In window.open i am trying to hide the location info in the address bar. However each time i see the URL of target page which gets open in the new window in the location bar.
FF version is 3.6.8

Well when the indsatalltion failed I was given instructions to select Download Only from Tools and then install manually. When I did it, I window popped up with the following items: - AppleApplicationSupport

Hi,
I am trying to install 'Playonmac' so I can install Meta Trader 4 - however each time I reach the next button in order to install XQuartz it hits a dead end
- the 'Installing Quartz' window is saying installing Quartz, but all it does from there is the clock the spins around, just keeps spinning and nothing happens - I have waited and waited for it, but it just kind of freezes there. I have reloaded the software over and over, and even switched off the firewall in case it was blocking Playonmac. It is really important I load Meta Trader 4 on my Mac.
Help will be much appreciated - Has anyone had this sort of problem? Does anyone know how to resolve it?

JoeAccording to wiki "the documentation from Apple states that Windows XP Service Pack 2 or Windows Vista is requisite for a Boot Camp installation, and it also mentions that trying to install an unsupported operating system could prevent the computer from booting even into Mac OS X". Sure that was from wiki, but it does seem to support and somewhat validate the problem I had with installing an earlier edition of XP.

Thanks for the info on the Filesystem info. My problem is that installing OS X on a mac is just a little bit more technical than installing Windows on a PC as there are a few more things to consider. Plus I'm not familiar with any of the utility programs as well. It's a **** miracle I managed to somehow create a volume to install OS X on when I thought I was erasing the partition I created for WinXP.
But I'm still not sure about the missing 40GB from my 500GB HDD. Upon coming to the desktop straight after OS X was fully re-installed I noticed that the HDD only had 460GB and that 440GB of it available space. So the full installation of OS X was 20GB, but where has the other 40GB gone? I swear I saw that I had much more available space on my harddrive (BEFORE I tried to partition my HDD under Boot Camp Assistant and stuffing up the computer). Is the missing 40GB from the ORIGINAL FACTORY INSTALL of OS X INCLUDING all my iTunes music and other files I uploaded to the computer earlier? It would make sense but there's no way, as far as I know, of checking this. Any ideas?

I have the IPhone 4s and it is up-to-date with all upgrades. Just recently I changed my YAHOO! password however each time I go into settings to update the password I keep getting "YAHOO! Server Unavailable Please try again later." I have lost my YAHOO! email connection, all calendar entries and saved notes.
A lot of people have been unable to access Yahoo e-mail on their iPhones or iPads. My wife’s iPad was not downloading Yahoo mail, although her iPhone was. Both used IOS 8.2. We tried deleting the account several times and troubleshooting all of the other settings. The problem appears to have been that allowing the IOS to automatically create the account on the iPad resulted in the wrong settings for the incoming server. The following procedure, pieced together from two websites, fixed the problem for us. So far, so good.

The other lines work, but the line to hide the Options menu does not. This in on Windows 32-bit XP sp3.It is an ellipsis (…) and not three dots.
If there is an ID for a menu entry like in this case #menu_preferences then it is better to use that ID.

"Get Bookmark Add-ons" is a normal bookmark that you can remove via the right-click context menu or move elsewhere. -
How to hide extra text and icons in address bar
I want to make the icons and extra text in the address bar go away since they do nothing for me and only take up space that I need to use to see the whole URL. Right now there's a green padlock icon on the left side with 1/4 of the space taken up by "Mozilla Foundation (US)" instead of the URL, other times it's a little globe or a little lego/car battery looking thing, or several icons in a row. There's a permanent star shaped thingy on the left and a down arrow that want to get rid of as well. I don't care at all what they mean, I just want them gone. I need to see as much of the URL in the URL bar as possible, not a bunch of icons and extra non-URL text. The address bar should be for addresses, and that's how I want my browser to function. I don't care one single bit what those icons or extra text are for, so please don't try to advocate for their staying. I've made up my mind 100% that I want them gone. Can I make them go away, yes or no?
I use code to hide the URL in case of a EV certificate and only show it on hover.
You still see the green padlock.
That gives me extra space on the location bar

Problem with Excel user form when trying to hide the excel workbook
My excel application has a userform which contains combo box and list box
I am using the below code to make my excel file invisible when its open (i.e it directly shows the userform)

for my excel file....But the problem now is that
My values for combo box are in the Budget.xlsm file and since the
Workbooks("Budget.xlsm").Windows(1).Visible = False
is now invisible ...the combo box have no values in it.... Also I have some List boxes in my userforms which are linked to some range in the excel file even they are blank
The values selected in the userform are also send back to the same excel file (Budget.xlsm)

How do you specify combo box items value? Do you mean the items of combo box will be cleared when the workbook hidden?

This is typically if you have a lot of (or high priced) in app purchases. Contacting the iTunes store, they can reactivate your account. I believe they temporarily deactivate the account in case someone is making purchases on the account as a protective measure. I'm sure you have seen the horror stories about "little Johnny" buying lives in Candy Crush to the tune of a thousand dollars?
Credit card companies do the same thing, like if your purchasing pattern changes, they may require you contact them before they will allow additional charges on your account. So, I think it is for your protection.
