Marquees the HTML tag? It's the most hated HTML tag out there, most browsers removed it because it was such a pain to see in 1996 scrolling images and scrolling everything

Repeating regions not working in Contribute 6.5

Repeating regions that work inside Dreamweaver aren't working in Contribute 6.5 where I get the error message "You can't add items to repeating regions because the draft's parent template is missing or not available to users in your role. Please contact the website administrator"
My role is administrator and this happens on pages based on single templates and nested templates as well as local files and pages published on a site.
The problem seems to run through several different versions of Contribute going back at least 5 years but I haven't found a solution yet.

For me the problem is different. I don't even get to to see the add/delete buttons, so I can not add och delete a new region! I am tryong to chat with the adobe support right now, but I am not feeling very succesful. Is anyone from Adobe reading this? (It is working in CS5)

Spry dataset not loading in IE8, working fine in Firefox and Google Chrome

I made this page http://www.clermont-herault-concerts.fr/Ulrike_Van_Cotthem_repertoire.asp and it renders fine in Firefox 3.6.7 and Google Chrome, yet not in IE8, all on an XP-platform. The page validates for W3C XHTML and CSS.
The problem is that instead of loading and rendering the data, the IE8 toolbar just shows something like "waiting for 2 more data". The same happens with the php-version of the same page.
An identical problem happens with this page http://www.clermont-herault-concerts.fr/Ulrike_Van_Cotthem_media.asp.
When debugging, IE8 reports two bugs:
1. the "Object doesn't support this property or method" in character 3 of line 31 of ImageMenu.js, returning Code:0 and then
2. the "Object doesn't support this property or method" in character 1 of line 1 of http://www.clermont-herault-concerts.fr/Ulrike_Van_Cotthem_repertoire.asp, returning Code:0
Strangely enough, I used the same technique in this page http://www.clermont-herault-concerts.fr/Ulrike_Van_Cotthem_concerts.asp, and here all goes fine.
Any idea what might go wrong and how to solve this problem ?

If i change the extension name of the page in ".xml" it works in IE.
But cose the page where i get the data is a dynamic page i can't name it xml. i need ".aspx" extension.

I am using window.print() to print the data of my webpage, it prints only first page and left the remaining while it works fine with IE and Google Chrome, ie print all the pages.

My Page has data more than one page, it has verticle scroll bar to view all data .

Email php function repeat region not working

i have a form that needs to be emailed and it as products attached to it. however i have a repeat region to list all the products but when i email it ithe email only shows the first item on the list.

Yes, ALL product information in the database were retrieved and sent to the email. Only 3 products for testing purposes.
I just tested it down to the do-while loop. The html table code after that is missing.
You have to bare in mind this is a crude test. The database set up query is not as complex as yours is so that may be why its working but certainly breaking up the 'message' is the way to go. I may try and get the products from another table tomorrow if I have time to test.
The html code and column database names are the same as you have. the recordeset is 'rsOrders' instead of 'rsOrder' that you used,

Repeat regions not working in Contribute

I've got a problem with repeat regions inside templated
pages. When in contribute, I can't seem to add a new repeat region
by clicking on the plus (+) button, although it works fine in
dreamweaver. It isn't a permissions issue as far as I can tell,
since all roles have the ability to see and edit all documents, but
I can't figure out what else could be going on here. Any
ideas?

I think it's just a problem with Contribute's handling of
PHP. There was a small chunk of PHP code in a library item that had
to be removed. I was trying to save the value of a server variable
into a local variable, but had to end up putting the exact same
call in an inclue file instead. I just put the include statement
inside the library item so it showed up site-wide. The include
statement didn't do anything screwing during 'edit mode' in
Contribute, so that was the workaround.

To troubleshoot this issue, please follow these steps for identifying the error code:
View the source code of the login.microsoftonline.com webpage that shows the error message. For example, in Internet Explorer, press the ALT key to display the menu bar (if it isn't already displayed),
and then clickSource on the View menu.
Search the source code for the HR= string, and then note the numeric code that follows the HR= string.
Then you can find more information about how to troubleshoot the issue according to the error code.

Check if Style Resource Readers SharePoint group has permissions on the site, permissions to the style library and make sure that this library provides Style Resource Readers with restricted read.
If you don't see Style resource readers on the site, go to that library and set that permission. you could also just load your installation media to a folder, and execute on setup.exe, select repair option. This second option of the installation
media is the cannon vs. flyswatter approach though, but it will work

The "FIND" feature in the Edit menu does not work. I cannot search a page. If I am looking for the word "Doctor" and I know it is on the page. All I get after typing the first letter is that the typing box turns red.
This is not fun.

Make sure that <b>[] "Match case"</b> on the Find bar (Ctrl+F) doesn't have a check-mark.

FCP 7.0.3 ripple edit in timeline not working

FCP 7.0.3, AVCHD/proRes 422 LT, ripple edit in timeline not working. Using the ripple tool, I click on the edit point, drag the cursor to the clip and direction I want to trim but it doesn't work. pop-up says collision on V-1. Same thing when I double-click the clip to player and try to move the edit point on the scrub bar. This was functional in prior sessions. What's happening? Thx in advance.

I'm only using one (V1) track. Prior to this problem I was unable to insert edit. That problem mysteriously vanished after an unsuccessful phone support session w/ Apple failed to solve. Also when I try to insert w/transition (default cross-dissolve) the transition is applied to the opposite edit point,ie: out point of insert clip has transition instead of in point where it was applied. When I try to add transition to edit point (CMD-T) it doesn't work.
I'm slowly working around the ripple edit malfunction by using the razor tool and ripple delete (shift-delete) to trim in the timeline.

Saved Shopping Cart Display/Edit functions are not working

Hello SRM experts,
The problem that I have is that the buttons like Display, Edit, etc are not working on a saved Shopping Cart. What is the best way to debug this problem? How would I find out what methods are being called on the SRM system or if some entries are missing in some table for BUS2121?
We are on SRM 7.0 PPS SPS 5, Portal 7.01 SPS 5.0.

You say the control is lit, I think it should turn black if it is enabled, it should not be white. If it is black, and still not working, quitting the app and try again.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Quit/close open apps by e tapping the home button and the task bar will appear with all of you recent/open apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus (-) sign in the upper left corner to close the apps. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

My internet isn't working anymore, its not the wifi but the actual computer safari and google chrome. Its not loading particular websites, and if it is loading them, they are different to how they use to be. Computer was slow yesterday as well
