InfoPackage deleted during transport

Hi
When I transport my infopackage, I get the error
Source system ECD221 does not exist; InfoPackage
ZPAK_24O9F5H386HTGLLDC1G44PR4L deleted
ECD221 is the source system which has been logically mapped to the QA system ECQ421. ECQ421 is active and replicated. I dont know why i get this message.
Can you help?

Hi,
Please Change the setting in your target system and reimport the request
Check the setting 'RSA1->Tools->SourceSystem after Transport' where you have to maintain the name of the original source system and the name of the new source system, e.g. original system R/3-DEV, after transport R/3-QA.

  • Problem during transport

    Dear All,
Now i meet a problem during transport my ABAP in dev to prod server. Not sure is BASIS or my problem.
The error is "Request after end mark"
One more question is for the transaction code STMS, the status for production server should be LOCK or IMPORT QUEUE IS OPEN? If it should be IMPORT QUEUE IS OPEN, how i going to do it cos now our status is LOCK?
    Thanks for ur help....
    regards;
    jee

    Hi,
The "Request after end mark" will be displayed due to the following:
Requests after the end mark are not imported during the next import. The end mark is automatically deleted only when the next import has completely ended. Afterwards, the requests can be imported. You can see the legend information in the following website:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/44/b4a3847acc11d1899e0000e829fbbd/content.htm
However, as per your questions I understand that the TMS configuration is not proper. Can you check the r3trans and the transport routes/layers again and see what is missing?

  • JSESSIONID not deleted during SSO logout

We have a ADF/Struts webapp on OracleAS 10.1.2.0.2 protected by SSO (mod_osso). When a user logs off from SSO, all a success mark is shown from each partner app where the user was logged in (including our application), but the remains logged in to the webapp nevertheless.
I have tracked the problem down to the JSESSIONID cookie, which causes the user to be logged in the application as long as the cookie is present. All the strictly SSO-related cookies are deleted during the logout except the JSESSIONID for the SSO partner webapp. The user is always correctly logged out from e.g. OIDDAS after logout.
After logout, if I go and destroy the cookie either by manually deleting it from my browser or by closing the web browser, mod_osso shows immediately the SSO login page. i hav also verified by tracing the HTTP traffic that it is the JSESSIONID cookie that causes this behaviour.
In Metalink article Note:258200.1, it is said that JSESSIONID cookie is not directly related to SSO so why is it a key factor when deciding whether a user actually is logged off from the application? Furthermore, the metalink article clearly states that the JSESSIONID cookie is deleted during logout (which is not the case).
As far as I remember, we have never been able to see it working in our setup.
Can mod_osso/SSO/whatever be configured do delete the JSESSIONID during the SSO log off or what would be the correct way to get the logoff working? Furthermore, shouldn't mod_osso actually ignore the JSESSIONID cookie and only care about the SSO-related cookies when deciding whether to allow the user in?
    TIA,
    Markus

We solved the problem by implementing a Servlet filter that takes care of invalidating the user session if the user has logged out (either explicitly or through Global User Inactivity Timeout).
The solution follows the guidelines described in
Oracle Identity Management Application Developer's Guide section "9.4.1 Single Sign-Off and Application Logout" (http://download-uk.oracle.com/docs/cd/B14099_19/idmanage.1012/b14087/mod_osso.htm#BJFGAGIA)
IMHO, the solution is a bit overkill, but it solved the problem. We haven't yet tried the solutions proposed by Rodrigo.

  • How to delete the Transport Request?

    Hi all,
I want to delete the Transoport Request from Production Box( we have 2 request number... one child another one parent). I released the Child Request. Now i want to delete that request. we don't have setup in our production Box i think(in order to release that we don't have setup in Production Box).
Any Idea? I know how to delete that Transport Request. If i try to release that i'm getting TP(Transport Profile error) <b>with return Code 12</b>. it suppose to handle by Basis. My basis consultant is not aware of how to work on this?
    Regards,
    Nagesh Ganisetti.

I am not sure I understand.
You release the request in the system you created, not in another system (in your case production). It will then go to the import queue of the target system.
Transports will be configured in all the systems in your landscape (including production).
Just by releasing a request, it will not go to the target (unless it is configured so, not likely if the target is production), someone has to import it into the target. I assume you do not want this request to go to target. In this case, release it, then go to STMS, import queue, and delete it from there.
    Added -
I now see that the request is in production.
Igore the above in that case.
If you are not able to release it, let it be. If you are doing an upgrade/support pack, you will need to release it.
When you try to delete, what message do you get?

  • Long DDIC Activation for Master Data Change During Transport

    Good Morning Folks,
During transport of a change to a custom master data object to production, the data dictionary activation is taking a very long time and using a very large amount of space.
The change to the master data object was adding three additional navigational attributes. This master data is not time-dependant.  The master data contains about 1.2 million records and has 49 active navigational attributes u2013 including the three new ones.  The Data Dictionary activation is executing report SAPLRSDU for more than 8 hours and is using upwards of 52GB of temp filespace (of 92GB allocated) during this time.  To the best of our knowledge, it looks as if it is trying to recreate or repopulate the /BIC/Pxxxx table of the master data.   It looks like it's reading billions of records (probably the same 1.2 m records over and over.)
There are no errors in any logs that we can see.
Previous changes to this master data object have been successful, and reasonably fast.  And the transport of this change from Dev to our QA environment was very fast.
We still need to get this change in, as well as additional changes that are dependant.  Why would this take so long, and is there anything we can do to get this to run faster?
BTW:  We are on 3.5 (but looking forward to NW7.)
    Thanks, Brian

    Brian,
Usually adding nav attributes would mean that the X and y tables get regenerated...
Also do you notice reads only on the P-Table or other tables which have this object as well..?
If it is only the P Table - try refreshing the stats for the same...

  • How to avoid hardcoding in RFC Lookup and JDBC Lookup during transport...

    Hi All,
We have RFC and JDBC Lookups in some of our scenarios(JDBC to RFC synch)....Now problem is during transport of design objects, we have to change the business system and channel name manually in UDF in target environment....as it wont change although we define the target group in SLD.....we want to avoid this hardcoding.....one idea is we can use a business service inspite of business system and assign the comm channel to it.....this business service will be generic for all environment(dev, qua and prod)...and hence we dnt hav to hardcode....pls let me knw how to achieve or its possible or not....
    waiting for ur inputs....
    Regds,
    Pinangshuk.

    Hi,
For RFC lookup you might be doing hardcoding for Business system and RFC channel name.
    Options are
    1) Create value mapping for Business system. So you can maintain it in Directory part.
    2) Keep the RFC channel name same for all system (Development, Quality, Production)
The details of channel can be changed in the Directory part of the respective system

  • The correct way to delete old transport request record ?

    Dear all,
We want to delete old transport request record before 2008 (two years before) of our system.
We learn that we should delete the records in the below two path:
    /usr/sap/trans/data
    /usr/sap/trans/cofiles
Our target is that we will not see the old record after deleting in our PRD system.
Normally, we see the transport request record in system by this way:
STMS -->  import overview --> PRD --> Import Queue   system PRD --> Import history
Our question is do we need to restart our system after delete the record to refresh the Import history?
We have not delete the record now.
Any experienced or expert, please kindly give advice.
    Regards,
    Allen

    Hello Allen,
there are some notes and documentations for this process. Deleting the files from /cofiles and /data will not erase the request from the import history, as you already know.
You should follow note #41732 to have the requests/data completely deleted from your system. There is a lot of complementary reading in notes #7224, #556734, #189841, etc.
Note that you can remove the request from the import queue, import history, data and cofiles subdirectory, but still have it on the <SID> buffer (located in  /usr/sap/trans/buffer/<SID>). If this happens to you, please save a copy of the buffer file <SID>, then create a new, blank file named <SID> at a time when the import queue is empty (VERY IMPORTANT). Or, alternatively, please excute the tp cleanbuffer FIL command (which will erase the requests that are not found in /data and /cofiles directories).
--> Please test this first on a test system, not directly on a productive environment.
This should be enough to delete old transport requests on your system.
    Best regards,
    Tomas Black

  • Query on view cluster event trigger during transport

    Hi SAP Gurus,
I would just like to ask if the subroutines set in events for view clusters would also get triggered upon transport.
We had created a function module which is meant to regenerate a dynamic program when changes are made to a particular table.  We're planning to call this function module in a subroutine that is called during an event in the view cluster (set to "before saving the data to database").  However, we would also like for this dynamic program to be regenerated automatically once the table changes are transported to the test/prod systems.  Thus, I wondered if setting up the event is sufficient, and that it would also be triggered automatically prior to saving the changes to the database during transport, or if we still need to set up XPRA for this.
    Thanks!

Some events are triggered when exportingthe changed data,
    - 10 After creating the change request header entries (E071)
    - 11 After changing a key entry in the change request (E071K)
    - 12 After changing the key entries in the change request (E071K)
which are suitable to add a XPRA entry in the request
But many events (AFAIK those without dialog) are triggered during import (and we can check if the program is called via transaction or import via flag VIM_IMPORT_MODE_ACTIVE, eg. do not execute a form which fill hidden fields like created by and created at.)

  • How to invoice costs when damage occurs during transportation

    Hi,
If there is damage during transportation such as loss, accident..., we have to create an invoice to the shipping company with a cost based on the weight of the damaged product for insurance purposes.
Have you ideas to set up this process in SD 4.7 because we want a link between the delivery or the order and the invoice created for damage.
    Thanks
    Jean Luc

    Hi Jean,
When the goods get back to the warehouse, we treat this process in Returns which u r quite aware.
You can use the below scenario.
Say, the customer did not return the goods back may b bcause of the cost of sending the goods back involves more money in such a case he informs the business abt the damage of goods. in such scenerios we create a credit memo request w.r.t invoice then we give credit note(invoice) here no returns delivery is required as we have nt received any goods physically from the customer.

  • To delete the transport request.

when i'm trying to delete the transport request by using se09, it responses with " Request/task BWDK916118 cannot be deleted because it contains locked objects." That request is created by me. It showing same name but it will not allow me to delete. Please help to delete how to delete that request.
    Thanks
    Satish

    Hi..
Basically you are getting this messge because first you have to delete all the objects of the underlying sub requests and then the subrequests ......then finally the actual request.................
Secondly, it is better to unlock all the objects first so that you can delete all the objects at a time..............because if  you have to delete all the objects one by one.....and if each requests contains 100s objects then it is very tedious to delete all the objects one by one...
Go to SE03 --> There you will get the options "Unlock Objects (Expert Tool) " --> Click over there --> give the subrequest nos and unlock it....
Then go to SE01 --> Click on "Objects" tab --> You will get the change button --> click on it --> Select All and Delete at a time...

  • Am trying to download itunes as it has previously deleted during an update, and it comes up during the installation that there is a file error with my resources

Am trying to download itunes as it has previously deleted during an update, and it comes up during the installation that there is a file error with my resources

    That's perfect, thanks.
    error writing to file: C:\Program
    files\ i tunes\ i tunes.Resources\ja.lproj\AppleTVStream
itxib. Verify that you have access to that directory
That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.
XP instructions in the following document: How to perform disk error checking in Windows XP
Vista instructions in the following document: Check your hard disk for errors
Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

If you follow the steps very carefully and do as each says, this will solve your problem.. Now i am very happy i can actually install iTunes and use it for my iPod.
Remember to be carefully with the steps as the things you will be deleting are very important to your comp.
