but I cannot push my calendar from Outlook into iCloud.
So ON my iPad, I did a list view, and clicked on each event (thank god I only had 6 months worth of stuff, and changed it from my gmail calendar to save onto my ipad. So then since the events are now saved onto my iPad, I pushed that into the iCloud.
Now all that is left to do is to PUSH my iCloud Calendar into my Outlook. So then when I update stuff, it will show up on my PC.
But with the iCloud Control Panel, I cannot sync my Calendar. I keep getting this error
"Setup can not continue becuase outlook isnt configured to have a defualt profile. Check your outlook settings and try again."
I have no clue what to do
Contacts - This part is PARTIALLY DONE
I am still working with this, but that error like the one above is still there as well.

@Naiks, having suffered through unsuccessful synching attempts for Calendar and Contacts myself, l would suggest you try the following:
UNINSTALL iCloud control panel from your PC. Seems silly, but do it.
Go into Outlook, and look at the very top menu. Click FILE, then ACCOUNT SETTINGS, then click the popup box.
You will see a list of all your email accounts. Make sure that ONE of them has a checkmark against it. If not, select the account your want as your default, and click "set as default.
Exit out of Outlook and reboot your machine.
Now reinstall iCloud, check CALENDAR and CONTACTS, and do as instructed when prompted.
Reboot for good luck and now launch OUTLOOK. All that remains is to locate your iCloud Contacts and Calendar files, and make them your default.
IMPORTANT: Don't panic if you can't find your contacts -- they're there. Click CONTACTS and you'll see you have several available contact files. Locate the one label "iCloud" in grey type. Right-click on it, select PROPERTIES, then click the Outlook Address Book tab. Check the box that says something like "Make this my default Outlook Address Book." Keep clicking "apply" and "okay" until you've exited out of the dialog box maze.
You may have to do something similar with your Calendar files. I dd not, but if you need to, do it.
Everything should now sync pretty seamlessly.
I didn't have the exact same problem as you, but my dilemma was close enough. Good luck!

At home I can read an email and if I want to get back to it at a later date I can mark it as "keep as new". I tend to forget it if it goes to "read" mail. Right now, when I read an email from my phone it goes automatically to "read" mail.

On the iPad, using the mail app, there is no way to do what you are asking without tapping the flag icon and marking the item as unread. Have you tried the OWA app for the iPad? It may have that functionality, but I haven't tested it as you need an Office 365 subscription with Exchange support to use the app.

How can I access my iCloud email account when I don't remember the password and Apple won't accept the answer to my security question?

I set up an email account with " @me.com". I get a wrong password message when I try to log in. When I try to change my password I get an INcorrect answer message to the security question I'm asked my birth date so I know I have it right, unless I did a typo when I set up the account. When I choose email me the reset password lnk I cannot retrieve the email because it won't accept the password. I wanted to justemail Apple for instructions but cannot find an email address for that. Any help would be appreciated.

Why can you NOT get a straight forward answer on upgrading to Edge?

On Saturday morning I called customer care with a SIMPLE question about how the Edge Program works. The lady I spoke with gave me information that didn't make sense and told me one of my lines could move to edge and the other could only after 6 months of on-time payments. That didn't make sense to me, how could one be eligible and not the other when the explanation of WHEN would be eligible is contingent upon 6 months payments. I was so irritated I started shopping at other carriers to see what their "Edge" like programs work like and was considering switching carriers. So, I called back and spoke with another guy to find out what my ETF's were and he informed me that I COULD upgrade both lines to a Note 4 for about $5 above what my bill is a mo. each with all of the discounts applied. I told him that I would go to a Verizon store and probably upgrade instead of cancelling. So, I went to the store and was treated TERRIBLY!! I was told that I could not move both of my lines to the edge program with the Note 4. I was told I could move to Edge with both lines but one would have to be a Droid and the other could be whatever phone I wanted. I was blown away with yet another piece of information that was not matching up with what I was told. He said I could call customer care and see if they could do anything. I was BLOWN away that a corporate Verizon store would just turn me away (which was extremely demeaning and embarrassing in front of their other customers) to call customer care again and tell me my best option would be to cancel if I wanted a new phone for the line I wanted to upgrade. So, I called customer care again and spoke with another lady who correctly informed me (I think) of how it works and stated there was nothing she could do on the line that was not eligible which should have been told in the previous conversation with the guy I spoke with. One thing struck me as odd, she said the phone is on a lease with Edge so the phone is never yours, which is something NO ONE mentioned at any point in any prior conversation. So, is that true? I now know where I stand with upgrading but my original questions about how Edge works are still not fully answered and what the last rep stated brings up other questions. If it's "leased" what happens if it's broken or lost? Anyway, I was looking for what I thought was a straight forward answer to a question about how Edge works, how much it costs, and are my lines eligible, etc. and wasted a good hour on the phone and another two driving to a store just to get turned away like as though no one even cared! The last lady I spoke with seemed to care but I'm blown away with the TERRIBLE customer service and COMPLETE lack of ownership. Why can no one take the feedback and DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT and then answer my questions about the Edge program. Bottom line, I'm not looking for a freebie upgrade (though maybe I should for all of the time wasted due to incorrect/inaccurate information). but I'm blown away that no one wants to do anything.
That all being said, can someone on here explain how Edge works with the discounts and is the phone really a "leased" phone? Pretty sad that I'm resorting to forums to ask other customers how it works but would appreciate any info anyone can share. I'm probably going to port both of my numbers to AT&T if it is true they are a lease and due to all of the terrible customer service.

I just saw in another post that if it's an "early" edge I would have to turn in the phones. No one told me that either and now I wonder if just forget Edge and port out. What's the advantage of doing Edge with all this confusion and red tape? Is an early edge considered early if you're upgrading with Edge prior to the contract end on the current phone? Verizon Customer Care and Stores REALLY NEED to be up front about this stuff! From what I see here and what others are going through Edge is a TERRIBLE TERRIBLE program.

I received your emai stating that my photos are safe and are present in the folder on your computer that you specified when importing them. If you used Photoshop Album Starter Edition to import your files from the camera without changing the default folder, look in this folder. I have tried looking in the default folder and there is nothing there to help. Some of these photos were scanned in from my Cannon Printer. Surely if Adobe are requesting me to register and telling me they will send me a code no. that is all that needs to be done.

I'm so sorry, but in today's world, the support of low cost products through personal contact has become very uncommon. It simply does not pay to sell a product for $50 or $100 and then pay people to sit in cubicles to talk on the phone that may cost $50 or $100 an hour.
That said, I'll try to help for free!
CS5, CS5.5 and CS6 are products from the past that, as far as I know are not being updated or maintained. Adobe has replaced them with the "Creative Cloud" or "CC". So, if you want a current version of "Premier CC", you "rent" it for $20 a month. For $50 a month, you can rent everything Adobe makes for photogrphers, videographers, designers and graphic artists.
If "upgrade" means "get a cheaper price", no.
The easiest way to buy the DVD version of Elements 13 is to order it from a major retailer like B&H Photo or Amazon. I've checked and both have it. The cheapest way to buy it is to wait for holiday season pricing.

Just saw your post. Better late than never. You may want to
consider GameBrix.com, where you can create Flash based, casual
games using your web browser. No downloads are required. You can
create a game from scratch using a library of images, sounds and
game mechanics. You can also upload your own. The online script
editor will allow you to view and edit the ActionScripts associated
with each game mechanic. In short, a great way to ramp up on game
design and build your own game without investing a lot of $
upfront.
BTW I am associated with GameBrix so any feedback is
appreciated.
