Informatica checkout does not allow updates

I am using Informatica 7.9.6.1.
I checkout a Workflow and am trying to add a pre sql to the target table object to change the parallelism to 4. But the sql popup is dark grey and will not allow me to enter the sql.
It seems as if I am in readonly mode? I am using the same password Administrator that all others use, and they cannot update the sql either.
Any ideas on what to check to be able to modify sql or even add a sql override?

I did get the presql to take on the workflow. I had to check out the workflow, then checkout the session from view history and checkout, then was able to update the session settings. In other environments, we had checkout turned off and simply could update all fields whether a workflow or session setting.

Apps Store allows to sign in but does not allow update or purchase

iLife came installed on my new Macbook Pro. I am being prompted to download two udates, one each for iMovie and iPhoto but Apps Store, despite permitting successful log-in, keeps on demanding password over and over again. To resolve the issue, Apple has sent me free codes for iLife. If i uninstall iLife and try to reinstall it using new codes, will Apps Store allow that? As i am totally new to Mac, I am reluctant to delete any application.

Has some other Apple ID been used on this (brand new) computer by the reseller?
As long as you are not actually seeing a starnger's Apple ID appear on your Mac, them most likely no.
The issue is that you likely didn't do the setup of the new Mac exactly right. When you first set up the Mac, before using any apps you are supposed to go to the Mac App Store, sign into your account (Store menu) and go to the Purchases pane and accept the iLife apps; iPhoto, iMovie and GarageBand. If you did not do that and you used any of the three apps, then this is the type of problem that results. You cannot accept the apps and ypu cannot update them.

Adobe 7.0 error 259 does not allow update

You will probably not be able to create the port with AA7 in Win7. You might get lucky, but AA7 is not compatible with Win7 and you will have to try. It may be that nothing will work.
If you get the Adobe PDF printer, but not the port, you may be able to set up the port as a file, rather than the PDF port. Then open the file in Distiller to complete the conversion. You might be able to use watched folders in Distiller to do the conversion process, but only trying it will give you an idea. You may find that nothing works and then your only solution is an upgrade.

ITunes does not allow updates to iPhone and iPad

I'm trying to update my devices to iOS 4.3.5. Update downloads okay. However when iTunes verifies the device a message indicates the device is not eligible for the update. This worked before I upgraded to Lion. Firewall has been checked, iTunes updated to latest version, 10.4 I think. I have uninstalled iTunes and carried out a re install twice, and the fault persists.

If you are signed in with the same account that you bought it with then it should show in the Purchased tab in the App Store app on your iPhone and iPad, and under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes. Correct. The 3G iPod does not have the hardware to support an iOS version higher than 5.1.1
To more easily find compatible apps:
iOSSearch - search the iTunes store for compatible apps.
Apple Club - filter apps by iOS version.
Starting when iOS 7 was releases, Apple now allows downloading the last compatible version of some apps (iOS 4.2.1 and later only)

You first have to download the non-compatible version on your computer. Then when you try to purchase the version on your iPod you will be offered a compatible version if one exists.

With Lion 10.7.1. you where able to drag events from "All Day Events" into the "Reminders" bar to create upcoming reminders.

Great being able to sync reminders (well overdue) however if I have to re-type a calener envent into reminders it's a waste of time!!

The adobe version 10 update does not allow use of tabs

I had tabs working ok on my laptop, then an adobe update to ver 10 has stopped the tabs feature working. I get all sorts of notices about this being embarrissing to Firefox and analysing the problem. But nothing is offered. Everything locks up when I try to open tabs. Seems trawling q and a that this is not a prob unique to me. Do Firefox actually moniter this feedback and offer some hope of resolution?

Flash is not available for the iPad. If Bridge Base Online requires Flash, there's nothing you can do on the iPad, unless Bridge Base Online has an app in the iTunes App Store.

I have not been able to synch Ical and Iphoto with my IPad. I've been to the Genius bar 5 times and on the phone twice to try to resolve this problem.

This is a separate issue than what you stated in the subject. Syncing recent iPhones and iPads that have iOS5 on them require iTunes 10.5, which also requires OSX 10.5.8 on your Mac. Your profile says you have 10.5.2. If that is correct, you need to update to 10.5.8, then update iTunes to 10.5, if you haven't already done so.

Updated iphone 3GS to iOS 5, now my company e-mail will not send "because server does not allow relaying". I'm just an employee, not an IT type - have no idea what this means and I'm very frustrated. Also infuriated with Apple because THEIR update caused this to happen, yet I have to PAY for their support because I have an older iPhone. Someone please help.

razmee209, thanks for your reply. After signing up for the community, I saw that I wasn't the only one. However, I think I've solved it by looking over the comments in reply to others with this problem.
First, I think the iOS5 update may have made the phone default to IMAP setting. I noticed when I deleted my account and re-set it up that there is a large button at the top for either IMAP or POP. It is already defaulted to IMAP, but my account must be POP. So this is the first thing to check when you're setting up your account.
Second, I noted some other comments about needing to supply a username and password to the outgoing server even though it says optional. I included those, but got a message that it wasn't recognized (or something like that) and did I want to continue anyway. I told it to continue. After a few seconds, it verified my account, and now everything works.
Hope this helps others having this problem.

Iphoto does not allow me to update

Since installing Moutain Lion my iphoto does not allow me to update. It asks for it, but does not complete it. What should I do?

I have the same problem. I have iPhoto 9.1.5 running OS X Mountain Lion 10.8.2, I open iPhoto and select Check for Updates... It says iPhoto 9.4.2 is available so I push Launch Software Update and it launches the App Store but then it says No Update Available. This doesn't surprise me since I never bought through the App Store but instead installed from the iLife '11 install DVD. All of iLife updated fine until Apple started releasing automatic updates through the App Store ONLY. So I tried going on Apple Support and manually downloading the next available update (Tried 9.2.1 & 9.4.2), I launch the installer and it says iPhoto 9.1 or greater is required to install this update. I have 9.1.5 so I don't understand why it won't work. I even tried installing iPhoto 9.1 update and it says it requires iPhoto 9.0. I don't know what else to try except maybe calling Apple to see if they would give me a free download through the App Store (Highly unlikely). I refuse to purchase the whole suite AGAIN just because it won't update but I want my updates so I can use iCloud and Photo Stream. So frustrating. I have been dealing with this for a year and now I am finally deciding to speak up and get some help with this. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

If you have more than one user account, these instructions must be carried out as an administrator.

Windows tells me "an unknown program wants to change this computer; windows does not allow firefox updates to complete.

What can i do about this problem? I click "more details" and find out that the 'unknown program' is firefox. I click to install; but windows does not allow the updates to complete. I let the update window run for over an hour one day... it still did not complete.

Check that you do not run Firefox as Administrator. 
Right-click the Firefox desktop shortcut and choose "Properties". 
Make sure that all items are deselected in the "Compatibility" tab of the Properties window. 
* Privilege Level: "Run this program as Administrator" should not be selected 
* "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" should not be selected 
Also check the Properties of the firefox.exe program in the Firefox program directory.
