Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
* "Clear the Cache": Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
* "Remove the Cookies" from sites causing problems: Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
You may have to create an Allow cookie exception for that server.
* Tools > Page Info > Permissions

You can only watch the movie on the device you rented it on. Here's a snippet from the Apple Support site (italics mine):
If you download a rented movie on your computer: You can transfer it to a device such as your Apple TV (1st generation), iPhone, iPad, or iPod if it’s a standard-definition film (movies in HD can only be watched on your computer, iPad, iPhone 4 or later, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV). Once you move the movie from your computer to a device, the movie will disappear from your computer's iTunes library. You can move the movie between devices as many times as you wish during the rental period, but the movie can only exist on one device at a time.
If you download a rented movie on your iPhone 4 or later, iPad, iPod touch (4th generation or later), or Apple TV: It is not transferable to any other device or computer.

The instructions are in that link. Just follow them VERY CAREFULLY. Especially the part about:
Turn off your device and leave it off.
Plug in your device's USB cable to a computer with iTunes. [but DON'T connect it to the iPhone yet]
Hold down the Home button on your device as you connect the USB cable. Keep holding down the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.
When you see the iTunes screen, release the Home button. If you don't see this screen, try steps 1 through 3 again.
When your device is connected, iTunes will open. You'll see a message saying that iTunes has detected an iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch in recovery mode.
Hold down the Home button on your device as you connect the USB cable. Keep holding down the Home button until you see the Connect to iTunes screen.

See if the Disk is issuing any S.M.A.R.T errors in Disk Utility...

Open Activity Monitor in Applications>Utilities, select All Processes & sort on CPU%, any indications there?
How much RAM & free space do you have also, click on the Memory & Disk Usage Tabs.
Open Console in Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when this happens.
In the Memory tab, are there a lot of Pageouts?

I have a problem with FF 4.0b8 and Adobe Flash player where portions of the YouTube page or FF window will black out when I move my curser over buttons or tabs, etc. Any suggestions?

I'm running FF 4 Beta 8 with the latest Flash player (10.1.102.64). When I play YouTube videos, the video is loaded, starts, and plays okay, but when I move my cursor around within the Firefox window, portions of the window black out under where the cursor travels. FF tabs and buttons will black out, or parts of the YouTube page (but not the video). CTL-ALT-Del to bring up Windows Security Panel, then CANCEL will restore the Firefox window, plus the YouTube page correctly (ie black is gone and window has been redrawn correctly). I can open up new tabs and replicate the problem multiple times. I've also experienced this problem with embedded YouTube videos (though it's easiest to replicate the problem direct from the YouTube page.) I don't experience this problem at all with FF 4 Beta 8 in Safe Mode, nor the latest FF 3.x.x. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the Flash plug-in. Anyone have any ideas?

Go to any website that has a link to a story. When I move the cursor over the link to the story a second version (read) also pops up. Why would somebody need to read the link twice in the exact same spot and why does it read over the original link I am trying to read?

I just bought Apple Tv. Everything is hooked up and home sharing is turned on (imac, ipad, apple tv). When i play my itunes through my tv the song will play for apprx. 45 to 60 seconds and then cuts off and goes back to the main menu.

Network slowdowns when migrates to NX1k - TAC aren't finding the problem.

Problem information
The network slowdowns starts to happen when more or less the eighth virtual machine is migrated from the DVS VMware to NX1k.
Ping tests were done from 192.168.39.151 to 192.168.39.9, but the network slowdowns happens from ping of any virtual machine of any hardware to any virtual machine inside the HP hardware DL580 G7, any nic below:
NetXen HP NV375i Integrated Quad Port Multifunction Gigabit Server Adapter.
Broadcom Corporation NC382T PCI Express Dual Port Multifunction Gigabit Server Adapter.
NetXen HP NC522SFP Dual Port 10Gbe Server Adapter.
Tests were done with a nic at a time, and the network slowdowns happened with all.
All the hosts and virtual machines are in the same subnet and the same cluster inside the VMWare.

I recently got a new iPad Mini and that came with free iWorks. When I try to add a picture only one of my seven photo streams will load, whats up?

So I have most pictures in different photo streams from my other devices. When I try to add a picture to my slide, only one photo stream will show and the one that shows isn't even created by me, if that matters. I have turned off the Photo option on my iCloud and turned it back on. Have tried closing apps, still nothing.

When I move a mouse through a page it starts blinking like crazy; however, it works fine in safe mode.

This is happening on my Alienware M11x laptop. I do not know if the switchable graphics is affecting this, but I have tried integrated and discrete graphics and the same problem exists.

As it works fine in safe mode it indicates an extension/theme as the likely cause. Follow the procedure in the [[troubleshooting extensions and themes]] article.
You can also try disabling hardware acceleration to see if that is related. In the [[Options window - Advanced panel]], on the General tab, deselect the option to "Use hardware acceleration when available". You will need to restart Firefox after changing this setting for it to take effect.

Since updating my ipad to IOS 6.0.1, when I move my apps around and press the home button to stop them shaking, it switches my ipad off and back on again

SInce updating my ipad 2 to IOS 6.0.1, when I try to rearrange my apps and press the home button to stop them shaking it turns my ipad off, then it shows the apple sign on the screen and comes back on, but the apps are back in the places they was before I tried to move them. Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.
