Hello Experts,
Can You tell me that in which which areas and modules the planned values of asset module is connected...
E.G. If we change anything related to life of the asset or something else where where it wil affect. If any one has any chart or PPt regarding that.. can you share?

It will affect the Planned Values (Dep Values) in the Asset Master in AW01N
Upon next dep run, the differential depreciation of all open previous period / Fiscal year will be posted in the next period / over the next periods
Eg: APC Value 12000, Use ful life 12 months.... So, Dep each month is 1000... You posted Dep till March (3 months)... You change the useful life to 6 months in April....
So, the depreciation posted in April will be 12000/6 (2000)+ (2000-1000) x 3 = 5000 i.e. 2000 of April month + delta depreciation 1000 of earlier months.... This is if you dont tick the SMOOTHING indicator in OAYR
If you tick the smoothing indicator in OAYR, the delta depreciation 3000 will be spread over Apr-Dec i.e. 9 months instead of posting in April itself

As a part of the standard Sales promotion Solution in COPA , the Planned Value tab in the Condition Type for a Sales Deal needs to be available. Tcode VB21 for a Condition type & then click the Magnifier lens...in which the planned values tab should be available. Can anyone tell me how to activate the tab. Its not available in our Dev client.

Retruning rows which have same value return by RANK function

Hi, what I wanna acheive is to use a DENSE RANK function to identify the same value of the data, if rank values are same then extra out. Here is the code

Hi to all
Please tell me where can I find out the values which are assigned in authority object according to roles.
for ex :
         Changed    Customer: Account Authorization                              F_KNA1_BED
          Changed    Customer: Account Authorization                              T-DR50175601
            Activity                       01, 02, 03, 08                                                              ACTVT
            Authorization Group            5100                                                                        BRGRU
F_KNA1_BED is the authority object , assigned to one user.
He can access the authorization group 5100. I want to check that value in my program.
How ?
Where it is stored.

Hi Anubhav,
Please use this FM "SUSR_USER_AUTH_FOR_OBJ_GET" and pass the object name in it . You would get the values for that particular object.

Hi,
Education cess at PO level is not stored directly into any table, instead it is calculate at runtime using function module "PRICING" with calculation type "B".
Edu. Cess for Invoice are stored in table BSET table. You can identify the record passing condition type (KSCHL).
Manul excise condition goes to table KONV linked with EKKO-KNUMV field.

How to Get Resource value which are referred in code behind file using IResourceProvider

Hi Everyone,
Currently I'm working on moving the Resource file from "App_GlobalResources" to Database by using IResourceProvider. I created a CustomResourceProvider project using ResourceProviderFactory and able to get the resource values from DB which
are used in aspx page.
But i'm not able to get the values which are referring from code behind file.
Ex: Label1.Text = Resources.Common.Car; // This is still coming from resx file.
Can any one please let me know how to get the value from DB instead of resx file which are referred in cs file.
Appreciate your help.
The below code uses the ResourceProviderFactory which calls this method and gets it from DB. Please let me know if you need any more info.

You can use IP24 (scheduling Overview). Instead of entering no of days you can enter the the scheduling start date.
for example today is 21.02.2011.You want to see the schedules due till 28.02.2011
Enter the schedule start date From 21.02.2011 to 28.02.2011. If there are pending jobs which also should be included either leave the from date blank or give the date from which pending jobs also to be listed.
From the out put of IP24 you can see The plan , item , description ofitem/plan , Start date , End date ,completion date etc. also order number/notification number.
IP19 can be used for simulating and viewing plan date beyond the scheduling period you have given for each plans.

Those values which are there in the IN list but not in the table.

Hi All,
We have a table global_title_isbn having 18 columns with primary key on title_isbn. This table contains approx. 10 million rows.
Normally what we used to get was 10-15 comma seperated list of ISBNs for some business process , for them we have to check into the table to figure out what all ISBNs are not there in the table.
But now a days we are getting a list of more than 100 ISBNs and there are times when only less than 40 ISBNs exist in the table. So figuring out what all ISBN are not there in the given list is very tiresome job.
Is there any way using SQL we get list of only those ISBN which are not there in the table from the list,
eg
select * from global_title_isbn where title_isbn in ( a comma seperated list);
will give me those ISBNs which are there in the global_title_isbn and in the given list..
Desired O/P
a list of ISBN which are there in the given list but do not exist in the table.
PS:-- I have only read access . I cannot create any table/view etc and PLSQL stored procedure.....

BOM explosion for component in ECC which are relevant for planning in APO

as we assign materials the MRP type X0 with the MRP procedure X (without MRP, with BOM explosion) which are relevant to APO, so if i have BOM under this item then how this below level Items will be plan in ECC....?
as we are excluding the component from planning so how the below level will be plan .....?

Answer lies in your question only.
as the assembly is relevant to be planned in APO but it will be exploded in MRP and the lower level component will be planned in R/3 only if required.
Only teh assembly which have MRP type X0 will be planned in APO.

Which are the setting values for the Virtual CTI Driver? (Siebel Communica)

hi everybody,
the application I'm using is Siebel Communications 8.1.
I am learning about integration processes with the Siebel Communications Server Administration Guide. One of the points or topics there is the use of the Virtual CTI to integrate your Siebel Business Applications with Oracle Contact Center Anywhere (as in the bookshelf described).
I've read, with this driver agents can access communications functionality using the communications toolbar.
The Virtual CTI is a driver provided by Oracle. You can't see it listed on the Administration -> Communications ----> Communications Drivers and Profiles. So I guess it is important to add this driver to the list.
I have questions about that:
1. Should I add this driver to the list? or when can I do that?
2. Which are the setting values for the mentioned driver?
- Communications Channel?
- Inbound Yes
- Outbound Yes
- Interactive
- Channel string
- Library name
Could anybody help me? I would appreciate that.

Asset Value which are below 5000

Hi,
I have one requirement for the Assets which are below 5000 Value, Asset should be depreciated 100% as on booking date. They are not OK with creating
either "Low values asset class or 100 % Depreciation Key". kindly let me know is there any other possible ways to achieve this?

Hi SV,
I understood the requirement but my question is what is the issue in creating a new depreciation key because that is the most appropriate way? If I use any other depreciation key which is not depreciating the asset to 100% then for audit purpose it will be very difficult to justify it.
The only way of doing it without depreciation key is mass scrapping of asset using ABAVN. So either identify all those assets and mass scrap them or better create a new asset class for assets value less than 5000 currency units and mass scrap them.

Parameter field should pick the values which are there in the value table

I have a requ. where in a parameter field should pick only the values which are there in the value table for that particular field and should not allow the User to put in any other value.
The value table is created in the program manually.
EX:If the value table contains two sales organization VE03 and VE65 then the field shouldn´t allow anyother value other then those two.

Please help me in building the following query:

In the above data let us assue there is only one grand parent say 10 and the values 50,60,70,80 etc are not attached to grand parent 10.So i need to display the values which are forgotten to attach to the Top Node 10 i.e, here 50,60,70,80 etc. If my query helps in retreving these values then i can attach them back to the hierarchy.
