In bc4j debug output - "Cannot write SessionCookie value to a commited.."

I am taking a look at an application debug logs and whenever an AM is Reset this warning is thrown:
"Cannot write SessionCookie value to a commited response."
Has anyone else seen this in their log?
This is a 10.1.2 app with struts and BC4J. I'm trying to debug a memory leak on a server, and I suspect it has something to do with an overloaded bc4jrequestprocessor...and it kind of worries me that the session might not be being saved and perhaps some resources are sticking around....ideas?

Finally found the problem!
Even if the data type is Date/Time in Access and it is possible to set the field name to DateTime it seems to be a restricted word when using an SQL statement. The solution is to add brackets around DateTime like this:
INSERT INTO Measurement (TestID,[DateTime]) VALUES (1,'2015-01-28 06:52:16');
Thanks for your help Cosworth.

    Hi Phil,
    Thank you for your questions. Have you uninstalled Office 2007 from the machine before the Office 2013 installation?
    I believe you've already seen this KB article before, the steps above are quoted from it:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/838687
    As can been seen from the article, the steps above are specific to Method 4. There are three other Methods mentioned in the article, have you ever tried them? If not yet, I would suggest you to have a try:
    Method 1: Set the permission for the Everyone group of the registry subkeys that are listed in the error message to Full Control.
    Method 2: Disable the third-party application.
    Method 3: Try the installation again in
    Let me know if the issue persists after the steps above, we'll take a further look then.

  • Cannot write negative values on modbus server on cRIO 9068

    Hello everybody,
    I'm trying to move a project from a cRIO 9114 platform to a cRIO9068, the reason is for a heavy difference in terms of CPU power, memory, FPGA performance etc..
    On real time side I deploy a TCP modbus server, and I publish just I16 data.
    The problem comes when the program try to write a negative value in a variable binded on modbus. That variable is in the same format (I16), so the program could write negative values between 0 and -32768, but everytime the modbus force the value to zero.
    I tested the modbus also with "NI Distribuited System Manager 2014" but still cannot write negative values on I16, but I can if I consider data as I32!!!
    (see enclosed files)
    Moreover I deployed a modbus server on my PC and in this case all goes right.
    Some more information:
    I'm working with labView 14.0f1.
    On cRIO are installed "Labview RealTIme 14.0.0" and "Modbus I/O server 14.0.0".
    I tested the feature on three different cRIO 9068 with  same result.
    I'm thinking that's something wrong with cRIO 9068, can somebody help me?
    Thank you

  • The "alsa audio output error: cannot write: Broken pipe" problem

    [Solved]
    (No place for this word in the Subject field, so I put it here.)
    Hi Arch community!
    I noticed I have this problem and not sure when in started. Several months ago I bought and installed new videocard "GeForce GT 630". Right after installation I lost sound in the system. Having internal sound card (in mainboard) and SB Audigy2 (PCI), I searched for solution and found I had to disable "snd_hda_intel" module to restore sound to work through PCI sound card. Did it.
    echo "blacklist snd_hda_intel" >> /etc/modprobe.d/no-nvidia-sound.conf
    After that sound was working as it should. And I noticed recently that during playing of any sound file the sound interrupts. If run VLC from CLI I get "alsa audio output error: cannot write: Broken pipe" message. And my system hasn't been upgraded since I don't know when. I still ran Firefox 26. So googled again and found it's a bug in a kernel or somewhere else.
    ==========================================
    https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=69942 :

    I ran a system update last night, and this issue appears to have been corrected.
    ==========================================
    And so I thought upgrade would fix my problem since mainstream bug is fixed. After upgrade sound interrupts again, maybe even more often.
    Do you guys have this issue and does anyone have a solution?

    Not particularly wise to blacklist the module, since it probably is also used by the integrated sound card. With vid and pid you could just disable the nvidia card alone using parameter enable=0. Unless you do not mind having both disabled.
    Where do I need to input "enable=0"? When I was searching for solution to make my Creative card work with new nVidia card I installed, the only way I found was blacklisting the module.
    dmesg says:

    any work arounds???????

    HTTP is a request / Responce based protocole where all the data to be send to the server must be included in the request and then the server send all the data as the responce.
    By the time you read the responce the request is already send and the server have finished processing it. So it is not posible to send more data to the same request.

  • How to turn of debug output from the jdriver for Oracle

    We are running our builds with Ant and doing unit-tests with junit/cactus.
    The Weblogic jDriver produces what appears to be debug info on standard out which
    in turn is captured by junit in xml files reporting errors etc. The problem is that
    the WebLogic driver ( WL6.1 SP2) sometimes produces binary 0's ( see below) ending

    This is probably a bug in the c-code for the jdriver , the oci dll ?

    Hi Gunnar,
    I'd check your code for appearances of "DriverManager.setLogWriter" that set

  • Write OPC Values Delayed or Conflicting?

    We have Lookout 6.1 and KepWare OPC server.  We have values from a fieldpoint module that we are then writing out to tags on the Kepware OPC server which is connected to a Mitsubishi PLC network.  If the PLC writes a value to the same device we are writing to, the device stays that value for time "X" (seems to be upward of a minute or more) before the fieldpoint value is written to the PLC device again resetting the value to the current actual value.  The OPC device in Lookout is setup as OPC 1.0 (2.0 doesn't seem to work in Lookout), use asynchronous I/O, force refresh after write, reconnect automatically, update rate of 100 ms, deadband of 0.000 percent, no poll device, and no default access.
    If we reopen Lookout, then the devices all get updated with the current values from the fieldpoint system.

    It looks like correct behaviour from your description.
    For example, you have the connection OPClient.xxx.xxx = FieldPoint.xxx.xxx
    Whenever the FieldPoint's data changes, it will be written to the Kepware through OPClient object. But it doesn't know if the data on OPC Server is changed by other source. The Lookout data will be output to OPC Server only when it changes in Lookout.
    When the PLC writes a value to the same device or same address, Lookout doesn't know that it needs to write or reset the data again because the data source in Lookout doesn't change.
    The problem I think is there are two sources that can write value to a same address. Maybe it's in need sometimes, but the confliction cannot be avoided.
    Let me know if I misunderstand your description.

  • Write key value problem

    Hello friends!
    I have run into a problem. I have a dialog box VI which asks for a serial number for each connector. There is an End button on the same VI. Its purpose if to cancel the calling of subsequent MAC no dialog boxes and serial number dialog box and to write a value of false against the enabled status of the serial ports (including the current serial port, which is being scanned). What is happening is that the serial port  for which the end button is pressed gets a true written against its enabled state (COM Port 0 Enabled=TRUE) in the config file.
    I have been trying to find the source of error but to no avail. So I finally ask for my dear friends help at NI.
    I am attaching the two VIs (these are part of a project so they use a lot of other VI unrelated to the current problem) (kindly let me know if more VIs are required for debugging).
    Thanks a lot for taking time out to let me out of my predicament.

    I found your code extremely difficult to follow because of your excessive use of sequence frames and local variables. All of the code you showed can be written without using sequence frames, and most, if not all of the local variables can be eliminated. This would make the code much easier to follow and debug. If you right-click on the sequence frame and select Replace -> Flat Sequence you will see what I mean. It seems you have a background in text-based coding. As it is, here's what I can say:
    "Enter Serial Number" VI
    You are not properly using the event structure. For example, in your "End" event case you set a separate Boolean control and fire off the event for a value change in one of the cluster elements. Why? This second "End Loop" Boolean is competely superflous. Delete it. The cluster is not visible to the user, so they cannot change it. Place the code that's in that event case in the "End" event case, and place the "End" button in that event case and wire it out to the stop terminal of the loop.
    The "Serial No" value change event case is completeley unnecessary. You're writing the value that it's being changed to back to the control. It's already been changed!
    Change the mechanical action of "OK1" to the default of "Latch When Released", and change the "Mouse Down" event case to "Value Changed". Place the "OK1" Boolean inside that event case. This event will fire when the user presses the button and lets go of the mouse button while the cursor is still on the button, adhering to standard user interfaces. Thus, if they want to cancel the button press they can. The way you have it, this is not possible.
    The "Connector In" control is not necessary. All you're doing is writing its value to another control which is the big string input. Just make this big string input your terminal control, and delete the superflous "Connector In".
    Frame 3 serves no purpose.
    Frame 4 serves no purpose since at no other time do you actually write a True to "Cancel.
    "LaunchSNM..."
    Same comment regarding frames and local variables.
    In Frame0 you do not need to use Build Array. Simply wire out the "Connector" element straight out of the loop and auto-index it to get your array automatically.
    Use a shift register instead of a local variable to carry around a value in a loop. This pertains to your "Scan End" Boolean.

    Generally this kind of error messages occur when there is a gap b/w the PDF rendering and the layout ..
    The only way to find out the error is debugging, where you have caught the exception from the driver program.

  • How to write list values to a text file?

    Hi. Does anyone know how to write values stored in a List to a text file? I have a program that asks the user to enter a name and stores it in a list. The number of names in the list depends on how many times the user wants to enter a name. The problem is that my writeToFile method, which handles writing values to a text file, only writes one name and overwrites any previous names. How could I fix this so that it goes thru the list and writes every value to the file? Any hints would be appreciated!
    peace
    Chris
    import java.util.*;
    import java.io.*;
    public class StoreNames
    String name;
    char answer;
    BufferedReader input = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(System.in));
    public void anotherName(List a)throws IOException
    System.out.println("Enter another name? (Y or N)");
    answer = (char)System.in.read();
    System.in.skip(2);
    while(answer == 'Y' || answer == 'y')
    inputName(a);
    System.out.println("Enter another name? (Y or N)");
    answer = (char)System.in.read();
    System.in.skip(2);
    if (answer == 'N' || answer == 'n')
    System.out.println("Ok. GoodBye");
    writeToFile(a);
    //prompts user to input names
    public void inputName(List a) throws IOException
    System.out.print("Enter a name: ");
    name = input.readLine();
    a.add(name);
    public void writeToFile(List a)throws IOException
    PrintWriter output = new PrintWriter(new FileWriter("names.txt"));
    output.print(name); //Problem area - handles only one line of input, overwrites previous input
    output.close();

    System.out is an instance of PrintStream (check the API documents for the System class to see this).
    So the easiest way to convert from a "print to screen" class to a "print to file" class is to acquire a PrintStream that prints to a file, and use it exactly the same as you'd have used System.out...
    So start with your console code...
            PrintStream out = System.out;
            for(int i = 0; i <10; i++){
                out.println("Number " +i);
            }Then you adapt to file code:
            FileOutputStream fos = new FileOutputStream("temp.txt");
            PrintStream out = new PrintStream(fos);
            for(int i = 0; i <10; i++){
                out.println("Number " +i);
            out.flush();
            out.close();Note that we flush the stream because for reasons of efficiency files aren't necessarily written to disk until you explicitly ask the system to do so (memory is fast, disks are slow, that's why).
    Closing the stream releases system resources associated with it.
    Actually, that's redundant, because close calls flush automatically, but I left it in for clarity.
    Any use ?

  • Formatting Failed: Cannot Write Medium...

    Hi There,
    I've been trying to burn a particular DVD now for some time. I've had nothing but problems with Compressor and DVDSP creating video artifacting (and yes, my audio is an AC3 file). This was never a problem in the older version though.
    Anyways, I bought Sorenson Squeeze because it will encode MPEG 2 files as well as I need it for Flash. After I created a .MPV file from Squeeze I brought it into DVDSP and everything seems fine - until I went to format the disc I got the following error:
    Formatting Failed
    The recording device reported the not ready error:
    Cannot write medium - incompatible format (0x30, 0x05.)
    I tried burning the disc in Toast and got a formatting failed error there too. I'm trying to burn picture only right now so there are no audio files to screw any of this up.
    Does anyone have any suggestions?
    Thanks,
    K

    Hi Kristin:
    Before trying to burn directly from DVDSP, did you build the project in your hard drive? I mean go to Format and select Destination > Output Device > Hard Drive. That will create an .img file (a DVD image file) that first: you can mount double clickig it and test it with DVD player, and second, you can take it and just drop into Toast icon (or drop the .img file into the Copy section of Toast)and burn the final video DVD.
    In that way you use DVDSP for creating the complete final DVD structure and Toast to burn it. It could help in case that DVDSP doesn't "like" your media.

  • Stupidly easy - trace source to debug output inunit test...

    I'm convinced that this is stupidly easy, but I cant figure it out...
    I have a class with "TraceSource "classname" and in debugging it work fine, I see the output in the "output" window, however when running unittests I only see "debug.Write" output...
    What am I missing... do I need to add a listener route or something?!
    - sure I'm noJedi but that's no reason to stop trying to make stuff levitate! -
    to clarify...this UnitTest:
    [TestMethod()]
    public void TestLogging()
    System.Diagnostics.Debug.WriteLine("this is a debug writeline");
    System.Diagnostics.Trace.WriteLine("this is a Trace writeline");
    var ts = new System.Diagnostics.TraceSource("classname");
    ts.TraceInformation("this is a ts.TraceInformation");
    throw new AssertInconclusiveException();
    outputs this:
    Test Name: TestLogging
    Test Outcome: Skipped
    Result Message: Exception of type 'Microsoft.VisualStudio.TestTools.UnitTesting.AssertInconclusiveException' was thrown.
    Result StandardOutput:
    Debug Trace:
    this is a debug writeline
    this is a Trace writeline
    Now... for SOME reason, THIS is NOT outputing to the DebugOutput either... when I step through the TEST...
    however stepping through code NOT in unit test does put stuff in the debug output window...
    What am I missing... why is the TraceSource not outputting... I can see in step through that the DefaultTraceListener is there (its the only listener) and I was under the impression that it directed output to the DebugOut output stream... is this not what
    I think it is...?!

    Hi Jack,
    I think you are correct in that my expectations were wrong.
    1) stepping through "SwitchLevel" is "Off", in the unit test, which is problematic.
    turning it on (to All) starts logging, but ONLY when I manually add a CONSOLETraceListener (and set the route to debug error stream to true)
    2) the doco you've pointed me at was what I was reading, but I think I read/misread it differently than you...
    I think its this that threw me:
    •A DefaultTraceListener emits Write and WriteLine messages to the OutputDebugString and to the Debugger.Log method. In Visual Studio, this causes the debugging messages to appear in the Output window. Fail and failed Assert messages also emit to the OutputDebugString Windows API and the Debugger.Log method, and also cause a message box to be displayed. This behavior is the default behavior for Debug and Trace messages, because DefaultTraceListener is automatically included in every Listeners collection and is the only listener automatically included.
    to my thinking this means that by default a "Default -> aka Debug (when DEBUGGGING)" is created for you always, and therefore in the ABSENCE of config stuff, this would be perfect for UNITTESTING - therefore TraceSource with nothing but a name
    should effectively produce the same output as "Debug.WriteLine"...
    that was my thinking, but it looks like even with 'SourceLevel.All" you still need to fiddle with it...
    Thanks for your input, for now, I've resolved this by adding the above stuff so that my existing TraceSources are at least outputting stuff in my tests so I can see more of what is going on without having to change my "TraceSource" calls to "Debug"
    calls everywhere.

  • Weird error: "Cannot write file summary in a read-only environment"

    Disclaimer: We are using an old version of bdb - 3.2.76 but are not able to easily upgrade.
    We see this occasionally in production. From looking at the code it looks like critical eviction is happening since more memory is used then the limit we set then eviction is happening but then failing since the env is read only. I'm just wondering how it got to this point. we set the max size (je.maxMemory) to 1572864 bytes.
    This is not urgent but is adding noise to logs so any suggestions would be welcome...

    Hi Nick,
    It is strange to me also that this is happening in a read-only env. Looking at the code, we don't prevent this sort of eviction in the 3.2 release or later releases. Yet we've never seen this problem before.
    This sort of eviction only happens when writing is occurring. Of course, in a read-only env there is no writing. The only way I can think of for this to occur in a read-only env is when there is a very large recovery interval -- the amount of log between the last checkpoint start and the end of the log. This can occur if you didn't close the env cleaning when you last wrote to it, or if the last checkpoint just happened to be very large.
    So one thing you could try is to ensure that you have a small checkpoint when you write to the log, before opening it in read-only mode. To do this, just before you call Environment.close, call Environment.checkpoint(new CheckpointConfig().setForce(true)). This will do one checkpoint before closing the env, and then another during the close. The last checkpoint should be small.
    If you can't do this, or it isn't sufficient, you could increase the je.cleaner.detailMaxMemoryPercentage env config property. This is the max amount of memory (% of total cache) used for the information that is being evicted. Since nothing can really be evicted in read-only mode, there is no harm in setting this to a much higher value than the default (2). I would try 10. This doesn't reserve or waste any memory, it just prevents this sort of eviction from occurring until a larger part of the cache is used. This is probably the simplest solution.
    A third approach is to simply accept that this sort of eviction will be attempted, but try to prevent the exception. If you're willing to rebuild JE (and you're not a supported Oracle customer -- please contact us if you are), then you could simply replace the 'throws' statement with a 'return null' in src/com/sleepycat/je/cleaner/UtilizationProfile.java:
        private synchronized PackedOffsets putFileSummary(TrackedFileSummary tfs)
            throws DatabaseException {
            if (env.isReadOnly()) {
                throw new DatabaseException
                    ("Cannot write file summary in a read-only environment");
            }--mark

  • Error applying Adobe Reader 11.0.07 patch - "Error 2762. Cannot write script record. Transaction not started"

    I have a problem applying the "adobe reader 11.0.07" patch. I have downloaded "AdbeRdrUpd11007_MUI.msp" from Adobe site and tried applying the patch using the command.
    The following error is prompted
    "Error 2762. Cannot write script record. Transaction not started" at the end of installation, But the version is updated to "11.0.07" in ARP.
    This error is mainly related to custom action sequence in "Execute sequence".
    I have created logfile and checked. it points to the custom action - "CreateAcroPDFRegForIE11".
    Could someone help me resolve this issue?
    Thanks in Advance..
