I need to know if apple makes it possible to change the apn on an unlocked at&t iphone....

Straight Talk now offers the iPhone (NOT the same as the SIM program that they have offered). It operates on the Verizon network. It went on sale this morning. http://iphone.straighttalk.com
And you are NOT correct. I know this for a fact - I'm actually a Straight Talk "BYOP" user. You must install a configuration profile. Period. There's no way around it - iPhone defaults to the AT&T carrier bundle (based on the ICCID number of the SIM card, which identifies itself as an AT&T SIM), which includes settings that will not work and will lock out the menus that are necessary to make changes to allow data to work.
The only way to make modifications to the APN settings (that Straight Talk includes in their package) is a configuration profile. Doesn't matter if the phone is locked or unlocked.

I've fixed the first problem, seeing a blank screen. This was due to Third party cookies. Apparently those has to be accepted.
But I still don't get any e-mail links to verify my account. I've tried to resend a couple of times from the Android app and from the portably installed version on Windows. I've also created a second account without any luck to be able to verify.

I would just explain that this just started happening, that nothing has changed on the phone, that it is an original iPhone and I wondered if they are implementing a change in coverage with their Edge network in my area.
If you restore your phone, you will be given an option to back up your phone at the beginning of the process (see step 6 here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414). No, not unless it is simply a network connection.
How is your IPTV being provided.. if it is using a separate vlan or separate vpi/vci in the adsl connection. Who is your ISP?
Is the TP-Link ADSL?
Is the IPTV using a separate voice channel on adsl?
Or a different vlan.
Sorry but it is something where a definite answer is not possible unless you provide all the details.

First thing to try is to reset your device. Press and hold the Home and Sleep buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Let go of the buttons and let the device restart. See if that fixes your problem.

My iPhone 5 lock button doesn't work half the time. What can I do about this?

For the past month or so my lock button hasn't been working. It takes three or more tries to get it to work and sometimes I just can't even use it. Pressing harder doesn't work. Is there anything anyone can help me out on with this? It's getting annoying and I want to know if there's a way to fix it.

Give iPhoto a look at for creating the slideshow. It's easy to assemble the photos in an album in iPhoto, put them in the order you want and then make a slideshow of them. You can select from various themes and transitions between slides and add music from your iTunes library.
When you have the slidshow as you want use the Export button at the bottom of the iPhoto window and export with Size = Medium or Large.
Save the resulting Quicktime movie file in your Movies folder.
Next, open iDVD, choose your theme and drag the QT movie file into the menu window being careful to avoid any drop zones.
Then follow this workflow to help assure the best qualty video DVD:
Once you have the project as you want it save it as a disk image via the File ➙ Save as Disk Image menu option. This will separate the encoding process from the burn process.
To check the encoding mount the disk image, launch DVD Player and play it. If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding is good.
Then burn to disk with Disk Utility or Toast at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality. Always use top quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.
The reason I suggest iPhoto is that I find it much easier to use than iMovie (except for the older iMovie 6 HD version). Personal preferences showing here.
