Hi,
 When I a include of a file in a jsp file it could look like this:
 <%@ include file="/jsp/ram01/login_ram2.jsp" %>
 Would it be possible to replace file value with a variable ? I tried but it
 does not seem to work.

 The include directive (<%@ include ... %>) is a translation-time activity which
 is not processed in the context of a particular request (although JSP
 compilation is normally done in the context of a request being submitted for
 the page). As Ruslan points out, the include action (<jsp:include .../>) does
 allow a jsp expression for the page specification -- this is because the
 include action is a runtime inclusion. The short story is that <%@ include ...
 %> is not an abbreviation for <jsp:include ... /> -- they have different
 semantics.

How do I create an interactive PDF file with variable data

We would like to basically do a 'mail merge' of our list of customers with an interactive PDF file (including videos, menus, etc - not just form fill out and web links) to create a single PDF file that contains multiple mail pieces ... one for each customer ... with each mail piece being customized for that customer. Customizations would include different greetings (Dear Bob, Dear Dana, etc), as well as different charts based on data unique to the customer, different photographs, etc.
I've seen that InDesign and Acrobat Professional can be used to create an interactive PDF (such as from http://tv.adobe.com/watch/ask-the-adobe-ones/14-calling-rufus-about-interactive-pdf-making). However I don't understand how I can insert data from a database, csv file, excel file etc into the PDF file so that each page, or each set of pages, within the PDF can be customized.
Can anyone point me to a tool to use for this?

Example file, illustrator file with variables linked to xml

CS5 – Where can i find an example of an illustrator files with variables, linked to an xml file. We want to export it immediately to .pdf format when the file is linked. Is this possible? The illustrator help files are not so clear about this matter.

Changing an included file will require javascript because you need client side interaction. Have you considered Spry Datasets?

Importing a text file with variable values into web reporting

Hello,
I'm looking for a possibility to import values from a text file into a variable selection in Web reporting.
With BEx reporting in Excel this is possible, by clicking on the multiple selection button in the variable popup screen, and subsequently selecting the "Import from Text file" button.
However, this function seems not to be available for web-reporting...
It would be great if someone could help me out with this!

Problems using a php include file with an Add-on Domain.

Hello,
I am having an issue getting a php include file to work with a new add-on domain I am working on getting up and running.
This include file is one that supplies the rest of the php code to a contact form page. It works as it should for my original domain, same file no difference. I made sure that the files hosted on the remote server had all read, write, execute permissions turned on.
I have tried putting the include file in several different locations as a test, such as:
I don't remember the exact name of the include file at the moment, as I'm at work so I will designate it below as 'includefile.php'.
file path for add-on domain - ../public_html/lorentzpainting/includes/includefile.php
alternatives I tried moving the file to - ../public_html/lorentzpainting/includefile.php
When none of those options worked, I tried just pointing the path towards other places on the server that have the include file such as:
../public_html/includes/includefile.php
../public_html/includefile.php
What can I do here? Should I just give up on using the include and put all the code back in the page? Doesn't seem like it should be this complicated, it works perfectly fine for my other site.. and still does.

How to handle flat file with variable delimiters in the file sender adapter

Hi friends,
I have some flat files in the ftp server and hope to poll them into XI, but before processing in XI, I hope to do some content conversion in the file sender adapter, according to the general solution, I just need to specify the field names, field seperator, end seperator, etc. But the questions is:
The fileds in the test data may have different amount of delimiters (,), for example:
ORD01,,,Z4XS,6100001746,,,,,2,1
OBJ01,,,,,,,,,,4,3
Some fileds only have 1 ',' as the delimiter, but some of them have multiple ','.
How can I handle it in the content conversion?

Upload of Excel File with variable columns

Hi All,
I have a requirement where i have to upload xls file into SAP. This xls file has 10 rows fixed but the columns may vary from 20 to 400.
For Ex : My xls file has 10 rows and 27 columns filled at present. But in future columns can vary to 400 or more than that also.
So when i use ALSM_EXCEL_TO_INTERNAL_TABLE as

In Design Data merge into separate pdf files with variable data name

Hi all, thank you for taking the time to read this.
Here's what I have.
I've created a file in indesign using a 65 page document.
With this document I've set it up to have specific data in certain areas with data merge. I have that part setup and it works fine.
When I go to export PDF it creates one massive pdf document with all the variable data in it. However here is the scenario I would like.
1. Indesign to create a separate pdf file for each record. So in this example it would be 100 different 65 page pdfs since it should have different pdfs for each record and there are 100 records in the csv.
2. The pdf should be named after each variable record. For example record one says name "Joe", record 2 name "Frank". So it should create joe.pdf, frank.pdf etc.
How can I accomplish this?

Reading flat files with variable names in SSIS

I have a ssis package that reads a flat file from a network drive (using a flat file connection manager) and loads the data into sql server tables. I have this working on a fixed file name, however in reality the file name will not be the
same from run to run.      Essentially, I need to check a folder each day and if there is a file there with a certain prefix (for example, 'datafile'), I need to process this file(s). In other words, if there is a file in the folder
called datafilexyz, my process needs to read it in and process it.    If there are files named datafileabc, datafiledef, and testfile123, I need to read in and process the datafileabc and datafiledef flat files.
I'm not sure how to make this work.     I haven't had any SSIS training, just what I can find on the internet and looking at existing SSIS packages (I haven't found any that do what I'm trying to do here) so I'm kind of lost.
Any help is appreciated.

this is working well.    How can I, after loading each flat file, move the flat file to an archive folder?    I'm trying to use a file system task, but doing something wrong.    I created and reference
an archive folder connection manager in the destination connection, and reference the original folder connection manager for the source connection, but get 'sourcepath is not valid on operation movefile'.    I think a file system task is what
is needed (within the foreach loop after the data load for each flat file), but I'm not doing something correctly.
Sounds fine except for one thing. Did you assign the filename variable to connection string property of the source file connection manager used by file system task?
Also it should be existing file option you should choose for
source connection and existing folder for destination.

AME cannot transcode a file with Variable GOP

File bombs out about 7 seconds into the transcoding. Error log just reads error. App does not crash.
Users say 70% of files DO work. I investigated the differences between the failing and succeeding files. The only significant difference that I have found is that GOP format settings of "variable" do NOT work. If the file's value is M=3 and N=15... it does work.
I cannot control the source origination for all the different files we get here (TV News station). It has been observed that the AME 4.0 does in fact work. I feel that there is a setting that was sacrificed in order to accomodate faster encoding.
Is there a way to accomodate "variable GOP" on the source file?
Doesn't matter the destination file type, settings, parameters or any other tweeks. All have been exhaustively evaluated.
Looking for a secret menu that says "allow variable GOP".

I have a file that I can share with you, but I would need to FTP it to you. Rather large.
We have Premiere Pro CS-6 and AME. Both have the latest updates (AME is 6.0.3.1 (64-bit))
The file is MXF (Sony XDNews).

Hi,
In Sender CC, use content conversion and especially these options:
¤ RecordSet Structure = Header , 1 , Data1 , * , Data2 , * , Footer , 1
¤ Key Field Name = MyKey
¤ Namea.keyFieldValue, to distinguish your different structures (records).
for instance, like that:
Header.keyFieldValue = HDR
Header.fieldName = MyKey , xxxxx, yyyy
Data1.keyFieldValue = INV
Data1.fieldName = MyKey , xxxxx, yyyy
Data2.keyFieldValue = TOT
Data2.fieldName = MyKey , xxxxx, yyyy
Footer.keyFieldValue = TLR
Footer.fieldName = MyKey , xxxxx, yyyy
Otherwise, in SDN with term "recordset" you will find some blogs...

InDesign export to single PDF files with variable Filename

Hi there, I create a document with Data Merge which contains about 200 Pages. Now i want to export each page to a single PDF-File. Also the filename has to be generated from the placed content. The placed content are adresses. So i want to generate a filename with a static name. I got an ID, a static phrase and then a ZIP-Code. The Filename should look like this: <ID>September<ZIP Code>.pdf while ID and ZIP Code are fields from the datamerge.

UIX: Problem with the include file

When I try to compile the test.uix ( which is my parent file ) I get the following error message:
Warning(45,59): test.uix: Parsing error, line 45, column 59: attributes in the namespace:http://xmlns.oracle.com/uix/ui are only allowed with the "data" expressionLanguage
How can I resolve this ?
This is what I am trying to do - and maybe there is a better way:
I have an application with two tabs, each tab has two (or more) subTabs/PageHeaders. Each pageHeader has a sideNav with atleast three elements. Each of the element goes to a differnt page. So far I have managed to create a template for the tabs and the pageHeaders. I do the switch for the pageheaders using the switcher element with the tabSelectedIndex as my "case". However I could not figure out a way to do the switcher based on the tab and the page header selected ( two conditions ), hence I thought of writing an include file with the sideNav and including it in the code corresponding to the page headers ( the code that I have posted is a very simple globalButton include - this is the most simplest thing that I could think of to experiment )

note , this include tag is inside one mainTemplate.uit and see the rendered atribute is passed by parameter to this template.
As a metter of fact menuMeuAmbiente.uix is only the stiledlist tag and it's styledItens, i have one menu<Module>.uix for each superior tab
