As this error comes when you are trying to insert non-numeric value into a numeric column in db it seems that your field might be numeric and you are trying to send it as a string in database.
Please check your Store Proc carefully..

Is Crystal Report for VS2010 runtime redistributable package required?

Is Crystal Report for VS2010 runtime redistributable package required when develop reports using WPF window/XBAP technology?
Is it required to install this runtime package (.MSI/.MSM) into the client machine?
If .msm is to be used, then how to setup and deploye msm package into VS2010?

Crystal Reports can't add stored procedure using Oracle Provider for OLE DB

Hello,
I am trying to bind an oracle stored procedure to a crystal report through Visual Studio 2008.
This oracle stored procedure returns a ref cursor.
I am using an oracle 11g database (11.2.0.2.0) .
When I use the Oracle Provider For OLE DB driver to bind the store procedure with the report, I get the following error message:
Description : ORA -06550 Line 1 Column 7
PLS 00306 wrong number of types or arguments to the "Strored Procedure Name"
But When I use the Microsoft OLE DB provider for oracle driver, I can bind the stored procedure to the report successfully .
I cannot use the Microsoft OLE DB provider for oracle driver because it does not support the CLOB data type which I plan on having the stored procedure return once I can get everything working.
I have tried setting PLSQLRSET = 1 IN "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\KEY_OraDb11g_home1\OLEDB", but that does not seem to work either
Any assistance would be greatly Appreciated
My Stored procedure is very simple as the moment (I just need to get it working then I'll add more stuff). Here's what it looks like:

Crystal report problem in add-on(CrystalDecessions.Crystal Engine not found

i am having a problem with crystal report not opening.
what is the solution to run the add-on it i ssaying that Crytsal Engine 10.5.3700.0 is not found in assenmly or specified path.
how can i resolve this error. do i need to add some file while creating the add-on.If so what i have to add.

Crystal Report not listed Add New Item for Visual Studio 2010

I just finished installing cryestal report for visual studio 2010.
During the installation a visual studio error dialog popped up "Operation cannot be completed. Access Denied", the crystal report installation continued and was informed that the installation was successful.
But on opening my visual studio project to add new item, crystal report item is not listed there.
Is there anything that needs to be done to get it listed in the Add New Item dialog for visual studio?

I wonder what file you ran to install CRVS2010? Was it the MSI as opposed to the actual install file?

Error while trying to save a crystal report via the Add-ins

Hi All,
I'm getting an error while trying to save the crystal report after I have opened it from the SAP.
When I'm trying to save the report via the Add-ins I'm getting the next error :
Unknown error accured failed to get the internal key of the current user.

Crystal report hangs when calling oracle package

hi i have a oracle package that calls a proceadure, if i test this package in PLSQL developer it compiles and i get sensible results
this package has been designed using a ref type cursor to be called from crystal reports. it primary objective when the report is run, is to use File util to output data to an xml file.
when i run this from crystal reports it locks crystal reports up, and dosent output a file.
any ideas why crystal is hanging?

Hi yes the package uses fileutil to output a file,
the report user has permission over the file util output directory.
I have previously used this method to generate rpt, and other output files in parelell.

Crystal Report can't add Currency field when connect to SAP Infosets.

I created a simple Crystal Report which connect SAP Infosets.
Everything is fine except I add a "Currency" field into report. Three errors returned.
Fail to retrieve data from database -> Database connector error :'Syntax error in program SAPLHRPADINA1' -> Database connector Error: 'RFC_CLOSED'

Crystal report : can't add table in the samples provided by SAP

Hello,
I tried to add tables in the generic samples provided by SAP. I used the database expert and just added a new table but when I save the report in SAP and want to run it it is blank.
Is there another way to add a table ?

My question is concerning the standard layouts provided by SAP (downloaded from marketplace). The idea behind those reports is that you can use them as Templates.
The tables are not hardcoded with the table.field name but with a specific syntax that allows you to use those templates in any type of document (ex : you can use the template of sales order for delivery and invoices). The problem is that if you add a new table the report doesn't work!

Crystal Report - How to add a baseline in the graph?

Is there any function available to add a baseline in a line chart?

The standard answer would probably be to create an additional series of data for your graph and then plot that series as a line (CR allows combo bar/line/area charts).
If all else fails, this is easily doable with our CRChart add-in, which has extensive support for user-defined lines: Up to 20 different lines, values set at runtime, show values and/or arbitrary labels on the lines. But... this solution costs money

Not sure why you'd need and add-in for this? You can use selection formulas to control the data.

SAP Crystal Reports Add-In in SAP v9.0

My application are simple : m_crystalReportsViewer.ViewerCore.ReportSource = report; but in throw exception null pointer when I call showDialog.
I see in code, we have method ShowTabHeader.

A lot I don't understand in here... actually, I don't understand anything in your post:
When you call ShowDialog, what exactly are you trying to show? The code is the decompiled showtabheader method of the viewer. So, are you trying to override the viewer control and reportalbum? My guess is that the null reference is for the reportalbum's child object which is not the reportalbum object of the viewer. I don't understand why the code since its all handled internally to the viewer anyhow.
Perhaps searching the forum for code sample will help?

STEP 1: Like any other add-on project, refer SBO UI and DI COM to your project. Initialize SBO APPLICATION object and SBO COMPANY object and listen to events. (This is standard add-on project steps)
STEP 2: Add a Dataset to the project. This is used as a data source to your Crystal Reports. (For more information on this search for Push Technique Crystal Reports)
STEP 3: Add a Windows Form to your Project.
STEP 4: Add a Crystal Report Control to it.
STEP 5: Design report based on dataset added above.
STEP 6: Launch this Form with required parameters and selection criteria when any even happens.
Remember there is lot stuff available on net if you search with PUSH TECHNIQUE CRYSTAL REPORT. SAP SDN has lot answers for adding Crystal Reports integration to SAP Business One Add-On.
