Hello HP
a high number of similar requests/threads can be found in this FORUM together with corresponding answers.
Please
a.) Refer to Best practise of SAP installing EHS (once again they are mentioned several times in this FORUM)
b.) Specify more precisely the term "EH&S". In most cases the customer must prepare a "roll out" project plan. Basic EH&S installation is based on core customizing. IN most cases the customer needs: (please refer to online help of SAP EH&S to get more details: http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_06/helpdata/en/a5/3adda043be11d188fe0000e8322f96/frameset.htm):
-  EHS& Basic Data and Tools
- EHS Product Safety
- EHS Dangerous goods management
- EHS Hazardous substance management
- in case of international customer: EH&S SVT
- if the customer needs labels (it is assumed that he need): EHS GLM
- and in some cases EH&S Waste is needed on the top.
Preparation of blueprint as well as doing a set up of EH&S Products Safety and Dangerous Goods management can take one year (depending on the availability of ressource on client side). Using the best Practise approach (if customer starts from scratch) help  to reduce efforts; but this is really client specific.
Further on installation (that means time to analyze and implement etc.) depends on the release which the user will use (ECC 6.0 is now best practise with or with EnhPacks). Further on if the customer is "really" an international one solutiones in the area of e.g.:
- SAP product and REACH Compliance Suite
- SAP GTS installations (generally the existing GRC architecture/strategy of SAP might be of interest to the customer/client)
- SAP Components Extension
Hope this helps.
With best regards
C.B.
PS: PLease be informed that SAP (and other companies) is providing additional services which are needed in the EH&S environment (legal data)

  • Is there is any way to find the data transfer from client to Configuration Manager for health monitoring and hardware Inventory

    Hi
Can Configuration Manager provide a way to find the data transfer from client to Configuration Manager for health monitoring and hardware Inventory. How can I know what amount of data is consumed during that process

Place archive_reports.sms in %systemroot%\ccm\inventory\temp\ for both 64-bit and 32-bit computers.
There are two situations where you can use this depending on the type of client:
    1. To keep inventory reports on a client (that is not an MP), create the following file:
    %systemroot%\ccm\inventory\temp\archive_reports.sms
    2. To keep inventory reports on a MP (that is also a client), create the following file:
    <x>:\sms_ccm\inventory\temp\archive_reports.sms
The XML file will be saved in the inventory\temp folder.
More information on the above here: http://blogs.technet.com/b/configurationmgr/archive/2012/09/17/controlling-configuration-manager-2012-using-hidden-files.aspx

    Hi,
The below code shows how to read from txt file and display in the perticular fields.
    Why have you used waveform?
    Regards,
    Roopesh
There are so many things wrong with this VI, I'm not even sure where to start.
Hard-coding paths that point to your user folder on the block diagram. What if somebody else tries to run it? They'll get an error. What if somebody tries to run this on Windows 7? They'll get an error. What if somebody tries to run this on a Mac or Linux? They'll get an error.
Not using Read From Spreadsheet File.
Use of local variables to populate an array.
Cannot insert values into an empty array.
What if there's a line missing from the text file? Now your data will not line up. Your case structure does handle this.
Also, how does this answer the poster's question?

  • Searching volume on server from client for content in file

We have 9 macs networked to a mac G4 server running server software for 10.3.9. All macs are running 10.4.9. Is there a way to search from a network client for a the content of a file located on the server, to which the client has access privileges.

Since the server is running 10.3.9, it won't be indexed through Spotlight..
    You might try using EasyFind.
Just be aware that every time you do a content search, it has to read through the files on the server, rather than relying on a pre-built index, so search times may be a lot longer than a comparable Spotlight search. You can mediate that to a degree by narrowing the range of the search. (Searching a particular folder instead of the whole volume)

  • Setting interface name dynamically from client for SOAP Adapter...

    Hi,
does anyone have experience in setting the sender interface name in the HTTP-SOAP request dynamically? I have followed the instructions in "How To Use the XI 3.0 SOAP Adapter" on page 17 (see also SAP Note 856597) which say:
"If you select Use Encoded Headers and Use Query String,
[...]The sender SOAP adapter creates the XI message header according to the
information provided in the query string. [...] In the sender SOAP adapter, you can use only some of the parameters, but the first
parameter must always be the version. For example, you send from the Web service client to the following URL: http://<host>:<j2ee-port>/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=<party>:<service>:<channel>&version=3.0&Interface=http%3A
    %2F%2Fsap.com%2Ftest%5ETest
This will overwrite the default interface and namespace of the sender channel."
This is exactly what I need! However, what I actually get as a response following this description is a SOAP:Fault with a java.lang.StringIndexOutOfBoundsException: String index out of range: -1.
Has anyone got this to work properly?
    Thanks in advance.

Thank you for your input. I am using the following format for the call (with "x" standing for one letter each):
    http://xix.xxx.xx.xxx:5xx00/XISOAPAdapter/MessageServlet?channel=:xx_xxx_xxx_xxxx:xx_xxx_x_SOAP_S&version=3.0&Interface=http%3A%2F%2Fxxxxxxxx.xx%2Fxxxxxx%2Fxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx%5Exxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Anything wrong with that? With unchecked "Use Encoded Headers" and "Use Query String" it works fine (default interface) but as soon as I set these flags I get the SOAP-Fault response.
We are on XI 3.0 SPS18.

  • Has anyone had trouble running outlook after transferring information from outlook for PC and if so how did you fix?

Having trouble migrating from outlook 07 on a PC to outlook 11 on a Mac, the .pst file transfers but is not recognized (for lack of a better word) as an outlook back up on the Mac.

Thanks SO much! I was afraid that it might think this old laptop could use it and install something that would kill it. But it found exactly what I needed and it's up and running. As for adobe, it looks like I've gone as far as I can with it since I have a powerpc, but I can live with that. Many thanks and I appreciate you not making fun of an aging Apple junkie. *S*

  • Extracting doc number information from dox saved in DMS

    Hello,
I'm wanting to have a macro written that will put a document id into the
footer of saved documents when the appropriate button is pushed.
    I know I can use the standard Word "Insert | Autotext | Header/Footer |
Filename or Filename and path but when I do that, I get something like
    this:
    ::ODMAGRPWISEDOMAIN_AUS_DOM.POSTOFFICE_AUS_PO.Offi ce Administration:9055.1
whereas the powers-that-be want something like this:
    OA:9055.1
and nothing else. (The "OA" bit is the short version of Office
    Administration)
I have a developer who thinks he may be able to pull this together, but he
    has posed this question:
Is there a way to retrieve the profile information from Groupwise for a
document that is currently open on screen?
    Using GW7, SP2 on NetWare 6.5, SP6.
    TIA,
    Catherine

I think if you insert the filename with the option to include the path name,
you will get the ODMA string with the doc number at the end (assuming the
document has been saved and already has been assigned a doc number). Can
you parse that somehow? I did this a long time ago in WP but not Word.
Seems to me you should be able to record a macro to do that.

  • Get mor information from customer  AI_SC_GET_SAP_CUSTOMER_NUMBERS

    Hello,
In our solution manager, we are trying to get more customer information from sap.
In report AI_SC_GET_SAP_CUSTOMER_NUMBERS that call function BCSN_Z001_GET_VARS_DEBITS in remote RFC  SAP-OSS to get all customer numbers.
i see that this function fill the table l_debits that have more information than the customer as well as name, phone, country, etc..
but we only can get the customer numbers.
is there any possibility to get more information as name, address, contact person, etc.. from Sap to  solution manager synchronization process to get all customers data up-to-date ? thought this report or another one ?
    thanks:

  • Opening the system for configuration

    Hi Guys,
In some cases, we open the SAP system to do some configuration for certain tables.
We have to request the Basis team to open the SAP system..What exactly do we mean by this opening of the system?
Are we allowing the customization of certain tables which is otherwise not possible in the Quality system?
And we again need to close the system..What is the purpose of this opening/closing....
    thanks
    srik.

Usually they lock the client for configuration or any changes. they do this in order to avoid inconsistencies between clients.
This is set up for QA and Production where they want to centralize all developments and changes in one client and transport the changes.
Sometimes, there are configurations that are done manually in each client. In this case, BASIS team needs to allow changes in the system using SCC4.
