Informatica repository not started....

Question

Dear All,
Our setup of OBI apps was working fine till yesterday from past 2 months, suddenly told when we tried to connect the admin console of informatica we got the error that informatica repository is not starting.
Log as follows:

We have checked our TNS entries, we are able to connect to the informatica repository database through SQLPLUS.
We are not able to find out the problem, in log we found one error stating
INFO Wed Aug 20 17:23:30 2008 2636 RCORE_59046 The high availability license is absent for the Repository Service process ORACLE_BI_DW_BASE
is this error is due to expiry of licence key if yes how can we resolve the problem
however in admin console the validation of license is showing non-expiry.
please help us!

Hi,
Please open a new thread and I'm sure lot of them can give you directions or courses to take. As far as real time assistance I doubt anybody can help you. My list of priorities when you shift gears would be
1. Familiarize yourself with the database
2. Learn the concepts of Datawarehousing(Ralph Kimball's Datawarehousing Toolkit is a good source)
3. Learn Informatica - They have got pretty good documents. Also you learn it with experience. Participate actively in different forums.
If you have any doubts or questions on specifics during you shape up, feel free to post the questions and someone here would definitely help you.
