In Mail I delete hundreds of messages. And moments later they are NOT in trash and all back in the Main Window. What can I do?

Mail is acting crazy.
It continues to download the same messages from years and years ago. I delete them.
Moments later they are all back. Haven't been deleted.
Suggestions?

Straight Talk now offers the iPhone (NOT the same as the SIM program that they have offered). It operates on the Verizon network. It went on sale this morning. http://iphone.straighttalk.com
And you are NOT correct. I know this for a fact - I'm actually a Straight Talk "BYOP" user. You must install a configuration profile. Period. There's no way around it - iPhone defaults to the AT&T carrier bundle (based on the ICCID number of the SIM card, which identifies itself as an AT&T SIM), which includes settings that will not work and will lock out the menus that are necessary to make changes to allow data to work.
The only way to make modifications to the APN settings (that Straight Talk includes in their package) is a configuration profile. Doesn't matter if the phone is locked or unlocked.

drag the file to the desktop, then using the menu item "File > Get Info…"
in the "Open With" section select "Mail" from the list and then click the "Change All…" button to make Mail the default application for all .eml files

OK, just remembered that someone had posted a solution for this "login loop" issue.
If you follow the directions here and be sure to enter all of this EXACTLY as it appears here, you may be able to solve this problem.
You will first need to boot into single user mode, which will bring you to a scary looking text only screen. Don't be frightened.
To do this, startup holding the Cmd-S keys together. At the entry which shows root# enter the following exactly. Write it down now, since you won't be able to copy/paste. Pay attention to case and spaces. Everything is lower case. The only spaces are between /sbin/mount and -uw, between -uw and / and between rm and /var/audit/current
Type in
/sbin/mount -uw /
Hit return and then at the next root# prompt, type in
rm /var/audit/current
Then hit return and at the next root# prompt type in "reboot" no quotes. Don't type in anything new until you get the root# prompt after entering each command.
If after entering rm /var/audit/current, you get a message back saying "no such file," then just type in "reboot" at the prompt.

Reset the device, restart the device, try downloading any other app.

Copying the program over to a new machine will not work. Install it using installation files and activate it using the serial number assigned to the license.

Are you able to select the text in Word by triple-clicking inside the text box? (Sometimes text selections can be tricky in converted files.) If you can't select the text, then I'm guessing that the PDF was created from a scanned file (so the text becomes images). Make sure that OCR is enabled when you convert the file to Word. OCR is enabled by default in the ExportPDF web interface, but can be disabled in Adobe Reader. If you're converting to Word from within Adobe Reader, make sure that OCR is enabled and that the correct language is selected:

travel! Regarding your iPhone 5, the phone is unlocked for international usage.
Just need an active local SIM card that is compatible with your iPhone. Your local provider
may need to configure some settings under Cellular, but it should pick up signal. Just in
case, make sure that Settings>Cellular>Roaming>Voice & Data are
active.
